Abstract

Worm attacks become a dangerous threat and cause damage in the Internet network. If the Internet network worms and trojan attacks the very disruption of traffic data as well as create bandwidth capacity has increased and wasted making the Internet connection is slow. Detecting worms and trojan on the Internet network, especially new variants of worms and trojans and worms and trojans hidden is still a challenging problem. Worm and trojan attacks generally occur in computer networks or the Internet which has a low level of security and vulnerable to infection. The detection and analysis of the worm and trojan attacks in the Internet network can be done by looking at the anomalies in Internet traffic and internet protocol addresses are accessed.This research used experimental research applying C4.5 and Bayesian Network methods to accurately classify anomalies in network traffic internet. Analysis of classification is applied to an internet address, internet protocol and internet bandwidth that allegedly attacked and trojan worm attacks.The results of this research is a result of analysis and classification of internet addresses, internet protocol and internet bandwidth to get the attack worms and trojans.

Abstract

Acceptance of the new lecturer is one of the decision-making process based on selection test of competence through interviews aspect, microteaching and ability to speak English either active or passive in communication.  Decisions are taken based on the highest value of the accumulated value calculation selection made in the institution of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication. SAW (Simple Additive weighting) is a method of ranking the search for a weighted summation of the performance rating for each alternative on all attributes. The calculation of the value of selection acceptance of new lecturers with perangkingan method based on three aspects which have been set, getting the order rengking with the highest value is 32.5 in the applicant 1 (P1) as the first rank, and as a potential new lecturers will be accepted on Faculty of Information Technology and Communication.

Abstract

Abstract—Dalam sebuah game strategi penyerangan untuk melawan musuh harus diterapkan, sehingga lebih menarik pemain game untuk menyelesaikan permainan sampai dengan tujuan yang akan dicapai. Penelitian ini membahas tentang strategi menyerang jarak dekat untuk NPC (Non Player Character). Dalam sebuah game khususnya untuk game FPS (First Person Shooter), dibutuhkan suatu strategi NPC, dengan tujuan untuk membuat game menjadi lebih atraktif dan realistik. Strategi menyerang dalam penelitian ini adalah membagi beberapa perilaku penyerangan NPC ketika berada pada posisi paling dekat dengan musuh. Penelitian ini menerapkan algoritma bayesian untuk klasifikasi perilaku penyerangan NPC tersebut. Klasifikasi tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan strategi menyerang melawan musuh. Klasifikasi  penyerangan NPC dibiagi menjadi dua perilaku penyerangan yaitu perilaku memukul dan perilaku menggigit. Sedangkan untuk variabel yang digunakan dalam klasifikasi bayesian adalah health point, attack point player dan jarak yang diperoleh dari kondisi NPC. Dari hasil pengujian metode klasifikasi bayesian menggunakan pengujian confusion matrix, dengan percobaan permainan sebanyak 10 kali, telah  menghasilkan presentasi tingkat akurasi pada confusion matrix mencapai nilai persentase sebesar 80 %. Hal ini membubktikan bahwa klasifikasi perilaku penyerangan jarak dekat dengan metode klasifikasi bayesian dapat diterapkan dengan hasil yang baik.

Abstract

Technology as a learning material will impact students impact in the future, in certain and details lesson material. Decission Support System teach how to solve the problems with algorythm methods application. One of them is ELimination Et Choix Traduisant la REalité (ELECTRE). ELECTRE is a complex methods with various stages in solving problems. ELECTRE is difficult to understand in convensional way. Furthermore, this research aimed to solve the problems by create experimental tool  called ELECTRE application.

