Abstract

Infiltration process is one of the important processes in the hydrological cycle due to infiltration of determining the amount of rain water that seeped into the soil directly. This study aims to obtain mapping potential infiltration and recharge area. The approach used is KINEROS model, where the model was calibrated with field measurements using a turf-tec infiltrometer and tested with NSE statistical methods. Calibration results obtained after trial and error changes on three basic parameters in the model KINEROS, namely K (hydraulic conductivity of the soil), Gs (impulse capillary) and Por (porosity), also on the parameters of the Manning coefficient. After a change of 50% Manning coefficient and 75% value K, Gs and Por, test results obtained NSE = 0.460 which means that the model results are acceptable, and can be followed by a map showing the infiltration rate for and is used to determine the condition of the watershed Bodo.Key words: Infiltration, KINEROS, calibration.

Abstract

Landslides often occur in the Upper Konto sub watershed. To anticipate the future landslide, the landslide susceptibility map was made that show the landslide potential areas. Eight thematic maps as landslide susceptibility formula parameters used to develop a landslide susceptibility map that includes three daily maximum cumulative rainfall, slope, geology rocks, the presence of faults, regolith soil depth, land use, the presence of road infrastructure, and population density. Determination of susceptibility value is the sum of the multiplying of scores for each parameter with the weight of each parameter. Based on the value of vulnerability, landslide susceptibility maps generated from the overlay analysis of the multiplication results of the score and weight of the eighth parameters with the Geographic Information Systems (GIS)program. The results of this study is the potential for landslides in the Upper Konto sub watershed consists of not susceptible at 1.24%, slightly susceptible at 12.12%, moderatelysusceptible 84.17%, and susceptible at 2.38%, so do very vulnerable while there but very small. Landslide control efforts can be divided into short-term treatment with mechanical methods in accordance with the level of susceptibility and long-term treatment with vegetative methods in accordance with the area function and the level of susceptibility.Keyword: potential landslides, landslide susceptibility formula, control efforts

Abstract

The result of the study show the big of the planning debit system SUB 39 and SUB for the five years period each big are 0.0921 m 3 /second and 0.068 m /second. They found 19 drainage those cannot intercept planning debit at SUB 39 and 14 Drainage at SUB 42. Some cause of accident that cannot intercept the planning debit is that the lack of maintenance and getting many kind of rubbish at the drainage canal. The efforts to handle the drainage that are able to intercept planning debit by making new design the canal dimension and planning individual infiltration well.the form of infiltration well was circle with a diameter 1 m and a depth 3 m by 619 pieces off all infiltration well. Beside handling the design also making the handling recommendation totally about the government wisdoms at that region which should taking part of region societies and resembling to the using societies efficiently in keeping the canal of drainage, developing the well absorption at every home also getting permit in standing building.Keyword: Dainage System, Flood, Infiltration well

Abstract

Hulu Batang Gadis Watershed is located in the district of Mandailing Natal province of North Sumatra . The rate of erosion in the watershed upstream Batang Gadis last 3 years has increased , it can be seen from the results of the analysis and calculation of the rate of erosion USLE method which in 2008 amounted to 307 285 tonnes / ha / year , in 2010 amounted to 318 482 tonnes / ha / year , Year 2012 of 385 336 tonnes / ha / year . This indicates an increase in the rate of erosion in 2008 - 2012 at 20:26% .. The rate of soil erosion hazard and criticality criteria of 1.41% Very Light , Light 10.92% , 17.76% Medium , Heavy and Very Heavy 49.59% ,20.32% . The results depend on the amount of sediment erosion in the watershed / sub-watershed .. Currently sediment issues have an impact on the downstream watershed upstream Batang Gadis ie the number of incoming sediment kesaluran irrigation and river silting . One attempt to overcome this problem is by building sediment control in the form of Check Dam . In this research study conducted as the proposed construction of sediment control 33 Check Dam . Successful achievement of development can reduce sediment control sediment 90.91% on average of all the bin capacity Chek Dam , while by means of sediment routing can reduce sediment by 97.39% with the operation of the check dam for 3 years . In addition to building pendali also recommended handling a land conservation treatment with a wide landing area function Buffer Zone 59.28% , Budi Region 4.57% Annual Plants , Cultivation Region Annuals 36.15% . The arrangement of the achievements of the region is a big impact on the land eroded soil erosion is very heavy 20.32% of basin area upstream Batang Gadis be 1.83% .Keyword: Erosion, sedimentation, controle structure, conservation

