Abstract

The aim of this study; (1) to determine the effect simultaneously leadership on human resource development in the scope of the Secretariat of the Regional Representatives Council of North Mamuju regency; (2) to determine the effect of partially leadership to the development of human resources in the scope of the Secretariat of the Regional Representatives Council of North Mamuju regency. Leadership theory developed using olehHersey and Blanchard in Gibson et al. (2010: 34), while the development of human resources using the theory of Armstrong (2006: 535). This type of research is quantitative descriptive and verification approach. This study population pegawaidi scope of the Secretariat of the Regional Representatives Council of North Mamuju regency numbering 70 people and drawn using census to 69 respondents because the leadership is not included in the sample. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and documentation, while the technique of data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results showed; (1) the influence of the simultaneous leadership on human resource development in the scope of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives District North Mamuju determined by saying (telling), sell (selling), participate (participating), and delegates (delegating), with much influence 62 , 1% and a degree of association "strong"; (2) The partial effect of leadership on human resource development in the scope of the Secretariat of the Regional Representatives Council of North Mamuju regency is determined by the dimensions of said (telling) a significant effect on the development of human resources; dimensions selling (selling) a significant effect on the development of human resources; dimensional participate (participating) significantly affects the development of human resources; and dimensions delegate (delegating) significantly affects the development of human resources

Abstract

The objectives of this researchare: (1) to know and analyze the effectscustomer value on customer satisfaction to use smartphone Samsung Galaxy series in Palu City, (2) to know and analyze the effectscustomer value on customer loyalty, (3) to know and analyze the effectscustomer satisfaction on customer loyalty. This is a descriptive causal research to investigate interrelationships among customer value, satisfaction and loyalty involving 220 respondents that have been selected using purpose sampling technique. Based on the results of Structural Equation Modeling, it shows that: (1) customer value performs significant effect on customer satisfaction; (2) customer value does not perform significant effect oncustomer loyalty; (3) customer satisfaction performs significant effect on customer loyaltyto use smartphone Samsung Galaxy series in Palu City.

Abstract

Mastery of teacher competence is a set of capabilities that must mark the teacher in order to realize their performance appropriately and effectively. Competence in this case that the professional and pedagogical influence on teacher performance. In this study aimed to analyze the effects of both the professional competence of teachers and pedagogical competence of teachers on teacher performance at MAN in the city of Palu. To analyze the quantitative, descriptive analysis was used, which outlines the respondent's age, gender,  the length of service and class as well as the competence of teachers affect the performance guru. Whereasto determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable,  the namely quantitative analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The independent variable of professional competence and pedagogical teacher jointly significant effect on the performance of teachers in Madrasah Aliyah in Palu. Partially professional competence variables significantly influence the performance of teachers in Madrasah Aliyah in Palu, while the pedagogical competence not significant effect on the performance of teachers in Madrasah Aliyah in Palu. The results of the regression coefficient (b) indicate that the independent variable professional competence of the dominant influence on the performance of teachers in Madrasah Aliyah in Kota Palu.

Abstract

The local government issued a policy on the establishment of investigation committees who are in charge of supervising the pesticide provision, distribution, use of fertilizers and pesticides in a coordinated way between the center and the regions, between relevant agencies in field of fertilizers and pesticides in the use and distribution of pesticides. This study aims at finding out the description of the evaluation of pesticide control policies in District Sigi. This type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive research method. The informants are Pesticides Control Commission and Chairman of Farmers Group in District Sigi consisting of 5 people. The research result indicates that of the six indicators of policy implementation evaluation, there are two indicators which become problem and should be considered in the implementation of policy implementation namely effectiveness that is considered not running effectively based on a comparison between input and output as well as the efficiency, the amount of efforts that have been made yet it is still not satisfactory. In terms of efficiency, many efforts have been made but it is still not satisfactory. Observation results prove that the groups of farmers still need direction in the use of pesticides. By looking at the results of this research, it is expected in order to implement a policy, we should pay attention to the effectiveness and efficiency so that the program has been created and efforts have been conducted are able to run well and give a positive impact as well as to overcome the existing problems in the field.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is an important aspect in improving the quality of service so that the service can be received with optimal level of satisfaction. Quality is the core of institutional survival, which means that the survival of an institution is determined by the quality of its products. The movement of the quality revolution through an integrated quality management approach becomes a demand that should not be ignored. The movement aims to improve the quality of products on an ongoing basis for the interests of stakeholders. The study aims to determine the influence of service quality includes: physical evidence, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and certainty simultaneously and partially to the satisfaction of Mandiri Mitra Ampana Branch customers. The result of multiple linear regressions is concluded that the quality of service namely physical evidence, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and certainty, simultaneously and partially significant effect on customer satisfaction of Mandiri Mitra Usaha Branch Ampana.

