Abstract

The aim of research to describe:  Empowerment in providing merchandise Production , distribution of merchandise and reporting results poduction units merchandise program marketing expertise Stores in Vocational High School 1 Surakarta. This study used qualitative methods. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data using credibility. Results from this study are: 1) Empowerment in the supply of merchandise can be done by: getting  from the sales,  the grocery store, and congsinyasi Checking on goods that have been purchased and distributing of goods and correctly 2)  Empowerment of distribution of goods can be done by: Human Resources and Facilities optimize existing infrastructure, designing organizational structures, systems Applying pick up the ball, and the Door to Door Sales Program. 3) Empowerment of reporting the sale of goods can be: for writing for all the transactions that occur ,reported to the head of the production unit and headmasterr regularly, distribution of profits based on the AD ART and giving rewards to the  customers.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of developing learning model of radio broadcasting as a means of facilitating cognitive competencies and life skill for the students. The purposes of this study are (1) to describe the development of radio broadcasting learning model, (2) to prove that radio broadcasting learning can teach life skill the students. The method used is research and development (R D). The research is a preliminary study that includes (1) The field study on the learning model of radio broadcasting in PBSI Veteran Bangun Nusantara University lasted 2 years; (2) Stage description and analysis of findings; (3) Phase of drafting a learning model development and test radio broadcasting limited to science communication specialists. The data used are  the Events Unit Class (SAP), the value of the fourth semester student at the college broadcasting PBSI, teaching faculty journals, and interviews. The results obtained are learning radio broadcasting fourth semester of academic year 2014/2015 was limited to conventional methods that rely lecture techniques and the use of textbooks. Students are invited to visit the study just outside the campus radio to simply look how the broadcaster broadcasts. Learning skills are not trained life skill which covers various techniques of designing a radio broadcast of the event, made a rundown of events, made hot clock radio broadcast, live events in studio practice until the practice of streaming radio.

Abstract

Being care is an important attitude that children learn. Nowadays, itbecomes more important when children grow in the environment with workingparents, gadgets, television, and individual society. Therefore, ExperimentalMangunan Kindergarten has four values, and one of the values is ‘being care’. Thisresearch was held to find how school curriculum and parents support students’ caringattitude. This is a qualitative research with grounded theory method, which is held inExperimental Mangunan Kindergarten in Yogyakarta. There are two students’ casesin this research. The respondents of the interview were taken purposively. They werethe school principal, two teachers, and the students’ parents. Data collections wereheld by observation, interview, and reading teachers’ journals. The result was thatthe two students who have not yet caring to others when first entered MangunanSchool, were grow to have caring attitude after eight months. These findings showthat school curriculum, teachers’ and parents’ relation toward kindergarten studentsare important part to grow students’ caring attitude.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: to analyze the influence of teacher perceptions of principal leadership to teacher profesionlisme, 2) to analyze the influence of achievement motivation to teacher, and 3) to analyze the influence of teacher perceptions of principal leadership and teacher achievement motivation teacher profesionlisme Elementary School District as Batang Warungasem. The quantitative approach is used in this research with population consists of all elementary school teachers as Warungasem Batang district with the status of civil servants, amounting to 190 people. The Sample are 148 people. Data collection method in this study is conducted through a questionnaire. The validity and reliability instrument have been test and that result is significant on 5%. The results showed that: 1) the teachers’ perceptions of principal leadership have a positive and significant effect to the teacher professionalism at 5%, 2) the teachers achievement motivation have a positive and significant efect to the teacher professionalism at 5% and 3) the teacher perceptions of principal leadership and teacher achievement motivation have a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism elementary School District as Warungasem Batang at 5% significance level.

Abstract

Culture is the identity of a nation, there are more than 633 large ethnic groups in Indonesia (www.bps.go.id). But there have been many Indonesian cultures that have been claimed by other countries. The low understanding of Indonesia's young generation towards culture is one of the problems faced today. Therefore the young generation needs to be reintroduced about its culture. The lack of learning media makes students' motivation in learning culture low. This study aims to: 1) conduct an analysis of the students' lack of interest in Indonesian culture, and 2) see the need for cultural media as planting cultural characters in the 4th grade. This research uses descriptive quantitative method which describes the low awareness of students towards culture. The subject of this study was 4th grade students at SD N Triharjo. Based on the results of media needs, the accumulation of students understanding culture is 31.17% due to the lack of learning media about culture. The existence of Pop Up media is expected to help teachers in introducing culture among elementary students

