Abstract

Guru yang profesional adalah salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Kemampuan merancang perangkat pembelajaran yang berkualitas menunjukkan kesiapan guru dalam mengajar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru matematika SMA/SMK Muhamamadiyah Klaten dalam mengembangkan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP)  melalui pendekatan lesson study.Metode pelaksanaan melalui Sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan: (1) ada peningkatan kemampuan guru-guru matematika di SMA/SMK Muhammadiyah Klaten dalam hal mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis lesson study(2) Respon peserta terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan sangat baik.

Abstract

The gold standard in infant feeding and child starting from Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD), exclusive breastfeeding for the six months. One of the health problems faced in the area of †health centers Pucang Sawit is the lack of motivation of counselor support group exclusive breastfeeding. There are only three groups motivator breastfeeding support so not comparable with the number of babies in the region Pucang Sawit. Approaches through peer (Peer Support) on exclusive breastfeeding support group as one of the community-based empowerment efforts so as to help improve coverage eksklusive breastfeeding in Surakarta close to the target so that the vision of becoming a pilot Surakarta can be realized. Implementation ofservice programs are divided into three programs: the first socialization to the cadre and peer group as well as breastfeeding support group facilitator conducted one day, both the implementation of training activities breastfeeding support group for 4 days which consists of four small groups and accompanied by two facilitators each and third activity is monitoring and evaluation results formations breastfeeding support groups.

Abstract

There are so many snack that sold at the school that has a high risk for the health. Range from snak that consume by student have a potential occur the contamination biology or chemical that disturb the health according the long term or the short term. In generally, the seller of the snack didn’t know the food safety that they sold. And so do the student at Tiyaran 1 and 3 Elementary School didn’t really know about the healthy snack. This activity is promotif and preventif efforts, so the student can know and understanding the healthy snack in the school also can do the protection toward dangerous food material. The methode that use for this activity is giving education through the media Pictorial Story Book that has content about things that concern the snack at the school that created in the form pictorial story that simple and interesting. The purpose using media pictorial story book is to be the participant to easy undertanding the material. Beside that do the demonstration test the dangerous substance that consist of Formalin test, Borax, and the food colour that dangerous such as Methanil Yellow and Rhodamin B. This education activity can improve the elementary student’s knowledge, teacher’s, and canteen organizer’s about the healthy snack. Beside that, also improve the knowledge about the dangerous material with test the snack at the school with reagen test to detect the existency of formalin, borax, methanil yellow, rhodamin B.

Abstract

 Desa Sidomukti Jenawi Kab. Karanganyar Jawa Tengah, terdapat  produksi keripik singkong namun memiliki rasa gadung bahwa proses pembuatan kripik singkong rasa gadung. Ibu Warti merupakan perintis UKM Keripik Singkong Rasa Gadung di mana UKM tersebut mempunyai kelompok yang banyak memiliki anggota yang banyak salah satunya adalah Kelompok Sri Rejeki yang berdiri pada tahun 2006. Mitra yang kedua pada pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani Mukti Rahayu di Desa Sidomukti Kecamatan Jenawi Kabupaten Karanganyar di mana berdiri pada tahun 2009 dengan pengurus antara lain; Ibu Yani sebagai Ketua, Ibu Suharni sebagai Sekretaris dan Ibu Darsimi sebagai Bendahara.Beberapa permasalahan mitra yaitu kurangnya bahan baku, kurangnya alat penunjang produksi, lemahnya sistem pemasaran dan promosi, lemahnya manajemen keuangan. Beberapa solusi yang ditawarkan adalah penggunaan pupuk organik yang tepat (probiotik), kerja sama dengan pemerintah daerah maupun swasta, pengadaan alat produksi dan pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan berbasis aplikasi program/software keuangan.Mitra juga berpartisipasi dalam hal pendanaan untuk menunjang program-program yang telah kita sepakati bersama. Pendanaan tersebut merupakan sebagai wujud swadaya masyarakat sehingga adanya kepedulian terhadap kemajuan khususnya daerah Desa Sidomukti, Kecamatan Jenawi, Kabupaten Karanganyar dan pada umumnya untuk bangsa dan negara. Mitra Kelompok Sri Rejeki memberikan swadana sebesar Rp 12.000.000,- per tahun selama 3 tahun.

