Abstract

Tugas Akhir is the last stage that will surely passed by students to earn college scholarship. And one of the activities in the field of data administration is to manage file of Tugas Akhir, especially for the submission title and Coordinators of Tugas Akhir. Coordinators are often difficult to check the title of Tugas Akhir, if it has been filed or is pending, and the difficulties in monitoring the load guidance from their Supervisor of Tugas Akhir. This also forms the basis for making an Information System of Tugas Akhir (Sistem Informasi Tugas Akhir) with the aim of assisting Jurusan Teknologi Informasi and students take this.Sistem Informasi Tugas Akhir called SITA also be made online this method applying Prototype system development. Prototype method according to Pressman has experienced several stages, namely: collection needs (listen to customers), design (built / REVISE mock-up) and evaluation of prototypes (customer test-drives a mock-up). The collection needs to be done, among others, the acquisition of data. The data used in this information system is the data of Tugas Akhir of Jurusan Teknologi Informasi. The next stage in the design, researchers uses planning tool in the form of Unified Modeling Language system (UML) and developed using the PHP programming language.System of web-based information created a purpose to be accessible without being restricted by time and place, whereas the benefit derived is facilitated student and coordinator duties in management of Tugas Akhir.

Abstract

TAM (technology acceptance model) adalah salah satu model perilaku pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dimana dalam penelitian ini akan difokuskan pada pemanfaatan e-learning. Model ini menyediakan dasar teori untuk menelusuri faktor yang menjelaskan pemakaian e-learning dan menghubungkannya dengan kinerja pemakai. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan e-learning, konfirmasi pemakai, kemudahan dalam penggunaan e-learning terhadap minat pemanfaatan e-learning dengan kepuasan pemakai e-learning sebagai variabel intervening.Sampel yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian yaitu sebanyak 140 responden dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel yang didasarkan dengan kriteria-kriteria yang ditetapkan yaitu mahasiswa STMIK Provisi yang masih aktif mengikuti perkuliahan dengan e-materi kuliah berbasis e-learning. Software yang digunakan untuk analisis data menggunakan software AMOS.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Perceived Usefulness berpengaruh positif terhadap Confirmation, Perceived Ease of Use berpengaruh positif terhadap Confirmation, Perceived Usefulness berpengaruh positif terhadap Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness berpengaruh positif terhadap Satisfaction, Confirmation berpengaruh positif terhadap Satisfaction, Perceived Ease of Use berpengaruh positif terhadap Satisfaction, Perceived Usefulness berpengaruh positif terhadap Continued IT Usage Intention, Satisfaction berpengaruh positif terhadap Continued IT Usage Intention, Perceived Ease of Use berpengaruh positif terhadap Continued IT Usage Intention.

Abstract

Faculty of Information and  Communication Technology (FTIK) USM is one of the faculty are experiencing rapid development both of the number of students  and the amount of infrastructure. FTIK occupying the building M and Q as lectures and laboratory building for student. FTIK is growth oriented faculty of Information Technology, of the entire student FTIK and academic staff need internet access to support existing teaching and learning process. When the researchers were in building M and Q,  Our will compete for free internet access is provided USM because the bandwidth is allocated evenly to rent USM. The fact that there are today, when researchers were on the 2nd floor of building A, as home base for the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, researchers gain access  internet very easily. This is contrary to the conditions in the building M and Q, whereas the number of students in the Faculty of Agricultural Technology , not as much  as in FTIK.Based on the above problems, reserchers are interested to observe, analyze the access bandwidth at USM that occured during the period of active classes and the end of the course by means of internet access at USM monitoring using NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle) and will appear in the display MRTG.Objectives to be achieved by theresearcher is output obtained from a study that is able to provide inout to the wisdom of allocating bandwidth has been hired can be used optimally by the entire academic community USM.

Abstract

University Semarang (USM) is now 26 years old (founded in 1987). It stands to USM achievement, both national and international. Although at the regional level in Central Java USM has become the leading private universities, but at the national level has not been fully encouraging, let alone the world level.Academically, USM is not yet in a world university ranking methods, such as: Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), The Times Higher Education Supplement (THES) and Webometrics. Only in Webometric lah, world university ranking USM entered electronically although not entirely encouraging. Apparently, we need to work harder in order to reach World Class University category.