Abstract

Leachate is the liquid waste as consequence of water which flow into the influx of external water into the embankment of waste / garbage and then rinsed and dissolved the material in the embankment, so it has a variety of organic and inorganic pollutants.Leachate sewage treatment instalation is a the installation that processed waste leachate in order not to contaminate the environment of the river. The negative impact of leachate is to killed an existing biota in of the river, groundwater contamination, especially in the areas where rainfall and high soil water level. This study was conducted at the landfill Supit Urang in the Village Mulyorejo with 19.6 hectares. Waste disposed to Supit Urang landfill approximately ± 400 tons / day, and area of 75% of the total area has been filled with garbage. It has the potential to generate leachate wastewater. Therefore, it is required the leachate treatment waste installation that is storage ponds, consisting of stabilization ponds, aeration ponds and pools maturisasi waste leachate. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of waste leachate treatment facility.The capacity of the reservoir pondswas determined by the discharge of leachate and leachate production. Effectiveness of the sewage treatment plant was determined by reduction in the quality of leachate as decreased content of COD and BOD from the waste dumped in landfill Supit Urang.Result showed that there wasthe leachate discharge obtained 9.43 m3/day and leachate production was 0.8 m3/day. Before entering the waste leachate, the content of COD = 8960 mg / l and BOD 5 = 3968.293 mg / l of leachate treatment plant. Before sewage treatment plants, the content of COD = 298.67 mg / l and BOD = 88.18 mg / l. Thus the effectiveness of the leachate treatment plant, COD and BOD can reduce 97%..From the processing of waste leachate treatment plant already appropriate with the water quality standards according to Keputusan Menteri No. 03 /1991 which includes group III.Keywords: Leachate, leachate treatment sewage instalation, COD and BOD 5

Abstract

Dam failure occured due to overtopping and piping. This can lead to rapid propagatioin of water flow so inundated the downstream of the dam. The purpose of this study was to analyze the various scenarios for the dam break. Dam Break Analysis conducted with Zhong Xing HY21 software. This study conducted the dam break analysis with overtopping and piping scenarios by insterting certain fracture parameters in order to obtain the outflow hydrograph.Gondang Dam Break greatest impact if experienced overtopping with Q Inflow 968,548 m /sec and produce Q Outflow 7671,57 m /sec. Result flood routing water level of the reservoir was located at an elevation of +40,593 (Gondang Dam Crest Elevation +42,00), so assumed the dam crest elevation of + 40,00. Abstract

The forest degradation rate reached 2,83 million ha every year. From the total forest area of 120,5 million ha, about 59 million ha were critical areas. Besides, the critical Watersheds ini Indonesia increased. The watershed conservation efforts had brought motivation to develop the erosion estimation technologies that could assist in solving the erosion rate estimation problems spatially. The study was carried out at Marisa Watershed, Pohuwato Regency of Gorontalo Province. The results showed that the value of erosion rate in Marisa Watershed area was 169,364 ton/ha/year or 14,114 mm/year where the Marisa Watershed total wide was 14.842,5 ha. Whereas the sediment potential was 125,299 ton/year and runoff was 197,779 mm/year. The Erosion Danger Level was 3.654,146 ha (14,71%) hard and 3.353,834 ha (13,50 %) very hard. One of the assumptions why the land erosion rate was very high was because of the misuse of the land and geology condition at Marisa Watershed.To control the erosion rate, focussed to the recommendation of land utilization direction that referred to The Forest - Soil Conservation and Rehabilitation Program (ARHL) and building of 6 check dam. Meanwhile, the land utilization should notice The RTRW and the cooperation between local inhabitant and the government was needed indeed in the soil conservation and land rehabilitation efforts.Key Words: Erosion, Sediment, Run Off, Soil Conservation.

Abstract

Irrigation areas of Kosinggolan which is spread in Dumoga plains has potential broad in 5381 acres and irrigated functional areas 3865 acres at this time. After 28 years in operation Kosinggolan weir discharge decreased that effect on agricultural production. Due to the discharge limitations in Kosinggolan implementing the provision of irrigation water the class system is divided into three planting periods. Linier Optimization and Sensitivity Analysis to the crop pattern has been using Solver facility from Microsoft Excel.Based on the results ofthe conducted optimization analysis obtained extensive results optimum crop rice at dry conditions, condition low, under normal conditions and sufficient conditions: crop rice from 1450 – 3865 acres. While the maximum profit results in dry conditions, under conditions of low, under normal conditions and sufficient conditions: from Rp 11.133.750.357,00 until Rp33,200,350,000,00. For sensitivity analysis results of obtained land area sensitive: in dry conditions between, the low condition, under normal conditionsand the sufficient conditions: from 0–9307 acres.Keywords: irrigation, linier optimization, sensitivity

