Abstract

Basically, a person's success is not determined solely by technical knowledge and abilities, but rather by the ability to manage oneself and others. The research objectives were (1) Application of character education for students of MIN I Kapuas Hulu; (2) The use of character learning designs for students of MIN I Kapuas Hulu; (3) Factors that influence the character of students of MIN I Kapuas Hulu. This research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri I Kapuas Hulu. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study (1) The implementation of character education for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri I Kapuas Hulu, through habituation or school culture such as habituation of shaking hands, saying greetings, praying sunnah dhuha, are activities carried out in a school environment that instill character values ​​by basic concept of mission: carry out moral guidance according to Islamic principles. The stage of implementing the habituation or school culture by directing, inviting, modeling and giving examples; (2) The method of learning the character of students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri I Kapuas Hulu, through a variety of methods, by always trying to incorporate material into character values ​​(Reflective). And provide advices, directions, exhortation, tausiyah, to always do good in accordance with Islamic values, which is done before or after or in between the delivery of material; (3) The factors that influence the character of students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri I Kapuas Hulu, in character education are a form of support from the family environment (parents), the school environment, and the community environment and other stakeholders, which also influence the values ​​of children's character through the level of attention , compassion, and guidance.

Abstract

Mohammad Iqbal is a Muslim of modern philosopher which greatly affects the world of education up to now. His concept about ego is the basic stand for his all of concept building. In addition, the Muhammad Iqbal’s basic of Islamic education concept are creative, dynamic, innovative and full of vitality. Based on his basic view about human especially his philosophy concept about ego, a thought about Islamic education is dynamic, innovative, and full of vitality. a). The essence of Iqbal’s Islamic education is all power or process done continually. They help to improve one’s individuality based on Islamic teaching in order to be ready in entering the world’s civilization which is full of dynamics and changings. b). The aim of Islamic education is the realization of one’s individuality perfectness to be an insan kamil. c). According to Iqbal the phases of Islamic education are obey upon the laws, self authority and God leadership. d). The material of Iqbal’s Islamic education emphasizes on the fusion of religion studies, cultural history, science and physics, psychology, metaphysics, social studies and literature. e). The education methods offered by Iqbal are experiment, trial and error, project and social structure. The paradigm used within Iqbal’s philosophy concept is constructive paradigm. Meanwhile the values within the construction of Iqbal’s Islamic education are: God oneness, moral, intelligence, and social education values.

Abstract

This Artiel examines the tadzkirah strategy in instilling the character values ​​of students in MAN insan chili sambas, West Kalimantan. This study is more focused on aspects (1) Learning Planning for Akidah Akhlak in Instilling Student Character in MAN Insan Cendekia Sambas, (2) how is the tadzkirah strategy in instilling character in students at MAN Insan Cendekia Sambas. This research uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that (1) to formulate learning objectives, we should pay attention to the material to be delivered, the student's health condition, their abilities and the supporting facilities to be used. The learning materials chosen should be tailored to the needs of students, the list of materials listed in the syllabus and the material has something to do with moral development. Considering the selection of teaching methods, the goals to be achieved, the conditions of students and teachers, and the environment around the school, collaboration methods such as (lecture methods, stories, discussions, exercises, assignments, demonstrations), group work and exemplary, (2) as for strategies tadzkirah in planning akidah akhlak learning in instilling student character values ​​in MAN Insan Cendekia Sambas, is to pray before the learning process, preparation of classroom situations in general, preparation of conditions for students who will receive material, preparation of material to be delivered, preparation of methods, media and assessment .Religious and sociological approaches. While the effective media used in learning akidah akhlak to instill the character values ​​of students in MAN Insan Cendekia Sambas are the facilities of the mosque and the school environment.

Abstract

The Artiel examines the strategy of understanding worship in exceptional children. This research was conducted at the Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Sambas, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. This study focuses on the aspects of how the strategies used in Islamic religious education teachers provide understanding to children in foreign schools. This research uses a qualitative approach. The results of the analysis of this study conclude that the strategies used by Islamic religious education teachers include accustoming congregational prayer and accustoming good morals in the school environment and at home, Islamic religious education teachers report learning outcomes to parents, Islamic religious education teachers provide good examples of students, Islamic religious education teachers run the principal's program, Islamic religious education teachers provide mutual supervision of students in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Islamic education is actually an effort to realize the spirit of Islam, as an effort to create a life that is imbued with Islamic values. Then, with this Islamic spirit, the joints of life in society are built. The purpose of Islamic education is the formation of noble morals, preparation for the life of the world and the hereafter, cultivating a scientific spirit in lessons, preparing professional students as well as maintaining spirituality and religion. The author interprets the letter as-Sajdah verse 5, that in fact the essence of management is regularity. Everything has been arranged by Allah according to its level, however humans do not just stand idly by. Because the essence of this regular is how all people play their part in life. There are many things a person can do in his life to achieve his life goals. In the process of getting to the goal, there will be interactions among humans. The manager in an Islamic education institution is the principal of the school. The principal has the role and responsibility to plan and manage all activities in the school. The management is carried out by involving all educators and education staff, so that the learning process can be maximized. This action involves all educators and education personnel in schools, in accordance with their respective main tasks and functions. There is no easy achievement without going through the stages of management.

