Abstract

This research seeks to find out the role of youth figures to help candidate in North Sumatra Election 2018. This study was designed using local strongmen theory by Joel. S. Migdal to find out the power and influence youth figures in helping the victory of candidate pairs at the time of the election. The descriptive qualitative methodology, which incorporated both primary and secondary data collecting methods, was used in this study because it portrays the role of local strongmen in the North Sumatra Election 2018. The results: first, the local strongman used the influence and experience he gained to consolidate, socialize, and form networks. Second, the type of networks that local strongman have when he helping the candidates, social networks and political networks. Local strongmen form social relationships with the leadership of community organizations through their influence, local strongman form political relationships with candidate spouses. Abstract

The Narcotics Law in Indonesia is currently in a position to discuss the revised discourse, which in the process requires various institutional supports. In the process, there are various kinds of regulations that are needed to realize the revision of the law itself, one of which is the role of the executive and legislature in making and discussing the text of the law so that it is necessary to create a thorough integrity of the relevant agencies. Not only that, in the drafting or process of discussing laws, elements of society from various backgrounds have their own roles in the discussion of laws, as is the case in the RDP agenda or hearings held by the DPR RI for certain commissions.. Abstract

This study analyzed the problem of how is the interaction between actors in the Sunrise Beach park, by looking at the pattern of each interaction, namely First, the interaction between Sanur Village and Sanur Bersatu. The second is the interaction of Sanur Village with Denpasar Parking Company. Third, Sanur Village with Denpasar Parking Company and Private Company (Skyline). The study uses State in Society theory and Political Economy theory. This research used a descriptive qualitative method by using primary and secondary data. This research shows that the relationship between Denpasar Parking Company, Skyline and Sanur Village is based on the principle of interdependence and mutual need. The involvement of various actors is a fairly good implementation of political economic policies in Sanur area, where always considering the harmony of power and social living in the community, so that the parties involved are quite advantaged in the sustainability of parking management. Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the tajen tradition in the 2019 legislative elections in Denpasar. This study is framed using the theory elites by Suzanne Keller as an analytical tool for the problems in this study. The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive research with primary and secondary data usage, because it describes and illustrates phenomena that exist, both natural and human engineering. The results of this study are: first, there is a patron-client and modular relationship between Karisantika and tajen fans which makes him have a strategic role as an elite. Second, Karisantika's strategic role in tajen makes political mobilization smoother in winning elections. Third,. Political mobilization is getting smoother because of the legality that is played out, so that the Tajen fans feels protected and fosters a good image for Karisantika.

Abstract

TheIndonesian Solidarity Party, especially in the Province of Bali, succeeded in bringing three of its cardres to DPRD seats inthe 2019 legislative elections so asto make theauthor interested in researching and analyzing how the new political party works from 2015-2020 according to randall and Svasand's perspective level of Regional Leadership Council of Bali Province To understand the problem, the study used descriptive qualitative methods that relied ona combination ofsecondary informationfrom various sourcesandprimary data from observations, as well asin-depth interviews of informants from psi board of Bali province and elected board members from PSI Bali province. After conducting research, researchers obtained the results that the gait of new political parties with new people could not be done briefly, although with new concepts or ways because there are many stages that must be done so that political parties are able to institutionalize.

Abstract

This study seeks to find out how the implementation of policies for handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Sanur Kaja Village. This study uses the Theory of Dynamic Governance issued by Neo & Chen. The author found the findings, namely the normative and proactive pattern of village apparatus performance, so this has implications for actors involved in pandemic handling policies that are oriented to Able People and Agile Process-oriented implementation. Second, indicators of adaptive policies and policy implementation can be seen with the issuance of the Minister of Village Decree No. 8 of 2020 concerning changes to Village Funds as a quick step for handling and preventing pandemics, as well as the "green zone" vaccination policy as an effort to reopen tourism in the Sanur area. This research has answered about the implementation of Dynamic Governance in handling the pandemic in Sanur Kaja Village

Abstract

This study aims to determine the politicization of the bureaucracy in the transfer of structural positions in the government of Tabanan Regency, especially related to the political dilemmas faced by the regional head after the Election of Regional Heads. This study is framed using rational choice theory by Barbara Geddes and faction theory by Francoise Boucek. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The result of this research is that there is a politician's dilemma from the elected regent regarding the transfer of positions in the government of Tabanan Regency. This is because first, the elected regional head wants to ensure that he will last at least his term of office. Second, creating a political machine that is loyal and will support it. Third, the elected regent wants to create an effective government.

Abstract

The purposeeof this researchhis to identify the issue of identity politics in the 2019 general election, specifically in the DPD RI legislative. Manuel Castells theory of identity politics is used to frame this study. The research method is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Respondents were selected by purposive technique. The result of this study is the existence of identity politics in the form of religious issues was employed in the election campaign for the DPD RI in the Bali Dapil by the candidate for the DPD RI Bali, namely Haji Bambang Santoso is the only Muslim DPD RI candidate in the Bali electoral district. With the tagline "together for the people and the nation," HBS positions itself as a Muslim representative in Bali who will always protect the Muslim community's interests and goals.

Abstract

This research to describe the factors that can influence the victory of female candidates from the Perindo party in the Asahan Regency DPRD in the 2019 legislative elections. The community environment in Asahan which is still thick with patriarchal culture is one of the challenges that must be faced by female candidates. Factors that influence the victory of female candidates are the values possessed by female candidates and the closest male figures who support female candidates and have strengths that can be utilized. Therefore, the researcher used the concept of Male Power Relations to describe the winning factors for female candidates in Asahan. This research then found the answer that the victory of female candidates was influenced by the male power relation which was not absolute, the figure of female candidates and the proportional electoral system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the dynamics of actors in the formulation of Denpasar City Regulation Number 3 of 2020 concerning Gender Mainstreaming. The theory of policy design by Schneider and Ingram is used for analysis the dynamics actors during the formulation of Gender Mainstreaming policies in the parliament. In addition, the political theory of presence is also used for analysis the existence of women in the substance of the policy. By using qualitative methods through interviews, the results of the research are as follows: First, the dynamics of actors in the formulation of Gender Mainstreaming policies can be seen when determining the percentage substance in Article 15 Section 2. Second, the resulting Gender Mainstreaming policy is a sub-optimal policy because the resulting policy is administrative and technocratic. Third, gender mainstreaming policy formulation stops at the level of framing dynamics and at the level of descriptive presence.
