ABSTRACT Political parties is a means or a place for the community to achieve power in government. One political party in Indonesia is still showing its existence until now is the PDI-P. Bali province is one of the strong base PDI-P. The power of PDI-P not only be seen in the central government in Bali but also in all regency in Bali. Klungkung regency is one of districts in Bali that showed the dominance of PDI-P. It can be seen with the victory of PDI-P in local elections and legislative elections. But in 2013, PDI-P was defeat in Klungkung elections. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the defeat causes of PDI-P in Klungkung regency election in 2013. The theory used is the Theory of Symbolic Interaction with the approach changes the meaning of a symbol of a political party. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study found that, PDI-P defeat in the election of 2013 was influenced by internal and external causes. The determining candidates late from DPP PDI-P, less solid political machine PDI-P that does not fully support the decision of the DPP PDI-P, and there are cadres are disappointed because it failed to become a candidate recommended by the DPP followed by supporters who ultimately did not choose PDI-P became the main cause of the internal side. In external side the ownership of cooperative from other candidates, incompatibility of candidates that determined PDIP with community's desire, and and the emergence of issues discrimination another candidate that gave rise to fanaticism of regionalism is a major cause of the external side. In this study concluded that Klungkung society is now more pragmatism in selecting candidates such as see figure and vision and mission that brought in compare the political party in the election. ABSTRACT The phenomenon of resistance by the senganan of the prospective head region in the election outright by 2015, became the basis of what's interesting about this research to show how the action of rejection can make the benchmark for other villages in the fight to make choices in the implementation of the election. As a step a theoretical, this study uses the theory of James C. Scoot the resisten and the mobilization, in doing analysis on the results of research. The method used in this study is the method of qualitative descriptive, while the techniques of collecting data through interviews, chat with a lot of people, and analysis of documents. The findings in the field indicate the presence of the dominance of the prospective head region to influence the vote in the implementation of the election in a way of the village chief to influence people in the award of a potential partner number.. Furthermore, resistance.the villagers senganan by using two ways namely resistance and resistance in disguise. Impilikasi the theoretical to show that the theory of domination and the mobilization of society affects the resistance of the village senganan in the implementation of the election outright by 2015. ABSTRACK Multiculturalism that occurred in the village kusamba to explain how the public perception of the village kusamba to the meaning of the politics of multiculturalism in klungkung, revealed how the patterns of relationship Muslim-Hindu of Bali. Perception in the village Kusamba be classified into three parts, namely, the public perception among the elite, the public perception among the middle and the public perception of society, common perception has the classified into three parts to know how the difference, justice and equality of each of the public perception in home village kusamba and village kusamba to the meaning of the politics of multiculturalism that happened. As a step a theoretical, this study uses the theory of multiculturalism which was said to be an amplifier to create the harmony among religious in the village of Kusamba who have the diversity of culture and religion. the religious harmony the village kusamba not only on tolerance, but.equality of all elements of society that materialized in the whole social, cultural, even in the political space. The method used in this study is the method of qualitative descriptive, while the techniques of collecting data through interviews, study documentation and analysis of documents. In the analysis of the findings in the field showed that there are differences and similarities to the public perception in the village kusamba and the values of multiculturalism that is embedded in generations and how a society able to cling to tolerance has been undertaken for a long time until today. ABSTRACT Dana punia activities that are not classified into the money politic activities, became the basis of the highlights of this study to show how the dana punia have been politicized to hide money politics. As a step theoretical, this study uses the theory of democracy collusive Dan Slater, who raises collusion and twilight institution theory in doing analysis of the research results. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, while data collecting technique through interview (interview), chat with many people (discorse) and document analysis. Field findings indicate dana punia as a means of communication instruments candidates to obtain the support and voice of the community. Furthermore, there are no rules that prohibit their dana punia activities at the election moments. In addition to the initiative of candidates, dana punia was needed by the people for ceremonial purposes, repair temples facilities. The theoretical implications to shows that the theory of collusive democratic and twilight institution affect the voters and community support for election candidates who give dana punia in head district of Badung Regency General Election in 2016 in Pecatu village. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the case of human rights violations during the massacre witches in Banyuwangi in 1998. The central government that when it is exposed to many issues require a diversion issues in other areas to divert attention began when the reform era turn of the new order of oligarchs capitalist towards a democratic state. Therefore, this study will analyze the motives brutality of human rights violations that led to the massacre of the witches. The purpose of this research that examines how government as the dominant party using a various social control to a group that dominated the society. This study used qualitative methods - descriptive. The subjects were the victims and the community leaders who concern about the problems of this massacre case. By using the theory of hegemony to explore the phenomenon of the role of the state to a case that comes to the human rights violations like this. Namely data collection techniques with direct observation to the test site and the literature to comparison be empirical research results also snowball technique purposive sampling. Based on the analysis of cases of human rights violations