Abstract

This study aims to know the development and determine the influence of capital adequacy ratio, loan to deposit ratio, non-performing loan, and net interest margin on the profitability of banking companies listed on Indonesian stock exchange in 2010-2014. Its population consist of 32 banking companies; and based on purposive sampling technique, there are 15 companies selected  as the research’s subjects. Technique of analysis is multiple linear regressions analysis. The result shows that loan to deposit ratio and net interest margin partialy has significant influence on profitability, meanwhile capital adequacy ratio and non-performing loan has insignificant influence on profitability. The ability of influence of four indicators towards profitability is 54,9%, and the remining is influenced by other factors that are not stuied.

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) evaluate the policy of animal butchery house at Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Office in Parigi District at Parigi Moutong Regency; and 2) find out the obstacles in the evaluation of animal butchery house at Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Office in Parigi District at Parigi Moutong Regency. This research was done at Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Office of Parigi Moutong Regency by taking 5 informen. This research used the theory proposed by Dunn in Abidin by evaluating the policy from efficiency, profitability, effectiveness, equity and detriments. The result of the research shows that: 1) seeing from the aspects of efficiency, profitability, effectiveness, equity and detriments the evaluation policy applied in Parigi animal butchery house of Parigi Moutong Regency did not run well; and 2) the evaluation policy was not effective due to: a) the lack of socialization on the Regional Regulation No. 20/2005 so that this Animal Butchery House had not been considered necessary by the meat businessmen and the community; and b) the lack of tools and utilities in the house that made the businessmen were not interested in using this facility for their animals.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to investigate and analiyze the effect of leadership style, job satisfaction and organizational commitment simultaneously on personnel performance at Witaponda Subdistrict Head Office, Morowali Regency, (2) to investigate and analyze the effect of leadership style on personnel performance, (3) to investigate and analyze the effect job satisfaction on personnel performance, (4) to investigate and analyze the effect of organizational commitment on personnel performance. This is a descriptive causal research to investigate the interrelationship among variables involving 33 samples which have been determined using census method. Base on the result of multiple linear regression, it is found that : (1) leadership style, job satisfaction and organizational commitment simultaneously perform positive and significant effect on personnel performance at Witaponda Subdistrict Head Office, Morowali Regency, (2) leadership style performs positive and significant effect on personnel performance, (3) job satisfaction perform positive and significant effect on personnel performance, (4) organizational commitment perform positive and significant effect on personnel performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was: 1) to know and analyze simultaneous effects of spiritual quotient, leadership style and incentive toward the performance of Palu Mutiara Airport Officers ; 2) to know and analyze the effect of spiritual quotient toward the performance of Palu Mutiara Airport Officers; 3) to know and analyze the effect ofleadership style toward the performance of Palu Mutiara Airport Officers; 4 )to know and analyze the effect of incentive toward the performance of Palu Mutiara Airport Officers. The population of the research was the officers at Palu Mutiara Airport. Based on the data obtained from Sub Unit of Official Exertion that Palu Mutiara Airport Officer were 156 persons. From the calculation result of Slovin formula usage, the sample obtained was 60 persons with probability sampling technique which one of those is simple random where the names of the officers were randomized based on the working unit. Both primary and secondary data collection were through observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method used to examine the hypothesis of the research. The result showed that:1)Spiritual quotient, leadership style and incentive simultaneously effects positively and significantly toward the performance of Palu Mutiara Airport Officers;2) Spiritual quotient positively and significantly effect toward Palu Mutiara Airport Officers;3) Leadership style positively and significantly effect toward Palu Mutiara Airport Officers;4) Incentive positively and significantly effect toward Palu Mutiara Airport Officers.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of expected family program Program at Social Affair Department in Poso Regency. Family hope program was Government’s policy through the Ministry of Social Affairs to help people who were categorized as self-help groups (keluarga swadaya masyarakat – KSM) to fulfil their health and education needs, and in order that the PKH participants be able to carry out their obligations in accordance with the provisions. In general, the task of implementation theory is to link the public policy goals with the results of Government’s activities. The models which can be used to analyze a policy implementation is the theory of George Edward III to explain the process of policy implementation, namely: 1) Communications, 2) Resources, 3) Dispositions (Implementers’ Attitudes), 4) Bureaucratic Structure.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to determine and analyze the simultaneous impact of rebranding process levels, which includes corporate rebranding, business unit rebranding, and individual products rebranding toward brand equity at Bank Sulteng Branch Office; 2) to determine and analyze the impact of corporate rebranding toward brand equity at Bank Sulteng Branch Office; 3) to determine and analyze the impact of business unit rebranding toward brand equity at Bank Sulteng Branch Office; 4) to determine and analyze the impact of individual products rebranding toward brand equity at Bank Sulteng Branch Office. This research is descriptive, which involves 100 respondents that are selected through proportional random sampling; the sample is selected by with accidental sampling method. The results imply that: 1) rebranding process levels, which includes corporate rebranding, business unit rebranding, and individual products rebranding simultaneously have significant impacts toward brand equity at Bank Sulteng Branch Office; 2) corporate rebranding significantly impacts brand equity at Bank Sulteng Branch Office; 3) business unit rebranding impacts brand equity at Bank Sulteng Branch Office; 4) individual products rebranding significantly impacts brand equity at Bank Sulteng Branch Office.