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: to describe the planning design and the implementation of the system as well as describe the public response to the school. The methods used in this study is a qualitatif approach, that is by interviewing, observing, and documenting as the data collection techniques. The planning of system design, is begun by doing a needs analysis that will be “shared” through SMS access, i.e student’s attendance, the student’s scores, and the notices to the student’s parents. The system implementation is applied to two users groups. They are internal user and external user. From the results of the test of system implementation it is obtained that the timeliness rate is 6.8 seconds, the accuracy of the system is 100 %, and reliability rate is 100%, and the operating procedure is quite easy and familiar. While the public response fully supports the implementation of academic information system, because it can be accessed anytime, and averywhere through SMS, as well as can foster a public positive image to the school, because of the changes and improvements made by the school especially in the academic services as a new breakthrough in the field of technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the attitude of patriotism planting in extracurricular activities scouts on the General Terms and Conditions Skills Special Skills in Dabin 5 UPTD Wirosari Subdistrict Grobogan. Type ethnographic qualitative research design. The research subjects principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques to the analysis of the flow of the process of data collection, data reduction, display, and verification, conclusion. The validity of the data sources and data triangulation. The research result is habituation attitude of patriotism at the General Proficiency Requirements can memorize at least three daily prayers, prayers can carry, can maintain the cleanliness of the room school or place of worship, is able to help someone in the vicinity, following the flag ceremony with wisdom. Exemplary attitude of patriotism at the General Proficiency Requirements can use Indonesian well and correctly, not littering, can show true deference to the Red and White Flag, can be memorized to sing the national anthem Indonesia Raya. SKK is used to apply the attitude of patriotism is SKK singer, conductor SKK, SKK P3K, SKK Explorer / Searching for Traces, SKK Camping, SKK Greening.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify level and patterns of metacognitive awareness among teachers in primary schools. This study focuses on aspects of declarative knowledge, procedural knowledge, conditional knowledge, planning, monitoring and evaluation of teachers. The study was descriptive in nature. A sample of 100 primary school teachers in Puchong, Selangor answered the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory for Teacher by Cem Balcikanli (2011). The data analysis was carried out using IBM Statistics version 24 to obtain descriptive measures. The results show that levels of metacognitive awareness among teachers are high at ninety three percent (93%). The results also show that there are no significant differences by gender, age, teaching experience, academic qualification and subject of teaching among primary school teachers. The metacognitive framework shows that metacognition knowledge and regulatory expertise were used by individuals to control their cognition. Teachers who have a higher level of metacognitive awareness can produce students with good academic achievement.

Abstract

Most  of  Muhammadiyah  universities  in  specific  region  of  Yogyakarta  have  not implemented yet the quality assurance, exactly it demands both in the society and government that cannot be avoided . Therefore, this study aims to find a specific model of quality assurance in the university environment Muhammadiyah as an attempt to answer the demands in this atas. This research is qualitative research with a target of six colleges in the Muhammadiyah state uni- versities in specific region of Yogyakarta and Central Java. Those are Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, University of Ahmad Dahlan, Muhammadiyah University of Magelang, Muham- madiyah University of Surakarta, Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo and Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. The procedure adopted to find the model of quality assurance through theoretical studies, collecting data from informants about the aspects that should be subjected to quality assurance, modeling and verification of quality assurance models. Data collection was carried out with questionnaire, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed with a description of the data, the analysis of flows (Flow Analysis), and contingency. The results of this study consist of two models: Model for quality assurance in learning and quality assurance models for lecturers. The  forms of quality assurance is a combination of a standard element of the quality of academic and ideologies of Muhammadiyah, while the quality assurancer are the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership, Daily Executive Agency (BPH) and the Directorate General of Higher Education. The quality assurance models found through networking opinion, in-depth interviews and document the aspects that should be subject to quality assurance to college Mu- hammadiyah Yogyakarta and Central Java. The advantages of the quality model assurance are efficiency in cost and simple in the tools and mechanism that fit to the character of Muhammadi- yah state universities. The mechanism of the model is done by committed leadership begins, then formulate the quality standards by the elements of quality assurance later implemented through institutional self-assessment and faculty independently. The development and ideology of the aca- demic community is done through the assessment.
