Abstract

Abstract— Leaves recognition can use an image edge detection method. In this research, the classification of mango gadung and manalagi will be performed. In the preprocess stage edge detection method using adaptive ant colony optimization method. The use of adaptive ant colony optimization method aims to optimize the process of edge detection of a mango leaves the bone image. The application of ant colony optimization method on mango leaves classification has successfully optimized the result of edge detection of a mango leaves the bone structure. Results showed edge detection using adaptive ant colony optimization method better than Roberts and Sobel method. The result an experiment of mango leaves classification with k-nearest neighbor method get accuracy value equal to 66,25%, whereas with the method of support vector machine obtained accuracy value equal to 68,75%.Keywords— Edge Detection, Ant Colony Optimization, Classification, K-Nearest Neighbor, Support Vector Machine

Abstract

Most of the technologies of today’s world, which are enriched with various powerful features and amazing quality characteristics, enables software developers to come up with best possible software solutions, no matter what the context of the particular issue. Technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), is utilized almost every kind of fields in today’s society. As computers become more advanced through mobile devices and wearable technology, augmented reality will become a seamless experience that is a part of our everyday lives. In the context of this work, an Intelligence mobile navigation application for the King Abdul Aziz University Rabigh is developed enabling the user to find specific locations on campus and offers the ability to explore the campus environment via AR. Furthermore, the system, Mobile Campus Navigation with Augmented Reality application is capable of giving guidance in outdoor location navigating and retrieving details of campus officials and lecturers. With the proposed system, it is expected to serve as a useful and informative navigate helper for both students of King Abdul Aziz University and for the visitors, at outdoor locations and to use as an application to check officials and lecturer availability and retrieve detail about them when they are not available at the office at any time.

Abstract

Abstrak— Layanan sistem informasi akademik yang sudah digunakan beberapa tahun terakhir, pada dasarnya bertujuan untuk memberikan dukungan terpenuhinya kebutuhan proses akademik di kampus. Namun, seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, diperlukan evaluasi agar efektivitas dari penggunaan sistem tersebut dapat diketahui, sehingga sistem informasi akademik tersebut dapat terus dikembangkan atau ditingkatkan. Selama ini dalam mengembangkan layanan sistem informasi berbasis web kurang memperhatikan faktor usabilitas dari pengguna, padahal pengembangan website yang berkualitas membutuhkan desain kegunaan dan evaluasi dari keterpaduan interaksi manusia dan komputer, aspek kognitif, teknik psikologi dan perangkat lunak. Dalam penelitian ini, untuk mengukur kualitas layanan berbasis web menggunakan kombinasi metode ServQual dan WebQual dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM, yang secara efektif untuk menangani multikolinieritas (jika banyak variabel yang sangat berkorelasi), karena membuatnya lebih kuat dari faktor analisis dan regresi berganda dalam evaluasi usabilitas. Hasil pengukuran menggunakan SEM menunjukkan bahwa jika variabel subyektif (ServQual) dari indeks usabilitas ditingkatkan, maka variabel obyektif dari indeks usabilitas (WebQual) juga akan meningkat secara signifikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek-aspek obyektif dan subjektif yang menjadi faktor penilaian usabilitas mendapatkan hasil yang baik dan memuaskan dari hampir semua responden dalam menggunakan layanan sistem informasi akademik kampus XYZ. Kata Kunci— Sistem Informasi, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), Usabilitas, WebQual, ServQualAbstract— The Services of academic information systems already used last few years. Basically, its aim to support the fulfillment of the academic process on campus. However, over time, is needed in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of such systems can be known so that academic information system that can be developed or improved. During this time in developing a web-based information system services less attention on the reusability of the user, whereas the development of quality website design requires the use and evaluation of the integration of human and computer interaction, cognitive, psychological and software engineering. In this study, to measure the quality of web-based services using a combination of methods ServQual and WebQual and analyzed using SEM, which is effective to handle multicollinearity (if a lot of variables that are highly correlated), because it makes it more powerful than the factor analysis and regression in the evaluation usability. The measurement results using SEM showed that if a subjective variable (ServQual) on enhanced usability index, then the objective of the index variable reusability (WebQual) will also be increased significantly.The results of this study indicate that aspects of the objective and the subjective factor in the assessment of reusability get good results and satisfying of almost all respondents in using academic information system. Keywords— Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), Usability, WebQual, ServQual

