Abstract

Teacher competency is one of the important things so that learning objectives can be achieved. By conducting research on competency mapping, teachers can get the right way so that their competencies can be improved and learning objectives achieved. This article is part of the results of research on mapping these competencies. Competency mapping is done by compiling research instruments in the form of tests that refer to the applicable syllabus. The results of the syllabus analysis are then realized in the form of questions. The question is then trialled and analyzed. The results of the study showed that the questions that were feasible to use for the Indonesian language teacher competency mapping test were 20 syllabus oriented multiple choice questions and 7 language questions.Keywords: Mapping, Competence, Research Instruments

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using the application of the cooperative method script fourth grade students of SD Negeri 167647 Tebing Tinggi City. The cooperative script method is one of several methods in the cooperative learning model (Cooperative Learning). This method was proposed by Danserau and friends in 1985. Cooperative learning is a group learning activity to work together to help construct concepts, solve problems or inquiry (Suyatno, 2009: 51). From the results of the learning activities that have been carried out it can be concluded that the application of cooperative script learning methods has a positive impact in increasing students' interest and learning achievement on Indonesian language subjects in Class IV 167677 SD Negeri Tebing Tinggi which is characterized by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle. The application of the Cooperative Script method makes students more active, accountable for their assignments and delivers news / story ideas about Indonesian language learning material taught by teachers individually or in groups.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Scripts, Indonesian Language

Abstract

This study aims to explore further information about the factors that influence the low interest in scholarships at the MIN 12 Bereuen-Aceh School. The population of this study was students MIN 12 Bireuen class VI. The sampling technique is done using the simple random sampling method. The data collection technique used in this study is the Inventory of Student Interest in Safran Model (Safran Students Interest). The results showed that from 32 respondents the following data were obtained: (1) Interest in reading students MIN 12 Bireuen-Aceh, generally included in the medium category with details: 18 0rang (54.54%) often went to the library, 13 people (39.39%) sometimes to the library and only 2 people (6.06%) always go to the library; (2) Students visit the library: 19 people (57.57%) sometimes, 14 people (42.42%) always and 1 person (3.03%) never go to the library; (3) The frequency of student visits to the library is generally 1-3 times in 1 week, which is 31 people (93.93%) from the sample and; (4) visiting the library to search for or read books if: a) there are assignments given by the teacher which are 15 people (45.45%), 6 people (18.18%) take advantage of free time to read books or intense library visits and only 1 person (3.03 %) because of hobbies.Keywords: Study, Reading Interest, MIN 12 Bireuen

Abstract

Deeply exploring the contents of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the Indonesian education system, it can be drawn two important aspects that must be achieved by elementary education institutions, namely: providing a basis for life in society, and can continue education. Mathematics education in Indonesia needs to be reformed, especially in the Teacher learning strategies used by teachers. This is because until now many students complain and experience difficulties in learning mathematics. Mathematics is a ghost that is frightening to most elementary school students. This is because one of the characteristics of mathematics learning is abstract.Keywords: Mathematics, Learning, Mind Based Learning.

Abstract

This purposes of this research is to improve learning result on PKn subject  through cooperative method group investigation type. This classroom action researchconducted by 2 cycles of the four phases: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects were students from class V, SD N 165730 Tebing Tinggi which amounted to 33 students. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the use of the cooperative method group investigation typeof PKn subjects can improve student learning result characterized by increased mastery learning students, namely pre-cycle (66,67%), the first cycle (72,72%), cycle II (90,90 %) and complete learn the clasical equal to 90,90 %.Keywords :Cooperative, Group Investigation, Learning Result

