Abstract

The problem of the society when it will require new electrical connection  to PLN especially household bill level is  the ignorance on the procedure and costwhich have to be paid so that it asks helping to the brokers. This paper describes about how to calculate cost of new connection installing which must be paid to PLN based on Kepmen ESDM No : 07 Tahun 2010,  cost of electrical installation based on the amount of the power required, and how to calculate cost of usage based on new base rate2010. Abstract

A modern control of electric motor’s speed in an industry  needs a variable direct voltage. The variable direct voltage can be supplied by semiconductor devices such as SCR. The output voltage of a SCR rectifier depends on the delay angle of the SCR. The aim of this research is to make a SCR rectifier circuit and applying it for observing the characteristics of a shunt direct current motor. Abstract

This study design controls a robotic arm is a robotic transfer of goods which have five degrees of freedom by using a system of point-to-point programming, the robot is quite necessary in the industrial world today, because it can be programmed back so that makes the robot to be flexible in working out various things.  The design of this arm robot control system using the computer as a data processor with PPI-8255 interface and parallel port (LPT1). Robot software system designed to control the robot to do a certain task is instructed via keybord. Control of motor rotation in the robot is done through software on personal computers and the robot is designed to be controlled manually or automatically using the program Delphi 7.0.   Keyword : Robot, Computer, Delphi 7.0.

Abstract

Abtract - Libraries as providers of information that is generally in the form of print media (books, reports, magazines, newspapers, journals, etc.) should gradually improve its services so that remain attractive to the visitors. One of the service improvements that can be done is to provide an information catalog that can be accessed by telecommunications media such as mobile phone and smart phone. This paper aims to create a prototype of the online book catalog system software using Java and XML technology  and use wireless networking technology from the hardware catalog of books that can be accessed by cellular telephone communication media in particular. By inspecting the testing results conducted in this study known that the catalog is accessible for cellular phones from various vendors.   Keywords : catalog online, java and XML, phone cellular

Abstract

Abstract - The introduction of distributed generation (DG) onto distribution networks has a significant effect on power system. This effect cannot be characterized as detrimental or beneficial but is dependent on the allocation of DG on each distribution network section. Here the impact of DG on losses has been modeLED, facilitating a unique appr oach to the allocation of DG. This approach has been implemented and tested on sample sections of distribution network and results are presented showing the optimal allocation of DG which improves the efficiency of energy delivery on the distribution network. This paper aims to investigate the impact of distributed generation on distribution system losses. The main objective is to reduce the power losses based on location of DG and size of injection. Minimizing losses in the system is a delicate balance; one of the key areas is a balance between transmission losses and storage losses. Distributed generation can save on transmission losses and must be carefully designed to ensure that storage and the losses associated are minimized. Distributed generation can be used in niche applications to assist distributed generation and help manage the variability of the transmission grid. Using application program ETAP 6.0 and the Manokwari electricity distribution system as case study, the results shows that at certain location, the power injection of DG has decrease losses from 240,15 kW to 99,39 kW and more economic than without DG installation. The best location of interconnection is bus 77 from power grid and injection of 85% DG capacity.   Keywords :   Distribution System, Distributed  Generation, Losses

Abstract

Weakness data processing using analog processors are less efficient because if there is an error in the design of a system using an analog processor, the hardware of the system should be redesigned. Processing of analog signals using digital processor has several advantages such as efficient and easy to modify the system are made, without requiring hardware redesign as well as in the design of analog systems. Errors in the design of digital circuits in the processor only requires modification program, without having to change the hardware. Modifications can be done anywhere, without demanding we must be in the laboratory. Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is a computational algorithm that is used for digital data processing such as in the field of image, music, and satellite. Winograd FFT 16 point multiplier, multiplier consists of 6 pieces in the form of fractions. Design of FFT multiplier in Xilinx ISE 10.1i could do with changing fractions menajdi integers and then converted into a number by logic 1 and 0. Changing fractions into an integer will give different computational results compared with the original computation using a multiplier of FFT. The shift results enormous computing will result in lost / loss information can be conveyed from the processed data. To that end, researchers tried to simulate and analyze the computational error rate of 16 point Winograd FFT processor using Xilinx ISE 10.1i. The results showed average percentage error computational simulations using FFT 16 point Xilinx Ise 10.1i compare with Matlab is 6.67% (first trial) and 4:48% (second trial). This error occurs because the processor does not allow the FPGA digital display numbers in a real number. Key word: FFT, Xilinx 10.1i