Abstract

The development of android application of music instrument called Angklung is explored in several features and techniques. Previous applications allow the user to play angklung by touching and shaking, learn, answer the quiz, customize the application environment such as changing the background sound, character asset, etc. There are the problems of android angklung application including the amount of tones generally 1 octave, utilizing of accelerometer sensor, and recording system. This paper describes the development of angklung android multi octaves using accelerometer sensor. The method used is waterfall involving requirements definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing and operational and maintenance. The application is tested each functionalities (black box) and questionnaire. The result show that the application has successfully worked in android device (Jelly Bean, Kit Kat and Lollipop) that provides the innovations features to play angklung in 18 tones, play different octave by shaking the device in different way, and record the angklung orchestra sound using android. Based on the questionnaire result, the user satisfaction rate is 82.8%.

Abstract

The even semester 2014/2015 Technical Information Engineering University of Semarang (USM) has been running the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) in the management of learning. Conversions that occur in some subjects at an increase in scheduled meetings in the classroom or in the laboratory. Computer Networks is one of the subjects who experienced a conversion. In the curriculum in 2008, Computer Networking has a number of credits 3. From the 2 credits 3 credits are for credits 1 credits for theory and practical credits. While at the CBC in 2013, Computer Networking has 4 credits, with details of 2 credits 2 credits theory and practicum. As lecture and instructor Computer Network, researchers interested in studying the effect of applying the CBC in 2013 in the subje ct of Computer Network. Does the addition of meeting practical and theoretical material renewal in accordance with the expected competencies?. Researchers tried applying the CBC in 2013 by conducting action research. Implementation of the research was conducted during an ongoing lecture that even semester 2015/2016. The results of the study during the first half of researchers will compare with the achievements that never existed when the old curriculum still in use. The goals of this research is, subjects in the Computer Network has always been one of the subjects that the content of the material and its application in the lab was able to follow the needs of the workforce

Abstract

AJAX is not a language programming, but a technic that possible to create interactive web application. With AJAX, web application can interaction with server in back screen, so not influence web page overall. The method of displaying the  result request from user and viewed in to system without must reload page overall. AJAX representation performed with creating programming in the system. This research provides a bridge between the user request and server response, so as to ease the burden of the server as seen from the server memory in unused. The result from this research is system can provides a faster display from the previous system. Testing system based on a rapid access on each menu. The result comparison between the old system and the new system is 43,8 versus 78,4 and server memory used is 2.112 MB versus 2.095 MB with 8 users. This comparison provides information that system with AJAX better to be used on building a system

Abstract

In the computer laboratory of Mathematics Department previously installed in the network of Novell Netware 5 operating system. But file sharing problem is when client upgrades the operating system. The server can not be accessed from the client. So finally the data management was decided not to go through the server. Another constraint is not being able to update regularly, so it certainly will be vulnerable to viruses. Within 1 month required to re-install twice because of virus attacks, malware, and others. The idea is to build a network which is server-based integrated, and make improvements on the server side system more effective and efficient, and safe from hackers or viruses. This research also contributes to the realization of green computing that supports the commitment of college conservation.

Abstract

Idioms are phrases that often have different meanings with their literal meaning. The combination of words used, will have different meaning if translated one by one, especially for English words. Currently there are many idiom dictionary applications that exist, but the users have to type the words as the input manually. This requires more precision and time, especially for users who are less fluent in English. To speed up the search process and reduce errors that may occur, optical character recognition methods are used in this study. Through testing and observation to the user, it can be concluded that this application is able to help users to find translations of idioms in English more quickly and precisely.

Abstract

Server is a computer system that provides the kind of service in a computer network. One of the functions of the server is as data storage. Computers servers with high availability values are generally referred to as High Availability (HA) Server. HA enables a server can be operational in a sustainable manner for long periods of time. Now, HA has been combined with a cluster technique known as High Availability Clusters or failover cluster. In this research the author intends to apply, analyze, and implement a network file server that has a high availability of service. Researchers used a pacemaker as cluster resource management, Corosync as cluster messaging service and DRBD for the synchronization of data if a failover occurs and measured network performer cluster file system that does have a high availability service. The result is a network file system or the availability of the cluster has a value of 99.998% availability, which means it has a High Availability. The server network file system failover cluster meets the conditions, which, if the primary server (master) dies it will be replaced by a slave server.