Abstract

Pada lingkungan air bawah laut, faktor cahaya sangat mempengaruhi hasil kualitas citra yang didapatkan. Dengan semakin dalamnya pengambilan gambar bawah laut, maka hasil yang didapatkan nantinya akan semakin gelap kualitas citra bawah air laut tersebut. Dengan hasil kualitas citra air bawah laut yang buruk ini nantinya akan mempengaruhi hasil pencocokan pasangan gambar air bawah laut dengan metode algoritma SIFT. Dalam peneilitian ini, kami bertujuan untuk menggunakan metode baru preprocessing untuk meningkatakan kualitas citra bawah laut dengan menggunakan Koreksi Gamma. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa setelah menerapkan Koreksi Gamma pada algoritmas SIFT, keberhasilan dalam mendapatkan titik pencocokan pasangan gambar atau citra bawah laut meningkat 11,22% dibandingkan dengan keberhasilan algoritma SIFT tanpa peningkatan kualitas citra. Dari hasil uji t-test berpasangan menunjukkan bahwa hipotesa null ditolak dan menyimpulkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil SIFT tanpa peningkatan kualitas citra dengan SIFT yang menggunakan preprocessing Koreksi Gamma

Abstract

Kompetisi yang diselenggarakan secara online mulai sering dilakukan, salah satu penyelenggara adalah provider XL dengan kompetisinya yang bernama XL Awards. Tahun 2014 ini XL Awards menambahkan kategori baru yaitu Publikasi yang memungkinkan peserta mengikuti kompetisi fotografi menggunakan kamera smartphone. Instagram dipilih sebagai platform utama dan nantinya hasil karya akan ditampilkan pada website XL Awards.Website XL Awards dibangun dengan platform WordPress yang memungkinkan penambahan fitur menggunakan plugins. Alpine PhotoTile for Instagram dipilih sebagai plugin yang menjembatani antara Instagram dan WordPress kemudian juga untuk menampilkan foto dari Instagram dengan tagar #XLAwards2014 yang ditampilkan pada halaman WordPress.

Abstract

Media sosial membawa pada perubahan cara berinteraksi antar individu dan perubahan cara penyebaran informasi di masyarakat. Media sosial juga membawa kebebasan individu dalam mengemukakan pendapat dan berinteraksi. Namun sayangnya, kebebasan yang dihadirkan melalui media sosial membawa pada terancam luruhnya kearifan lokal yang ada.Hadirnya kearifan lokal sebenarnya akan menjadi penyeimbang untuk pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Sehingga dengan demikian, gerakan nyata dari para pihak yang terkait media sosial perlu untuk dilakukan, salah satunya melalui gerakan literasi media sosial. Literasi media sosial perlu dilakukan agar kehidupan sosial tetap terjaga dengan harmonis dan tetap mampu mengikuti perkembangan jaman.

Abstract

Logo is a graphical symbol that is the identity of an organization, institution, or company. Logo is generally used to introduce to the public the existence of an organization, institution, or company. Through the existence of an agency logo can be seen by the public. Feature recognition is one of the processes that exist within an augmented reality system. One of uses augmented reality is able to recognize the identity of the logo through a camera.The first step to make a process of feature recognition is through the corner detection. Incorporation of several method such as FAST, SURF, and FLANN TREE for the feature detection process based corner detection feature matching up process, will have the better ability to detect the presence of a logo. Additionally when running the feature extraction process there are several issues that arise as scale invariant feature and rotation invariant feature. In this study the research object in the form of logo to the priority to make the process of feature recognition. FAST, SURF, and FLANN TREE method will detection logo with scale invariant feature and rotation invariant feature conditions. Obtained from this study will demonstration the accuracy from FAST, SURF, and FLANN TREE methods to solve the scale invariant and rotation invariant feature problems.

Abstract

Dominant indicator of the use of multimedia in learning needs to be studied using the Confirmatory Factor Analysis. This study aims to determine the most dominant factor affecting the use of multimedia in learning, this study uses the Technology Acceptance Modelling theory. This study uses the technique of Judgment Sampling Area or a sampling technique that is based on the determination of the research area. Determination of the study area are four private universities in Semarang, namely USM, Udinus, STMIK Provisi and Unisbank, so the overall number of respondents as many as 200 students. This study shows that: 1-the greatest contribution value of the Perceived Usefulness latent variable that is multimedia learning increase the effectiveness of learning in the classroom, 2-the greatest contribution value of the Confirmation latent variable, that is Lecturer Services using multimedia learning is preferred, 3-the greatest contribution value of the Perceived Ease of Use latent variable that is teaching materials using multimedia learning is something that is easy for students to understand. This study also shows that : 4-the greatest contribution value of the Satisfaction latent variable that is multimedia learning used by Lecturer in teaching and learning in the classroom is able to provide information in accordance with the information that students need, and 5-the greatest contribution value of the Continued IT Usage Intention latent variable that is students interested in understanding the material, which is taught by Lecturer, if Lecturer teaching using multimedia based than conventional models

Abstract

Expert System is one of many application computer on Artificial Intelligence, Expert System has 2 part, there are Knowledge Base and Inference Engine. Knowledge Base is a basic of knowledge in database and Inference Engine is engine to make decision support for find the problem and solution. This system can use for diagnose about health of tooth, so computer as expert systems can help the patients to get the solution.
