Abstract

Bananas found in Cavendish Banana Gardens Purbalingga Regency have different levels of maturity and quality, as a local fruit that has high economic value and has a market potential that is still wide open, Cavendish bananas are one of the most reliable fruit commodities in Indonesia[1]. The government through the National Standardization Agency sets standards for bananas, maintaining the quality of bananas. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of light and image quality in classifying the ripeness level of bananas based on the color characteristics of bananas in the Cavendish Banana Garden, Banyumas Regency, Central Java according to SNI 7422:2009[2]. In this study the authors classify the maturity level of cavendish bananas using the Convolutional Neural Network with the Vgg-19 Model, VGG-19 is used to categorize the maturity level of cavendish bananas and the reason for choosing VGG-19 is because VGGNet is deeper and more reliable architecture for ImageNet technology.The author is also interested in learning how accurate the VGG-19 model is. With a total of 9,000 datasets, 80% of which are training data, 10% are validation data, and 10% are test data, The accuracy obtained for epochs 32, 64 and 96 varies. The accuracy results obtained using VGG-19 were 97% at epochs 32, 64 and 96.

Abstract

The Indonesian Red Cross (Palang Merah Indonesia or PMI) has established a special unit to meet blood donation needs, known as the Blood Donor Unit or UDD. The UDD of PMI in Semarang City has a Mobile Unit program involving blood donation activities that are carried out upon request from groups or institutions seeking collaboration with the UDD of PMI in Semarang City. Currently, to find information about the locations of blood donation activities organized by PMI in Semarang, donors can check through social media. However, the disseminated information only includes addresses, and donors do not know which location is closest to them. Moreover, groups or institutions that have not established collaboration with PMI, when requesting blood donation activities, must come to PMI in Semarang City. To address this issue, the Geographic Mapping Application for the Blood Donor Mobile Unit is deemed necessary as a navigation information tool for blood donation locations around the city of Semarang. Developed using the prototype system development method and built using LeafletJS, a JavaScript library useful for constructing interactive web-based maps with the Location Based Service (LBS) method, this system functions to manage mobile unit activities and find the nearest mobile unit location for potential blood donors. The system achieves a test result satisfaction rate of 92% for users. It is expected that this system can be accessed by the entire community and be accepted by the UDD of PMI in Semarang City as a navigation tool for potential blood donors.

Abstract

Personnel information system is an application system that contains information from the staffing structure within a company. At PT. XYZ there are a problem regarding the personnel information system in the form of an attendance system, work target reports, and submission of payslips which were still manual. So that reporting from companies to employees is less effective and tends to be less transparent. Of the problems faced by PT. XYZ, an application based on Android mobile apps was created which has three main features, that is: attendance, reporting of daily work targets, and reporting of payslips. All of these features are listed in one application called "Japris App" which is designed using the Flutter platform and using Dart programming language.  In developing this application, the Wizard-of-Oz testing method was used by using the Maze testing system which obtained a final score of 73 out of a total score of 100, with 4 testers with 5 test paths. The purpose of making this application is to simplify and increase the effectiveness of the company's personnel information system

Abstract

In terms of governance, websites have a strategic function as tools that support government activities, where their existence plays a role in digital engagement with the public. One of the government agencies in Blora City, namely the Regional Development and Planning Agency (BAPPEDA), has utilized and implemented an administrative website in the field of research and development, called SIP Bro. Based on observations, after the implementation of the SIP Bro website, there are still issues or weaknesses identified. So far, there have been no efforts to conduct a minimum evaluation to assess its Usability and whether the intended goals are achieved. Therefore, this study aims to determine the Usability analysis scores of the SIP Bro website using the System usability scale method. To further enhance the effectiveness of evaluating and developing the SIP Bro website, this research also incorporates the Think Aloud approach. The research findings conclude that the Usability score of the SIP Bro website obtained a score of 61.071, which falls under the "Ok" category, supported by a grade scale value in the D range and acceptability ranges categorized as marginal low, indicating that the website is acceptable but with a relatively low level of acceptance. The final analysis of the Think Aloud method resulted in 23 recommendations for improvement. The recommendations made are to enhance and develop the SIP Bro website for better performance in the future.