Abstract

The existence of software should have more value to improve the performance of the organization in addition to having the primary function to automate. Before being implemented in an operational environment, software must pass the test gradually to ensure that the software is functioning properly, meeting user needs and providing convenience for users to use it. This test is performed on a web-based application, by taking a test case in an e-SAP application. E-SAP is an application used to monitor teaching and learning activities used by a university in Jakarta. To measure software quality, testing can be done on users randomly. The user samples selected in this test are users with an age range of 18 years old up to 25 years, background information technology. This test was conducted on 30 respondents. This test is done by using Mc Call model. Model of testing Mc Call consists of 11 dimensions are grouped into 3 categories. This paper describes the testing with reference to the category of product operation, which includes 5 dimensions. The dimensions of testing performed include the dimensions of correctness, usability, efficiency, reliability, and integrity. This paper discusses testing on each dimension to measure software quality as an effort to improve performance. The result of research is e-SAP application has good quality with product operation value equal to 85.09%. This indicates that the e-SAP application has a great quality, so this application deserves to be examined in the next stage on the operational environment.

Abstract

Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem pendukung keputusan untuk pemilihan siswa berprestasi di SMP Taruna Jaya I Surabaya dengan metode VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) dan Technique for Order Preferences by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Sistem pendukung keputusan ini dibangun melalui 6 tahap. Tahap pertama adalah pengumpulan data dan informasi melalui wawancara dan analisis dokumen. Tahap kedua adalah pengolahan data dan informasi untuk mendapatkan rancangan sistem yang akan dibangun. Tahap ketiga adalah analisis sistem yang meliputi input data siswa, pembobotan kriteria dengan metode AHP, serta perankingan alternatif dengan metode VIKOR dan TOPSIS. Tahap keempat adalah perancangan sistem menggunakan konsep Object Oriented Design. Tahap kelima adalah implementasi sistem berbasis web. Tahap terakhir adalah evaluasi sistem dengan membandingkan tingkat akurasi antara metode VIKOR dan TOPSIS. Berdasarkan hasil uji konsistensi, terdapat 7 percobaan yang tidak konsisten dan 13 percobaan yang konsisten. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah tingkat akurasi yang tertinggi sebesar 80% dengan menggunakan TOPSIS. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka metode TOPSIS dapat digunakan pada kasus pemilihan siswa berprestasi di SMP Taruna Jaya I Surabaya dengan derajat kepentingan antar kriteria adalah nilai aktivitas sedikit lebih penting dari nilai rapot, nilai aktivitas lebih penting dari nilai prestasi, nilai aktivitas sangat kuat penting dari nilai sikap, nilai rapot sedikit lebih penting dari nilai prestasi, nilai rapot lebih penting dari nilai sikap, dan nilai prestasi sedikit lebih penting dari nilai sikap.Kata Kunci— AHP, Pemilihan Siswa Berprestasi, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, TOPSIS, VIKORAbstract— This research proposes a solution to create a decision support system of student achievement selection using VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) and Technique for Order Preferences by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The decision support system would resolve the problem of big data processing which needs more effort and more time. The development of decision support system of student achievement selection consisted of 6 phases. The first phase was collecting the data and information via interviews and document analysis. The second phase was data processing to create system design. The third phase was analyzing the system that includes the input of student data, weighing the criteria using AHP method, and rank the alternatives using VIKOR and TOPSIS method. The fourth phase was designing the system using Object Oriented Design. The fifth phase was implementing the system using a web-based. The sixth phase was the evaluation of system by comparing the level of accuracy between VIKOR and TOPSIS methods. Based on the result of consistency test, there were 7 inconsistent experiments and 13 consistent experiments. The result obtained is the highest accuracy rate of 80% by using TOPSIS. Based on these results, TOPSIS method can be used in case of selection of outstanding students in SMP Taruna Jaya I Surabaya with degree of importance among the criteria is activity value was slightly more important than report value, activity value was more important than achievement value, activity value was very important from attitude value, report value was slightly more important than achievement value, report value was more important than attitude value, and achievement value was slightly more important than attitude value.Keywords— AHP, Decision Support System, Student Achievement Selection , TOPSIS, VIKOR

