Abstract

ABSTRACT The phenomenon of resistance by the senganan of the prospective head region in the election  outright by 2015, became the basis of what's interesting about this research to show how the action of rejection can make the benchmark for other villages in the fight to make choices in the implementation of the election. As a step a theoretical, this study uses the theory of James C. Scoot the resisten and the mobilization, in doing analysis on the results of research. The method used in this study is the method of qualitative descriptive, while the techniques of collecting data through interviews, chat with a lot of people, and analysis of documents. The findings in the field indicate the presence of the dominance of the prospective head region to influence the vote in the implementation of the election in a way of the village chief to influence people in the award of a potential partner number.. Furthermore, resistance.the villagers senganan by using two ways namely resistance and resistance in disguise. Impilikasi the theoretical to show that the theory of domination and the mobilization of society affects the resistance of the village senganan in the implementation of the election outright by 2015. Abstract

ABSTRACT Dana punia activities that are not classified into the money politic activities, became the basis of the highlights of this study to show how the dana punia have been politicized to hide money politics. As a step theoretical, this study uses the theory of democracy collusive Dan Slater, who raises collusion and twilight institution theory in doing analysis of the research results. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, while data collecting technique through interview (interview), chat with many people (discorse) and document analysis. Field findings indicate dana punia as a means of communication instruments candidates to obtain the support and voice of the community. Furthermore, there are no rules that prohibit their dana punia activities at the election moments. In addition to the initiative of candidates, dana punia was needed by the people for ceremonial purposes, repair temples facilities. The theoretical implications to shows that the theory of collusive democratic and twilight institution affect the voters and community support for election candidates who give dana punia in head district of Badung Regency General Election in 2016 in Pecatu village. Abstract

ABSTRACT Political party’s actor and elite calculation are undivided element on politics process.  Which is the political party as the main pilar in demokratic system, and utilities of power and governs, also the elit position playing the good roleand directing the legislation.  Which is taken by this reseach named the role of political party and elite calculation toward coalition characteristic on study case of joint election at Bali 2015.  People’s unknowing about process of candidating and forming of coalition which having a privat tendency. The metodh which used in the reseach is qualitative reseach with case comparative, with the case would been researching are election on Tabanan and Karangasem regency. As the foreword theories which use for the structure of reseach it using the coalition theory, elite theory, and rational choise theory and some reseach found which are the political intentions as the basic coalition forming in election.  The candidate having a connection with using as the consideration of party’s action in high level with dominant acts such big political party that given a relative freedom under their lower structure, however, the little party giving the more freedom for the local level in the districts. Abstract

ABSTRACT The social movement called the Women's March which took place in Jakarta and Bali in 2018 which aims to demand women's rights, gender equality, the elimination of violence against women and marginalized groups, is considered as a movement that is quite big that able to attract the attention of many people and renewal sympathizers. Many of the millennials took part in the action of the Women 's March. The purpose of this research is to find out what is the attraction of pro-gender issues for the millennial generation. This study uses a qualitative method with a snowball sampling technique. The theory used is the Millennial Generation Theory and the Theory of Feminism. The results of this study show that the factors of digital technology, media, communication, education, economics, and families are supporting the millennial generation to be interested and understand about pro gender issues. The different characteristics of each individual make the millennial generation different from one another, and for that matters they feel that gender equality must be fought so that women can be treated equally with men. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to Discover the respond of Denpasar City Government about the development of Denpasar mural. Political communication theory and political show theory been used as a research theory and became a thinking framework of this research. Qualitative descriptive was the method of the research. This research discovered that Mural in Denpasar City fulfilling aspects of the approach of political communication through several aspects such as political communicator, political message, political media communication, political target, and the effect of political communication. Denpasar city government and the artist had a different role in the existence of Mural in Denpasar. In certain condition, both sides need each other. Mural artists had experience in the making of image scenario of Mural, while Denpasar city government have authority in giving permission of location and theme whose be appointed by Mural community. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research using qualitative descriptive method and purposive sampling technic approach. The successful of ForBALI social movement within revocation of SK number 2138/02-CL/HK/2012 about UtilizationwPlanning and Development of Benoa Bay Aquatic Area are using one theory: Charles Tilly Social Movement Theory. The theory of Charles Tilly’s Social Movement had been facilitating the ForBALI’s advocation about Benoa Bay reclamation policy. Discovering ForBALI advocation movement within Charles Tilly social movement namely campaigne and WUNC Display was the purpose of this research and furthermore been succeeded to urge the Governor of Bali for immediately to revoke SK of reclamation permit. The finding of this research was first, Timeline of SK number 2138/02-CL/HK/2012 had proven to violate the procedure. Second, the inconsistency act carried out by the Governor of Bali towards the SK about reclamation permission. Third, the accomplishment ForBALI’s advocation movement had been done through social process involving campaign and WUNC Display. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research have the purpose is to find out the comparison between Tabanan Regency which is dominated by a particular party and Klungkung Regency which is not dominated in the process of determining the APBD to find out how the debate during the process of determining the APBD takes place. Descriptive qualitative research methods used in this research with purposive sampling technique. The findings of this study are that Tabanan Regency is dominated by a dominant party system. This condition causes the determination of APBD in Tabanan Regency without experiencing significant obstacles and debates. Determination of APBD in Klungkung Regency is still multi-stakeholder and experiences quite a lot of debate and the dominant party system and polarized pluralism system directly affect the process of determining the APBD in Tabanan and Klungkung Regencies. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the recruitment patterns of the three parties in the city of Denpasar who participated in the 2019 elections, namely PSI, PDIP and NasDem using the rational theory of Barbara Geddes: partisanship, meritocratic, survival and compartmentalization. The three parties also have differences in determining the recruitment of legislative candidates for the Denpasar City DPRD. This study uses qualitative methods with comparative characteristics, theory of Barbara Geddes, is that PDIP Recruitment is more directed towards partisanship, The NasDem Party leads to meritocratic, while PSI leads to survival, the goal is that cadres or legislative candidates from PSI are completely new or ways think it is not contaminated with the previous party. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to know the form of coalition that made of PSI towards Bali Governor Election in 2018.. This theory used is Coalition Theories by Arend Lijphart. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive explanative type. This research find out that, coalition will form that are both connected that is, composed of parties that are adjacent on the policy scale and devoid of unnecessary partners. PSI formed a coalition by considering personal networks between political party elites where they helped communicate the party politics to form a coalition and carry Rai Mantra as a candidate for Bali Governor Election. Second, the harmonization of the DPP and DPW, where the coalition itself could not be possible if it did not get approval from DPP. Keywords : PSI, Coalition, Governor Election, Political Elite

Abstract

ABSTRACT The involvement of head of district often occurs in every general election indicates a violation against the law of election. In Bali’s Province general election in 2018, found an indication that Badung Regent Nyoman Giri Prasta had already inside one of the campaign structure of Wayan Koster-Cok Ace, who became their head of the campaign. This research examines the effort of Bawaslu to proceed against this case. New Separations of Power and State in Society was a theory in this research which occur the effort of Bawaslu as state support institutions.. This research explains that Bawaslu effort in proceeding a violation against election law in administrative and ethical codes. Balinese Bawaslu couldn’t proceed the allegation findings, showing that Bawaslu has no authority to proceed this case due to their existence only as state support institutions that require aid from other relevant institutions which handle the violation against election law.