Abstract

MSMEs have a very large role in the development of the Indonesian economy. MSMEs in the food sector are the largest sectors compared with other MSME sectors. Warung Serbu is one of the SMEs in the food sector, one of which is geprek chicken. Warung Serbu often makes production decisions that are not always right (optimal) for each period. Product stockpiling often causes losses, but companies often experience product shortages to meet customer demand. The Mamdani method can be used to determine decisions based on this problem. This method is based on fuzzy logic. The process of making decisions through the fuzzy logic of the Mamdani method consists of several stages: fuzzification, rule formation, fuzzy logic analysis (rule implications and composition), and defuzzification. A GUI program was used in the Matlab software to simplify the display. Based on June-September 2022 data, a MAPE percentage of 7.4% was obtained, while the company's MAPE value for the desired (optimal) production was 11.09%. The prediction for the number of geprek chickens in the June 7, 2022, period was 132 portions, with a total production cost of Rp. 824000,-;

Abstract

This research was conducted at an educational institution, specifically at the Asia Institute of Technology and Business in Malang (Asia Institute Malang). The aim was to develop an employee information system that was previously manual (paper-based) and supported by a simple data processing application, transforming it into a web-based information system that can be accessed anytime, anywhere. This ensures that requests for approval (such as permission requests and schedule changes) do not have to wait for a long time. In the future, this system will evolve both in terms of platform and overall employee data management. The research employed the Agile Development method, customized to meet user demands for immediate application use. The Agile Development model used was the Scrum model, involving activities such as system requirements analysis, design, code generation, testing, and support.

Abstract

Technology is currently developing very rapidly, one of which is the technology of hatching eggs in chicken farms. The technology used is a chicken egg incubator why do farmers need an incubator in hatching because many farmers experience hatch failure, so that crop failure does not occur, this incubator is designed to achieve an ideal temperature of 37-40 0C, this ideal temperature is a good temperature in hatching chicken eggs, if it is too hot it will cause the quality of the eggs to decrease and even cause death. Controlling the temperature in this incubator uses the fuzzy mamdani and the DS18B20 sensor. The DS18B20 sensor is used to get the temperature in the incubator as input for fuzzy logic, the output of this system is the fan speed (PWM) and lights to make the temperature warmer. Based on the simulation results using fuzzy logic at a normal temperature of 39.5 0C with a total of 25 eggs the fan speed reaches normal, namely 160 PWM.

Abstract

The growth of energy consumption worldwide has experienced a significant increase in the past two decades. The increase in energy consumption in a company indicates that the company generates more carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions than usual. Excessive carbon emissions have a significant impact on human health and the environment. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the extraction and combustion of fossil fuels are major contributors to climate change and air pollution. It is necessary to analyze what factors contribute to high carbon emissions. This study uses the CRISP-DM (Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining) method. The K-Means algorithm will be used to cluster the features that influence high carbon emissions. The feature selection process for K-Means uses Pearson correlation. The clustering model results in good evaluation scores using the Silhouette evaluation metric. Subset data 1 obtained a Silhouette score of 0.744, and subset data 2 obtained a Silhouette score of 0.7629. The evaluation results indicate that the K-Means model works quite well in creating clusters.

Abstract

The determination of new student admissions is a crucial process for every higher education institution. To enhance efficiency and objectivity in decision-making, the implementation of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method has been carried out in the decision support system of Politeknik Seruyan. The SAW method is utilized to calculate and assign weights to relevant criteria in the selection of new prospective students.This research elaborates on the implementation process of SAW within the decision support system of Politeknik Seruyan. Data pertaining to prospective students, including entrance exam scores, academic achievements, and other relevant factors, are collected and processed using the SAW method. The outcomes of these calculations provide rankings for prospective students based on their degree of conformity with the criteria established by the polytechnic. The results of this research demonstrate that the use of the SAW method in the process of selecting new student admissions has improved efficiency, objectivity, and transparency in decision-making. With the existence of a SAW-based decision support system, Politeknik Seruyan can make more accurate decisions in accepting new students in accordance with the criteria and educational objectives set by the institution. The implementation of the SAW method in the decision support system contributes positively to enhancing the quality of new student admissions at Politeknik Seruyan.

Abstract

When entering the digital ecosystem, MSMEs become easy targets for cybercriminals. Therefore, apart from improving their security systems, MSME entrepreneurs must have digital safety competencies. Instructional media will make it easier for MSME entrepreneurs to learn digital safety independently. This research aims to create a digital safety instructional media prototype that suits MSME entrepreneurs’s need using the user-centered design (UCD) method. MSME entrepreneurs have various ages and abilities to use technology. It is hoped that by applying the UCD method, the resulting instructional media will be easy to use and meet user needs. UCD in this research consists of four activities, there are: identifying user needs, designing solutions, creating prototypes, and evaluation. The result of this research is an instructional media prototype that can display learning material, evaluate users understanding, and display evaluation results scores. This prototype was tested on participants using the single ease question (SEQ) metric. The average participant SEQ score was 5.9, which shows that the proposed instructional media design is easy to use. Most participants considered that the proposed design was attractive, provided easy access, and presented the material well.
