Abstract

The development of sharia hotels is considered as a support for tourism that is not only commercially oriented but always upholds the noble values of religion and customs of a nation. This study is a quantitative study that aims to test the influence of independent variables on dependent variables. The sample in this study was carried out by simple random sampling. The research data was obtained by spreading questionnaires to sharia hotel customers. The collected data were analyzed by path analysis assisted by the Smart PLS application. Smart PLS analysis in this study was carried out in 2 stages, namely outer model and inner model analysis. Inner model analysis for 1) testing the validity and reliability of the instrument and 2) conducting an r square test to determine the percentage of influence. The inner model analysis is carried out to test hypotheses. Based on the test results, it is known that all instruments are declared valid and flexible. Hotel Interior, Hotel Customer Process, and Hotel Design affect customer satisfaction by 94.0%, while Hotel Customer Process and Hotel Design affect customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction affects repurchase intention by 96.1%. The results of hypothesis testing show that the Hotel Customer Process, Hotel interior, and hotel design affect the company's satisfaction, and customer satisfaction can partially mediate the relationship between the hotel customer process, hotel interior, and hotel design to repurchase intention. Upcoming research is expected to add other variables because there are still many factors that affect consumer satisfaction and repurchase intentions of Islamic hotel customers. The reach for research on Islamic hotels can expand and expand widely.

Abstract

The research gap as well as the novelty of this research in comparison to previous research is that it discusses the advantages of the profit-sharing system as a better monetary policy that may overcome the monetary crisis caused by the interest rates. This study analyzed the advantages of the dinar and dirham as well as the profit-sharing on monetary policy. This study proved that the dinar and dirham and the profit-sharing are solutions to the economic crisis.Under the qualitative approach, library research was carried out by collecting information related to the monetary crisis in 1998 and 2008 caused by currencies and interest rates. The advantages of the dinar and dirham, as well as profit-sharing, were analyzed. This study revealed that the monetary crisis greatly impacted the economy from 1997 to 1998 and in 2008, one of which was caused by the instability of exchange rates and interest rates. This study suggests that monetary policy should be reconsidered, as it was during the Prophet's time, by using dinar and dirham as fixed and stable mediums of exchange, as well as a profit-sharing system that avoids interest-rate speculation and takes advantage of dinar and dirham and the profit-sharing system.

Abstract

Restructuring non-performing financing is one of the solutions to save financing performance as one of the largest contributors to Islamic banking revenue. However, in practice it is not easy for Islamic banks to do so, because Islamic banks must consider the precautionary principle which has implications for risks that will occur in the future. In addition, the use of hybrid contracts in the restructuring mechanism for non-performing financing is an integral part in minimizing these risks. This study tries to reveal the application of hybrid contracts in the restructuring of non-performing financing in Islamic banking. This article uses a descriptive literature research method obtained from the results of the analysis of the primary data source, namely the substance of the legislation and the DSN-MUI fatwa. So this research uses a normative juridical approach. This type of research includes qualitative research with data analysis techniques that provide a conclusion in the form of accountable information. The results of this study reveal the fact that the application of hybrid contract contracts in the restructuring of non-performing financing in Islamic banking uses a lot of hybrid types of assembled contracts (al-'uqud al-Mujtami'ah), namely the existence of an association of contracts between tabarru' (qordh) and contracts mu'awadhat (sale and purchase, ijarah, IMBT, mudharabah and musharaka).

Abstract

The term "halal tourism" is indeed recognized in Indonesia, nonetheless, its pros and cons are happening. Unlike any other non-Muslim countries such as Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Thailand, which tend to have less conflict between tourism stakeholders regarding the development of halal tourism, the rejection occurs in Indonesia as a country with a Muslim majority population. The rejection culminated in 2019 as a political year along with the presidential elections. The rejection of halal tourism occurs in tourism destinations such as Bali, Labuan Bajo, Toba, and Toraja known as the Muslim minority population area. Based on those issues, this study uses a qualitative approach to investigate the rejection reasons from the tourism stakeholders, to provide theoretical clarification on the stigma against halal tourism, and to analyze how halal tourism branding policy in tourism destinations. The result shows that the rejection of halal tourism by the tourism stakeholders was due to concerns that there would be a change in the destination’s image. To prevent prolonged debate and possible social conflict, the Indonesian government can use another term that sounds more moderate and acceptable for tourism stakeholders in non-Muslim destinations. Moreover, tourism stakeholders in each destination should take over the use of halal branding, so that the tourism policies adopted are regional initiatives (bottom-up policies).
