Abstract

English in K13 insists on the teachers to be cerative. In fact. It indicates bstacles in the class due to the interpretation on its implementation. The research is a qualitative evaluative one that the researchers are the observers to two schools as the object. It is intended to see the comparison of English subject implementation on K13 focused on the integration within its practices. It also sees how and why they differ from one to another. The analyses show that (1) there are no integration done by teachers on the language skills at class in two schools. (2) The situation and condition of the school influences the practices of teaching English by integration; in one school, classes have good facilities, another school has no one. (3) English in K13 is fun for students because they use to for both schools.  (4) Teachers find difficulties in two schools especially for the assessments, asking phase in scientific approach, and composing worksheets. (5) K13 basically changes from boring to enjoyment because it implies creativity and being active for both teachers and students.

Abstract

To achieve national education purpose, Indonesia's government provide three categories facilities, formal, non-formal, and informal education. Formal education held the Ministry of education, non-formal education organized independently, informal education in family and society. Three types education work together to achieve the national education purpose. The research purposeto determine students satisfaction level to learning Biology in formal school and non-formal learning. Analysis results of research are expected as material evaluation Organizer formal education in order to meet the needs student learning without having to rely institutions of the mentorship of non-formallearning. Research using observation method, researchers conducted bservations directly the research object to see the reality in the field. Data collected using questionnaires on 30 respondents high level school students. Questionnaire were analyzed using comparative average student learning satisfaction in formal school and non-formal learning. Student learning satisfaction measurementresults on the quality of the material, 81,6% of formal schooling and non-formal learning 87,6% , aspects method of formal school 87% and non-formal learning 75%, teaching quality aspects of formal school 79% and non-formal learning 83%, school formal infrastructure aspects of 92% and non-formal learning 76%, learning time aspects formal school 90% and non-formal learning 85%.

Abstract

Accepting and processing reservation competence is one of tourism field, both for education and tourism program. It gives the students skill, knowledge and attitude to act competence in doing front office job, especially as reservation officer. Creative and productive learning method has goal to create fun athmosphere in class since the students are not only able to learn theoritically, but also able to applied the theory in the real condition. The research method used is class action research. Population of this study are 36 students of  XII (Aph1) Hotel Accomodation Majority. It is a descriptive research which the data is obtained by observation and test. Then the data is analayze by counting observation sheet using score formula.  The result of this research is there is an increasing in teacher and students activity and the average grade in every cyclus.From the data, it is concluded that creative and productive method is able to increase the productive competence in accepting and processing reservation.

Abstract

This research is aimed at (1) knowing whether or not the implementation of Co-op Co-op technique can increase the students' reading ability, (2) knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the implememtation of co-op co-op to teach reading at second grade students of IKIP PGRI Madiun. Thereseach method is action research. The data are collected by using observation, questionaire, and interview. Then, the data are analyzed by using CCU. The result of the research is the coop coop technique can increase the students' reading abiliy. The strengths are it can increase students' motivation, it can make students active in the class. Co-op co-op refers to a variety of teaching techniques in which students work in small groups to learn academic content. In cooperative classroom, students are expected to help each other discuss and argue.With each other, to assess each other's understanding and fill in each other's undertanding.

Abstract

This study originated from concerns about increasing environmental concern. Mainly due to ignorance of students to be aware and concerned about the environment. The amount of waste that is not wasted suitable place and the environment around the school is less well ordered, making teaching and learning activities to be disrupted. School as a variety of education should instill the importance of environmental education because education is the key to all progress and development of quality because the human education can realize all his potential both as individuals and as citizens. One model of learning developed in the world of education is a model of Environmental Learning. Environmental Learning is an approach to learning which in practice requires teachers are trying to increase the involvement of learners (students) through the utilization of the environment as a learning resource. But unfortunately there are many teachers in schools that are not yet using this model, it is seen the tendency of the educational process in the school institution oriented to the academic aspect alone. In the study conducted by the students are encouraged to study the environment as a primary source in exploring science and associate it with the material covered. The place used is a neighborhood school outside of class. Time used during the first half, with the aim of instilling the habit of learning to give and receive knowledge from nature. The results obtained student achievement has increased to 99% and 100% environmentally character. Through this article is expected to use Environmental Learning in school became one of the alternatives in the learning activities, raise awareness in saving the environment is increasing both among teachers and among students.

Abstract

There are many errors on Job Application Letter (JAL) as task of lecture. The errors can be analizyzed from the taxonomy of linguistic category consist of phonological, morphological, sintaxtical, semantical, and discoursial levels. Specifically, this research aims at explaining the data of errors, the classification of errors, the frequency of errors appearance, the cause of errors, the prediction of the levels in which the errors appeared, and the correction of JAL errors of IKIP PGRI Madiun students. This research is descriptive qualitative explaining the phenomena occurred on JAL of IKIP PGRI Madiun students. The qualitative data research and primary data source research are gained using writing document technique of students JAL. The validation data technique used are method and experts triangulations. The technique analysis data is error analysis procedure, consist of  1) collecting data of errors, 2)classifying errors, 3) classifying the frequency of error appearance, 4) explaining the cause of errors, 5) predicting the levels in which the errors appeared, and 6) correcting the errors. The result of this research shows that there are 26 similar errors of students JAL. The most frequency of errors appearance happened on words level. The cause of error is the students do not know the appropriate words that should be used in JAL. The errors appeared at the phonological, morphological, sintaxtical, semantical, and discoursial levels. The correction of errors have been done based on EYD, grammatical rule, and linguistics.

