Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload andcompensation for job satisfaction and turnover intention of employees at PT. AdiraQuantum Multifianance Pekanbaru branch. The research sample as many as 157people were selected using census method that is the entire population being sampled,while data collected using questionnaires and analysis techniques used are two-stageregression analysis using SPSS version 22.The results showed that the workloadsignificantly affect job satisfaction, and compensation have a significant impact on jobsatisfaction, workload and compensation simultaneously significant effect on jobsatisfaction and job satisfaction significantly influence employee turnover intention. Theresults of this study is, any increase job satisfaction hence potentially lower workload,and high compensation potential to increase job satisfaction. Increased job satisfactionhas the potential to reduce the rate of employee turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of marketing communication on riskperception, consumer trust and purchasing decisions on online shop (studies on society ofPekanbaru City). The sample in this study is the society of Pekanbaru city who ever madepurchasing through online shop for 1 last year and already met the requirements / criterianeeded in filling out the questionnaire, such as age of ≥ 17 years old and at least high schoolgraduates. There were 168 respondents used as samples which were selected by usingincidental sampling technique. The data obtained from this study was further processed byusing AMOS program version 18.The results showed that the variables of marketingcommunications positively and significantly affected risk perception and purchasing decisions,but not significant positive affected consumer trust. Moreover variable of consumer trustsignificantly affected purchasing decisions positively. While the risk perception variablepositively and significantly affected consumer trust, but not significantly affected purchasedecisions.

Abstract

This research is performed in order to compare the financial performance ofIslamic Banks with Conventional Banks, with the variables studied are ROA (Return onAssets), DER (Debt Equity Ratio), BOPO (Operating Expense to Operating Income), NPL(Net Performing Loan), LDR ( Loan To Deposit Ratio) and CAR (Capital AdequacyRatio).The population is all of Islamic Banks and Conventional Banks in Indonesia. Thedata is based on the publication of banking directory Indonesia since 2010 until 2014.Obtained by amount sampel as much 11 Islamic Banks and 107 Conventional Bank inIndonesia 2010-2014 period. The analytical method used is the Non Parametric Analysisof Two Related Samples Test namely the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test.Based on data analysisfound that there was significant difference from the average value of ROA, DER, BOPO,NPL and LDR, between Islamic Banks and Conventional Banks. As for the CAR ratio thereare no significant differences. Overall the study period performance of Islamic Bank betterthan Conventional Banks though seen from an average of all ratios Conventional Banknicer. Islamic Bank better but according to the author analyzes because during themonetary crisis can still survive and when the economy is not conducive Islamic Bank NPLincrease but still below the Bank Conventional NPL.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, organizationalcommitment on job satisfaction and performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero)Rayon Area Dumai Rayon Duri Bengkalis Regency. Responden are employees of PT.PLN (Persero) Area Dumai Rayon Duri Bengkalis Regency is 104 people.Theindependent variables consist of leadership, organizational commitment, and jobsatisfaction as an intervening variable. While the dependent variable is the performanceof employees, hypothesis testing was done using a model path anlysis.The results showthat there is a positive and significant influence directly the leadership andorganizational commitment to job satisfaction. Furthermore, there are also positive andsignificant influence directly the leadership and organizational commitment to employeeperformance, whereas no significant effect on job satisfaction. Then the influence ofleadership and organizational commitment indirectly to employee performance throughjob satisfaction has positive influence that job satisfaction as an intervening variable canimprove employee performance.

Abstract

January is the month of the commencement of trading in every year, in this monthinvestors expect to get high returns from the previous year. In January the stock price islikely to increase from the previous month. This phenomenon by investors and capitalmarket analysts are called the January effect. Anomalies January effect can be used byinvestors in making decisions to buy, sell or retain stocks held.Factors that influence theJanuary effect are the selling pressure made by investors at the end of the year to reducetaxes (tax lost selling) and a Window Dressing, this is namely the selling of the stocks thathave performed poorly in the end year conducted by financial managers with the aim toreport the stock portfolio performance reporting at the end of the year will be look good atthe performance. Besides both cases increasing macro economic growth and optimism ofinvestors on government policies also affect the stock price increases earlier in theyear.This study examined differences Abnormal Return and Trading Volume Activitybefore and after the January Effect in LQ 45 stocks in the Indonesia Stock Exchangeperiod 2013 to 2015. This study uses event study analysis model. The method used is theWilcoxon test, a method to determine the difference in abnormal return and trading volumeof the stock before and after the January effect.Results of analysis Wilcoxon test with levelof significance (α), a 5% showed that the difference was significant abnormal returns in2013 and 2014, while the views of the Trading VolumeActivity significant differenceoccurred from 2013 to 2015.