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the leadership of school principals and the results of the performance of public elementary school teachers in Percut Sei Tuan District. The research method used is a survey method with a type of quantitative research. To obtain the required data using a data collection tool in the form of documentation and questionnaires. Research in the Elementary School of Percut Sei Tuan as many as 66 schools. The number of samples is 6 schools based on the purposive sampling technique of 10% while the sample objects are 46 teachers. Based on data analysis, obtained an overview of the principal's leadership in the medium category at 48% and the teacher's performance in the medium category by 55%. The results of the correlation analysis between the leadership of the principal with the results of the teacher's performance obtained a value of rcount = 0,733 with rtable = 0,291 at the level of confidence of 95%. Thus the calculated value is greater than the rtable value, so the correlation is very significant. Test the hypothesis with the t test obtained tcount = 7.148 with ttable 1.680 at the confidence level of 95%.Keywords: Leadership, Principal, Teacher Performance Results

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by using the make a match learning model on the subject of changes in class VII material in Sibabangun 2 Public Middle School. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with two groups pre-test and post-test research designs. The population of this study was all class VII students, amounting to three classes. From the data analysis for the experimental class, pre-tests (46.50 ± 8.53) and post-tests (81.5 ± 7.85) were obtained. In the control class, pre-tests (32.7 ± 9.54) and post-tests were obtained (64.2 ± 11.41). Both data are normally distributed. The results of testing hypotheses using the one-party t test at = 0.05 and dk = 48 obtained tcount> ttable or 4.513> 2.154 then Ha is accepted, Improving student learning outcomes after being given treatment of the make a match learning model is better than conventional learning on the subject discussion of Material Changes.Keywords: Make a Match, Learning Outcomes, Learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) To increase learning interest and completeness of learning outcomes by applying the method of discussion and presentation in class XI IPS-1 Bagan Sinembah 1 High School. This research was carried out in the classroom including classroom action activities (PTK) in the form of initial reflection activities and conducting observations to identify problems that occur in the classroom, planning learning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. The PTK research findings are: 1) Student learning outcomes in cycle I of 40 students there were 26 students who completed or around (65%) and 14 students who did not complete or around (35%), with an average of 73.8; 2) Student learning outcomes in cycle II of 40 students there were 36 students who completed or around (90%) and 4 students who did not complete or around (10%), with an average of 79.87. It can be concluded that the application of discussion and presentation learning methods can increase student interest and learning outcomes in Class XI IPS-1 Bagan Sinembah 1 High School District. Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to improve PKn learning outcomes of class III students by using the Inquiri Method The study was conducted at the 168060 Public Elementary School in Tebing Tinggi City. With the subject of the action of 1 teacher and the recipient of the action are class III students totaling 35 people. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle using procedures, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The hypothesis in PTK is: Through the application of the Cooperative learning model with the inquiry method, the learning achievements of class III students in PKn subjects can be improved. The evaluation results prove that after the first cycle of action the learning outcomes of new students reach 54.28% with an average of 64.62 while the second cycle reaches 85.71% with an average of 75.71 while the percentage of student activity in the first cycle reaches 50 , 86%, overall the second cycle increased by 43.75% with attainment of 94.61%.Keywords: Inquri Method, Learning Outcomes, Student Activity Increases

Abstract

This study aims to describe the availability of IT-based learning media in Deli Serdang District High School. This study uses a type of quantitative research with descriptive methods. the population is all Se-regency district biology teachers. The subjects in this study were biology teachers in class XI. From the results of the questionnaire regarding the completeness of IT-based learning media for Tanjung Morawa 1 Public High School, Percut Seituan 1 Public High School, and 1 Pancur Batu Public High School obtained a percentage of 55.56% and for Namorambe 1 Public High School, Bangun Purba 1 Public High School and Public High School 1 Galagng obtained a percentage of 44.44%. From the results of the questionnaire regarding the condition of IT-based learning media for Namorambe 1 Public High School amounting to 11.11%, for State High School 1 Percut Sei Tuan, Galan 1 High School and Panacur Batu 1 High School at 55.56%, for Tanjung Morawa 1 Public High School and Bangun Purba 1 Public High School at 33.33%.Keywords: Media, Information Technology, Implementation
