Abstract

Jackfruit seed is usually thrown away after being consumed as fresh fruit or being processed as a jackfruit crackers and other food product. Jackfruit seed consist of carbohydrate (36,7 g/100 g) and also as a source minerals. The availability of jackfruit seed was found abundance but the use of it not maximize yet.  The flour from jackfruit seed can be used an alternative for making food product. The flour extracted from (40,891) jackfruit seed have longer storage time and easy to turn it to other product. The aim of this research was to measure water content, protein content and potassium level from jackfruit flour. The method used during the research was experimental research which is to compare the treatment between boiled and fresh jackfruit seed. The findings showed that water content of boiled jackfruit seed are higher (43,844 unit) than the flour of the fresh jackfruit flour (40,891 unit).The protein content are lowest of flour of boiled jackfruit seed with the value of 7,51 and highest of fresh jackfruit seed with value of 7,72. The potassium content the flour of boiled jackfruit seed was higher with the value of 0.062 than the flour of fresh jackfruit seed with value of 0.006. Kata kunci: Biji Nangka,  Kadar Air, Kadar Kalium, Kadar Protein, Tepung Biji Nangka.

Abstract

Teaching materials are an important part of the learning process, one of which is the Student Worksheet (LKS). An educator needs to increase creativity in preparing teaching materials to be delivered. Teaching materials used by students need to follow the development of science and technology. A digital mind map is a mind map that is packaged in digital form that displays brief lesson notes in the form of a mind map with the help of the mindomo application. This needs analysis was carried out to find out the needs needed in the Student Worksheet (LKS), and responses regarding the development of LKS with the help of digital mind maps. This type of research method is descriptive qualitative research. Research data was obtained by observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. The results obtained from this analysis are the responses of teachers and students to the development of worksheets with the help of digital mind maps are quite good. The worksheets used by educators are monotonous but understandable, there is no digital mind maps task to increase student creativity. Students also agree that there is an interesting, easy-to-understand LKS development by using their Android smartphones. Therefore, the data from this needs analysis becomes a preliminary study on the development of LKS with the help of digital mind maps, then it is developed into an LKS with the help of digital mind maps that will be used.Kata Kunci: Analisis Kebutuhan, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), Digital Mind Maps

Abstract

Mosquitoes are vectors of various diseases such as malaria, DHF, and elephantiasis. Many attempts have been made to suppress the mosquito population, one of which is biological control using mosquito larvae. The purpose of this study was to determine the predation power of the Aedes sp larvae. This type of research is descriptive. The data obtained are presented in tabular form and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the predation power of betta fish (Betta splendens) was higher (80 larvae / 24 hours) compared to guppy fish (Poecillia reticullata) with 52 larvae / 24 hours and black molly fish (Poecillia splendens) with 42 larvae / 24 hours. The results of the study were validated by design experts and material experts with a percentage of 71.24% (good criteria) and compiled as a source of learning in the form of biology practical instructions for senior high school. Kata Kunci : Daya Predasi, Jentik nyamuk, sumber belajar biologi

Abstract

biology teachers at Taman Mulia Kubu Raya School,  project-based student worksheets (LKPD) in making hand sanitizer gels and teachers also did not have experience in making kesum leaf hand sanitizer gels. This study aims to develop a project-based LKPD manufacture of kesum leaf hand sanitizer gel on biotechnology materials.  Research is the development of Thiagrajan with amodified 4D model into 3D. student worksheets (LKPD) manufacture of hand sanitizer gels that are developed are feasible based on percentage of eligibility for media, material, and language experts are 92.87%, 84.88%, and 83.33%, respectively, with very decent criteria, can be used but need a little revision. The percentage of the questionnaire responses to the initial scale test and the large scale test were 89.99% and 92.70%, respectively, with very good the learning process. the results obtained, it shows that the student worksheets (LKPD) for students biotechnology materials.Kata kunci: Daun kesum, Hand Sanitizer, LKPD.
