Abstract

 Kaempferia galanga Linn. (Zingiberaceae) is indigenous to tropical Asia, where it is commonly used in traditional medicine. This herb has broad-spectrum pharmacological and biological activities including vasorelaxant active. Volatile oil isolated from K. galanga is found to be responsible for the pharmacological actions. Investigations stated the inhalation of K. galanga volatile oil showed sedative effect at certain doses. The findings suggested K. galanga can be one of the promising candidates for aromatherapy. Therefore, this program used K. galanga as ingredients in the production of pharmacotheraphy candle in various shapes and colors. Aromatheraphy candle will release the unique fragrance which has pharmacotheraphy effect, when it is burned. The inhalation of fragrance can be used as a drug replacement to treat patients suffering insomnia. It will give relaxation effect. Other benefit, the fragrance can also repel insects. Innovation of pharmacotheraphy candle with various color and shape is expected to optimize the use ofK. galanga as natural medicine. Abstract

The agriculture result that is produced by indonesian farmers especially in java such as: pumpkin, cassava, and yams. Pumpkin, cassava, and yams have nutrient contains that useful for health. While the price are achievable so they have many potential to be developed for human food. Wingko is one of traditional meal that is the most popular in Semarang. Based on Wingko’s extention that is never less of buyer, we have initiative to create an innovation calles “Wingko Semar”to be an innovation in entrepreneurship as the way for the utilization of local food sources (Pumpkin, cassava, and yams) and as education facility about Wayang culture. Because the values of Wayang cultures that is forgot by the teenagers. The icon of Semar is choosen for this product because it can be seen by the phylosophy from Semar character. It describes a people who behaves a wise attitude. Along with the character that exists and lives forever. Based on our hope, this “Wingko Semar” bussiness can grow and develop and still exist forever. To introduce this product to the consumers, we apply marketting strategy based social promotion which promotes by using product tester so that, it can attract the consumers more effective. Besides that, we also open pre-order system not only online but also offline. The innovation of “Wingko Semar” product which is different with another product can be accepted well by public. It has a high market opportunity to be developed continously, and it’s proved by the “Wingko Semar” sale which increases every month.Keywords : Wingko ekstention, Local food sources, eduction facilities.

Abstract

Water taro root plants are wild plants mostly found abundantly in swamp area in the middle of the jungle and along the Kapuas river bank. Taro root plants are like creeping roots on trees with the roots dangling down along the tree height, with an estimate length 3 up to 7 metres. The shapes of these plants resemble stem nut, and if the inside part of taro root plants are pared, there is strong root of taro root plants to bind off. At a glance, the plants look like processed rattan, but taro root plants are much better due to their smooth and strong texture of the roots which makes the plants easy to be plaited into various handicraft. These plants are suitable as raw materials for webbing. For webbing handicraft, taro root plants are the typical commodity from West Kalimantan especially because of the raw matarials of these plants can only be found in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Having seen a huge market opportunity in Pontianak, this business in promosing. Akadir Bag handmade product with the best servise and a good quality of raw materials can give satisfaction to the consumers. This is the main goal of promoting this product and introduce it as unique bag, and interesting webbing with taro root plants-the typical plant from West Kalimantan as the raw materials to the society.. Abstract

Coconut is a kind of fruits which has many benefits from almost all of its parts. Unfortunately, coconut processing for consumption is somehow monotonous, especially its flesh. The white flesh of coconut is commonly used in beverages, pudding as well as cakes. The monotonous foods and beverages made of young green coconut flesh may make people get bored. This has encouraged us to make innovation in consuming coconut flesh that is by making coconut crispy chips (KRILA: Keripik Kelapa Muda). The process in making coconut crispy chips is done by using vacuum fryer, that is a kind of vacuum frying device which can keep nutrition of the coconut flesh and keep its color remain the same. The presence of KRILA is expected to give innovation in culinary related to green coconut as well as broaden job vacancy for people particularly in Malang. In order to introduce KRILA to society, several ways are done such as by distributing brochure in tourism places, campus and other public places around Veteran street; giving tester to people in those strategic places to know the society’s favorite flavor of KRILA as well as get comment about KRILA, and doing socialization to the society. KRILA has been sold through several ways such as doing direct selling in tourism places, campus, and Veteran street; selling via BBM; and having cooperation with some stores (Toko Karina, Toko Andika, dan Toko Intan). Abstract

The increasing of chicken meat consumption will increase the number of Chicken Slaughter House(RPA). RPA is a special place to process the meat. However, However, it causes the increasing number of waste from unprocessed meat that may damage the environment. Whereas, the waste from RPA contains a huge amount of protein that can support entog’s (Cairinamoschata) growth and development. Entog is well known with its immunity against virus and bacteria. According to PKHDG(2011), demand for ducken meat, including entog, reaching 33,000 tons annually. Entog market price is also quite high. Lowest price per head reached Rp. 25.0600. Higher market entog males aged two months, around Rp. 50,000 per head. Entog was marketed in size from 2.6 to 3 kg for males, while females weighing 1.5 to 1.9kg. Utilization of waste as a source of live stock feed RPA is considered very advantageous, because the feed is readily available, abundant, cheap, highly nutria thousand not lead to residues in meat. The result is that we have sold 200 entogs (period I) and 110 entogs in period II with the total yield Rp.8.910.000 and the total profit Rp.2.400.000.Keywords : Entog, waste, Chicken Slaughtern House (RPA)

