Abstract

This study was intended  to identify the effect of variations in product and labor to increase profits at   AHASS Workshop Pandaan whether theyhave a partial effect, where the variables simultaneously and more dominant, type of quantitative research conducted by validity test research methods, reliabillity, classical assumption, regression, coefficient of determination, t-test and f test. Methods of data collection were  done by observation, questionnaire and documentation. From the results of the above data it can be concluded the data is valid, and there is a relationship reliable partially and simultaneously, and the most dominant variable is a variation of products. From the results of multiple linear regression that affects predominantly to the increase in earnings in the  AHASS Workhop Pandaan  was a variation of products. Product Variations regression coefficient (X1) of 0.563 means that if variations product increased by one unit then the earnings will increase by 0.563 assuming that other variables held constant influence.

Abstract

This study discusses the presence of: (1) Influence of Transformational Leadership on Employee Job Satisfaction Morotai Island district. (2) Effect of Organizational Commitment on Employee Job Satisfaction Morotai Island district. The population in this study were employees of Morotai Island district office of regent. In this study using survey method is the method of collecting primary data by asking questions to respondents and data collection tool was a questionnaire with a population of 159 respondents / person. Tests conducted on questionnaires filled out by respondents using tools SPSS version 15.00 for windows.The results of this study concluded that there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership on Employee Job Satisfaction Morotai Island district. And there is a significant relationship between Organizational Commitment on Employee Job Satisfaction Morotai Island district. Abstract

In this paper we investigated whether or not impression management effect organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of employees in service industries in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.  The aim of this research also distinguished between impression management and OCB. Based on the previous researchers, I examine that five dimensions of impression management enhance three dimensions of OCB. Three types of OCB and five types of impression management were assessed using modification of previous researchers. A survey was conducted by using questionnaires from previous research. The questionnaires were sent to employees in private service organizations, 171 completed surveys were returned anonymously in sealed envelopes. Validity tests and reliability tests were used to test the questionnaires contents. Independent sample test was used to test difference between impression management and OCB. The correlation between two dimensions and regressions analysis were used to test the relationship among the variables and dimensions. The result proved that impression management is both conceptually and empirically distinct from OCB. Self-promotion, ingratiation, and exemplification dimensions have positive effect on participation dimension, ingratiation, exemplification, and supplication dimensions have positive effect on obedience dimension, and exemplification, intimidation, and supplication dimensions have positive effect on loyalty dimensions. A thorough discussion on the relationship among the variables as well as on self rating is presented in this paper.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between leader-member exchange, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in service industry. Following social exchange theory and role theory, we compete three relationship models. Resuls from correlation and regression study with 430 respondents of  service industry indicate that leader-member exchange, job satisfaction, continuance organizational commitment are the predictors of affective organizational commitment in service industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how well IT is used to support the business processes of SMEs in Bangunjiwo, and to identify ways to help SMEs improve IT support for business processes in SMEs in Bangunjiwo. This research is expected to have benefits that can increase managers/owners awareness to take advantage of the information technology support in business processes. By knowing the results of this study, the SMEs are expected to further improve the use of information technology in business processess as to achieve competitive advantage.The unit of analysis for this study is the SME organization, so every organization represented by one person (owner or manager). Population of the research is small and medium companies in Bangunjiwo, Kasihan, Bantul. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique to determine which companies will be the respondent.The results show that IT support for each business process is lower than importance level that business processes run bySMEs in Bangunjiwo. IT support for SMEs in the business process can be enhancedby the disseminationof research results to the SMEs in Bangunjiwo, so they can understand the importance of IT support. Socialization is intended to motivate the use of IT facilities economically an deasily, so it can be done by SMEs.

Abstract

The research took a topic the influence of public service motivation towards the employeees’ performance through performance job satisfaction of the employees at hospital care of public health center of Yogyakarta City. The topic chosen is set out from the researcher’s curiousness to know whether exthant influence of public service motivation toward the employees’ performance throug job satisfaction. In order that the researcher proposed hypothesis of public service motivation through job influence positively toward the employee’s performance.The research was conducted in three (3) hospital care of public health center of Yogyakarta City. The research took primary data by distributing response questionnaire of the responden toward public service motivation and job satisfaction to whole employees performance in three hospital health service. Secondary data of the employees performance in three hospital care of public health service was taken from job assessment that was conducted by Badan Kepegawaian Daerah for each semester. Number or sampel in the research was as many 178  people, with cencus method. Analysis used was Structural equation Modeling (SEM) by using Analysis of Moment Structure program version 22,0 and SPSS 20,0From the analysis result conducted revealed that Public Service Motivation through job satisfaction influences positively toward performance. And Public Service Motivation  does not influence positively toward performance.

