Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the effects of fee based income and intellectual capital(value added capital employed, value added human capital and structural capital value added) on profitability at banking industries in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study employs 16 samples out of 33 banking industries which have been selected using purposive sampling method. Analysis method used in this study is multiple linier regression. The results shows that: (1) fee based income, value added capital employed, value added human capital, structural capital value added simultaneously perform significant effects on profitability at banking industries in Indonesia Stock Exchange, (2) fee based income performs positive but not significant effect on profitability at banking  industries  in  Indonesia  Stock  Exchange,  (3)  value  added  capital  employed  performs positive and significant effect on profitability at banking industries in Indonesia Stock Exchange, (4) value added human capital performs positive and significant effect on profitability at banking industries in Indonesia Stock Exchange, (5) structural capital value added performs negative and not significant effect on profitability at banking industries in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This thesis was to identify  the Legal Politics of Law Number  6 Year 2014 Related with Customary Rigths  in Indonesia. It was a juridicial normative research with legal materials as sources of study. The results of the research showed that the Legal Politics Of Law Number 6 Year 2014 Related with Customary Rights should have been referring to the prevailing laws and jurisprundence  so that the development of democracy in the territory of Republik of Indonesia will be better and consistent with the autonomy right in the villages so that the legal politics and governmentship are acceptable to all levels of society.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to know and analyze the effect of service quality on corporate image,2) to know and analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction. 3) to know and analyze the effect of corporate image on customer satisfaction, 4) to know and analyze the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. This is an explanatory research to explain the relationships among investigated variables involving 150 customer of PT. Hadji Kalla Palu that have been selected using purposive technique sampling. Based on the hypotheses testing using of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), it concludes that: 1) service quality performs positive and significant effect on corporate image;2) service quality performs positive but not significant effect on customer satisfaction; 3) corporate image performs positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction; 4) customer satisfaction performs positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of Palu City as a center of growth towards the economic growth of Parigi Moutong District, Donggala District, and Sigi District as buffer zones of Palu City. The study also seeks the performance of the rapidly growing pre-eminent sectors in Palu City that affects the growth of the economic sectors in the hinterland regions. Data collecting method uses literature study on secondary data based on PDRB per capita of province and districts in Central Sulawesi. The results find that: 1) based on the completeness of the infrastructure and effectiveness of the coverage of infrastructure services,Palu City is defined a growth center and ParigiMoutong Districts, Donggala District, and Sigi District as its buffer zones; 2) based on Gravity Analysis, Donggala District is a hinterland area that has the closest spatial interaction with the growth center; 3) based on shift share analysis, it reveals that the leading sector in Palu City indirectly influences the economic growth in the region.

Abstract

This research aims at identifying and expalaining the implementation of Critical Land Management Programme and Community Based Water Resources (PLKSDA-BM) in Nupabomba Village, Tanan Tovea District, Donggala. The method used is deskriptive qualitatif method and the techniques of the data collection were observations, interviews, and documentations. Five informants were taken by using purposif sampling technique. The result shows what the implementation of Critical Land Management Programme and Community Based Water Resources (PLKSDA-BM) in Nupabomba Village, Tanan Tovea District, Donggala is still not effective. Through an implementation approach from Edward III, the result shows the that the implementation of the program is affected by several aspects. 1)The communication aspect of the critical land and water resources Programme in the community based Nupa Bomba village, Tanan Tovea district to all stakeholders has been carried out poperly. 2) The resource aspect of the programme is inadequate yet especially the land piracy equipments procurement. 3)The aspect of Disposition / Attitude of implementers toward the Programme done by the person in charge, companion and program implementers has been implemented well. 4) Structural aspects of bureaucracy in the implementation of the program have been well coordinated

Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyze simultaneous influence ofteamwork and work culture on employees’performance at Titian Budi Luhur Foundation in Parigi Moutong District. Method of analysis is quantitative approach with multiple linear regressions. Population and sample involve 49 employees of Titian Budi Luhur foundation in Parigi Moutong District that focus on two business units namely PT. BPR Binartha Luhur and Budi Luhur Saving and Loan Cooperative.The study finds that teamwork and work culturesimultaneously and partially influence employees’ performance in  PT. BPR Binartha Luhur and Budi Luhur Saving and Loan Cooperative significantly withR2 value of 0,583 or58,3 %. This show that independent variables of teamwork and work culture  influence the employees’ performance of 58,3% while 41,7% influenced by other variables that are not studied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the influence (1) pedagogical competence of teachers for teaching social studies in SMP Palu, (2) the professional competence of teachers for teaching social studies in SMP Palu, and (3) pedagogical competence and professional teachers to Junior High School social studies lesson in Palu. The method used is survey with descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques. The population in this study are all teachers IPS certified in Palu City Junior High School, as many as 116 people. Number of samples are 58 people using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques using Likert scale model questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data in this study using Normality Test Instruments, Test Analysis Coefficient of Determination, Validity Test Instruments, Test Reliability Test Instruments and Descriptive. Meanwhile, the first and second hypotheses using simple regression test, and the third hypothesis testing using multiple regression test. The results showed third-normally distributed variables to test for normality using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test and Analysis of reliability for variables X1, X2 and Y calculated by Cronbach alpha formula. While on the significance test using the t test and F test at significance level with a value of α = 0.05. The results showed that: First, there is positive and significant correlation between pedagogical competence of teachers to learning, with a linear regression equation Y = 23.893 + 0,719X1 with a percentage of 38.6% significance. Secondly, there is a positive and significant impact on the professional competence of learning with linear regression equation Y = 11.032 + 0,954X2 with a percentage of 29.2% significance. Third, there is a positive and significant influence jointly between guruterhadap professional pedagogical competence and learning, with the regression equation y = -1 842 + 0,534X1 + 0,509X2 with the percentage significance of Y = 17.6% (43.8% -38.6 %).

Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1) to test and analyze the influence of leadership style on work motivation in BAPPEDA of Morowali Regency; 2) to test and analyze direct influence of leadership styles on civil servants’ performance; 3) to test and analyze the influence of motivation on civil servants’ performance; 4) to test and analyze indirect influence of leadership styles on civil servants’ performance by using work motivation as an intervening variable. The type of this reseach is casual analysis that shows influential relationship between variables through the involvement of 39 respondents who are selected through purposive sampling method. Based on multiple linear regressionsanalysis test, it shows that leadership styles positively and significantly influence work motivation of civil servants in The Agency of Planning, Research, and regional Development of Morowali Regency; Leadership styles directly influence civil servants’ performance positively and significantly; work motivation positively and significantly influences civil servants’ performance; leadership styles have indirect influence on civil servants’ performance with motivation as intervening variable.

Abstract

The problem in this study was how the patterns of communication, educator competencies, and the availability of facilities and infrastructures; and what factors that influence the implementation of inclusive education policy in Palu City. The purpose of this study was to analyze patterns of communication, educator competencies, and availability of facilities and infrastructures; and factors that influence inclusive education in Palu City. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative research. This study was conducted at Central Sulawesi Department of Education and Culture, particularly at inclusive schools of Palu City. Informants in this study were Head of Special Education and Special Education Service Division (Pendidikan Khusus dan Pendidikan Layanan Khusus – PK-PLK) of Central Sulawesi Department of Education and Culture as key informant, headmasters of inclusive schools, teachers of inclusive schools, and school committees. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentations. The results show that the implementation of inclusive education policy in Palu City was materialized as expected. The existence of regular schools that provide inclusive education was able to provide alternative special education services for children with disabilities that were more affordable for all people of Palu City, either in terms of communication patterns, educator competencies, or availability of facilities and infrastructures. Factors that influence the implementation of the inclusive education policy were communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence of Service Quality toward Society Satisfactory in Realization of UTTP Tool Calibration of Metrology Field at Department of Cooperatives and Small Industry Medium Enterorise and Trade Central Sulawesi Province. The theory of service quality used was from Zeithaml, Valarie A., A. Parasuraman and Leonard L. Berry which consist of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy, whereas the theory of society satisfactory was from Philip Kotler which covers need, wants, and expectations. This research was a survey research with quantitative approach. The population of the research was the owner or the user of UTTP tool calibration that noted in calibration register book from October to November 2011 which numbered 120 persons that drawn using Taro Yamane formula so that the sample became 55 persons. The collection data method covered documentation study and questionnaire. The technique of data analysis used was simple linear regression analysis. The research result showed that there was an influence of service quality toward society satisfactory in UTTP tool calibration of Metrology Field at Department of Coopertives and Small Industry Medium Enterprise and Trade Central Sulawesi Province. This result also showed that the relationship between service quality and society satisfactory was on strong level. The variable descriptive analysis result of service quality showed that from all dimension, the assurance dimension has a strong result particularly on service efficiency assurance, whereas the weak dimension was tangible dimension which was the uncomfortable of service place.
