Abstract

AbstracThe objective of the research is to know how the employees’ work motivation at Bureau of Academics Students Affairs and Planning (BAKP) Tadulako University. The writer applies descriptive qualitative research method and needs hirarki theory (Abraham Maslow), namely: (1) basic human needs, (2) safety needs, (3) social needs, (4) reward needs, and (5) self actualization needs.The informants of the research are employees’ at Bureau of Academics Students Affairs and Planning (BAKP) Tadulako University. The data of the research are primary data. The technique of data collection are interview, observation, and documentation. Then, the data are analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. From the results of the research, the writer concludes that employees’ basic needs at Bureau of Academics Students Affairs and Planning (BAKP) Tadulako University is fulfilled. But, in safety needs, social needs, reward needs, self actualization is not fulfilled yet. Because all these indicators is not running well as expected and it caused low on employees’ work motivation in working.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze the implementation of good Corporate governance policy implemented in the PT Bank Sulteng and its effect to the performance achievement as the public bank, as well as factors that effected the implementation policy. The study was conducted using combination method of Concurrent embedded to describe the result of the study. The qualitative data collection employed observation, documentation, and interview, while the quantitative data collection was conducted using questionnaire distributed to 35 respondents determined through purposive sampling. Both data were used to investigate four variables encompassing communications, resources, disposition, and bureaucracy structure. The result analysis of this study revealed that the implementation of good corporate governance policy at PT Bank Sulteng was not sufficiently conducted that affected toward financial performance of PT Bank Sulteng which could not be achieved optimally and even significantly decreased from year 2010 to 2011, the design and implementation of communication elements, disposition, and Resources in relation to the principles of good corporate governance, i.e. transparency, accountability, responsibility, and fairness, were not well implemented; while the element of bureaucracy structure had been well implemented. Factors that affected the less optimal implementation of the policy were the apparatus attitude, leadership management style, and the affected of shareholder that weakening the bank management.

Abstract

The type of this research was quantitative, with survey approach. The samples of this research amounted to 56 respondents.The sample size determination was based on the opinion of Arikunto (2002: 107), if the subjectsare less than a hundred, it is better to take them all. Thus, in this study the entire population was sampled. Data were analyzed using simple regression. The results showed the positive relationship between employee motivation and work productivity at Singgani PHC of Palu City, but when viewed from the value of the variables correlation, it was includedto enough category. Thus, it meant thatemployee motivation has relationship towork productivity at Singgani PHC of Palu City. The coefficient of determination was 0,504. This showed that the ability of employee motivation in influencing work productivity amounted to 50.4%.Employee motivation had positive or same-direction relationship towork productivity, for the regression coefficient was positive. Each unit of increase in employee motivation would result in 50.4 units of increase in work productivity. Likewise any unit of drop in employee motivation wouldresult in50.4 units of decline in work productivity.

Abstract

The research aims to explore and analyze simultaneous and partial effects of local revenue, general allocation fund, and special allocation fund on fund equity. The sample consists of 11 regencies/cities in Central Sulawesi that is taken by using nonprobability sampling technique, The method of analysis is descriptive with multiple linier regressions analysis. The results show that the growth of local revenue in 3-year budget is higher than the growth of general allocation fund, special allocation fund and fund equity. Simultaneous test indicates that local revenue, general allocation fund and special allocation fund have positive and significant effects on fund equity. Partial test shows that local revenue, general allocation fund, and special allocation fund partially have significant effects on fund equity in 11 regencies/cities in Central Sulawesi. Coefficient determinant with Adjusted R-Square value of 0,361 shows that 36,10% of fund equity is affected by local revenue, general allocation fund, and special allocation fund,while the remaining value of 63,90% is affected by other variables that are not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to reveal the evaluation of prostitution control in Palu based on the Local Regulation Number 21, 1998, and to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors of the growing prostitution practices in Palu based on the policy evaluation model by William N Dunn using these aspects: 1) effectiveness, 2) efficiency, 3) Adequateness, 4) Equality, 5) Responsiveness, and 6) Precision. This is a qualitative research. There were 7 informants taken purposively. These research shows that the implementation of the local regulation number 21, 1998 concerning the prohibition of prostitution acts and practices in Palu City was not optimal due to the fact that: 1) the team intended to control the prostitution did not work effectively, 2) the control of prostitution was not fair because of only focusing on prostitutes, not controlling the prostitution-related workers such as pimps and others. The inhibiting factors have made it less optimal such as the personnel was not strict in providing the punishment, the police persons and the city guards were not serious in doing theirs jobs and operational cost was insufficient.