Abstract

The aim of this research is to track photovoltaic panel following sun orientation in order to obtain maximum output of the panel. This research has been conducted in mechanical and electrical laboratory. The tracking system has used dc motor that utilizes AT Mega 8535 microcontroller to control the movement of the tracking system. The movement is 15o every hour, from east to west (8 pm – 4 am). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi hibrid energi terbarukan (energi mikrohidro, energi surya dan energi angin) sebagai sumber energi alternatif dalam menunjang terwujudnya desa mandiri energi di Propinsi Gorontalo, dan secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi hybrid energi terbarukan yang dihasilkan pada lokasi desa yang belum teraliri listrik yang dapat menunjang terwujudnya desa mandiri energi. Metode penelitian ini dimulai dari pengumpulan bahan referensi dasar serta data teknis dan non teknis, yang dilanjutkan dengan metode observasi untuk mendapatkan data tentang profil dusun/desa lokasi potensi hybrid energi terbarukan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: potensi debit air; intensitas radiasi matahari; dan kecepatan angin di kabupaten Bone Bolango, berurut-turut sebagai berikut: 0,19 m3/s; 368,94 W/m2; 1,68 knot di desa Tapadaa, dan 0,86 m3/s; 342,21 W/m; 1,14 knot di desa Tulabolo. Dan kabupaten Gorontalo berturut-turut sebagai berikut: 0,89 m3/s; 400,8 W/m2; 1,45 knot di desa Liyodu, dan 2,47 m3/s; 350,9 W/m2; 1,23 knot di desa Dulamayo Selatan.Kata kunci: Potensi, Hybrid Energi, debit air, energi surya, energi angin.

Abstract

Kebutuhan ketersediaan tenaga listrik saat ini sangat tinggi mengingat banyaknya permintaan pemasangan listrik setiap tahun. Untuk itu diperlukan perencanaan operasi sistem tenaga listrik yang handal untuk meramalkan kebutuhan beban listrik. Salah satu metode peramalan beban listrik adalah JST (Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan). JST merupakan sistem pemroses informasi yang mempunyai karakteristik mirip jaringan syaraf biologi. JST digunakan untuk peramalan beban karena kemampuan pendekatan yang baik terhadap ketidaklinieran. Pada metode ini digunakan JST dengan algoritma backpropagation dan hasil peramalan didasarkan pada data beban per hari dan data pelanggan untuk sector rumah tangga, bisnis, industry, social, dan pemerintahan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan lewat pemrograman menggunakan software MATLAB, proses pelatihan data yang dilakukan dengan arsitektur jaringan yaitu input layer 12, hidden layer 5, output layer 1 dengan parameter jaringan sebagai berikut laju pembelajaran 0,1, maximum epoch 1000, parameter goal 0,001. Hasil pelatihan yang dihasilkan berhasil 98%. Proses pengujian data diambil dari data pelanggan dan data beban terbaru setelah itu dilakukan pada peramalan data Keywords: Backpropagation, epoch, jaringan syaraf tiruan

Abstract

One major factor to support rural development is the availability of electrical energy. Given the geographical condition of Indonesia which consists of the islands are small and many are isolated, an estimated 6,200 villages would not be possible or very difficult in electric stream by way of the expansion of the grid. Therefore we need a technology solution that can exploit or overcome the limitations of the energy sources. One of the alternatives that can be done is the utilization of solar energy using solar cell or photovoltaic sensors in the form of solar panels. Based on population growth, and the current economic growth, the Government seeks to procure solar power plants each year to facilitate villages that have not received a solar power plant. It is necessary for forecasting solar power plant needs long-term so that the procurement of solar power plants will be optimized. The forecasting is done by projecting using fuzzy logic. From the analysis of the estimated total demand for solar power in the district of Parigi Moutong using fuzzy logic can be seen as follows; needs of solar power plants by 2016 is 1090 units, the need for solar power plants in 2017 is 1220 units, the need for solar power plants in 2018 is 1350 units, the need for solar power plants in 2019 is 1470 and the need for solar power plants in 2020 is 1580 units.