during the massacre witches in Banyuwangi 1998 as a whole is a game the government on the transfer issue. Turbulent political force people to accept an issue to distract him from the turmoil in the capital but did not go according to the destination. The lack of public understanding about the violation of Human Rights to make the case - a case that concerned have not or even cannot be resolved properly, including cases of human rights violations in Banyuwangi 1998's. ABSTRACK figure is the first factor in winning the general election. These factors capable of delivering from PKB party seat legislative council in the district of Tuban. This study aims determine as far as of influence the PKB candidate figure legislative to give winning in district of Palang while 1999-2014. This study uses qualitative research method by study elected legislative candidate. Sources data in this study uses primary sources and secondary sources. Technical gathering data can do by serious interview with informants has determined and gathering documents are related to study material. The findings in this study that, the PKB party victory in the District Cross Rofi'udin pioneered by figures who have achievements and the idea of renewal in the art of Islam. Among them is the art of propaganda tongklek and social activities undertaken by the students MA Al-Mustofawiyah. Tongklek art is a means to draw attention to more mature voters, whereas in social service conducted targeted at first-time voters. Conclusion from this study is influence the figure Rofi’uddin selected because of there are image has given from society by means of achievement, contribution to NU along with entrusted missionary endeavor from Kiai. Meanwhile, in sphere NU still trust with the mean sendikoh dawoh marang Kiai (all of command from Kiai is doing by Santri and society). ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine how Ngalap Berkah Ritual affect the ruling elite in finding and maintaining power. Ngalap Berkah Ritual is a ritual performed by kejawen Kemukus Mountains and surrounding communities. Pilgrims perform the ritual on Friday evenings and Friday Pon. Rituals performed in the tomb of Prince Samudro, pilgrims perform the ritual with the aim to seek blessings. This study uses qualitative research with the primary data source, the data obtained from the experts, in this study is the caretaker of the tomb of Prince Samudro. The technique of collecting data through observation, depth interviews and documentation. Then the data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. Using the theory of myth revealed by Barthes and is supported by the theory of Foucault's theory of hegemony and Theory Simotika. This study resulted in the following findings, namely the influence Ngalap Berkah Ritual of the ruling elite in finding and maintaining power. Caretaker searches hegemonic power by using symbols in doing Ngalap Berkah Ritual. Caretaker in control in Ngalap Berkah Ritual ruling leads to successful candidates. Most perpetrators of rituals that come to Mount Kemukus successful, it can be seen from the celebration of the success of power-seekers who come to Mount Kemukus. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the position and the role of the village elite in influencing the formulation musrenbang in Gianyar Blahbatuh village. Non government elite into a figure capable of mobilizing the community so as to create social dynamics that will affect resultant force on the formulation of policies between the ruling elite and the local elite in the village Blahbatuh. The purpose of this study seeks to dissect the participation of the local community to the village elite in relation to the formulation musrenbang Blahbatuh village. This study uses qualitative research methods - the descriptive study using a model of Bungin. Engineering research data collection is done by direct observation, and literature that have relevance to the theme of the research as well as assign a resource by interviewing community leaders non - government and aperture Blahbatuh villages and rural communities. The research proves that the villagers Blahbatuh have a high level of political consciousness it is proved that the village administration is part of the local community so that the synergy between the government, the elite non - government and community berasas democratic, rational, interactive and transparent. Local elites non - government became an influential figure in the formulation typically musarembang not only suggest policy proposals alone but actively conduct political lobbying in policy development processes as well as determine the direction of policy. ABSTRACT Political party’s actor and elite calculation are undivided element on politics process. Which is the political party as the main pilar in demokratic system, and utilities of power and governs, also the elit position playing the good roleand directing the legislation. Which is taken by this reseach named the role of political party and elite calculation toward coalition characteristic on study case of joint election at Bali 2015. People’s unknowing about process of candidating and forming of coalition which having a privat tendency. The metodh which used in the reseach is qualitative reseach with case comparative, with the case would been researching are election on Tabanan and Karangasem regency. As the foreword theories which use for the structure of reseach it using the coalition theory, elite theory, and rational choise theory and some reseach found which are the political intentions as the basic coalition forming in election. The candidate having a connection with using as the consideration of party’s action in high level with dominant acts such big political party that given a relative freedom under their lower structure, however, the little party giving the more freedom for the local level in the districts. ABSTRACT Slank is a band or musician who has a huge influence on his fans in Indonesia. Not many bands have as much fan base as Slank. The research entitled "Music Hegemony and Slank Lifestyle in Building Slankers' Loyalty" aims to provide an explanation of how the practice of hegemony can occur between Slank and Slankers, so that loyalty is created. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with in-depth interviews. The theoretical foundation used in this study is Antonio Gramsci's theory of hegemony and Michel Foucault's theory of discourse power. Based on the analysis of the data obtained the first findings, Slank managed to hegemony the Slankers through music by entering the things they want to convey through the lyrics of Slank songs and hegemony through lifestyle by convincing Slankers that Slank has the same interests as Slankers. Second, Slank has also created a power of discourse by disseminating Slank's ideology so that the Slankers will normatively justify anything that is justified by Slank.