Abstract

This research uses theory of Thompson and McEwen (2006), Bargaining (bargaining), Kooptasi (cooptation), and the Coalition (the coalition), it can be concluded that the bargaining factor development programs as a result of "reses" and "musrenbang" for political policy formulated budget year 2017 lasted "less good" that give impact on the lack of consistency of development programs that have been the aspiration of the community.Bargaining program development is alternative in result because of lack of funding a GRANT solution at the time. Then the factor cooptation and coalition  are not integral part of the political policy formulation of the local budget (APBD) in 2017. Local Legislative (DPRD) and local government Sigi County each have run task  and function based on the Act. It's just that accommodate various suggestion and aspiration into depth because of limited fund, the impact was less public confidence toward local government and local legislative Sigi County. This resulted in a lack of public trust in the Sigi regency in any  budget formulation policy.

Abstract

The reconstruction results shall be stated  in reconstruction report completed with photos of acts demonstrated during the reconstruction. The photos pertaining to be integral parts and inseparable from reconstruction report are often adopted by the investigators to investigate certains crimes. The research question was how reconstruction existence in a criminal case could support evidences contained a police investigation report and what their hindrances were. The research was supposed to identify the capacity of reconstructions in a criminal case to strengthen crime evidences declared in a police investigation report was and their hindrances were. It was socio-legal research , i.e.:a legal and non legal oriented research to study the mechanisme of  both legal and non legal aspect in the society. The reconstructions detailed in the  reconstruction report shall serve as supplements to complete a police a police investigations report certains criminal cases to disclose material truths in a crime proofing as basis for sentencing a verdict. The hindrances arise when reconstruction are based on result of presumption from unprovable material truth resources of investigation, instead of evidences factually found in an investigation.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify and analyze the implementation of the policy of spatial plans in North Mamuju regency. This type of research is qualitative. The informants are implementing policies Spatial Planning in the North Mamuju regency consisting of the Department of Housing and Spatial Planning Agency for the Development of Regional and PTSP and Investment, as well as the Agency One Stop Services and Investment. Collecting data using observations, interviews, and documentation, while menggunakanreduksi data analysis, data presentation, drawing conclusions / verification. Research results menunjukkanbahwaimplementasi policy Spatial Planning in the District of North Mamuju not running optimally, due to the content of policy (policy content) in terms of the resources still experiencing problems due to inadequate in terms of both quality and quantity, although in impelemtasinya already involve the target group, benefits to the community, provide the degree of change, demonstrating the accuracy of the decision-making implementation, and has introduced a procedure policy through socialization, while in terms of context implementation (environmental implementation) such as power, interests and strategies of the actors involved already indicated, the characteristic institutions and authorities have a strong commitment run policy, but the level of compliance and responsiveness of the public remains low as the community development process that is carried out individually or in groups do not yet have legal permits and land into a business most people are not destined for the policy.

Abstract

This research aims to know and analyze the effect of empowerment and information system variables, simultaneously and partially on employee’s performance at PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Central Sulawesi. The Population of the research was the Officers at PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Central Sulawesi Officer were 31 persons. Analysis method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression. Based on The data analisys, regression equation shows that Y =  0,281 +  0,775X1 + 0,261X2. The results show that Empowerment and Information System simultaneously performs positive  and  significant  effect  on  the  performance  Officers.  Partially,  empowerment  performs positive and significant effects on officers performance with regression coefficient of 0,775; information  system  performs  positive  and  significant  effects  on  officers  performance  with regression coefficient off 0,261.  Determination coefficient wich is indicated by adjusted R-Square 0,724 indicated that 72,40% lecturer’s performance has been effected by empowerment and information system, meanwhile the rest has been effected by other variables wich are not investigated in this research.

Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyze the influence of managerial ownerships institutional ownership, growth, liquidity, and size on company’s valus in textile and garment industry listed on Indonesia stock exchange 2009-2016. Population consist of 19 textile and garment companies and sample 14 companies selected througth purposive random sampling method. Analysis technique is multiple linear regressions to obtain comprehensive description between variables. Test results show that managerial ownership partially have positive but insignificant inflence on company’s value, institutional ownerships and liquidity have postive and significant influence on company’s value, while growth and size have negative and insignificant influence on company’s value. The ability of variables topredict the value of the company 1s 29,2% while the remaining 70,8% influenced by other that are no studied.
