Abstract

This study is conducted to investigate the case appears in teaching and learning speaking regarding to problems on implementing the politeness principle faced by students. Recently, phenomenon happen among students in conversation that fail to provide appropriate politeness especially toward elders can be illustrated as the basic assumptions from the way they use utterances and their failure on paying attention of social class, age, sex when they communicate to others. This phenomenon brings questions that become the bases of the aims of this study to find out problem appears on implementing politeness principle in teaching and learning speaking, to find out factors cause the problems appear, and formulate suitable recommendations to provoke students using appropriate utterances and maxim in order to make good relationships and distinguish context toward different age, sex and status of conversation participants who they interact with. This study belongs to the case study research and the data collected from observations and interviews. The findings show that the problems often made by students are they utter wrong expressions for certain situations, they do not greet, thank and ask for sorry to anyone they involved with included the elders. The problems that faced by students in implementing politeness principal in speaking class is influenced by internal and external factors, internal factors come from teaching and learning process, the school environment and the lack of teaching softskills while external factors come from the lack of students' acknowledgment and awareness of family and society values and the last but not least is the influence of the rapidly worldwide technology development.

Abstract

The purpose of this researches to describe curriculum 2013 implementation of enforceability forfourth gradewholeMagetan. This research used aphenomenological approachtoqualitative research. theSubjects usedto teacher fourth gradeat theelementary school that used curriculum 2013. The object researchesthatexploredisthelearning, the learningprocess, andevaluationinstrumentsdeveloped bythe teacher. The collecting data techniqueincludesdocumentation, observationandinterviews. Researchersact asthe ma i n i n s t r ume n t i n c o l l e c t i n g d a t a a n d a d d i t i o n a l i n s t r ume n t f o rm offieldnotesandchecklist.The results showedthat: (1) theimplementation of thecurriculum 2013 for fourth gradeinMagetannot fully yet implementedin terms oflearning plan  development, learning implementation, andevaluation. Abstract

The development of science and technology has a huge influence on improving the quality of education. It needs the supporting components, including teachers, students, facilities and infrastructure, even concerning the curriculum. It thus requires the ability of the teachers in designing learning model that is more student-centered, according to the characteristics of the field of study and student characteristics in order to achieve maximum results. This study is anexperimental study which involving 60 students as the sample. The study sample was obtained by means of purposive sampling. Moderate research data obtained by distributing questionnaires and tests to provide a sample. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of variance of two paths. Based on the data calculation results are obtained as follows : 1) There is a differencebetween PAKEM method and lecture method with learning result in Natural science of fifth students SDN Magetan 1 and SDN Magetan 2 academic year 2013/2014, which have active and creative learning outcomes, which shown by F value greater then F table , namely (4.654 > 3.99). 2) There is a difference in learning result in science classes of SDN Magetan 1 and SDN Magetan 2 academic year 2013/2014 which has a high learning motivation and low learning motivation, the significant differences indicated greater count dengan nilai FB F table, ie (27943 > 3.99). 3) There is an interaction between learning and teaching using lectures PAKEM with motivation toward science learning outcomes SDN Magetan class 1 and 2 Magetan SDN Magetan academic year2013/2014, which implements active and creative learning classes to students who are highly motivated to have the results learn science better when compared with the results of science learning in students with learning other lectures with low motivation , and is also indicated by the calculated F is greater than F table, namely (12,859 > 3.99).

