Abstract

The article presents the Biased Random Key Genetic Algorithm-Population Degradation (BRKGA-PD) design for completing Capacitated Closed Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows (CCVRPTW) on soft drink distributions that have been studied by Sembiring (2008). The goal is to determine some closed routes in meeting consumer demand with time limits and limit the capacity of vehicles used, so the total cost of distribution is minimal. The proposed algorithm adopts the extinction of population size. BRKGA-PD is coded using Matlab programming with the best parameter setting. The resulting solution is a subrute with a minimum of distribution fee. This algorithm is compared with two other methods, namely BRKGA general and heuristic methods. The results of this study can be concluded that the BRKGA-PD method is able to improve the general BRKGA because with a time difference that is not significant can provide cost savings of Rp. 6.857,- and BRKGA-PD is better than heuristic method because it can save more cost Rp. 87.000,-.

Abstract

The quality of product is reflected from the performance of its process. The most frequent issue that occurs in local company today -- is -- most company only focuses on the output regardless the process. It causes the difficulty that occurs in local company to compete with other company in global environment. One of the local companies that has their business shifting up significantly, with the great number of export target and actual export, is PT Dharma Medipro, which has many processes on the production of sphygmomanometer. One of the processes that critical to quality is latex dipping process, where the yield of this process that must be considered is the thickness of the bag component. In order to improve the process, we should first establish the measurement of process performance using capability process technique, which is one of the tools came from statistical process control method. The result indicates that the process is unstable with the value of capability indices Cp = 4,69 ; Cpk = -0,77 ; Cpu = -0,77 ; Cpl = 10,15 ; and Cpm = 0,28, moreover the number of part per million (PPM) that out of the spesification limit reach 912.500 units.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitianian ini untuk mengukur spcsifikasi rnutu produk, apakah produk dalam lot dapat diterima atau tidak. Pemeriksaan dengan sampling  diharapkan mengefisienkan biaya, tenaga dan waktu. Metode penelitian ini dengan observasi dan praktek secara langsung dilapangan. Dari pengumpulan dan pengolahan data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemeriksaan normal, dan lemah MII. STD 1051. Kecacatan dapat diterima.   Tetapi untuk penerimaan ketat hanya 2  sampel saja yang   diterima.   Dengan demikian pihak perusahaan menggunakan penerimaan normal agar data sampel diterima. Pemeriksaan sampling jauh lebih menguntungkan daripada full   inspection,   karena   dalam segi waktu,  tenaga dan biaya dapat lebih minimal. Sehingga kelancaran produksi dapat terjaga.

Abstract

Lemuru fisheries in Bali strait, Muncar, Banyuwangi has strategic role for fish canning industries. Sardinella lemuru has low economic value as fresh fish but high as fish canning. Fisheres production system must be viewed as a whole value added system, starting from landing site at fisheries port to fish processing industries and distributed to the consumers. Lemuru from Muncar fishery port are distributed to canning industries, cold storage, flour and fish oil industries. This research aims to (1) describe fish distribution pattern from landing site to industries, (2) determine fish processing cost in industries, (3) determine the economic added value of lemuru as various products. Data collection method are interview with fisher and industries, direct observation and secondary data from research report and scientific publication. Cost in fish processing industries is classified as investment cost, operating cost and overhead cost. The totalcost will becompared to the product price, from which the differenceis theadded value.  Value-added creation also considers the conversion rate between fresh fish products into finished products. Research  shows that, among the fish processing industries under consideration, canning industry has highest added value in the amount of USD 3.5 million/ton of finished product. For the canning industry, every 1 ton of fish can equal be converted to 1,5 ton of canned fish products. Flour and fish oil industry, in the meantime, generates added value of Rp 2.3million/ton. Finally, cold storage industry has lowest added value of 1.8 million/ton of product. Cold storage industry produces frozen fish and has a function for storing fish production in the harvest season.

Abstract

CV Poetra Mandiri Karton is a company that has not been able to meet production target each day.  Based on preliminary analysis, production underproduction was due to workers’ fatigue caused by manual material handling activities in the entire production process.  To solve these problems, nordic body map (NBM) approach was applied.  Prior to work, workers experienced musculoskeletal fatigue at down waist, and they experienced musculoskeletal fatigue at up waist, left forearm, right forearm, left hand, right hand, left ankle, and right ankle after work. Based on questionnaire of National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), average of mental workload from all three groups is quite heavy.  By using rapid entire body assessment (REBA), it is found that average value of the risk in group 1 and group 2 requires immediate action, whereas action is required by the third group.  This article also presents a trolley design that will be used in manual material handling activities.

Abstract

The halal food served in restaurants is important for Muslim consumers and it is one of the most susceptible issues for restaurant business. Therefore, restaurant internal efforts to ensure the halal food by examining critical risks including the way to manage them become important to be execute by restaurant management. This research aims to create a model using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to identify and analyze the existing risks. Moreover, it also explains some improvement programs toward the risk management. The results of the risk identification and analysis will be determined by using Risk Priority Number (RPN). It is categorized that 7% risk event is classified as ‘very high risk’, 50% as ‘high risk’, 25% as ‘moderate risk’, and 18% considered as ‘low risk’. Furthermore, the improvement programs explained in this research are about delivery order system, packaging improvement, and also training, reward and punishment system. These programs are mainly purposed to reduce the risk with ‘high risk’ category.

