Abstract

Inhibition of the sense of hearing makes deaf children can not understand the language. Deaf children need to use a medium or tool that understandable to children so that they can assist learning in school. These limitations led to obstacles in their education, so it is necessary to appropriate learning media in order to make them can achieve maximum learning results. The study was a non-experimental study involving 45 students as much as students study sample, wherein the sample is obtained by purposive sampling. data analysis technique is to multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study obtained are:  1) The use of cue language system affects language Natural Science learning result in deaf students of 5th grade in SLB Panca Bakti Magetan and SLB PGRI Kawedanan Magetan indicated by the count r positive and strong, with the count value of r = 0.676. Moreover t is greater then t table, namely (4.890> 2.021); 2) The use of the demosntration method affect on the Natural Sciences learning result on deaf students in grade 5 SLB Panca Bakti Magetan and SLB PGRI Kawedanan Magetan indicated by the value of r is calculated, ie 0.513. Moreover indicated by t value is greater than t table, namely (2.573> 2.021); and 3) use of language cue systems and demonstration methods  effect on the learning result on the Natural Sciences at the deaf students  of 5th grade in SLB Panca Bakti Magetan and SLB PGRI Kawedanan Magetan, as indicated by the robust count value of r, ie 0.728. Additionally count indicated by the larger F  table, ie (23.714> 3.25)

Abstract

The method used in this case is the method of discussion and Brain Storming (brainstorming). Application of this method is that there is a problem every student should mention general problems experienced in school or problems in general about violations of school rules that often do. Then the other students had to submit a proposal submitted his problem solving. It is expected that way; students realize that they have the same problem, and they were able to give an opinion to resolve the issue. This research was carried out on some foster students SMK Negeri 2 Madiun in the academic year 2015/2016. This troubled foster students amounted to 12 students, which is a combination of several classes into foster student counselor. This study uses two cycles with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrument used was a data documentation, questionnaire sheet student, and teacher observation sheet. Results of the study are the decreasing number of violations committed by students with observational data indicated. While data from subject teachers, also showed an increase in student learning outcomes obtained significantly with increasing levels of discipline that do. The conclusion of this study is the group counseling services are performed by using the methods of learning and brain Storming discussion on some foster students at SMK Negeri 2 Madiun in the academic year 2015/2016 can be successful in increasing violations of discipline by reducing school discipline.

Abstract

Work is one of the most important aspects in the life of an adult individual. The tendency of women to work cause problems. When at work, women are faced with the demands of work, whereas when it came home, the women will be exposed to domestic roles. Conditions of discomfort experienced by individuals in living their daily activities can lead to the emergence of stress. Stressexperienced by individuals who work directly with the human face as a recipient of the service referred to as burnout. To face of stressful events, individuals need a social support. This study aims to determine the influence of work-family conflict, burnout and families support to job performance. This research was conducted in Institute of Teacher Training and Education PGRI Madiun. The study was conducted by using a quantitative approach non-experimental ex post-facto. Data collection techniques used is by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the regression analysis. The results of the analysis of research data shows that there is simultaneously a significant influence work-family conflict, burnout and families support to job performance. While partialanalysis showed no significant effect on the work-family conflict job performance, significant effect of burnout on job performance and significant effect of families support to job performance.

Abstract

As one kind of literature, children's literature has a mission to introduce the world of literature to children from an early age. Children's literature puts the viewpoint of children at the center of storytelling. However, it is not impossible if another mission also included the works of children's literature. Children's literature can be used as a means to teach the values of life, example and culture. So, teaches children's literature directly or indirectly two things at once, or even more. In the simplicity of children's literature stored complex dimensions. In addition, children's literature can also be used as a means to introduce the local culture to children. Children's literature-based local culture seeks to instill a love of cultural values that are around them. Unfortunately, Language and Literature Education curriculum Indonesia have not been up to elaborate teaching this genre. The course of children's literature is not supported by adequate instructional media. This research aims to develop children's literature-based instructional media for student PBSI IKIP PGRI Madiun.