Abstract

Entrepreneurship Student Creativity Program (the PKM-K) of Tissue"Upik Abu" (Made From Sugar Cane Dregs To Save Earth) isdue tothe desireto targetopportunities ofincreased need fortissue. It alsomotivated the desire to produce tissue without cutting downthe treeas an effort tosave the environment, as well as utilization of bagasse which is usually only used as fuel for locomotives. This program is aimed to: (1) produce Tissue Aroma Therapy, (2) developa marketing strategy, and (3) getthe sales profit. Overview of effort in the PKM-K is producing tissue through cooperation with partners, introducing, and selling products of tissue "Upik Abu". Stage of implementation of its activities, namely market surveys, production, and marketing survey was conducted to get an overview of market potency. The production process consists of three stages, namely preparation, execution, and finishing. Tissue which is produced in the form of facial tissue, toilet tissue, and the tissue at the dinner table. The process of marketing is done through printed media (business cards, leaflets, mass-media), electronic media (facebook, twitter, blogs, SMS), community, exhibition, and consignment with some grocery stores. Aroma therapy is added to the tissue to be more marketable as well as comfortable to use. Tissue production has reached 650 units, with sales profit for three months of Rp. 3,862,500. Based on the results obtain edit can be concluded that the business is profitable, so the continuity of business will continue to be maintained, along with efforts to increase profits.Keywords : bagasse, tissue, aromatherapy

Abstract

Children are given the most beautiful gift of god. Parents should always monitor the progress and growth of the child, one about nutrition in children. If nutrition is metthen the child grow healthy. One of the most important nutrition is the consumption of vegetables. In todays kids do not like vegetables, they prefer foods that practical. Though eating vegetables is necessary forthe body. Vegetables are very banyan kinds, one of which is spinach. Spinach is very good for health, especially for children. To anticipate that children prefer to vegetables, we should cultivate the vegetables into a new food innovation nutritional content still awake. One innovation is the nata with spinach raw material. It is expected that with the new process of children can be met nutritional and will cultivate vegetable consumption. Abstract

Indonesian culinary diversity is a God’s grace for Indonesia to develop its culture in the eyes of the world. Unfortunately,it’s not recognized massively in the world. Regarding to this problem Indonesian-Food.com was born to expose Indonesian culinary to the world. Indonesian-Food.com is a business promotion services that uses websites Indonesia-Food.com. This website uses WordPress Content Management System and Business Finder wordpress theme. The website features included culinary map, search engines, as well as a minimalist user interface. To expand the business, promoting with offline and online media, and promoting the Indonesian-Food.com website while searching partnership. Offline media used includespartnership proposals, leaflets, and merchandises while online media relies on Indonesian-Food.com websites and social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus. Indonesian business-Food.com managed to hook 15 partners with an income of Rp. 2,800,000.00. Abstract

Background: The need for white rats and mice for animal research trials has increased in West Borneo that required innovation in terms of addition of white rats and mice variant strains to fulfiling the needs of students, lecturers, and researchers for experimental animals. Objective: To increase production of white rats and mice as well as new innovations on the DCITI RAT husbandry to fulfiling the needs of experimental animals in West Borneo. Method: This business named “All New D CITI RAT”, that developed and innovated from existing business that named D CITI RAT (Dagangan Tikus Putih dan Mencit Untuk Keperluan Skripsi dan Riset) in terms of production methods to increase variants of white rats and mice to provide conditioned mice for research (hipercholesterolemia, diabetic rats, etc) and production placerenovation to meet the standards of research mice according to WHO. Results: D CITI RAT business offered 4 products that are Wistar rats, Sprague Dawley strain and strain Swiss Webster mice and Balb/C. Conclusion: D CITI RAT businesshas been done very well and produce satisfactory results during the period, proved by the number of sales that exceeded expectations. Abstract

The one of Effective instructional media in order to support the success of the learning process isthe board or (white boards). But in use, whiteboard can hinder the effectiveness of the learning process when the slates used are dirty due to the rest of the previous posts. This is because the eraser which used is not really able to delete the post until the whiteboard clean as new. Generally, the eraser made of fabric designed with wood or plastic and does not remove the whiteboard until completely clean, so the whiteboard that has a very dirty usually would replaced with a new one, but if seen in terms of the physical is still good , but it is no longer effective if used continue, so inevitably the whiteboard must be replaced. But if there is a cleaner that can clean the whole lifetime of the slates may be longer and better teaching effectiveness and cost savings in the field of education expenses to buy a new whiteboard. But until now there is no specific product that is designed to clean up the remnants of markers on a whiteboard markers either regular or permanent markers. Therefore, for a more durable whiteboard, we provide a solution to make The Whiteboard cleaner liquid-based natural that we refer to as "WB-Cleaner". This product is designed to remove dirty whiteboard that has been caused by the use of regular markers and permanent markers.
