Abstract

The current Covid-19 outbreak that is happening in the world has changed face-to-face learning to online learning. In addition, the ability to understand lecture material must be obtained by students independently, not only from lecturers. For this reason, it is necessary to develop qualified teaching materials so that lecture activities continue to run well, one of which is in the form of guided discovery-based Student Worksheets (LKM). The purpose of this study was to determine the level of validity of the developed product. This development research uses the Mc Kenny development model with the Preliminary, Prototyping and assessment stages. The subjects of this study were 3rd semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at IAIN Bukittinggi. The product validity was validated by 5 validators. The results showed that the product developed had met the valid criteria from the didactic aspect, content, language and presentation. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the products that have been produced can be declared valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Alasan dilakukannya penelitian ini terletak pada banyaknya siswa yang belum memahami konsep matematika sehingga menyebabkan siswa melakukan kesalahan saat menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa saat menyelesaikan soal pemahaman konsep matematika pada siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA N 2 Kinali Kab. Pas Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk teknik pengambilan sampel. Alat pengumpulan data berupa tes dan wawancara untuk memahami konsep. Hasil tes dianalisis dengan menggunakan indikator pemahaman konsep. Tugas #1, mengulang konsep, siswa melakukan kesalahan 44,4%, mengelompokkan benda menurut jenisnya 5,5%, mengetahui cara menggunakan, menggunakan dan memilih metode yang benar 11,1%. Pada tugas 2, 100% siswa bingung dengan indikator merumuskan kembali konsep, 38,8% dengan pengelompokan benda menurut sifat-sifatnya, 83,3% mengetahui cara menggunakan, menggunakan dan memilih metode yang tepat, 94,4% menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari . Dan soal nomor 3: Siswa mengacaukan indikator dimana konsep diulang 100%, mengelompokkan objek sesuai jenisnya 33,3%, contoh dan bukan contoh konsep 22,2%, penyajian konsep dalam bentuk representasi matematis 33,3%, pengembangan cukup persyaratan dan konsep syarat perlu 33,3%, validitas dalam kehidupan sehari-hari 66,6%.