Abstract

AbstractQuality improvement and education relevance are one of the national development programs which is closely related to human resource development. Many innovations and programs are done, yet a various indicator showed that the quality of education has still not increased significantly. Many problems may appear in performing the instruction learning, especially for a special education. There is many factors caused the instruction enforcement obstacle for exceptional children such as a psychological factor that consist of 1) intelligence factor, 2) attention factor, 3) interest factor, 4) talent factor, and 5) emotional factor. Observing Buku Bicara for exceptional children with blindness is one of teacher effort to improving children’s motivation and interest in its eventual impacted the level of children activity and children learning output. By using Buku Bicara children tend to be more concentrating on the learning material, so their performance will increase. It can be concluded that the used of Buku Bicara for exceptional children with blindness has a good significant result in children learning performance. Buku Bicara is one of the aids used for blindness to get the information. Baku Becerra has a great benefit for the blindness education, on the contrary; Buku Bicara will decrease its benefit if it used the incorrect technique. AbstrakPeningkatan mutu dan relevansi pendidikan merupakan salah satu program pembangunan nasional yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Berbagai inovasi dan program telah dilaksanakan namun dari berbagai indikator menunjukkan bahwa mutu pendidikan masih belum meningkat secara signifikan. Dari berbagai lembaga khususnya lembaga pendidikan luar biasa muncul berbagai masalah dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Ada beberapa faktor penyebab kendala pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada anak luar biasa diantaranya adalah faktor psikologis yang terdiri dari: 1) Faktor intelegensi, 2) Faktor perhatian, 3) Faktor minat, 4) Faktor bakat, 5) Faktor emosi. Menyimak buku bicara bagi siswa luar biasa khususnya bagi anak tuna netra adalah merupakan salah satu upaya guru untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan minat siswa yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada angka keaktifan siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Karena dengan menggunakan buku bicara siswa akan lebih dapat berkonsentrasi pada apa yang diajarkan sehingga prestasinya akan meningkat. Hasil penelitian penggunaan buku bicara pada anak tuna netra menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa. Buku bicara adalah salah satu alat bantu yang digunakan oleh tuna netra untuk memperoleh informasi. Buku bicara besar manfaatnya bagi pendidikan anak tuna netra namun apabila buku bicara digunakan tanpa teknik yang benar akan mengurangi manfaat pada buku bicara itu sendiri.

Abstract

Aspergillusniger is one type of mold that has a high ability to produce cellulases. Cellulases in the manufacturing process required the right conditions in order to obtain optimum quality and quantity. This study aims to determine the effect of different concentrations of inoculum and incubation time on cellulases activity of Aspergillusniger.The method used was a quantitative experiment with pattern completely randomized design(CRD) two factorial. Treatment research includes different of inoculum (K) which are 10%(K1), 15% (K2), 20% (K3) and incubation times (T) are 5 days (T1), 7 days (T2), 9days (T3). The datawere taken from the treatment is glucose levels of cellulases activity using theNelson Somogyi method. Analysis data using ANOVA two lanes with 5% of a significance level and continued to test Honestly Significant Difference (HSD). The results showed that: Fhit>Ftabso that there are significant differences in inoculum concentrations and incubation time of cellulolytic activity from Aspergillusniger.The highest glucose levels obtained in K3T1 treatment (20% of concentration and 5days of incubation time) with 0.072%.

Abstract

Teaching and learning process needs competence teacher in order to gain the highest achievement. A competence teacher is a teacher who has good competence, one of them is pedagogic competence. This good pedagogic competence will be formed from practicing process which is kept ina good micro practice. Related to that, this study purposes to (1) analyze students' pedagogic competence in practicing micro; (2) analyze the obstacles which appear while process of practicing micro teaching; and 3) formulate solution precisely to solve those obstacles. This study used case studymodel and the object was English department students who fulfilled specific criteria and joined micro teaching class. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation of achievement . The data analysis used was descriptive qualitative method whichcontains data reduction , presented data and draws conclusions or verification. Researchers have gained some following conclusions : (1) pedagogical competence of the students is still low; (2) Some students' problems: less of time management, less of creating and using the media, less ofmethods and models of innovative learning techniques; less fluently of spoken English, inactive in the classroom, were confused in preparing lesson plans and syllabus, lack of confidence when teaching practice (nervous), and lack of specific student handbook which contains detail guidelines of microteaching; (3) The solutions can be used to overcome the obstacles that arise in the process ofmicroteaching are: create microteaching models which has spesific approach, students should be accompanied and guided well in making lesson plans, students need to improve self-esteem because important in classroom management, and the students have to improve the English language skillsboth oral and written.

