Abstract

This study aimed to determine the selection of Turah Panji as a prospective candidate for regent promoted by the PDP of Golkar Party. Furthermore, this study was covered using the Social Capital Theory of Robert Putnam. The result of this study showed that Turah Panji was selected as the prospective candidate for regent promoted by the DPD of the Golkar Party because of the social capital he had. The types of social capital owned by Turah Panji include 1) Figure or Turah Panji's personality. 2) Family relationships and networks. 3) Track record of education and expertise possessed by Turah Panji. 4) Organization or social groups. All types of capital were put to good use by Turah Panji. Thus, he managed to attract the attention and support of the Golkar Party PDP to promote him as a prospective candidate for the regional head election of Tabanan Regency 2020. Abstract

This study aims to answer the formulation of the problem, namely how is the political representation of women members in the Village Consultative Body in Sanur Kauh Village for the period 2013 - 2019. This study uses Political Presence Theory and Representation Theory. The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that first the Political Presence of BPD Women Members has been fulfilled descriptively. Both are substantively fulfilled but there are obstacles where not all aspirations are realized. Third, personal transformation has not been fulfilled where BPD Perempuan members have not made significant changes to women in Sanur Kauh Village, but are able to make changes personally. Fourth, formal, symbolic and substantive representations have been fulfilled, while descriptive representations have not been fulfilled because female BPD members have not been able to represent all female characters in Sanur Kauh Village. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between PKS and Bambang Santoso with mass mobilization through Mudjiono in the Legislative Election 2019. This study uses the Modular Parties theory by Novaes to see brokers as free agents who can mobilize their voter linkages because they receive more profitable proposals. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using primary data and secondary data because the topic is complex and closely related to social interaction. The results of this study are: first, when there is a conflict within the PKS, the relationship that exists between the PKS and Mudjiono is no longer mutually beneficial, so Mudjiono chooses to leave and has a detrimental impact on the PKS. Second, Mudjiono's relationship with Bambang Santoso is mutually beneficial because Bambang Santoso gets votes from Mudjiono's voter network, while for Mudjiono, the closer he is to power, the stronger his position as a broker. Abstract

This study describe the role of the state shifted to privatization in Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Hospital in 2016-2020. This problem is related to the role of the state as someone in charge of health insurance. This study uses theory of Privatization according to Savas, which focuses on reducing the role of the state and increasing the role of the private sector. The method and type of research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the role of the state as a health service provider has been implemented by BPJS Kesehatan. BLUD regulation has changed from a traditional to semi-private, however the changed has not been able to carried out by the Hospital because they still need APBD funds from the government. There’s also a problem with the availability of medicine in the hospital and the patient of BPJS Kesehatan must buy medicine outside the hospital. Abstract

Islamic parties as minority parties in Bali have their own challenges based on the results of the 2004-2019 legislative elections. The purpose of this study is to find out the inhibiting factors for political parties lead to low election vote results. This study uses Stefano Bartolini's theory and Asef Bayat's post-Islamism ideology. The research method used comparative qualitative methods using primary data and secondary data to identify and describe the various attitudes of Islamic political parties in their dynamics.The results of this study show: First, Islamic political parties in Bali are still institutionally weak, thus hinders political party to practice political mobilization effectively. Second, Islamic political parties in Bali nowadays are relying on figures with a strong mass base network from Islamic foundations such as PKS and PPP. Third, the political party conflicts that occurred internally, greatly influenced the results of the 2019 Denpasar City Election. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the leadership of adat ulu apad Tenganan Pegringsingan Village, especially related to the strategy developed by Indigenous villages to maintain the existence of indigenous leadership ulu apad. The study was framed using traditional and charismatic leadership theory by Max Weber. The research methods used descriptive methods with qualitative approaches. Respondents determind selected by purposive sampling. The result showed that a traditional leadership ulu apad is a leadership system based on the community marriage seniority. Leader in ulu apad have a traditional leadership types also have charismatic types. The existence of indigenous leadership ulu apad is maintained through of forming of cadre from an early age, which is socialization in their family and also materuna nyoman and medaha, that carried out over a one-year period in customary dormitories. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the strategy of the incumbent actor in maintaining the position of village head in the simultaneous village head election in Pitra village, Penebel sub-district, Tabanan district in 2019. This research is framed with the Rational Choice theory from Barbara Geddes to see the rational choice of the actor who started it. with preferences which are then realized using the three basic frameworks of rational choice from Barbara Geddes and assisted by the presence of a local cultural component, namely the Stakeholder profession. Creating a loyal political machine and also streamlining the entire work program. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method using primary data and secondary data, because this study describes the strategy of incumbent actors in maintaining the position of village head in simultaneous village head elections in Pitra village, Penebel district, Tabanan district in 2019. Abstract

An example of the existence of political contestation is the implementation of general elections. After conducting early observations, the authors found data that PSI or the Indonesian Solidarity Party managed to win two seats for Denpasar City Parliament in the 2019 Election and overthrew several incumbent candidates. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the strategy of newcomer candidates from PSI in winning seats in the Denpasar City Parliament in the 2019 Election. Based on the patterns built by PSI and looking at relevant previous studies, the author uses political marketing theory and also primordial sentiment theory so that it succeeded in obtaining research findings, first, the political parties have a large enough contribution to help wining the candidates. Second, the candidates rely on a door-to-door marketing approach. Third, there was a tendency to rely on ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-groups. Abstract

This research is entitled "Implementation of Pkpu No. 6 of 2020 in the Implementation of the 2020 Regional Head Election (Case Study: KPU Badung Regency)". The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of PKPU No. 6 of 2020 on the implementation of the 2020 Badung district election. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with Implementation Theory according to Merilee S. Grindle that the success of a public policy implementation according to Grindle, which consists of Content of Policy and Context of Policy. The results showed the implementation of PKPU No. 6 of 2020 had a lot of influence on the political climate, especially in Badung Regency. The implementation of PKPU No. 6 of 2020 according to Merilee S. Grindle's theory in the 2020 elections in Badung Regency has been implemented in accordance with the objectives of running democracy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract

This In the current era of globalization, fast, precise, and accuratee information servicess are needed. Pro Denpasar application is the application of thesmartcity concept by utilizing technology and communication to realize better public services. This study tries to describe how the politic of Denpasar Smart City development by the Mayor of Denpasar as a development political actor develops Denpasar Smart City. The theory used to explain the problem is the theory of development politics and the theory of development political actors. This research uses descriptive research and qualitative research methods, namely by using in-depth interview with relevant government agencies, the community and lliterature studies to explore the development of Denpasar Smart City and determined political impact of the development ofthe Mayor of Denpasar on the community.