Abstract

Terikatnya seorang pekerja dengan pekerjaan atau instansinya seringkali memunculkan ketidaknyamanan atau sebaliknya yang menyebabkan seorang pekerja dihadapkan pada pilihan untuk tetap bekerja pada instansi saat ini atau meninggalkan instansi tersebut untuk mencari pekerjaan lain. Hal ini tidak hanya berlaku untuk pegawai swasta, namun pegawai negeri juga dihadapkan pada persoalan yang sama, hanya saja pegawai negeri diharuskan mengikuti aturan Pemerintah baik pusat maupun daerah yang seringkali berubah-ubah. Keterikatan seorang pekerja dengan pekerjaannya ini disebut dengan Job Embeddedness. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh Work Overload (WO) dan Family Work Conflict (FWC) terhadap Job Embeddedness (JE) dengan Quality of Work Life (QWL) sebagai variabel intervening.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode studi kasus yang dilakukan di instansi Pemerintah Sekretariat DPRD Provinsi DIY. Populasi penelitian merupakan Pegawai Negeri Sipil di instansi tersebut sebanyak 66 pegawai yang kemudian seluruhnya dijadikan sampel sehingga data yang diperoleh ialah data sensus. Instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner dan dokumen atau literatur yang relevan untuk mendukung analisis dalam penelitian ini. Metode analisis data yang digunakan ialah metode analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif antara WO dan FWC terhadap QWL dan JE, sedangkan QWL berpengaruh positif terhadap JE. QWL mampu memediasi hubungan antara WO dan FWC dengan JE. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat baik untuk kalangan akademisi, instansi/perusahaan maupun individu.

Abstract

Compensation, motivation and job satisfaction is directly related to the employee's performance. Compensation, motivation and job satisfaction felt by employees can degrade performance or improve employee performance. Compensation in accordance with the expectations of employees and the employees were satisfied with their jobs will be motivated to improve performance so that will have an impact on increasing the company's overall performance. This research was conducted at Waroeng Spesial Sambal (SS) Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance. The number of samples is set as many as 154 respondents using random sampling method. Results of the analysis showed that the variables of job satisfaction and work motivation positive effect on employee performance, while variable compensation is not successful in influencing the performance of employees.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate student soft skill training program, especially on student satisfaction toward soft skill training execution, student understanding of training material, identification of self efficacy level (before and after training) and the training impact to the student behavior. 31 student from management Department were involved in this research. Mean analisys and paired sample t test were used to analyze data. The results showed that (i) student were satisfied with training execution in all aspecs (ii) student understood with training material (iii) there was a difference level of self efficacy (before and after training) (iv) student behavior changing didn’t need long time.

Abstract

          The author examines the influence of leadership, distributive judgement of compensation, need for achievement, need for affiliation, and need for power, on the performance of employees of RSUD Kalianda. The performance of employee will affect the performance of companies that also affect the company achieve its goals, vision and mission. Leves of employee performance is inseparable from the role of employee in managing employees associated factors of leadership, namely how the level of influence and effectiveness of leadership undertaken, the distributive judgement of compensation factor, namely the extent to which the role and influence of the distributive judgement of compensation system applied in improving the performance of its employees, and motivate reflection of need for achievement, need for affiliation, and power needs that exist within themselves and therefore contributes to the achievement of its performance. Population in this study around 291 peoples, with 63 peoples as sample. Independent variables: leadership, distributive judgement of compensation, need for achievement, need for affiliation, need for power. Dependent variables: the performance of employee who judged from employee appraisal. This study uses questionnaire instruments data that have proven validity and reliability, and interview. The statistical techniques using multiple linear regression analysis with the partial test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results that the variables of need for affiliation has a positive significant impact on the performance of employee. While the variables of leadership, distributive judgement of compensation, need for achievement, and need for power are not having a significant effect on the performance of employee. Independent variables in this study are efficient enough to explain its influence on the dependent variable, is attested by the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) from the second regression analysis is 0.272 had the significant level 0.000.