Abstract

Then to identifythe effects satisfaction workplace by spiritual work against Organizational citizenshipbehavior (OCB) and satisfaction work in the media pekanbaru.The samples are 116employees of the editorial teams of both companies News Media in the Pekanbaru. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influences of TQM practices onquality culture and competitiviness to increase company performance (Study on Digitalprinting toward Micro Business in Pekanbaru-Riau. The Population of this research is 179Digital Printing and the researcher used all Digital Printing Industry as samples. Thesampling method used is census method. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was usedanalysis of the data and processed with software WarpPLS 3.0.The result of this researchwas significant effect and positive impact on TQM practices on quality culture andcompetitiveness. Quality Culture was positive impact but not significant effect toward thecompany performance. The competitiveness was Positive impact but Not Significant effectin company Performance. TQM value of 4.15, Quality Culture of 4.01, Competitiveness of4.14 and Company performance of 4.25. All of the variables excellent grade intervals.Theresearch recommendation, for all micro digital printing businesses in Pekanbaru-Riau toincrease quality product to produced in order to increase the quality culture of existingprinting. Printing businesses more motivated their employee and participated in training,workshops and unique design to meet customer needs. Printing businesses offeringcompetitive prices and to increase efforts in the competition and followed by deliveringproducts that have quality assurance. The comsumer is the main priority of the company todevelop partnerships with the main stakeholders in the long term for the company tosurvive and thrive with a good performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Influence of Managerial Ability andCultural Organization Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction Employee Regional GeneralHospital Rokan Hulu.The method used in this research is quantitative. The types and sources ofdata in this study are primary data obtained from the results of empirical research bydistributing questionnaires to employees sampled. The analysis technique used is multiple linearregression.The results showed that (1) the ability of managerial partially significant effect onemployee motivation Regional General Hospital (Hospital) Rokan Hulu and have a positiveeffect on work motivation or unidirectional. (2) Cultural organizations are partially significanteffect on employee motivation Regional General Hospital (Hospital) Rokan Hulu and have apositive effect on work motivation or unidirectional. (3) The ability of managerial partially noeffect on employee satisfaction Regional General Hospital (Hospital) Rokan Hulu and have anegative impact on job satisfaction or upside down. (4) The organizational culture is partiallysignificant effect on employee satisfaction Regional General Hospital (Hospital) Rokan Huluand have a positive effect on job satisfaction or unidirectional. (5) Factors working motivationpartially significant effect on employee satisfaction Regional General Hospital (Hospital) RokanHulu and have a positive effect on job satisfaction or unidirectional. This means that, dependingon the level of employee satisfaction than the level of employee motivation is concerned. Thebetter the motivation to work, the better employee satisfaction.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the relationships between the determinants of bank capitalstructure to it’s leverage. This study focuses on the use of decomposional analysis to its leverageby applying two main theories of capital structure that are the trade off theory and the peckingorder theory. A decomposional analysis divided leverage into four type indicators of latentvariables that each of these variables calculated again based on the book value and the marketvalue. A decompotional analysis aims to measure the sensitivity of the different measurements ofthe definition of leverage.This study was conducted on 31 banking companies listed in IndonesiaStock Exchange from 2007 to 2012 by purposive sampling method. The nalysis tool used isStructural Equation Model (SEM) with LISREL program. SEM analysis is used to observe theeffect of the policy determinants of capital structure to banking decompositional leverage which isa complex variable, and to obtain an overall picture of the overall models.The results showed thatfactors into the determinants of the capital structure of Indonesia banking industries aretangibility, agency cost, size, and growth were found to significantly affect the decomposition ofleverage. While profitability is proven not significantly affect the decomposition leverage exceptfor leverage-adjusted debt-to-adjusted capital. This study also shows the change in preferredstock, tax rate, and intangible assets as part of leverage can change the significance and directionof the relationship between the factors become determinant of capital structure and leveragelevels.

Abstract

This research held in Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru in order to analyze eitherdirect or indirect influence of competency and organizational culture towards employees’job performance through work motivation. Research data consists of both primary andsecondary data which was collected by using questioner, documentary and interviews. Byusing census sampling, the respondents consists of 73 permanent employees of PerumJamkrindo Pekanbaru branch. Competency and organizational culture are used asexogeneous variable, while employees’ motivation and job performance used asendogeneous variable. Data analyzed by using descriptive and path analysis which isassisted by SPSS 17 for windows. Result of this study shows that either competency andorganization culture directly effects to job performance. Employees’ motivation itself has apositive and significant effect to job performance. Indirectly, work motivation can enhancethe effect of competency and organization culture to job performance. It is recommendedto enhance employees’ job performance by increasing employees’ competency,strengthening the implementation of organizational culture along with enhancing the workmotivation.