Abstract

Abstrak— Palembang Guide merupakan perangkat lunak penyedia informasi sarana pendukung pelaksanaan Asian Games XVIII yang berisikan informasi venue olahraga, fasilitas transportasi, objek wisata, restoran, toko (mall), hotel, tempat pengisian bahan bakar, fasilitas kesehatan, pos kemanan, kantor pemerintahan dan institusi pendidikan. Perangkat lunak ini dikembangkan sesuai dengan instruksi presiden Republik Indonesia tentang persiapan pelaksanaan Asian Games tahun 2018. Untuk menjamin perangkat lunak Palembang Guide layak untuk digunakan oleh pengguna akhir maka dilakukan pengujian antarmuka menggunakan instrumen system usability scale (SUS). Pengujian antarmuka dengan instrumen SUS telah dilakukan secara terstruktur dan terukur secara akurat menggunakan 10 pernyataan sebagai tolak ukur penilaian. Hasil pengujian antarmuka perangkat lunak Palembang Guide dengan instrumen SUS memperlihatkan skor penilaian berada pada angka 83 yang berarti perangkat lunak Palembang Guide dinyatakan dapat diterima (acceptable) dan termasuk dalam grade A dan B dengan rating excellent. Dengan demikian perangkat lunak Palembang Guide dapat dijadikan salah satu alternative alat bantu bagi masyarakat dalam mencari tempat tempat sarana prasarana pendukung yang dibutuhkan berkaitan dengan Asian Games XVIII di Kota Palembang. Kata Kunci— System Usability Scale, Antarmuka, Asian Games XVIIIAbstract— Palembang Guide is software that providing information for supporting Asian Games XVIII which contains information about sports venues, transportation facilities, tourist destination, restaurants, store (malls), hotels, refueling station, hospital, police, offices, and education. Palembang Guide is developed based on the presidential instruction of the Republic of Indonesia on preparations for the Asian Games 2018. To ensure the Palembang Guide is feasible to be used by users, it needs to test using usability scale instrument (SUS).Testing Palembang Guide interface with SUS instrument has been done in a structured and accurately measured using 10 statements as a benchmark assessment. The Palembang Guide interface test result with SUS instrument shows the scoring score is at number 83 that means Palembang Guide is declared acceptable and classified into grade A and B with an excellent rating. Based on the testing result of Palembang Guide can be used as an alternative tool for the community in searching for supporting infrastructure related to Asian Games XVIII in Palembang.Keywords— System Usability Scale, Interface, Asian Games XVIII

Abstract

The online store is changing people’s shopping behavior. Despite the fact, the potential customer’s distrust in the quality of products and service is one of the online store’s weaknesses. A review is provided by the online stores to overcome this weakness. Customers often write a review using languages that are not well structured. Sentiment analysis is used to extract the polarity of the unstructured texts. This research attempted to do a sentiment analysis in the sales review. Sentiment analysis in sales reviews can be used as a tool to evaluate the sales. This research intends to conduct a sentiment analysis in the sales review of Indonesian marketplace by utilizing Support Vector Machine and Naive Bayes. The reviews of the data are gathered from one of Indonesian marketplace, Bukalapak. The data are classified into positive or negative class. TF-IDF is used to feature extraction. The experiment shows that Support Vector Machine with linear kernel provides higher accuracy than Naive Bayes. Support Vector Machine shows the highest accuracy average. The generated accuracy is 93.65%. This approach of sentiment analysis in sales review can be used as the base of intelligent sales evaluation for online stores in the future.

