Abstract

As the rising up Including terrorist crimes in our society due to issues politics, economy, poverty, religion and ethnic conflicts. Many ways and techniques have been tried to crack down Reviews those crimes, but unfortunately the Efforts to seize person or group of suspected criminal is far from our expectation. Face recognition is one of techniques Introduced by many Researchers for the last Decades with many methods and approaches they tried to Recognize a person based on his or his faces. Some of the methods such as face recognition with Query by Example (QBE) using shape, color, and texture to match a query face with the face in the database; however the result is not good enough to Recognize the faces. One of the problems of face recognition by QBE is sometime we do not have a picture or a face image to the make QBE. In order to sort it out the problem, in this research we will try to introduce of face recognition method by generating a face image by a face sketch. Many sketch based face recognition was Introduced by some Researchers and experts, but most of reviews their methods have been applied directly inputting a sketch into a database the which is very costly and Involved a complex algorithm. In addition to the research, we are applying our proposed method compressed into face images, as the compressed images will save storage and unsumming the algorithm. KEY WORDS: Query by Example, Face recognition, criminal

Abstract

In education today, school heads rely on strategic planning to prepare and manage the school’s academic excellence goals. The study employed a, qualitative longitudinal trend approach investigating the perceptions of the selected heterogeneous primary school Heads in Malaysia toward continuous quality improvement (CQI) in the school strategic planning (SSP) in sustaining quality education. The study involved a one-to-one interview with the selected heterogeneous primary school Headmaster and Head- mistresses in thirteen schools, i.e., four from the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia and nine in the Klang Valley area. The analysis of documents and on-site participant observation accompanied the unstructured face-to-face interview with the respondents. A conceptual framework was designed and applied to the interview responses. The finding of the study indicated that CQI is not a new concept but was already in the school management systems structure known as added-value. As such CQI can be put into practice in the school immediately since the similarities with SSP carried out in the school is very apparent. As a result, six themes emerge from the SSP, namely, 1) Effective Planning Methodology, 2) School Vision and Mission, 3) Culture, Climate and Change, 4) Strategic Outcomes (specifically the school programs), 5) Supportive Leadership, and 6) Broad Stakeholder Buy-in or the involvement of not only the parents, the community but also the students and the school. And the four themes emerge from CQI, namely: 1) Planning and Process, 2) Staffing, 3) Data Management, and 4) Leading. The SSP will act as a compass to direct CQI in the school improvement plan that will bring in students’ academic excellence, high performance school status (HPS) and internationalization contact.  Keywords :Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), High Performance School (HPS), Heterogeneous Primary School Heads, and Added-Value.

Abstract

Self-medication is a self-administered treatment, Self-medication is the most public effort to overcome the symptoms of disease without medical supervision. Lack of public knowledge about over-the-counter and drug-limited medicines in drug services. Therefore, there is a need for a system to find related information about Self-Medication knowledge, such as a system that can answer questions posed by user interactively about knowledge of Self-medication or commonly known as interactive question and answer system. Self-Medication Interactive Question Answering System (SMIQA) is a question and answer system about minor illnesses that can be tried the medicine. To be able to build SMIQA it is necessary to establish a knowledge repository of an agent’s reply containing the knowledge of Self-Medication of a common health problems compiled using a tree structure stored in an AIML document. While the answer agent is a system that serves to find answers. To find answers in the knowledge repository will be used state concept information. This research produces Answer Agent design for IQA (Interactive Question Answering) on swadication of minor ailments based on free and restricted drug use according to the health department 2007. Testing conducted is a recall test where the data in the test is based on the sentence question, statement, dialogue grouding and clarification, and ellipsis dialogue with the results of the total accuracy of the test recall of 97.58% Keywords: Answer Agent, AIML, Interactive Answering Question, Knowledge Repository, and Self-Medication.

Abstract

This paper represents a discussion about one of the usage of CBIR (content-based image retrieval) in our daily life. The agriculture field had developed tremendously in applying technology throughout the years. Farmers are now able to cope up the problems to produce the maximum production. In order to maximize the process, there are specific technologies that can help the farmers to recognize and prevent the plant diseases at early stage. If the process of recognition is done manually, it consumes a lot of human energy by examining each of the plant in a whole thousand hectares. So, researchers around the globe try to invent a system based on color, edges and histogram matching to identify the plant diseases. Furthermore, the data of trait is collected every time a new plant disease is detected. CBIR still lacks maturity, and is not yet being used on a significant scale. In the absence of hard evidence on the effectiveness of CBIR techniques in practice, opinion is still sharply divided about their usefulness in handling real-life queries in large and diverse image collections. Keyword: Content-based image retrieval (CBIR) systems, Color Histogram, Image processing, Image retrieval, Plant disease detection.
