Abstract

Subjects were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 5 Tanjung Morawa Academic Year 2015/2016 the number of students as many as 34 people. This study consisted of two cycles. In cycle I spent 3 meetings and the second cycle spent 2 meetings. The instrument used was a test and non-test. Mechanical tests students' ability to write text recount the form of a written test on each cycle, while the non-test techniques using instruments of observation of student activity during learning. The results showed an increased ability to write text recount of students learning English in the first cycle and the second cycle. Once the act is done in two cycles recount text writing ability of students has increased with the average - average grade in the first cycle obtained 69,41dengan success percentage 58.82% while the average - average grade on the second cycle was obtained 75.58 with a 85.29% success persentase , Similarly, the results of nontest namely an increase in development activity of students during the learning takes place, it is seen from almost all indicators of student activity has been achieved. Key Words: Learning Model PICTURE and PICTURE, Text Recount

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca siswa dan hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan media gambar dan kartu kata pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.Dari pretes diketahui hasil belajar rata-rata siswa 54,24  dengan perolehan nilai tertinggi 70 dan nilai terendah 40. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari formatif siklus I dan formatif siklus II  rata-rata 66,96 menjadi 79,69. Ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 60,60% dan pada siklus II sebesar 100%.Peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam setiap siklus I aktivitas siswa yang paling dominan adalah menulis / membaca yaitu 33% naik menjadi 34% pada siklus II. Aktivitas mengerjakan LKS 27% pada siklus 1 dan 11.Bertanya pada teman 17% meningkat menjadi 18%.Bertanya pada guru 13% pada siklus 1 dan siklus11.Yang tidak relepan dengan KBM 10% menurun menjadi 8%. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn di kelas 7-1 SMP Negeri 5 Tebing Tinggi Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Action Research) dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Konstruktivisme. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Dan alat yang digunakan  dalam pengumpulan data adalah tes ulangan harian dan lembar observasi untuk siswa dan peneliti. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 7-1 SMP Negeri 5 Tebing Tinggi dengan jumlah 32 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran Konstruktivisme dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn dikelas 7-1 SMP Negeri 5 Tebing Tinggi. Kata Kunci : Permainan Simulasi, PPKn, Hasil belajar

Abstract

This study deals with the analysis of Denotative and Connotative meaning on the Jakarta Post article. The objectives of the study was to find out the types of meaning used in Jakarta Post Article, to find out the types of the dominant meaning used on Jakarta post article and to explain the meaning of the most dominant types used on Jakarta Post article.This study was conducted by applying descriptive qualitative method. The data were taken from Jakarta Post Article, which published from October 2017, November 2017, and December 2017. The finding showed that total of Denotative meaning is 88 (63,3%) and total of Connotative meaning is 51 (36,6%) that is found from 6 articles. Its hope that the result of this study will be useful to everyone who wants to study meaning Jakarta Post Article.Keywords: Denotative Meaning, Connotative Meaning, Descriptive Qualitative Design.

Abstract

This study aimed to increase the learning outcomes by applying problem based laerning in class 4th  SDN 13 IV Koto Aur Malintang. The subjects of this study amounted to 20 students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The data collected in this study were observational data of lesson plan, student and teacher activities in learning and test results. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate an increase in learning outcomes. This was show from cycle I, II and III. The activities has increased compared to the pre-cycle. The results students activities meet the criteria for success of action, name ly the success of the learning process by students is said to be good, if every aspect of the observation sheet students all come up with information that has been carried out well and the average value of students is ≥ 70 and increases each cycle. Thus, the application of problem based learning can increase the learning outcomes in learning in grade IV of SDN 13 IV Koto Aur Malintang.Keywords: problem based learning, student learning outc

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe writing of this article was distributed by the author's observations with regard to the use of the word diction in term paper writing. The article is titled “201CPenggunaan Diction in the writing Paper on Students majoring in accounting education in the regular class B 2011”. The writing is also effected by the author's curiosity towards the knowledge and ability of students in its diction in term paper writing term paper, either individual or group papers. It is also given that the student who is always dealing with paper writing in courses. In the writing of the paper, authors of papers should be able to choose and place the appropriate word to be used in writing the paper. Things that are going to be sosotan the author of this research in the mini. The object in this research was a paper written by University students majoring in accounting education in the regular class B Faculty of Economics State University of Medan. The paper in question was completed by a working group or individual. The purpose of this research is the mini-writing to find out how the level of proficiency in the use of diction student in the writing of term papers. The Data collected by the author with regard to the writing of this research comes from the mini papers completed by students majoring in accounting education B.Key Words: Papers, Students, Diction.