Abstract

AbstractIn the education of both teachers and students have a goal to gain mastery learning. It is, therefore, obvious in learning activities where students individually not get the score based on the standard complete (value ± 70), then the teachers have a duty and responsibility to improve the learning process to help students complete the learning activities. In the first cycle SCARA average student test results is equal to 68.06, these results when measured by Mastery Learning Criteria (KKM) which is 70, the average is still less than 1.04. When viewed individually the number who did not complete as many as 15 students or 42% while complete as many as 21 students or 58% of the total of 38 students. Therefore the need to improve the ability of students’ understanding gradually in accordance with the process through in learning activities. In the second cycle After the class action process in the second cycle executed, data such as the average number of student test results is equal to 80.56% of this figure 12.5%   higher than the results of the first cycle which only amounted to 68.06%, this results when measured by mastery Learning Criteria (KKM) at 70, then the average has been above criteria mastery Learning (KKM). When viewed individually the number of incomplete only one student, while complete as many as 37 students from a total of 38 students. Then to the application of research methods jigsaw in this class action may be expressed or Successfully Completed. AbstrakDalam pendidikan baik guru maupun siswa mempunyai tujuan untuk memperoleh belajar tuntas. Oleh karena itu jelas dalam kegiatan pembelajaran apabila secara individual siswa belum mendapatkan nilai berdasarkan standar tuntas (nilai ± 70), maka guru mempunyai beban dan tanggung jawab untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran untuk membantu siswa menuntaskan kegiatan belajarnya. Pada Siklus I scara rata-rata hasil tes siswa yaitu sebesar 68,06, hasil ini jika diukur dengan Kriteria Ketuntasan Belajar (KKM) yaitu sebesar 70, maka rata-rata tersebut masih kurang 1,04. Jika dilihat secara perorangan jumlah yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 15 siswa atau 42% sedangkan yang tuntas sebanyak 21 siswa atau 58% dari total 38 siswa. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman siswa secara bertahap sesuai dengan proses yang dilalui dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Pada Siklus II Setelah proses tindakan kelas pada siklus II dilaksanakan, diperoleh data berupa angka rata-rata hasil tes siswa yaitu sebesar 80,56% angka ini lebih tinggi 12,5% dari hasil siklus I yang hanya sebesar 68,06%, hasil ini jika diukur dengan Kriteria Ketuntasan Belajar (KKM) yaitu sebesar 70, maka rata-rata tersebut sudah di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Belajar (KKM). Jika dilihat secara perorangan jumlah yang tidak tuntas hanya 1 siswa, sedangkan yang tuntas sebanyak 37 siswa dari total 38 siswa. Maka untuk penerapan metode jigsaw dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini dapat dinyatakan Tuntas atau Berhasil.

Abstract

This study aims to determine employee work motivation Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan, to determine employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan, and to know is there any effect of work motivation on employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. The samples in this study using saturated sample as many as 34 people are based on all Small Industries Employees Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. Pegumpulan data using questionnaires and documentation methods. In analyzing the data used product moment correlation statistical method to test the validity of the instruments used in regression testing method to test the hypothesis put forward in this study. The results showed that the influence of work motivation at the same time a positive relationship to work productivity Batik Small Industries Employees "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. It is derived from the value of 0.717 while rtabel rhitung of 0.339 (0.717  ≥ 0.339). On the other hand Sighit values of 0.000 and 0.05 Sigprob (0.000 ≤  0.05) was rejected, meaning that work motivation has a relationship with the Small Industries Employees work productivity Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. It also obtained the F test value , the value of F at 33.830 while the value Ftable 4.149 (33.830  ≥ 4.149). On the other hand Sigprob Sighit of 0.000 and 0.05 (0.000 ≤  0.05) means there is a denial that shows that there are significant between work motivation on employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. Also obtained regression coefficients (t test) with tcount 5.816 while the value ttable 2,037 (5.816 ≥  2.037). On the other hand Sighit values of 0.000 and 0.05 Sigprob value (0.000  ≤ 0.05). With this was rejected, meaning that there are different influences on the productivity of Small Industries Employees Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. While the results of R2 of 51.40 %, 51.40 % shows that for the variable productivity of employees affected work motivation , while the remaining 48.60 % is influenced by other factors . Furthermore, when seen in the derived regression equation value equation Y = 10.320 + 0.773 X. From the regression equation it can be seen if the motivation to work as much as 1 % increase labor productivity will increase as well of 0.773 %, while the other factors remain.