Abstract

Water is one of the food products analyzed in water chemistry and environmental laboratories. One of the parameters analyzed are organic substances. The number of samples that were not comparable with the analytical skills can cause delays in test results. Analytical Hierarchy Process applied to evaluate the analytical methods used. Alternative methods tested include titrimetric method, spectrophotometry, and total organic carbon (TOC). Respondents consisted of deputy technical manager, laboratory coordinator, and two senior analysts. Alternative results obtained are methods of TOC. Proposed improvements alternative analytical method based on the results obtained, the method of the TOC with a 10-15 minute analysis time and use of CRM to the validity of the analysis results.

Abstract

The article identifies the criteria for choosing a trade show and develops a basic model of exhibition selection for creative industry players before deciding to participate in a trade show. It is necessary to ensure that expenses in terms of business, money, and time, will be worth the results. Based on literature review and interviews, six criteria were used, namely location, booth position, organizational reputation, cost estimation, prestige, and reputation of other participants. After selection criteria are identified, then calculations are performed to measure the criteria weight by using the AHP approach. Based on weight calculations, it was found that booth positions had the highest importance weight, followed by trade show location, organizers reputation, cost estimation, prestige and reputation of other participants. The weight value is then used to calculate the trade shows prediction value. The predicted value generated from the model is then compared to the value of the past data. The model has an accuracy rate of 89% and does not have a significant difference between the value generated by the model and the value of the past data.

Abstract

Depression or mental stress is not happen to adults only. Children and adolescents may also experience depression. About 5 percent of children and adolescents in Indonesia suffer depression.  Depression prevalent in schools and in their families. Behavior change is a sign of depression, such as suddenly said he wanted to die or living alone. Early diagnosis and treatment are very important for children and adolescents depressed. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) are forms of individual therapy proven to be effective in treating depression, in addition to the use of antidepressant drugs. The author makes a system of early detection of depressive disorders in children and adolescents, to monitor children and adolescents suffer from depression or not. The system used in the early detection utilizing web technology and mobile phone. Monitoring and inputting existing symptoms in children and adolescents is done through a test of depression. Test depression then processed and entered into a database. Test results will indicate the degree of depression based on the scores. With that score, the degree of depressed children and adolescents monitored can be concluded.

Abstract

Tujuan   dalam   penelitian     ini  adalah   mengidentifikasi     dan   mengetahui     tanggapan    sikap kepuasan    konsumen    terhadap   kondisi   motor  Sanex  serta  membuktikan     opini  masyarakat apakah    benar,   motor   Sanex   tidak   handal.   Metode    yang   digunakan    angket,    observasi. dokumentasi,      studi    pus taka    dan    wawancara.     !vietode    analisis     butir    angket    yang digunakan     adalah    validitas    dan   reliabilitas.    Analisis    kepuasan    dengan    menggunakan skala   guttman,    yaitu   metode   scalogram    atau  analisa   skala   (scale  analisis)   sangat    baik untuk   meyakinkan    peneliti    tentang   kesatuan   dimensi   dari  sikap   atau  sifat  yang   diteliti, yang  disebut   isi universal    (universe   ofcontent)    atau  atribut  universal   (universe   attribute). Berdasarkan    hasil  penelitian    dari  J 5 butir  angket   dan  37  responden    (populasi),    obyek  di kecamatan    Juwiring    Klaten,   bahwa  dinyatakan    J 3 butir  valid  dan  reliabel. Berdasarkan analisis    atribut   yang   dianggap    penting    oleh  para    responden    sesuai   prioritas     adalah kelengkapan    produk    8.05%,   kenyamanan     7.74%,   daya   tahan   7.14%.  akselerasi     7.35%. responsivitas     7.91%,  performa    produk 7.98%.      design  produk 7.42%.     speare  paris   7.14%, harga   beli  8.68%.   harga  puma   jual   7.35%.  mengikuti    ternd   7.63%.   wama    7.28%.     dan iril bahan   bakar  8.33%.   Terdapat   5 atribut  yang  masuk  dalam  kategori   sikap  sangat  puas yaitu   kelengkapan    produk,    responsivitas,    performa   produk, harga   beli,  irit  bahan   bakar. Sedangkan    untuk  atribut   yang   masuk   da/am  kategori   sikap  puas   ada  delapan   ( 8 ) yaitu kenyamanan,     daya   tahan,   akselerasi,    design   produk,    speare   parts,    harga   puma    jual, mengikuti     trend   dan   warna.   Dari   hasil   penelitian     tentang    sikap   kepuasan    pengguna motor   Sanex   di  daerah   Juwiring    Klaten   dapat   ditarik   kesimpulan     bahwa  persepsi    a/au opini   masyarakat     bahwa   motor   Sanex   tidak  handal   tidak   terbukti,   dalam   artian   bahwa motor  Sanex  mempunyai    beberapa   kelebihan   dan  mempunyai    beberapa   kekurangan.