Abstract

Air adalah sumber kehidupan bagi mahluk hidup yang keberadaannya mutlak diperlukan, dengan bertambah tuanya planet bumi ini telah terjadi pemanasan global yang mengakibatkan berkurangnya jumlah volume air hujan. Pertemuan internasional oleh UNED badan dari PBB pada tahun 1996 mengulas tentang hubungan pengaturan air melalui mekanisme ekonomi.Propinsi Bali dengan luas wilayah sekitar 5.632,86 Km2 dan luas daerah aliran sungai di lokasi Bendungan Titab adalah sebesar 69,54 km2 dengan panjang sungai 25 km. Proyek Bendungan Titab berfungsi untuk penyediaan air irigasi di Saba seluas 1396.40 ha dan Puluran seluas 398.42 ha, serta suplai air baku untuk air minum, pembangkit listrik 3,15 MW.Tujuan dari studi ini adalah memberikan sumbangan pemikiran untuk penetapan dan analisa simulasi harga air bersih yang sesuai dengan ketentuan dan kebutuhan masyarakat pengguna setelah berdirinya proyek Waduk Titab tersebut.Lokasi waduk Titab terletak pada Sub Satuan Wilayah Sungai (Sub SWS) Bali Penida, dan secara administratif termasuk di empat wilayah desa, yaitu Desa Telaga, Desa Ularan, Desa Busungbiu Kecamatan Busungbiu dan Desa Ringdikit Kecamatan Seririt, Kabupaten Buleleng. Luas daerah aliran sungai di lokasi bendungan adalah sebesar 69,54 km2 dengan panjang sungai 25 km.Hasil perhitungan uji kesesuaian metode proyeksi penduduk diambil dengan menggunakan metode eksponensial sebesar 0,921115 karena memiliki angka mendekati +1 dibandingkan metode yang lainnya. Penduduk Kabupaten Buleleng pada tahun 2025 berjumlah sebanyak 2,343,380 jiwa yang akan digunakan sebagai dasar perhitungan kebutuhan air bersih. Kebutuhan air rata–rata yang digunakan adalah kebutuhan air rata rata tahun 2025 dimana sebagai acuan untuk perhitungan BCR yaitu 65,095,932 lt/hari x 5500 (Harga air eksisting maksimum) = Rp 130,680,082,750 (Manfaat air bersih). Dalam perhitungan Benefit Cost Ratio dengan tingkat suku bunga 12% B/C Waduk Titab >1 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa proyek ini layak secara ekonomi, atau lebih tepatnya proyek ini melebihi nilai impas. Dari hasil analisa perbandingan dapat diketahui bahwa harga air mimimum eksisting sebesar Rp 800/m³ dan harga air maksimum sebesar 5500/m³, sedangkan dari hasil simulasi didapat harga air minimum sebesar Rp.982/ m³ dan harga air maksimum sebesar 5695/m³ sehingga didapat bahwa untuk mendapakan nilai B/C > 1 maka pihak pengelola air dapat menerapkan harga air yang sudah di analisa.Ketersediaan air pada musim kemarau sangat terbatas, sehingga perlu dilakukan pendekatan kepada petani agar mau melaksanakan pola tata tanam yang sudah di jadwalkan dan hendaknya pihak-pihak terkait selalu meninjau dan turut serta dalam pemeliharaan Waduk Titab agar waduk dapat beroperasi secara optimal sesuai usia gunanya serta terjaga keefektifitasannya.Kata kunci : simulasi, optimasi, harga air bersih, waduk titab.

Abstract

Di Jaringan Irigasi Prambatan kiri terjadi kekurangan air pada penerapan pola tata tanam eksisting penyebab utama terjadinya kekurangan air tersebut karena adanya penyimpangan dalam pelaksanaan pola tata tanam yang telah ditetapkan , misalnya pada saat musim kemarau yang seharusnya diperuntukkan untuk tanaman polowijo oleh petani diganti menjadi tanaman padi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa luas tanam dan keuntungan yang diperoleh pada kondisi eksisting dan kondisi setelah dioptimasi, sedangkan manfaatnya adalah sebagai informasi bagi instansi terkait dan petani setempat tentang pola tata tanam yang sesuai dan hasilnya maksimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah optimasi pola tata tanam dengan program linier dengan menggunakan pakket program solver. Hasil optimasi dari beberapa alternatif pola tata tanam yang dicoba dipilih alternatif ke II (Padi/Apel - Padi/Palawija/Apel - Padi/Palawija/Apel), karena diperoleh keuntungan yang paling maksimumKata kunci : pola tata tanam, pemberian air irigasi, optimasi program linier