Abstract

Mathematics as problem solving activities, The implication of this point of view for mathematics teachers need to: (1) providing a learning environment mathematics to stimulate the emergence of mathematical problem, (2) help students solve math problems using its own way, (3) help the students to know the information needed to solve a mathematical problem, (4) encourages students to think logically, consistently, systematically and develop a system of documentation / records, (5) developing the capacity and skills to solve problems, (6) help the students to know the way of using mathematics media such as: compass, ruler, calculator, etc. Friend giving method is a method of learning that are interesting to the students because students can learn in a serious but relaxed. The problem statement of the research: Is there an ability increasing in using and understanding the properties of arithmetic operations of numbers in solving problems through friend giving students of class IX-E MTS Foreign Rejosari Madiun in the Schooling Year 2011/2012?  The approach used in this study is Classroom Action Research with quantitative approach. In this study, researchers collaborate with other teachers and the principals. Researchers involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the study. Researcher is trying to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities. The stages of research consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The study collected data were statistically analyzed using the formula that is mean or average to get accurate results. The result showed that the average value of 77.23 in the first cycle and the second cycle obtained by the average value of 86.92. Referring to the hypothesis that the actions proposed in this Classroom Action Research it can be concluded that: there is an increased ability to understand the properties of arithmetic operations of numbers and their use in solving problems with learning friend giving students of class IX-E MTS Rejosari Madiun in the Schooling Year 2011/2012.

Abstract

Parenting parents to their children is the first socialization process done by children against other people. The goal is to teach children how to be part of a better society in a broader sense as well as in the smallest of a family environment. It is inseparable from its association with the value of a child in front of his parents. Kids get the attention, or less attention will continue to grow and thrive. Children will go through the process of socialization is facilitated by social environment, parents, people who are important in a child’s life, peers and even by the media which is now irreversible existence. Need to be understood, that the theoretical concept of development as the psychoanalytic theory that center development socialization of a child lies in the development of morality and superego that when children from the age of three years. According to the theory the task of development, individual development tasks relating to social demands and the adaptation to the demands of the development of age these skills must be mastered by the individual. It will be different with the behavioristic theory, social cognitive theory, and cognitive theory and Humanistic approach also provide insights into the development of a child’s socialization. The concept of parenting is based on the assumption of various theories on the development and socialization of children directed to the development of morality, personality development and competencies for life. The development direction of guidance for parents in the upbringing of their children by the process of the elaboration of the child's personality.

Abstract

Orientation: life skills education has become one of the government's policy in the field of education. Implementing life skills education in the learning process, schools need to prepare oriented curriculum to life skills education. Achievement of these life skills must be specifically designed not just as an accompaniment destination (by chance). One of the mathematics learning approaches that link reallifeexperiences of students with mathematics material is Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Research purpose: develop student worksheets with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) based life skills that meet the criteria of validity on the solid material. Research design, approach and method: this type of research is development research. Development of Student Worksheet in this research refers to the 4-D models by Thiagarajan, et al which has been adjusted. The phase 4-D models are used only three stages are comprised of: define, design, and develop. This research was conducted in class VIII-C SMP Negeri 2 Kwadungan Ngawi. Main Findings: learning device test results obtained are categorized of Student Worksheet is valid, because it meets the requirements set out, namely: (1) the category of expert validation is valid, (2) the category of students readability test is valid, and (3) the category of students response is positive.

