Abstract

The aims of the study is to determine the effect of jigsaw learning model on the learning outcomes of the Indonesian society study at the second semester of the economy education in the academic year of 2016/2017.  The population in this study were 47 students consisting of 2 classes, A class and B class. The sample in this study is A class of 26 students and B class of 21 students. Sampling technique in this research is using Pusposive Sampling with certain consideration reason. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis conducted by the researchers obtained the results at the level of significance α = 0.05 yield tcount = 8.97 and ttable = 2.020 which means thitung> ttable so H0 rejected and H1 accepted, thus it can be concluded that there is significant influence of jigsaw learning model on the learning outcomes of the Indonesian society study at the second semester of the economy education in the academic year of 2016/2017. Abstract

The learning model is basically a form of learning which is illustrated from the opening to the closing that is typically presented by teachers or lecturers. While the method of learning is the way used to implement the plan that has been prepared in the real activity for the objectives that have been compiled achieved optimally.Direct instruction model can encourage students' skill to build their own knowledge through learning activities. The learning activities provided are by giving the exercises directly. Giving the tasks directly by providing a problem that must be solved by students so that students are expected to be active to deepen the material provided.The implementation of direct instructioncan improve students' creative thinking skill. This is evident from the the students’ skill in presenting the results of observations that they have done. They have broader thoughts and insights because they have learned from the firsthand. Abstract

One of the direct learning models involved students in the learning process is the Role Playing model. The learning model is very suitable for learning subjects that involves real life situation. In Model Role Playing students are invited to play some roles related to the subjects being studied. With the role played by each student, they can experience firsthand the lessons exposed to the subjects. For example on financial management subjects. This research is an experimental, with research design True Experimental Design, Pretest-control Group Design. In the data analysis can be seen that the calculation of the value analysis thitung> ttabel. On the list of significant 5% that is 7.74> 1.70 that t_hitung bigger than ttable and at a significant level of 1% that is 7.74> 2.46 that thitung bigger than ttabel. By affecting t_count with ttable if t_count> ttable means the hypothesis is accepted. From these tests it can be concluded that the effectiveness of Role Playing Model in Improving Student Competence on Financial Management Subject, the hypothesis is accepted. Abstract

The existence of the computer lab is one thing that is essential to support the improvement of students’ competence. Some other researcherssaid that some of the characteristics of PBL and its influence on motivation and learning outcomes, however, these studies can not describe the improvement of the activity in utilizing a computer lab. This study aimed to analyze the differences in the use of computer labs and student learning outcomes at the accounting program to operate accounting computer before and after the implementation of project based learning (PBL). The population of this study was all students of XI class and XII class in accounting programof SMK Al Falah Winong. Sampling in this study is using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data collected through observation. Hypothesis testing is done through t test with two independent samples. The results showed that the application of PBL was able to increase the activity in computer lab and student learning outcomes in the competence particularity on operate computer accounting application. Keywords: Project based learning, computer lab, Student learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of learning probing prompting assisted flash card media to the learning outcomes of study of IPS integrated second semester class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Metro academic year 2016/2017.The population in this study is the students of class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Metro academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 48 students. The sample used is class VIIB MTs Muhammadiyah Metro which amounts to 24 students as experiment class, while class VIIA become control class. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of the use of learning with Probing Prompting Helped Flash Card Media to the results of learning IPS integrated with the formula of simple linear regression. From the data analysis of the results of the study using simple linear regression formula with a significant level of 5% obtained tcount = 3.85 while ttable = 1.72 shows t count > ttable, so the hypothesis accepted, that there is a significant influence from the use of probing prompting model assisted flash card media on the learning outcomes of study of IPS integrated second semester class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Metro academic year 2016/2017.Keywords : Flash card, Learning outcomes, Probing prompting

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of school quality (X1), Promotion mix (X2), School location (X3) Against the number of students (Y). The type of this research is descriptive associative. Descriptive means describing the variables X1, X2, X3 dan Y, While the associative meaning seeks a relationship or influence between variables X1,X2, X3 and Y. This study uses ex post facto method, which is to test what has happened to the subject. The population in this study amounted to 24 schools, because the population is less than 100, the sampling technique in this study is to use saturated samples. All of the population is sampled. Based on the table, to test the above hypothesis is using statistic F. In the table it is explained that Fhitung = 10007.508With a level of significance 0,00. FhitungWith dk numerator = k and dk denominator = n-k-1 with α = 0,05 with Ftabel = F (0,05)(3; 103-3-1)  = F(0,05)(3:100) = 2,790. Therefore Fhitung  > Ftabel  or 10007.508> 2,790. Means, H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. With a level of significance 0,00. Means, H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. It means that, there is a significant influence among school quality (X1), Promotion mix (X2), School location (X3) Against the number of students (Y). Level determination of 0.997 or 99.7%, this means the variable number of students (Y) is affected by school quality (X1), Promotion mix  (X2), School location (X3) of 99,7%, The rest of 0.3% influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Keywords: Promotion mix and school location, School quality.