Abstract

The Influence of Profitability, Leverage and Liquidity on Food and Baverages Industries’ Stock Price in Indonesia Stock Exchange This research is conducted to examine the influence of profitability, leverage and liquidity on Food and  Baverages Industries’ Stock Price in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009 to 2012. The population consists of 12 food and beverages industries in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2012. By using purposive sampling method, the study selects 9 companies. The data is analyzed by murtiple linear regression and f-test is used to fetermine the reliability of the study with level of significance 5 %. The results slow that profitability, leverage and liquidity simultaneously affect the stock price. Partially, profitability affects the stock price positively and significantly, while leverage and liquidity have insignificantly on the stock price.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine and analyze the growth of local tax, regional retributions, and local revenues as well as regional tax contributions and local retributions in increasing local revenues in Parigi Moutong Regency. Type of study is descriptive. Informants consist of 8 officials from the office of local revenues, the office of transportation, communication, and informatics, the office of industrial and trade, and the office of agriculture and livestock. The result finds that: 1) realization of regional tax revenues shows an increase during the 5-year budget, but the growth in fluctuating; 2) realization of local revenues increased in fiscal year 2011 to 2013 but decreased significantly in fiscal year 2014-2015 with a negative growth; 3) local revenue continue to increase and the growth is flunctuating; 4) contribution of local tax to increase local revenues shows a downward trend with less criteria.

Abstract

Abstract The main focus of the research is bureaucracy behavior. The research aims at finding out bureaucracy behavior at district office Parigi Barat of Parigi Moutong Regency. Theory used was from Miftah Thoha formulated in 5 aspects, as the main requirement of behavior achievement success, namely: ability, needs, trust, experience and expectation. This research employed a qualitative method. The informant was determined through purposive sampling. The data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. The techniques of data analysis were data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion (verification). The results reveal that bureaucracy behavior at district office Parigi Barat of Parigi Moutong Regency have not been felt and conducted as it should be by the apparatus of bureaucracy of district office Parigi Barat. From 5 aspects observed, three of them have not been done, namely ability, needs and trust. On experience aspect, evaluation given by the leader then it would make the apparatus pleased to work. In addition, on expectation aspect that it truly gives positive result even though there is still a bit of friction of bureaucracy. Meanwhile, three previous aspects were not good. On ability aspect, it gives a disappointed result where the absence or inactive of apparatus were still low and it impacted to individual behavior. On needs aspect, it was not fully fulfilled particularly on organic officers, whereas on trust aspect there are still any officers who did not understand their duty and function as bureaucracy apparatus so it would distract the improvement of behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational commitment, work motivation and work experience on the performance of temporary employees at the health centers in Morowali Regency. Through purposive sampling, this research selects 84 temporary employees in three health centers that are : Bahomotefe, Bahonsuai and Laantula Jaya, as respondents. The result of multiple linear regressions test show that : 1) organizational commitment, work motivation and work experience simultaneously have positive and significant influence on the performance of temporary employees; 2) organizational commitment positively influences the performance of temporary employees, but insignificant; 3) work motivation positively influences the performance of temporary employees, but insignificant; 4) work experience positively and significanly influences the performance of temporary employees; 5) work experience has dominant influence on temporary employees’ performance.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1) to determine and analyze the simultaneous influence of transformational leadership, motivation, and financial compensation on civil servants satisfaction in The Office of Public Works in Morowali; 2) to determine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership on civil servants satisfaction in The Office of Public Works in Morowali; 3) to determine and analyze the influence of motivation on civil servants satisfaction in The Office of Public Works in Morowali; 4) to determine and analyze the influence of financial compensation on satisfaction of civil servants in The Office of Public Works in Morowali. The type of this research is explanatory that shows the influence between variables by involving 55 respondents who are selected through census method. Based on multiple linear regressions test, it is concluded that: 1) transformational leadership, motivation, and financial compensation simultaneously influence civil servants satisfaction; 2) transformational leadership positively and significantly influence civil servants satisfaction; 3) motivation positively and significantly influence civil servants satisfaction; 4) financial compensation positively and significantly influence civil servants satisfaction.