Abstract

Position of teachers as professionals in the Act No. 14 of 2005, serves to increase the dignity of teachers as well as its role as a learning agent to improve the quality of national education. Teachers as professionals implies that teachers work can only be done by someone who, among others, have certain competencies, namely: pedagogical competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence. The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials for train pedagogical Microteaching integrating communications and information technology the values of character. Urgency of research is the importance of communication and information technology mastery character values by students through lectures integrated Microteaching. This research is the development that follows the mechanism and design of the development of teaching materials (Fenrich, 1997). The steps include the development of teaching materials analysis phase (analysis), planning (planning), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), evaluation and revision (evaluation and revision). The initial phase of the study in the first year is to develop an instrument for the investigation, analysis (analysis), planning (planning) and designing (design) prototype. In the first year of teaching materials that have been designed include: SAP, Textbook, Media, and the Assessment Guidelines. In the second year was followed by the development (development) Microteaching teaching materials and implements (implementation) in the lecture. The results showed that the Microteaching Subjects that have been developed to train integrating ICT pedagogical competence and character values can be regarded as a good learning tool because it meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Integrating ICT pedagogical competence and character values can be trained.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the low result of learning the Quran Hadith eighth grade students understand the content of C in the material content of the surah al-Humazah and at-Takatsur MTs Yahya Thamrin Rambah Rokan Hilir Hulu. Of the 28 students of class VIII C who received grades above KKM amounted to 75 only 10 people, while 18 other students received grades below KKM. Based on these findings, the authors sought to improve student learning outcomes VIII class C through a classroom action research strategy Reading Aloud. Subjects in this study were teachers and all the students of class VIII C totaling 28 students consisting of 8 male students and 20 female students. While the object of this study is the implementation strategy of Reading Aloud to improve learning outcomes Qur’an Hadith eighth grade students understand the content of C in the material content of the surah al-Humazah and at-Takatsur MTs Yahya Thamrin Rambah Rokan Hilir Hulu. Collecting data in this study using observation, achievement test, interview, and documentation. After processing the data, and then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques of qualitative and quantitative. Meanwhile, to test the hypothesis of this study were analyzed by the test “t”. From the results of data analysis can be concluded that the implementation strategy of Reading Aloud to improve learning outcomes Qur’an Hadith eighth grade students understand the content of C in the material content of the surah al-Humazah and at-Takatsur, from an average of 69.86 in the prior action became the first cycle of 76.29 and 81.79 in the second cycle. Hypothesis test results obtained price amounted to 19.494 much greater than the value table at a significance level of 5% and 1%. Thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is acceptable. Based on the conclusions of this  study, the authors advise that teachers would Quran Hadith should be able to apply a variety of  active learning strategies, especially strategies Reading Aloud on an ongoing basis to overcome the low results for students at the school. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Al-Qur’an Hadits siswa kelas VIII C pada materi memahami isi kandungan surat al-Humazah dan at-Takatsur di MTs Thamrin Yahya Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Dari 28 orang siswa kelas VIII C yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM sebesar 75 hanya 10 orang, sedangkan 18 orang siswa lainnya memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM. Berdasarkan hasil temuan inilah, maka penulis berusaha untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII C melalui sebuah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan strategi Reading Aloud. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan seluruh siswa kelas VIII C yang berjumlah 28 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 8 orang siswa laki-laki dan 20 orang siswa perempuan. Sementara objek penelitian ini adalah penerapan strategi Reading Aloud untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Al-Qur’an Hadis siswa kelas VIII C pada materi memahami isi kandungan surat al-Humazah dan at-Takatsur di MTs Thamrin Yahya Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, tes hasil belajar, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Setelah dilakukan pengolahan data, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sedangkan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini, dianalisis dengan uji tes “t”. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi Reading Aloud dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Al-Qur’an Hadis siswa kelas VIII C pada materi memahami isi kandungan surat al-Humazah dan at-Takatsur, dari rata-rata sebesar 69,86 pada sebelum tindakan menjadi 76,29 pada siklus I dan 81,79 pada siklus II. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh harga t sebesar 19,494 jauh lebih besar dari nilai t  pada taraf signifikan 5% maupun 1%. Dengan demikian hipotesis alternatif (Ha) dapat diterima. Berdasarkan hasil kesimpulan penelitian ini, maka penulis memberikan saran agar kiranya guru Al-Qur’an Hadits hendaknya dapat menerapkan berbagai strategi pembelajaran aktif, khususnya strategi Reading Aloud secara berkesinambungan guna mengatasi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di sekolah.
