Abstract

Persaingan di era globalisasi ini sangat tinggi, dimana dibutuhkan sebuah konsep yang dapatmembantu dalam menentukan dan mengarahkan agar seseorang dapat memilih danmenempatkan dirinya pada posisi dan waktu yang tepat. Konsep Kiyosaki sudah dikenal olehmasyarakat secara umum. Konsep ini dapat diterapkan ke tingkat universitas, dalam arti,walaupun universitas telah memiliki program tersendiri dalam membantu mahasiswanyasetelah lulus, konsep kiyosaki akan mampu mengarahkan mahasiswa untuk menentukan posisiyang lebih akurat. Inilah salah satu alasan mengapa metode ini perlu diadopsi ke dalamprogram yang telah ada. Di sisi lain, konsep yang dibuat untuk dapat mengetahui kelemahandan kekuatan serta tingkat kepercayaan yang perlu dimiliki. Dari Jurnal ini akan diketahuiposisi yang tepat, terutama pada level kepercayaan yang perlu dimiliki dan akan dihasilkannyakarakteristik yang siap dalam menghadapi globalisasi. Mengacu pada penelitian yangdikemukakan Karolina Ilieska (2013) mengatakan, “Penelitian mengenai perilaku pelanggan,dimana pelanggan merupakan faktor utama dalam strategi dan bauran pemarasaran sehinggadengan ini akan dihasilkan kepusaan pelanggan dengan kualitas tinggi.” Metode Ken Blancarddan ABCD Trust merupakan metode yang tepat dalam menghadapi globalisasi. Dari metodeini akan dihasilkan sebuah konsep mentoring yang tepat sasaran sehingga akan dihasilkansumber daya manusia yang handal.

Abstract

Dividend is component of return that investor gain on stock investment. On other side, dividend policy ismajor cash outlay for the company. The research goal is to reveal the factor that significantly influence thedividend policy, which can be used to maximize the investor’s return and provides guidance for thecompany in determining dividend policy.The research used sixteen company listed on LQ-45 Indexes during 2011-2013 by using panel dataanalysis. The research shows that activity and growth significantly affect the dividend policy whileliquidity, leverage, and profitability insignificantly affect the dividend policy.

Abstract

This research is driven by the phenomenon and the difference of research result about thecorrelation relationship between Quality Work of Life and Self efficacy with EmployeePerformance, therefore the researcher tries to fill the research gap by proposing WorkMotivation as a mediating variable, where research with survey method conducted on 180employees PT. Bank BRI Branch BSD. Analyze research by using model of structural equationwith results; 1). Quality work of life has a significant negative effect on employee performance,2). Quality work of life has a significant positive effect on work motivation, 3). Self efficacy hasa significant positive effect on the performance of the karawan, 4). Self efficacy has asignificant positive effect on work motivation, 5). Motivation of work has a significant positiveeffect on employee performance, so this finding proves that work motivation acts as a perfectmediator of Quality Work of Life with Employee Performance.

Abstract

The importance of the needs of excellent English Language competence in this globalization era makes people always look for credible english course institutions which provide excellent quality of service that will lead to excellent rate of customer satisfaction. Education service quality is a modification of service quality model which related to service industry in the field of education, including english course institution. This research aims to analyze the influence of education service quality to the customer satisfaction and loyalty. Methods of this research used descriptive analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and regression analysis. The result of this research showed that from the three latent variables of education service quality (requisite, acceptable, and functional), only requisite and functional which are known to have positive significant influence to the customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction is significantly influenced to the customer loyalty.

Abstract

Volunteers give their service without expecting any monetary benefit. Despite of the absence of benefits, many of them were moved to becoming a volunteer in different social institutions. Therefore, many civil society organizations (which further called CSO) are depend on the involvement of volunteers, such as Terminal Hujan and Yayasan Sahabat Anak who are much depend on the engagement of volunteers in their daily activities to run the organization. The underlying reason why people are willing to do a volunteering activities can be divided as internal and external motivation. The aim of this study was to dig internal and external motivation of volunteers who stay and allocate their time to fully involved in CSO running for marginal children education movement. This research is an embedded single case qualitative study, with unit analysis individual volunteer who has been participating and serving the CSOs for at least three years. Furthermore, this study was conducted in participatory observation and interview using open-ended questionnaire to volunteers of Terminal Hujan and Yayasan Sahabat Anak. Regarding the result of the study, volunteers stay due to internal motivation factors, such as personal satisfaction, similar personal and organizational values, concern for the beneficiaries’ future, and need for soft skill improvement. However, external motivation as the presence of training from organizations and organizational management system also strengthening volunteers’ motivation to stay.

Abstract

A mutual fund is one of the interesting alternative modes of investment models for the investors that do not have much time, knowledge and expertise in calculating the risk and investment return. This study is aimed to understand the influence of the mutual fund’s characteristics: the expense ratio, fund size, turnover ratio, and the mutual fund’s age towards the mutual fund’s performance in Indonesia. This study has been conducted using the Fixed Effect Model with the White cross-section as the coefficient covariance method at 34 active equity mutual funds that existed in Indonesia during the 2012-2013 period. The result of this study has indicated that the expense ratio and the multi fund’s age have a significant negative towards the the equities mutual funds in Indonesia while the fund size and the turnover ratios have a significant positive influence towards the the equity’s mutual fund’s performance in Indonesia.

Abstract

The object of this study is to analyze the influence of person-organization fit toward turnover intention and job satisfaction as mediating variable in the Generation Y banking industry employees in Indonesia. The sample used in this study was 62 people who are classified as Generation Y. Results from this study indicate that the variable person-organization fit has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction variables also have a significant negative effect toward turnover intention. In addition this study, shows that the influence of person-organization fit toward turnover intention is mediated by job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of debt policy on dividend policy and investment decision on corporate manufacturing industry sector in IDX the period of 2009-2013. This study uses a quantitative approach to multiple linear regression analysis model. This study uses a sample of firms / companies who are in the manufacturing industry sectors in IDX period of 2009-2013. This study finds that debt policy doesn’t have significant effect on dividend policy, while control variable, MBVE has negative significant effect on dividend policy. Debt policy has positive significant effect on investment decision while MBVE doesn’t have significant effect on investment decision on manufacturing industry sector in IDX the period of 2009-2013.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the characteristic differences between academic researcher and academic lecturer using an application of multiple discriminant analysis. Results show that there are three characteristics distinguish both of group, that is: 1) searching call for papers/conference/seminar schedules via internet, 2) buying new books with own money, and 3) alocating much more time for doing research rather than teaching. The last finding revealed that 86.4% of observations were correctly classified.

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to determine whether the Organizational Justice has a mediating effect in the influence of Career Development to Succession in a family enterprise in the research, namely PT Sumberdaya Sewatama. The sampling method used is convenience sampling. This research took a sample of 38 employees at managerial level. Methods of data analysis used in this research is the analysis of the effect of mediation (OJ) and test effect of independent variables (CD) to the dependent variable (S). The results of data processing using SPSS 22 for windows with macros and hayes 2013. The result shows that managerial level employees at PT Sumberdaya Sewatama have career development, organizational justice, and succession were already good, but organizational justice can not mediate the effect of career development to succession.