Abstract

Business Entrepreneurial Incubator Program (Inwabi) programmed for entrepreneurship aims to implement the role of science and technology for entrepreneurship for students at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). Activities include: recognition, empowerment, improvement of hard and soft skills of students, mental construct of student  entrepreneurship (entrepreneur soft skills), so that students are able to be creators of jobs (job creators) not only job seekers (job seekers). The target of the program Inwabi provide assistance to the 20 students in the field of new entrepreneurial small businesses and make at least 50% managed to independently manage their own businesses. Methods of community service Papiku in Inwabi include learning, training and empowerment using the concept of Project Based Learning (PBL), which contains models of mentoring, empowerment: doing, empowering, facilitating and evaluating. Besides PBL also uses Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) of potential exploration-based talent to produce and acquire prospective new entrepreneurs accordance talent / potential of each. Implementation conducted on students who are ready to become tenants, including students PKMK, students starting a new business that already have a business. Inwabi Papiku activities include direct entrepreneurial training and learning (doing), empowered (empowering), facilitated by (facilitating), and evaluated the problem constraints (evaluating) for three months. Implementation of assistance Papiku Inwabi carried out cooperation and synergy with the institutions Socialpreneur who have competence in their fields, namely (a) the Vocational School, supports hardware-based technology, training, learning and training, (b) Talents Center, to support the implementation of potential exploration entrepreneur based talent / potential, (c) Kemal Abda, an online shop is a community in the field of internet marketing. Tenant business group in Inwabi activities covering the fields of internet marketing online shop (11), the culinary field (3), in batik and fashion (2), the culinary field (4), the implementation is divided into seven stages. During the three months generated at least 50% independent of the number of 20 tenants, 10 students (tenant) became new entrepreneurs are well established, the rest is still to understand the  importance of entrepreneurship and self-employment as a mental construct a selection of work for him to be more independent.

Abstract

Improving of AIDS desease one of caused by limited of knowledge which the impactof their attitude. Free sex related to the number of HIV viral infecsious. The aim of theactivity is improving of knowledge the commercial sex workers about AIDS desease.AIDS one of the impact commercial sex workes. The methodh of activity are lecture,discussion and consultation. The matherial of AIDS including definition,simptom and sign, treatment and preventive. The rresult of activity is the knowledgeof commercial sex workers better than before health education.

Abstract

Dalam membelajarkan matematika diperlukan suatu metode pelajaran yang dapat mengubah persepsi matematika yang sulit menjadi matematika yang menyenangkan. Metode math master merupakan metode dalam membelajarkan matematika yang menekankan pada pemahaman konsep dengan peraga mainan atau media lain yang sesuai dengan dunia anak sehingga pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dan bermakna. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini, yaitu 1) Guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Program Khusus di Boyolali, memahami dan menguasai metode math master dalam pembelajaran matematika; 2) Siswa-siswa Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Program Khusus di Boyolali tidak lagi memiliki Numeric phobia terhadap pelajaran matematika; 3) Siswa-siswa Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Program Khusus di Boyolali memiliki peningkatan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan berhitung (matematika) dari sebelumnya. Metode pelaksanaan ini melalui tiga tahap, yaitu workshop, implementasi, dan evaluasi metode math master. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan: 1) Guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Program Khusus di Boyolali menggunakan metode math master dalam membelajarkan matematika; 2) ) Siswa-siswa Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Program Khusus di Boyolali tidak lagi memiliki Numeric phobia, hal ini dikarenakan guru menggunakan alat peraga atau media lain yang menunjang dalam pembelajaran matematika sehingga siswa lebih mudah dalam memahami konsep matematika; 3) Ada peningkatan hasil belajar matematika setelah adanya implementasi metode math master.