Abstract

The world of Pesantren is always interesting and there is no end to it to be discussed and discussed. Because in it there are many uniqueness that cannot be found in other educational institutions besides pesantren. The pesantren referred to here is the kholafi pesantren (pesantren which contains religious knowledge as well as general knowledge). In this modern era, most parents prefer to entrust and send their children to educational institutions that have and pay attention to religious content. The concerns that arise must also be balanced with the awareness of massive changes taking place. So that individuals who live and experience shifting demands of the present do not take a wrong step in responding to all the changes that exist. The development of educational institutions is inseparable from the role of the leader in control of an educational institution. This research has the aim that the founders of madrasah or Islamic boarding schools can adopt the methods or strategies of other pesantren so that they can continue to exist in the midst of this millennial era. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely by collecting data, documents and interviews with several sources. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, namely research where information is obtained by describing the existing phenomena. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of learning Physics that runs in MA Darul Ulum Purwogondo and the process of internalization of the values of Islamic education in the subjects of Physics. The results showed that of the materials that are taught in the learning of Physics, there are some material relation to the Islamic education such as the theory of relativity where the theory is related to the events of isra’ mi'raj the Prophet Muhammad which relate to the speed of light is the highest speed in this universe, no one can compete except the will and power of Allah SWT. The efforts made by the Physics teacher in the internalise the values of Islamic education in subjects of Physics in MA Darul Ulum Purwogondo include: 1) Implementing the learning methods which vary according to the material being taught, 2) Instill the value of- the value of Islamic education by being role models of good, 3) Undertake the development of the subject matter of Physics with the way of the development of the syllabus, 4) Gives understanding to students about the internalization of the values of Islamic education in materials Physics in depth based on the Al-qu'ran and the Hadith, and 5) Be a teacher who is nurturing students with the approach of the individual can also become a friend.

Abstract

Indonesia has a population of more than 240 million people with hundreds of ethnic groups and all their substances, has the potential for inter-ethnic conflict, if each ethnic group does not have an attitude of tolerance between one another. To address this, the role of education in providing an understanding of tolerance is very much needed. This study aims to describe the implementation of multicultural education in educational practice. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach to the literature study method. The results of the research are that multicultural education is a means of understanding the importance of tolerance through the design of cultural competencies in the form of: 1) individual competence to respect, 2) cultural competence and 3) cultural competence development by concocting 4 factors involved in the learning process, which are related to factors : 1) the character of the students, 2) the nature of the teacher, 3) the pedagogy and 4) the content of the curriculum.

Abstract

Parental parenting is a pattern of interaction between parents and children during the nurture and care period with the aim of guiding and educating their children in a better life in a family environment. The role of the family, especially parents, is very important in educating children in terms of religious, social, and individual reviews so that they are able to foster the development of children's personalities into adult humans who have positive attitudes towards religion, strong and independent personalities, physical and spiritual potential as well as optimal intellectual development. This study aims to determine how the parenting style is applied by parents to their children. After it is known how the parenting style is applied, the next step is to look for the influence of parenting styles on the learning achievement of class X students of state madrasah aliyah droppies. This research is a descriptive correlational study, using a quantitative approach. The data collection methods used were questionnaires, interviews and documentation methods. The subjects of this research were 118 class X students and a sample of 30 students or 25% of the total population was taken. Analysis of the data used in this study using descriptive statistics and simple regression. From the results of the descriptive analysis, it was obtained: (a) the parenting patterns used by the parents of the students were a mixture of three types of parenting, namely democratic, authoritarian, and permissive with the following details: 32% democratic, 35% authoritarian, and 47% permissive. (b) the learning achievement of the 60 students was mostly at a high level of achievement with a frequency of 32 students or 53%. From the results of the simple linear regression test, it is obtained: the r number is 0.638 which is greater than the significance level of 0.5, so the null hypothesis is rejected and the working hypothesis is accepted. The adjusted coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) is 0.400, which means that the dependent variable on learning achievement is explained by the independent variable of parenting by 40% while the remaining 60% is explained by other variables outside the variables used in this study.

Abstract
