This research aims to study the difference of hedonic consumption among syiah kuala university students in term of gender and faculties. The technique sampling used were purposive and quota sampling with 360 students consisted of 180 male and 180 female from 12 faculties. The data were collected using hedonic consumption scale constructed by researcher based on Hirschman and Holbrook theory (1982). Coefisien reliability of this research was (α)= 0,873. Hypothesis was tested by using Independent Sample T-Test which showed significance value 0,000 (p<0,05) and One Way Anova which showed significance value 0,000 (p<0,05). Result shows that there was different hedonic consumption between male and female students of Unsyiah in which female indicated higher hedonic consumption than male student. Besides, students of dentistry faculty indicated higher hedonic consumption than the other faculties.

This research aims to study about correlation between parenting, religiusity and impulse buying among Bandung Islamic University students who join pesantren for bachelor candidate. This research used correlation research design involving 420 students of Bandung Islamic University who join pesantren for bachelor candidates of 2016. Subjects are between 18-21 years old from some faculties which are engineering, science, dakwah, communication, teacher training, ekonomics, law, syariah and psychology. Result shows that 328 students are in impulse buying category. However, parenting and religiusity are not significant variables effecting impulse buying phenomena. Further research suggested to deepen parenting variable since related to impulse buying behaviour.

Having graduated not at the right time is a common phenomena among college students and procrastinantion which is delaying the final assignment become the reason. One of factors that affect procrastination is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy that is predicting academic achievement is academic self-efficacy. This research uses quantitative methods to examine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination among 210 students who are completing the last assignment. Instrument used are academic procrastination scale and academic self-efficacy scale. Result shows that there is no significant correlation between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination among students who were completing the last assignment (r = -0.059, p = 0.398). Besides, academic procrastination had significant differences by age, gender, year of admission, residence, and activities. In the same time, the academic self-efficacy had differences by age, year in, obstacles and activities.

Academic Flow is a condition where person feel comfortable, able to concentrate, has inner motivation, and also able to enjoy doing academic activity. Self efficacy is believe inside someone has the ability to decide correct behavior to achieve desired success. Purpose of this research is to know the correlation between self efficacy and academic flow on student acceleration. Self efficacy is acknowledged as the trigger which pushes someone learning activity until they had flow condition. This research is correlational quantitative with a subject 24 acceleration students. The result of the study showed correlation between self efficacy and academic flow on acceleration students positive linear, which is mean the higher self efficacy the higher academic flow. High self efficacy able to control the behavior to maintain the effort to do the assignment which make easy to reach the academic flow.

On the development of law (rechtsbeoefening) both practical and theoretical, a scientist Law (academics and legal practitioners) often ignore the studies of the social aspects. In this case, a scientist Law (academics and legal practitioners) are trapped and confined on the nature of Legal Studies as a normative science. Thus, the development often collide in the level of practice of law in relation to the fulfillment of public sense of justice. In fact, the law enforcement authorities, especially police investigators, based on the pattern of education, obviously prefers cultural improvement of law and override the Legal Psychology. So, almost certainly, a police investigator in carrying out its duties and functions will never escape, in fact, are still stuck with the principle inquisatoir in examinations investigation.

Future orientation is formed as a result of interaction with the environment one of them teenage parents. The study aims to determine the effect balance relationship patterns of parent-adolescent to the orientation of future education in adolescents of Bandung city. The analysis technique used is the correlation analysis and logistic regression. The study use cluster sampling to obtain a sample of 358 students. The results showed that the balance relations on the dimensions of adaptability and cohesion have a greater influence on the clarity of the future orientation of youth education in Bandung. Balance relationship patterns of parent-adolescent balance has possibility of 16.181 times more clearly educational future compared with the balance of relationship patterns of parent-adolescent unbalance. Balance relationship patterns of parent-adolescent has possibility of 2.088 times more clearly educational future compared with the balance of relationship patterns of parent- adolescent to mid range category.

Academic procrastination is a behavior that should be avoided by students because it would give a bad influence, especially the academic achievement. One of the factors that lead to academic procrastination is lack of self-regulation in learning. Therefore, it is necessary for students to have self-regulated learning. This research aimed to test the self-regulated learning strategy to reduce the level of academic procrastination XI grade student of SMAN 1 Ngamprah of the academic year 2015/2016 West Bandung Regency. The method used is a quasi-experimental nonequivalent (pretest and posttest) control group design. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling technique. Instrument used is The Academic Procrastination State Inventory (APSI) developed by Henri C. Schouwenburg. The sample are 68 students whereas devided into experiment and control group. Data analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. Result shows that self-regulated learning are effective for lowering the level of academic procrastination.

This research aims to describe adversity quotient and its supporting factor among foreign students. Subjects are students from Thailand studying at State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research applied qualitative approach using phenomenology in order to obtain the meaning of adversity quotient. The result shows some themes which are (1) controlling the problems by following many organizations, association, and remembering the struggles of parents, (2) being responsible for completing assignment, (3) being capable to limit the issue so that will not interfere other activities, and (4 ) being able to survive by having principle that there always be an easiness for every difficulties. Factors influencing the adversity quotient are self-motivation and support from surrounding especially parents, confidence to finish college well, and individual characters. Characters like quiet, shy and not confidence inhibiting adversity quotient while friendly and easy going supporting the adversity quotient.

This research aims to study about relationship between social support, self-efficacy and stress among housewives who have high education. Daily routine can lead stress on housewives. Social cognitive factors like social support and self-efficacy effect stress experience. Samples are 200 high educated housewives who don’t have a job. This research is having incidental sampling technique and using some scales for collecting data such as social support scale, self-efficacy scale, and stress scale. Data were analyzed using Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that there is a significant correlation between social support, self- efficacy and stress among high educated housewives with F = 2.197 and 0.00 significance (p <0.01). It means that the hypothesis proposed by the researchers that there is a correlation between social support, self-efficacy and stress are accepted.

This research aims to study the effect of organizational culture toward employee work discipline at Directorate Production PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Cilegon. The subjects of this research are 115 employees from several divisions at Directorate Production of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Cilegon. The data were collected through cluster sampling technique. Instrument used are organizational culture scale, and work discipline scale. Data were analized using correlational test regression analysis technique. The result show that there is significant correlation of organizational culture for employee work discipline at Directorate Production PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Cilegon. It is shown by correlation coefficient of regression analysis as R=0,534, with effective contribution R square (R2)= 0,285 or 28,5%, and significance level p = 0,000. Thus, it proves the hypothesis in this research is accepted.