Abstract

A person's ability to communicate can be demonstrated in two ways, namely oral communication and written one. If the communication takes place verbally, there are other elements that need to be considered by the teacher, and of course the need to be taught to the students, which is about the speech or pronunciation. Moreover, Spelling and Pronounciation differ greatly, for example, a person who uttered procedure with speech would not be understood by those who pronounce the word correctly. Similarly, if the person is listening to the speech of others who pronounce it correctly, certainly not the word that he had captured the word. Formulation of the problem in this research is: Is there an ability increasing to communicate in English through Student Team Achievement Division equivalent to the elementary school students of MTs. Rejosari Madiun in the Schooling Year 2011/2012? In this study, Researcher collaborates with other teachers and the principals. Researcher is involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the study. Researcher is trying to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities. The stages of research consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The study collected data were statistically analyzed using the formula that is mean or average to get accurate results. From the analysis and observations on this study the result showed that the average value of the cycle has increased significantly. Referring to the formulation of the problem and the hypothesis of action proposed in this Classroom Action Research it can be concluded that: There is an ability increasin the communication competence to the elementary school students of MTs Rejosari Madiun through Student Team Achievement Division in the Schooling Year 2011/2012.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to create a good learning tools of Algebra Stucture towards “QAIT”based Guide Inquiry. Algebra Stucture as basic subject in mathematics. This conditions isessensials for students to comprehend the materials. The using of “QAIT” based Learning Model Guide Inquiry is one of the ways to incrase motivation student on learning. “QAIT” based Learning Model Guide Inquiry will increase the active learning of the students. This developmental researchwas applying Thiagarajan's,et al. 4D developmental approach. Thiagarajan's approach consisted of 4D phases approaches. The phases are Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. The population was students of fifth semester of Mathematics Department of IKIP PGRI Madiun. The datacollections techniques used were in form of test and non-test (questionnaire). The results were collected from the approach's trial. Learning tools already stated valid and has good criteria on students' effective activities, lecturer's classroom management, sensitiveness of students' results test, validity, reliability, and students' positive responses. Good learning tools of Algebra Stucture towards “QAIT”based Guide Inquiry creates (1) Satuan Acara Pembelajaran (SAP), (2) Lembar Kegiatan Mahasiswa (LKM), (3) Tes Hasil Belajar (THB) of Spatial-n Euclides of Linear Algebra.

Abstract

Development and experiment research have been done because there is no learning tools of problem based learning. Development research was done by using modified 4-D model that consists of define, design, and develop. Research subject is student in Mathematics Education programme of IKIP PGRI Madiun even semester 2013/2014 that is learning Geometry System. Research instrument were validation sheet, reading validation sheet, learning management observation by lecturer sheet, student activity observation sheet, test, and questionnaire. Analysis is done for data that is gotten by research instrument. Summary of the research is good problem based learning tools was developed using modified 4D model. It because validator said that learning tools valid and fulfill criteria: (1) student activity was effective, (2) lecturer capability for learning management was good, (3) test was sensitive, valid, and reliable, (4) student response was positive. Problem based learning tools that is gotten were lesson plan, student worksheet, and test. Problem based learning tools can be used for teaching Non Euclidean Geometry subject because (1) classical student learning completeness fulfilled, (2) student activity in the learning activity fulfill ideal time, (3) lecturer capability in the learning management was good, (4) student response for learning tools and activity was positive.