Abstract

This study aims to identify learning outcomes through the media used by students, focus student knowledge to determine the contribution of media in their learning, improve student expertise / knowledge, and provide opportunities for students to become innovative teachers. This research method applies descriptive qualitative data analysis and comparative quantitative. The research data was measured through test and non-test instruments. The research sample was FKIP students majoring in Indonesian and English through 2 general subjects, namely learning media and educational statistics. The results of the study have shown that the learning outcomes of the two majors do not show a significant difference. Furthermore, 24 questionnaire items showed that social media contributed more to student learning activities than audiovisual media. On the other hand, the observations show that students are more likely to behave negatively during research activities. Students feel uncomfortable if learning activities are dominated by media. Plus the imposition of online learning which requires virtual learning activities. So this research concludes that the existence of the media will be increasingly felt if it is collaborated with other relevant learning methods.Keywords: Media, Learning, Existence, FKIP Students

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode eksperimen terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar Sains, pokok bahasan sifat-sifat cahaya pada siswa kelas V A SD Negeri  101774 Sampali. Sebelum pemberian tindakan penelitian melihat hasil belajar siswa ketika mengadakan observasi khususnya pada pokok bahasan sifat-sifat cahaya. Dari 37 siswa yang mencapai tingkat ketuntasan sebanyak 1 orang atau 2,70% dan sebanyak 36 siswa atau 97,29% belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar yang diharapkan. Yang mana nilai rata-rata perkelasnya sebesar 38,10. Berdasarkan hasil observasi sebelum mengadakan penelitian tersebut, peneliti berupaya melakukan tindakan yang mana untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Dari pos test yang diadakan pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 61,6 dengan tingkat belajar secara klasikal sebanyak 15 siswa (40,54%). Berdasarkan hasil pos test I, penelitian lebih memperhatikan ke penggunaan metode eksperimen. Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut dipadukan kerja kelompok serta pengerjaan soal latihan. Setelah pemberian tindakan pada siklus II dari 37 siswa diperoleh tingkat ketuntasan sebanyak 33 siswa (89,18%) dan sebanyak 4 siswa (10,81%). Dari hasil observasi sebelum siklus, siklus I dan siklus II diperoleh hasil bahwa menggunakan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yang pada khususnya pada pokok bahasan sifat-sifat cahaya. Hasil ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya hasil peningkatan belajar secara klasikal mulai dari siklus I sampai dengan siklus II atau pos test II sebesar 48,64%. Hal ini berarti bahwa model pembelajaran Metode Eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V-A SDN No. 101774 Sampali.   Kata kunci: Sains, sifat-sifat cahaya, metode eksperimen

Abstract

ABSTRAKJenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Seni Rupa dari angkatan 2013 sampai dengan angkatan 2015. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 45 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket model Skala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan komputer program SPSS versi 17. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar berkontribusi sebesar 44,56%, lingkungan tempat tinggal berkontribusi sebesar 40,97%, dan motivasi belajar dan lingkungan tempat tinggal secara bersama-sama berkontribusi sebesar 27,47% terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa. Selanjutnya pencapaian skor variabel motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa berada pada kategori cukup yaitu 79,99%, sedangkan variabel lingkungan tempat tinggal terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa berada pada kategori cukup juga yaitu 64,42% dari skor ideal. Kata kunci : Motivasi Belajar Lingkungan Tempat Tinggal dan  Hasil Belajar

Abstract

The aim of the research are (1) to know an influence on the development of Adobe-Flash multimedia programs on the ability of students to improve vocabulary skills in English. (2)  to find the percentage of the influence of the development of multimedia programs on the ability of students to improve vocabulary skills in English. This research is an experimental research. The program implementation technique for this research is a preliminary test used to measure students' vocabulary abilities of the material being taught while the final test is carried out to determine student learning outcomes after being treated using Multimedia-based Object-Oriented Programming (AdobeFlash) learning methods in English.  Keywords: Multimedia-Based Learning Method, Vocabulary Skills, English.