Abstract

These community service activities program is a complete infrastructure ofteaching and learning activities like computer device, gives additional knowledgeand skills for teachers and students in computer field and use of simple applicationprograms so they can complete task or job use computer facilities and be motivatedto always follow the developments and advances in information technology, andencourage other parties to participate to provide assistance for other physical facilities. The problem faced by Islamic Elementary School Muhammadiyah and Islamic Elementary School Sraten Al Islam 2 Ngesrep Ngemplak Boyolali (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Sraten and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Islam 2 Ngesrep Ngemplak Boyolali ) is the absence of computers as a learning tool so that needs help and assistance are in the form of some form of computer training. Because of the availability of a number of computers that are not used in the Department of Architecture, Digital Architecture Laboratory FT-UMS and the availability of skilled human resource in the field of computers and training programs, so community service activities be held is in the form of computer assistance and training to Islamic Elementary School (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah ) teachers and students. Results of the Community Service activity is the availability of facilities or learning tool are in the form of computers and knowledge from training activities so its help teachers and students to know, study simple application program, and continue to develop skills independently through these facilities.

Abstract

Posyandu lansia wilayah Kelurahan Jetis merupakan bentuk kepedulian warga masyarakat terhadap lansia. Banyak perubahan yang terjadi saat menjadi lanjut usia seperti perubahan (fsik, kognitif, mental, spikososial dan spiritual), dengan adanya banyak perubahan tersebut dibutuhkan pelayanan yang lebih optimal. Masalah utama yang dihadapi posyandu lansia ini diantaranya keterbatasan jumlah kader, rendahnya pengetahuan serta keterampilan kader terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan dalam posyandu lansia, terbatasnya fasilitas yang ada di posyandu lansia, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang tertib administrasi di posyandu lansia, serta penguatan kelembagaan sumberdaya manusia bagi kader posyandu lansia. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang diterapkan adalah dengan pelatihan kader posyandu lansia, penguatan  sarana pelayanan posyandu, dan pendampingan pelaksanaan posyandu lansia. Hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan kader posyandu lansia yang dilakukan selama 4 bulan ini, ternyata memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengelolaan pelayanan posyandu lansia dengan sangat bagus. Semula kader belum percaya diri, belum trampil berkomunikasi dan melakukan konseling sederhana tentang kesehatan serta belum trampil membantu bidan dalam administrasi kegiatan, setelah kegiatan pengabdian ini kader lebih percaya diri, trampil dalam berkomunikasi, dan trampil dalam kegiatan administrasi posyandu. Selain peningkatan kemampuan kader tersebut, selepas kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terbentuk alur posyandu lansia sistem lima meja sehingga proses pelayanan posyandu menjadi lebih tertib dan lancar.

Abstract

The training aims at improving the capability of the trainingparticipants – teachers – for teaching Geography Information System by(1) giving information and introduction about the process in implementingSIG for the teachers of senior high schools (SMA/MA). (2) Demonstratinghow to operate the technology of geography information system and (3)socializing the existence and technological implementation system ofSIG. the methods used are speech, discussion, peer teaching and practice.The place to practice it is in the laboratory of Geography faculty of UMS.The participants are allowed to operate hardware and software of SIG.The result of pretest by using questioner and brainstorming shows thatmost of the participants master SIG in cognitive domain in comprehensionlevel for the theory of SIG, while for its operation; they are in perceptionlevel of psychomotor domain. At the end of the training, the participantsshow that there is the change of comprehension about the theory of SIGfrom cognitive level to implementation level, whereas in the operation ofSIG, the change is from perception level to implementation with guidance.The result of training is supplemented by the response of the participantswhich is appropriate to the target score. The response of the task ofidentification is the use of map and SIG in teaching Geography whichfinds that teaching Geography in senior high schools (SMA/MA) isdirected to 3 targets: 1. analyzing the impulse of physical nature and thedevelopment of the shape of the earth and its reservation. 2. Evaluatingsocial impulse in the earth and its interaction as well as its effect to ourlife and 3. Using the concept of region and graphic in understandinglocation, design, distribution and the relationship among the objectsinvolved the specification for industry.