Abstract

The challenge of development in land sector especially at land survey service, as the result of observation of the research is surveyor in land survey activity in Land Office of Donggala Regency have phenomena indicating low motivation of surveyor so it needs to be observed regarding the motivation of the surveyor which is not maximal. The research aims to describe how work motivation of the surveyor in land survey activity in Land Office of Donggala Regency. This was a qualitative research with 4 informants selected purposively in sampling. The data were collected through triangulation technique covering observation, interveiw, and documentation. The results reveal that the work motivation of surveyor in land survey activity in Land Office of Donggala Regency is categorized good enough based on the analysis of need theory adopted from David Mc Clelland on the best achievement of which can be seen from a sense of (1) responsibility for completing the work according to the workload of each surveyor, the surveyor has been working according to the rules and (2) consider the risk of land survey activity product that can ensure law and have legal effects, (3)the feedback from the leader in coaching, supervision and assessment of the surveyor to provide the best performance, the surveyor has been (4) creative and innovative work in utilizing every opportunity to work effectively and efficiently with information and communication technology, as well as (5) the punctuality and completion of tasks.As for the factors that influence the motivation of the surveyor in land survey activity in Land Office of Donggala Regency is internal factor (individual) of the surveyor, such as age, remaining work period, while the xternal factor is the role of community still low, the distance of location and weather that influence the motivation of the surveyor in providing the best achievement particularly on creative and innovative indicators, as well as the time for completing the task.

Abstract

This study intends to determine and analyze: 1) simultaneous influence of competency and motivation on the performance of family planning field workers in managing the family planning programs in Palu; 2) the influence of competency on the performance of family planning field workers in managing the family planning programs in Palu; 3) the influence of motivation on the performance of family planning field workers in managing the family planning programs in Palu. Population and sample of study cover the family planning field workers who are civil servants and honorary employees of 52 people. Data analysis is multiple linear regressions analysis. The result indicates that competency and motivation simultaneously influence the performance of family planning field workers in managing the family planning programs in Palu of 43,4 %, while the remaining of 56,6 % influenced by other variables that are not studied.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyze the influence of venture capital, working hours, long selling and business locations simultaneously against income market traders Instruction Manonda Palu, 2) analyze the influence of venture capital, working hours, long selling and business location partially on income trader Instruction market Manonda Palu. This research was conducted in the city of Palu, by taking the Presidential Manonda market location which is managed by the Department Perindakop Palu City. This research technique of determining informant set 93 merchants. Data analysis tool used is multiple regression with SPSS 16. The method used is qualitative method that describes the state of the research field. Manonda Presidential Market Dealer profiles are classified by age are generally aged 19 to 50 years, based on religion generally are Muslims, ethnic generally Kaili and Bugis tribe, by region of origin generally derived from Palu city and surrounding region. The results of  this study showed that the relationship between the variables based on the results of multiple regression analysis, simultaneous factor of capital, working hours, working time, and location of the business significantly affect the earnings of traders. Partial variable capital, working hours, working time and location of the business showed a significant effect on the income market traders Instruction Manonda Palu.

Abstract

This research aims at knowing and analyzing the implementation of School Operational Assistance Fund at SMAN 1 Pasangkayu of North Mamuju regency. The method used is qualitative, and the informants of the research were determined purposively to who are deemed to understand the problems investigated. The informants are the Head of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of North Mamuju regency, Head of Section of Secondary Education, the School Committee, students’ parents who received the assistance funds, Principal of SMA 1 Pasangkayu. Type of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was done through observation, interview, and documentation. The results shows that communication is one of the main factors in policy implementation, communication becomes a major pathway for the implementation of each program. Human resources are the main factors that should be possessed by any particular institution or unit both government and non government institutions. Vice versa if the perspectives of the implementers are different from the decision makers, the implementation process of a policy becomes increasingly difficult. And in such cases, implementers will use the flexibility and sometimes in subtle ways inhibit, or will benefit each individual in the process of policy implementation.