Abstract

Abstrak— Rumah Sakit Universitas Airlangga (RSUA) merupakan sarana pelayanan kesehatan yang dikelola di bawah naungan Universitas Airlangga. Seiring berjalannya proses bisnis, jumlah pasien RSUA yang semakin bertambah menyebabkan data kunjungan pasien rawat jalan yang harus dikelola oleh bagian rekam medis semakin banyak. Data tersebut dikelola untuk digunakan dalam pembuatan laporan. Informasi dalam laporan dihasilkan melalui perhitungan secara manual atau menggunakan formula Microsoft Excel menjadi kendala dalam pembuatan laporan selain adanya kebutuhan laporan dengan format beragam dan analisis multidimensional. Data warehouse berbasis Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) dapat diterapkan untuk menangani masalah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun data warehouse berbasis OLAP agar dapat digunakan oleh bagian rekam medis RSUA dalam pembuatan laporan. Data warehouse dibangun melalui tujuh tahap yaitu analisis, desain, proses ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading), penerapan OLAP, uji coba, eksplorasi untuk hasil laporan dan analisis, serta evalusi. Perancangan data warehouse menggunakan Nine Step Methodology dengan pemodelan berupa fact constellation schema. Hasil implementasi data warehouse adalah aplikasi OLAP yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu kinerja bagian rekam medis RSUA dalam pembuatan laporan, baik berupa tabel pivot maupun grafik. Penilaian pengguna terhadap sistem data warehouse menunjukkan kategori baik dengan hasil penilaian sebesar 73.61 persen. Kata Kunci— Data Warehouse, Rawat Jalan, ETL, Nine Step Methodology, OLAPAbstract— Airlangga University Hospital is a health care facilities managed by the auspices of Airlangga University. Increasing number of patients in RSUA caused more outpatients’ visits data must be managed by the medical record unit. The data was used to report making. The information in the reports generated through manual calculation or used function of Microsoft Excel became a problem of report making in addition to their reporting needs with diverse formats and multidimensional analysis. Data warehouse based on Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) could implemented to solved the problem. The goal of this research were to designing and implementing the data warehouse based on OLAP so it could be used by medical record unit to making report. Data warehouse was implemented in seven process : analysis, design, ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading), implementing OLAP, trial, explore the report and analysis, and evaluation. Design of data warehouse were using Nine Step Methodology and fact constellation schema model.The outcome of this research was an OLAP application that can used to help the task of RSUA medical record unit to making report using pivot table or chart. Abstract

Retrieval is one of the stages in case-based reasoning system which find a solution to new problem or case by measuring the similarity between the new case and old cases in the case base. Some of the similarity measurement techniques are involving feature weights that show the importance of the feature in a case. Feature weights can be obtained from a domain expert or by using a feature weighting method either locally or globally. Gradient descent is the feature weighting method which computes global weights for each feature. This research implemented gradient descent to obtain feature weights in case-based reasoning for hepatitis diagnosis and the similarity measurement using weighted Euclidean distance. There are four variations number of case base and test data that used in this research, those are: the first variation using 50% of data as case base and 50% as test data second variation using 60% of data as case base and 40% as test data, third variation using 70% of data as case base and 30% as test data and fourth variation using 80% of data as case base and 20% as test data. For each variation, using 4 kinds of scenario to mark the test data those are in first scenario the test data mark at the end of data, in second scenario the test data mark at the begin of data, in third scenario the test data mark half at the begin and half at the end of data and in the fourth scenario the test data mark in the middle of data. The result of this research showed that the accuracy of the system reaches 100% at scenario 1 in variation 4. Overall of all four variations and four kinds of scenario, the average accuracy of the system was 77.55%, average recall of system was 69.74%, and the average of precision was 78.39%. In addition, the level of accuracy was also influenced by the number of case base and the scenario of case selection for the case base. This is because more cases in the case base, the chances of a system to finding similar cases will be more.

Abstract

Universities have assumed an increasingly important role in transferring technology to society with a strong economic impact. The companies originated from the academic environment, called academic spin-offs, have fostered the appearance of new projects based on emerging technologies and knowledge, created by young students and researchers who seek to launch their own business and generate new jobs in society. However, the number of existing studies on academic spin-offs is limited and restricted to the specific national realities, and the results of these studies are typically incorporated only in scientific manuscripts. In this sense, this study proposes a web platform that allows the analysis of academic spin-offs according to multiple dimensions, such as firm, institutions, individual, localization, science parks, financial data and corporate actions. The application is built exclusively in open source technologies and allows data to be explored in real-time and interactively. The results obtained allow us to evaluate the behavior of the application regarding fundamental elements in the success of the adoption of a Web application, such as usability, security, interoperability and portability.
