Abstract

Visual programming is the one programming technique in computer Science which aims to give easy understanding in writing code program. The main users of visual programming are students and people who have no experiences in making computer code and lack of computer programming language.Visual programminggives advantages to develop any kind of application software such as game and application related to education. This research was conducted to the teachers who teach Al-Quran for children learning in order to know the benefit of using visualprogramming in terms of creating an animation and game education.Several approach has been applied in this research. The first is surveying the knowledge in computer programming by using questioners. Following that, we provide a training of using visual programming and the last is conduction survey in order to know the progress of learning accuisiton.Based on the questioner’s data,it can be found that visual programming is very useful to introduce computer programming for people who have limited computer background. The data shows that 60% respondent believe that the visual programming is easy to follow, while the rest says it is hard to do. Furthermore, some of the participants are able to create simple education game

Abstract

Many Indonesian teachers of Senior High School have used a lecturing method. Indonesian learning, it is necessary for them to implement an appropriate method and have a high creativity as well as make innovation. For them, a cooperative-based learning innovation is considered difficult and costly. Therefore, they remain to implement a lecturing method. The problems are that a cooperative-based learning has seldom been implemented and they have frequently used a lecturing method. In Indonesian learning, thus, it is necessary to implement a new strategy, called paragraph development and questions-answers between students. The strategy makes the students active, creative, and pleasurable because it focuses on cooperation in its implementation.

Abstract

A web-based learning media is a learning media developed and run using website technology so that able to display learning material in the form of text, figure or graph and video which is more attractive compared to printed learning material such as moduls or text books. The observation results showed that learning processes conducting in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura and SMA Muhammadiyah 4Kartasura mainly are still using printed material. The objective of the community service is to introduce web –based learning media of volley ball and to improve skillof the teachers by conducting fundamental web development training. Firstly, a webbased volley ball learning media had been developed by using HTML5. The application has some useful features such as theoretical preview of volley ball and its technique including visualisation using graph, picture and video. Secondly, in the web development training session, a content management system (CMS) Wordpress was used as a paltform so that participants did not need to develop web from scratch. The post-tes quesionnaire results showed that all participants have knowledge and skill to use a web-based volley ball learning media and also they have acquired basic skill in web development.

Abstract

Developmentof soft skills in elementary and kindergarten students can be metthrough alearning model based Multimedia Information Communication Technology (ICT). Training development of multimedia-based instructional media and Information Communication Technology aim stop rovide skills in aking mediaan attractive multimedia learning in a way that isrelativel yeasy. The method applied in this activity is the method of presentation of the introduction of the software includes Microsoft Power Point and Wondershare. Demonstration of the method pengoperasionalisasian program and method of making the practice of instructional media directly by the participants in accord ance with their respective subjects with the use of these programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is improving knowledge and skill of quail farmer’s in waste management of quail. The management of waste is processing of organic fertilizer. The participate in the activity are quail farmer’s in RW II Sub-village Ginung, Gajahan Village, Colomadu, Karanganyar. The result of this activity in step I that is be good attention from a quail farmer’s especiality at trainning time process of product organic fertilizer. As for its result as follows; trainning and assistence quail farmer’s is followed enthusiastic fully by participant and greeted positive by head of Village Gajahan Colomadu, Karanganyar. That are many question in trainning process of product organic fertilizer. The others result in activity is a quail farmer’s started processing of product organic fertilizer in housebreed themselves. The  processing of product organic fertilizer will be clean in Gajahan Village environment and also this activity will be value added toward income quail farmer’s.

Abstract

The aim of the society services through the air broadcast in Radio of Indonesian Republic of Surakarta were: (1) to improve the society’s motivation, especially for them who were students in order to appreciate the literature; (2) to improve the society’s concerns, especially for those who students in improving their literature appreciation ability in order to attain the man who has wise character because the literature have the education values which could be the basic consideration in conducting the behaviour; (3) to enlarge the listeners’  knowledge, especilly for the students who need the knowledge of linguistics, literature, and its teaching; (4) to create the institution cooperation between the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta and the government institution i.e. Radio of Indonesian Republic o f Surakarta. The social service was conducted in RRI Surakarta, in the form of speech broadcast, based on the paper prepared before. The broadcast activity is conducted by recording before its on air. The recording process used the facility of RRI Surakarta by the guidance of RRI Surakarta staff as the responsible or the recording section. The broadcast is delivered by a speaker with the different topics but in the same theme. The broadcast theme of the three months is “Improving the Ability of Literature Appreciation through the Broadcast Guidance of Bahasa Indonsia in RRI Surakarta”. The six times broadcast activity planned for three months can be conducted four times of new broadcast and twice of recorded broadcast.
