Abstract

National development requires infrastructure as one of the driving wheel of economic growth. One of the main parts of infrastructure development is the construction of highways. Road construction requires many factors to consider before the development process begins, such as factors of materials, equipment, labor, time and cost. In practice, accurate calculations are needed in determining the required amount of each factor, since a slight mistake can cause losses on the part of the contractor that impact the low quality of the highway. In this research used fuzzy logic (fuzzy logic) as decision maker. Because the workings of fuzzy logic represent the way of human thinking that appears from the outside and contained in the form of words. Fuzzy logic is a logic that has the value of vagueness or fuzzyness between right and wrong. In fuzzy logic theory a value can be true or false at the same time. Fuzzy itself in the language is interpreted as or vague.Fuzzy logic has degrees of membership in the vulnerable 0 to 1. Fuzzy logic used as a pointer to the extent to which the value is true and the extent to which the value is wrong, in contrast to classical logic, a value has only two the possibility of being a member of the set or not. Fuzzy logic can also be used as an alternative decision-making as an easy modern control system. The fuzzy logic used is FIS Takagi-Sugeno because of its more efficient computing, works well for linear techniques, works well for adaptive optimization and ensures continuity of results. In this research will also be developed an application that aims to assist users in analyzing and forecasting the needs of what is required in making a highway construction. Using the Takagi_Sugeno FIS based FIS user interface generated in this research, the resulting performance using Fuzzy Logic is better than the manual calculation, it can be seen from the total cost generated from the calculation method. For calculations using Fuzzy Logic has a total cost of Rp.52.950.009.851 while the results of manual calculations of Rp. 54.840.926.051.

Abstract

Compressive strength is one of the main parameters in the analysis of concrete behavior. In general, the compressive strength of the concrete will be tested in the laboratory using the Uniaxial Compression Test tool. However, it requires a lot of energy and cost and a long time. For that we need an approach with a simulation of numerical methods that is with finite element method using ABAQUS aids program. Based on the results of numerical analysis, it is concluded that the modeling of concrete elements using ABAQUS element finite aids program can be done by creating 3D solid model, using C3D8R element type and discrete rigid plate as pressure load suppliers. Furthermore, plastic material input is used in the form of Concrete Damaged Plasticity (CDP). While the stress-strain distribution in concrete modeling using ABAQUS auxiliary program shows the distribution according to laboratory test result, especially the elasticity modulus seen from the relationship curve of stress-strain strain. However, there is a difference in the maximum compressive strength achieved between the two tests. Therefore, further analysis is needed to know the properties of the concrete material used in the analysis, and the damage behavior that will influence the input of the material being analyzed.

Abstract

Research on the comparative analysis of masonry unit price based on SNI and Work Study was conducted by the method of analysis SNI and analysis Work Research Study. The object of this study is a simple home construction project in Nurasa Regency Nganjuk. Calculation method using the coefficient existing SNI SNI Work Study while the calculation using the coefficient obtained through the research and the results shown in the method Work Study. After processing, the results obtained in the development. the method used is the analysis of ISO 6897-2008 with the number 6.9 to work 1 m2 couple red brick wall size (5 x 11 x 22) ½ cm thick brick, a mixture of species 1 PC: 4 PP. In the implementation of a method of the materials used are ISO methods but to the number of workers and working time adjusted to the field conditions where there may be differences between SNI and the field. The method of implementation in current research project is not in accordance with the SNI, because at the time of the field research used several different work groups. This certainly affects the cost of the implementation, where the number of different artisan or worker resulted in considerable cost difference anyway. In addition some of the things that makes the price to be much different and are beyond boundary problem should be eliminated in order to get the correct result - really can be compared with the SNI. Some things are omitted or overlooked include job preparation, work benangan, foreman, and the foreman. Budget plan masonry work per square meter according to SNI is USD 86,472.50. Budget plans masonry work costs per square meter with a method Work Study is USD 77,395.50. So the comparison difference masonry work cost per square meter between SNI and methods Work Study is Rp 9,076.50.

Abstract

In each region having different types of soil, one type of soil is expansive clay. In Indonesia, more than 1/5 of the land area in Indonesia are an expansive clay. This type of soil will affected by changes in water content and experience significant shrinkage. Therefore, to improve the soil and minimize shrinkage growth, an effort is needed, one of which is soil stabilization. Physical testing of soil with soil samples in the district Ngasem, Kab. Bojonegoro which is expansive clay soil shows that the CBR value is 3.953%, and the swelling value is 6.1858%. With such physical conditions with low carrying capacity it is necessary to stabilize the soil on clay in Bojonegoro. Stabilization efforts carried out are by chemical stabilization by mixing soil samples with additives in the form of bagasse and lime ash. The results of the physical soil test from the preliminary research conducted by the author by mixing bagasse ash in the soil with variations in levels of 8%, 10%, 12%, 14% showed a mixture of 8% bagasse ash was the optimum level for repairs to the soil. So it is used a mixture of 8% bagasse ash with the addition of variations in lime content of 4%, 6% and 8% of the total weight of the mixture. A mixture of 8% bagasse ash and 6% lime content produced a CBR value of 9,324%, this CBR value increased to 135.87%. While the swelling value is 0.1681%, with the same mixture level. This swelling value decreased to 97.28%. For the value of free development it decreased to 217.7% from the previous one which amounted to 70.59% to 22.22%.

Abstract

Concrete has already get through many developments, one of them is technological ones with mixture combination of various materials. Due to various materials, it is necessary to test the concrete. One of the test is a non-destructive test or test without damaging the test object with a device called Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV). This study aims to determine the relation between compressive strength and the concrete velocity produced by UPV test. This study analyze the velocity, which is obtained from UPV testing on cylindrical specimens with different variations of aggregate. There are 4 types of variation in this study,  fiber concrete, pumice concrete, porous concrete, and recycle concrete. In this study the relation between compressive strength and velocity produces coefficient of determination which is different on each variation of concrete.