Abstract

Vector is an important subject in physics. Application of Newton's laws will bedifficult, if not understand the basic concept of vectors. At the time of completing the equation of Newton's laws, students have difficulty in identifying problems, more specifically students can not understand the concept vectors correctly. Based on the results of the analysis of errors made, from six students, only one student who answered correctly. Student errors are caused by the use of language dominance intuition and do not understand the concept of a vector.

Abstract

Writing is a productive skill since the students have to create a composition in form of sentence, paragraph, and text. The students need to develop grammatical order, coherence and unity in sentence. But in fact, there are many students who have difficulty in writing. It is because of their low writing knowledge and the bored learning methode during in class. The research method used is class action research. Population of this study are 32 students of XI IPA 5 grade SMAN 1Kawedanan. Sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling. The independent variables are Cooperative Learning Methode and the dependent variable is narrative text writing skill. The result of this research is from 32 students there are 30 students or 93,75% who show the increasing in class activity and learning result. It can be concluded that Cooperative Learning Methode canincrease narrative text writing skill of XI IPA 5 SMAN 1 Kawedanan students.

Abstract

AbstractThe implementation of character education is arguably the current era is very worrying, many moral issues, and propaganda becomes a regular thing for now. All sorts of things lawful, all forms of crime was rampant, the nation’s moral crisis is very minimal, so anyone can suppress and distort a responsibility that should be a mandate. Background of the case, how do we as a successor nation to always keep the repertoire of moral and religious values so harmoniously to apply in our daily lives. Life in the family to be the first in shaping the character education of children, after the environment than the school or boarding school. Why should the boarding school? Boarding school including the oldest educational institutions, even in the history of struggle and development of the nation, schools have a lot to contribute to the leaders of character bore a strong, militant, full of integrity, persistent, visionary, unyielding and sincere in fighting. The contribution does not stop during the struggle of the nation, but until today, leaders of the country’s highest institution led by many national leaders with backgrounds are boarding. The reason can be used as the view, that the boarding school can provide an experience that can make character education of children to be outstanding. By example, habituation, give examples, and others expected to produce santri that can be used as agents of change in Indonesia towards moral and religious. Attitudes that shape the character education like, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, self-reliance, honesty, and so forth. Abstrak Penerapan pendidikan karakter era saat ini bisa dibilang sangat mengkhawatirkan, banyak masalah moral dan propaganda yang menjadi suatu hal yang biasa untuk saat ini. Segala macam hal dihalalkan, segala bentuk kejahatan sudah merajalela, krisis moral bangsa sangat minim sehingga siapapun mampu menindas dan menyelewengkan tanggungjawab yang seharusnya menjadi amanah. Berlatar belakang hal tersebut, bagaimana kita sebagai penerus bangsa untuk selalu menjaga khasanah nilai moral dan agama supaya selaras dan serasi untuk diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari kita. Kehidupan dalam keluarga menjadi yang pertama dalam membentuk pendidikan karakter anak, setelah itu lingkungan kemudian sekolah atau pondok pesantren. Kenapa harus pondok pesantren? Pondok pesantren termasuk lembaga pendidikan tertua, bahkan dalam sejarah perjuangan dan pembangunan bangsa, pesantren sudah banyak memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam melahirkan pemimpin yang berkarakter kuat, militan, penuh integritas, gigih, visioner, pantang menyerah dan ikhlas dalam berjuang. Kontribusi tersebut tidak berhenti pada masa perjuangan bangsa, melainkan hingga dewasa ini, pimpinan institusi tertinggi negara banyak yang dipimpin oleh tokoh nasional dengan latar belakang pesantren. Alasan tersebut mampu dijadikan pandangan, bahwa pondok pesantren mampu memberikan pengalaman yang bisa membuat pendidikan karakter anak menjadi luar biasa. Dengan keteladanan, pembiasaan, memberikan contoh, dan lain sebagainya diharapkan akan melahirkan santri-santri yang bisa dijadikan agen perubahan dalam menuju Indonesia yang bermoral dan beragama. Sikap yang membentuk pendidikan karakter itu seperti, kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, toleransi, kemandirian, kejujuran dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is : ( 1 ) describe the form of spoken language first gradestudents of SDN Pendem I Magetanin teaching and learning interactions, and ( 2 ) describe the characteristics of spoken language first gradestudents of SDN Pendem I Magetan. The object of this research is the spoken language students in first grade SDN Pendem I Magetanwhen interacting with the teacher in teaching and learning activities. Outcomes of this study that this research will be uploaded in national journals accredited Lentera(State University of Yogyakarta), Journal Pendidikan IKIP PGRI Madiun, and Journal Widyabastra. This study refers to the spoken form of the language description whichincludes the word class, the form of words, and sentence structure. Word class consists of verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and word tasks. While the form of a word composed of affix words, repeated words, compound words, and acronym. Sentence structure includes six basic sentence patterns. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Descriptive methods showed that the study presented here is done solely based on the fact that there is or phenomena that are empirically living in speakers. Collecting data in this study using the methods refer to the tapping technique.
