Abstract

ABSTRACT The social movement called the Women's March which took place in Jakarta and Bali in 2018 which aims to demand women's rights, gender equality, the elimination of violence against women and marginalized groups, is considered as a movement that is quite big that able to attract the attention of many people and renewal sympathizers. Many of the millennials took part in the action of the Women 's March. The purpose of this research is to find out what is the attraction of pro-gender issues for the millennial generation. This study uses a qualitative method with a snowball sampling technique. The theory used is the Millennial Generation Theory and the Theory of Feminism. The results of this study show that the factors of digital technology, media, communication, education, economics, and families are supporting the millennial generation to be interested and understand about pro gender issues. The different characteristics of each individual make the millennial generation different from one another, and for that matters they feel that gender equality must be fought so that women can be treated equally with men. Abstract

ABSTRACT PDIP is a party with a long history in Indonesia especially in Bali, but the depreciation in PDIP's performance in Bali in the past few years questioning the existence of PDIP in Bali. To maintaining the existence of the party, PDIP comes with one of its strategies, One Island One Management. This study uses a qualitative method, where interviews, documentation and literature is uses as the data collection techniques. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, with respondents are Koster-Ace campaign team from PDIP.The results of the study suggest that PDIP uses the One Island One Management political strategy which then correlates with the mapping strategy in the form of mapping the political power of PDIP in Bali as a winning strategy where this strategy brings PDIP to victory in the governor election and wins 57.68% of the votes. One Island One Management is one of the important aspects for PDIP as a goal of building a more prosperous Bali while gaining a dominating mass base by making Bali management and governance managed by PDIP both from the regions and at the center, namely Governor. In order to realize this idea PDIP carried out a mapping strategy that was used so that it succeeded in transforming the masses into voices and pairs carried out by PDIP namely Koster-Ace won the Bali Pilgub in 2018 . Abstract

ABSTRACT Thiswresearchqaimsuto know the perception.of youth in Denpasar City on Indonesian Solidarity Party seen from the performance of Indonesian Solidarity Party in doing their part as political party in a democratic country.This research uses the conceptual function of political parties by Miriam Budiardjoand uses quantitative descriptive method. Samplingztechniquezthatziszused inrthistrresearchrrisspurposiveffsampling. This research shows that the average of youth in Denpasar City about Indonesian Solidarity Party as a means of political communication is 3,44, as a means of political sosialitation is 3,71, as a means of political recruitment is 3,64, and as a means of regulating conflict is 3,27. The overall total score is 3,51. Basedzon thatcfindings, itjcan bewconcludeddthatxthecyouth in Denpasar City has a good perception on Indonesian Solidarity Party. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to Discover the respond of Denpasar City Government about the development of Denpasar mural. Political communication theory and political show theory been used as a research theory and became a thinking framework of this research. Qualitative descriptive was the method of the research. This research discovered that Mural in Denpasar City fulfilling aspects of the approach of political communication through several aspects such as political communicator, political message, political media communication, political target, and the effect of political communication. Denpasar city government and the artist had a different role in the existence of Mural in Denpasar. In certain condition, both sides need each other. Mural artists had experience in the making of image scenario of Mural, while Denpasar city government have authority in giving permission of location and theme whose be appointed by Mural community. Abstract

ABSTRACT Reclamation of Benoa Bay is a serious problem faced by the Balinese people. ForBALI has succeeded in becoming a large organization in which there are customs, artists, young people and environmental activists. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. In this study the theory used is the Theory of New Social Movements and Resource Mobilization Theory. The successful mobilization of resources for the social movement carried out for years by ForBALI was finally able to stop the reclamation plan of Benoa Bay. The social movement carried out by ForBALI runs dynamically and is not standard as long as it fits the agreed strategy. ForBALI Strategy uses collective agreement and needs for the situation. A consistent movement for approximately four years and the role of the actors who are members of ForBALI are the key to the social movement carried out by ForBALI. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research using qualitative descriptive method and purposive sampling technic approach. The successful of ForBALI social movement within revocation of SK number 2138/02-CL/HK/2012 about UtilizationwPlanning and Development of Benoa Bay Aquatic Area are using one theory: Charles Tilly Social Movement Theory. The theory of Charles Tilly’s Social Movement had been facilitating the ForBALI’s advocation about Benoa Bay reclamation policy. Discovering ForBALI advocation movement within Charles Tilly social movement namely campaigne and WUNC Display was the purpose of this research and furthermore been succeeded to urge the Governor of Bali for immediately to revoke SK of reclamation permit. The finding of this research was first, Timeline of SK number 2138/02-CL/HK/2012 had proven to violate the procedure. Second, the inconsistency act carried out by the Governor of Bali towards the SK about reclamation permission. Third, the accomplishment ForBALI’s advocation movement had been done through social process involving campaign and WUNC Display. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research have the purpose is to find out the comparison between Tabanan Regency which is dominated by a particular party and Klungkung Regency which is not dominated in the process of determining the APBD to find out how the debate during the process of determining the APBD takes place. Descriptive qualitative research methods used in this research with purposive sampling technique. The findings of this study are that Tabanan Regency is dominated by a dominant party system. This condition causes the determination of APBD in Tabanan Regency without experiencing significant obstacles and debates. Determination of APBD in Klungkung Regency is still multi-stakeholder and experiences quite a lot of debate and the dominant party system and polarized pluralism system directly affect the process of determining the APBD in Tabanan and Klungkung Regencies. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is aimed at determining the existence of millennial generation in participating politics, but at the same time the millennial mostly very apathetic. The purposed of this study is to determine the effect of millennial generation participation in the legislative nomination in Bali Province in 2019, by used the concept of millennial generation, dynasty politics,legislative elections. Qualitative methods of observation and interviews are used in this study. The results of this study is the participation of millennial generation is influenced the legislating. First, they had influence of elements of political dynasty and also the support of the winning team, secondly, there was no element of dynasty but a winning team, the third, they had a dynasty without winning team, they supported by social media so it makes easier to get votes from the millennial. Abstract

After the end of the new order regime, the existence of community groups made it a necessity in a democratic country. The presence of community group the local electoral in Bali in particular is able to provide its own color. Bali governor election 2018 became a separate stage for the contestation between Baladika Bali and PDIP to consolidate their power. With the Patron-Client Theory approach, this research presents as a description of how the actions carried out by CSOs with a background of violence in fighting over the land of power, and of course the status of power. Dynamic politics makes this phenomenon polarized in diverse manifestations. There is a cultural connection, but there also involves a broker in it. Research using ethnographic qualitative methods or field research. The results of this study explain that the clientelism relationship that occurs is a remuneration for assistance given by Patron to Clients. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed to determine the factors behind the poor response of the state to the campaign props violations in Denpasar City. As the research framework, this research used the state in society theory and collective action theory. This research used the case study method. The findings represented that political power in various government institutions was the reason behind the state’s weakness in overcoming the campaign props violations. Through images and practices in the campaign props phenomenon, it can be seen that the relationship between the state and political parties was caused by the transformation of society through political parties for the purpose of domination. Conditions created by the images, practices, and transformations led to various impacts, from collective action in political parties to the occurrence of free riders by political parties inside and outside the coalitions, which increased the number of campaign props violations.