Abstract

Nowadays, competence mastery is highly required in order to compete in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Era. The purpose of this research is to figure out the students’ understanding and readiness dealing with the ASEAN Economic Community as well as the possible encountering problems when competing in the ASEAN Economic Community Era. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach conducted at Economics Faculty involving respondents of office administration education department students in the academic year of 2014/2015. The data are collected through questionnaires. The research results show that based on the aspect of communication competence, students are adequately ready with the percentage of 71.46%; based on the aspect of capability competence, they are categorized into high by 64.72%; and their knowledge competence has already reached 73.14%.Keywords: Labor markets in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Era, Students’ readiness, Working competence,

Abstract

Marketing is an essential activity in the company. Marketing is a system in the whole of the business activities shown to plan, price, promote, and distribute goods and services that satisfy the needs, both of the existing buyers and the potential buyers. The purpose of this research is: "to know the effect of distribution line towards income level of banana chips entrepreneurat Metro City in 2016". While the hypothesis in this study is: "There is a positive influence of the application of distribution line towards income level of banana chips entrepreneurat Metro City in 2016". Calculation analysis of t_count and t_tabel above mentioned means that t_count> t_table. And t_tables can be viewed in the G list. At a significant level of 5% ie 35.9> 1.73 and a significant level of 1% that is 35.9> 2.55. Thus the hypothesis reads "there is a positive influence of the effect of distribution line towards income level of banana chips entrepreneurat Metro City in 2016". Keywords: Distribution line, Income level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of School Library Utilization and Reading Interest on Student Learning Outcomes Integrated Students Class VII Semester Even SMP Negeri 2 Metro Year Lesson 2016/2017. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMPN 2 Metro, amounting to 240 students and samples taken using cluster random sampling technique (random sample) is the determination of samples with the draw of the class. The selected classes are the VII F class of 30 students. To know whether there is Influence of School Library Utilization and Student Reading Interest on Integrated IPS Learning Outcomes is by multiple linear regression formula.  From the data analysis of the research results using multiple linear regression formula with the calculation result of School Library Utilization of Integrated IPS Learning Outcomes is 0.923 with very close criteria, from Reading Interest to Integrated IPS Learning Outcomes is 0.707 with the criteria closely and R2 from the Effect of School Library Utilization and Interest Read on Integrated IPS Learning Results of 0.878 with very close criteria. Thus it can be concluded that there is Influence of School Library Utilization And Interest Reading To Learning Results Integrated IPS SMP Negeri 2 Metro Lesson Year 2016/2017 classified as very positive. Where students who declared complete study with KKM >75 as many as 22 students or by 87% and students who expressed incomplete learning as many as 8 students or 13%. Thus the hypothesis is accepted when the Library Utilization and Reading Interest is applied then the results of learning IPS Integrated will be better. Abstract

To get good result in learning process, teacher should be able to improve herself  by using many kinds of methods so that the result can be improved and students can be active in teaching learning process. The purpose of this research is to know whether the use of discussion and giving task can improve learning achievement in a material of economic growth at the class of XI IPS 4 SMAN 1 Punggur year 2015/2016. To get good result in learning process teacher should be able to improve herself  by using many kinds of methods so the result can be improved and students can be active in teaching learning process. The purpose of this research is to know whether the use of discussion and giving task can improve learning achievement in a material of economic growth at the class of XI IPS 4 SMAN 1 Punggur year 2015/2016. The location of this research is in SMAN 1 Punggur. It is done for 3 months , August to October 2015. Subject of this research is Class XI IPS 4 of  SMAN 1 Punggur in the academic year of 2015/ 2016.  Technique of collecting data used are : observation, documentation and data analysis interview by using qualitative descriptive analysis. Research procedure uses classroom action research method that consists of 2 cycles. The result of the classroom action research shows that In pre cycle, students who pass / succeed are 10 from 31 students or 32.14% and fail students are 21 from 31 students or equal to 6.86 %. After getting treatment in the first cycle, passed students increases to 22 from 31 students or 75% while fail students decrease 10 from 31 students or 25%. In the second cycle, passed students increases to 29 from 31 students or 92.86% while failed students only 2 from 31 students. Based on the data above it can be concluded that by using discussion method and giving task can improve thestudents’ economy achievement with economic growth material at the XIGrade of Social Science 4 in SMAN 1 Punggur on odd semester in the academic year of 2015/2016is true. Keywords : Discussion method and giving task, Learning achievement.
