Abstract

The grand  mision  of vocational  school  policy  is to produce graduates  who have national, regional  and international  competitive advantage.  To guarantee  the students of vocational  school sufficient learning  process,  the vocational  school  teacher  traning  institution  is obliged   to   provide   the   qualified    lecturers,    infrastrustures    and teaching  aids and materials.  Among  those requirements,   students  of vocational  school teacher  training  institution  should also be trained in such a way that they  are skillful  in handling  students  to face the working   environment.   This  research   is  attempted   to  meet  such demand   by  developing   teaching   process   under  Somatic  Auditiry Visual  and  Intelectual   Approach    (SAVI)   to  train   the   students sensitive against the environment.Key words: Somatic Auditiry Visual and lntelectual Approach (SAVI), Competence,  Achievement

Abstract

Emotional maturity of an individual sticks and grows in line with his/her physical growth, including that of Secondary School students. Their emotional development can be viewed through general activities they conduct. There are some factors which assumptively promote their emotional maturity, but they can be mainly grouped into two categories, i.e. internal and external ones. The internal factors can be sub-grouped into physical and psychological ones. Physical factor develops in line with the age, where the older they are, the better their body builds are. The psychological development will none theless follows this physical growth, so as to become more emotionally mature. One of the external factor which can influence the development of thei emotional maturity is the school counceling practice. The main school counceling practice serves problem solving in the area of students individual conduct in relation to others. The school counceling office is in charge of assisting the students emotional development to reach their emotional maturity.Key words: Social-individual Counceling, Emotional Maturity

Abstract

Education   service   quality very irrespective   influence   that given from a service user expectation with that perception  by service user. One of the factor that determine  customer  satisfaction  service quality    that    consist    of   five    service    dimensions:     reliability, responsiveness,   assurance,  empathy, and tangible.  Education  service quality  baseds  on from  human  resource  that  is lecturer,  staff,  and facilities.   This  research   aim detects  student  university   perception towards  education  service  quality  FIP IKIP PGRI  MADIUN.  This research uses to approach   quantitative as a mean to analyze difference between perception and expectation student  university towards education service. This research is done to describe service quality and student university     satisfaction      level.    Research respondent   as  much  as  293  student     niversities   from   total   1099 student   universities.    Sample  taking   uses   technique    proportional random  sampling.  Research  data is got by using closed model inquiry instrument.  Data analysis  technique  that used:  descriptive  analysis; analysis   of  variance;   and  analysis   performance    and  importance matrix.   Research   result  shows  that:  (1)  level  expectation   student university  about  education  service  quality  belongs  in category  very high; (2) student university  perception  level about education service quality  belongs  in high  category;  and (3) there  difference  between expectation        and   student   university    perception    about   education service quality.Key words:  Education Service Quality, Expectation,  Perception

Abstract

The average of the student achievement in Politic of Economy subject at the Economy Study program, IKIP PGRI MADIUN, which can only reach 60 (C). The main obstacle encountered by the students is that they cannot comprehensively think over proposed cases by making use of rich perspectives of some disciplines.The subject of the research are the students of semester VI, Economy Education Study Program. The research is designed under class action research with three cycles to observe the learning events and achievements by using Problem-based Learning to encourage students to think comprehensively.The result of the research show that problem-based learning technique is capable of encouraging the students to think comprehensively, as shown on students achievement, where in cycle 1, 13 students (43%) get B, in cycle 2, 16 students (53%), and in cycle 3, 23 students (77%).The non-test achivement during the implementation of problem-based learning show a result that in cycle 1 where: 9 students (30%) give their opinions, 10 students (33.33%) ask questions, 9 students (30%) answer questions, and 9 students cooperate to solve problems. The result of cycle 2 shows that: 20 students (66.60%) give their opinions, 21 students (70%) ask questions, 20 students (66.66%) answer questions, and 19 students cooperate to solve problems. The result of cycle 3 shows that: 25 students (83.33%) give their opinions, 28 students (93.30%) ask questions, 23 students (80%) answer questions, and 24 students cooperate to solve problems.Key words: Problem Based Learning, Students skill, thinking comprehensively

Abstract

The  objectives  of this reseach  are:  (1) to help  students  choose  the most  suitable  learning  method,  (2) to serve  qualified  learning  to pass the threshold  level, (3) to make up the average  students  mark in physics.  The method  of the study is experiment  applied  on students  of Grade X, SMA 6 Madiun.  The sample  is taken  under  cluster-random   sampling  technique having  class  XC  and  XD.  Data  on  students   achievement   are  taken  by cognitive   test,  those  of  prior  achievement   are  taken  by  documentation technique,   those   of  creativity   and  abstraction   skill  are  taken   by  test. Hypothetical  examination  is done under factorial  anava 2x2x2x2.The  results  show  that:  (1)  there  is a different   influence  between guided  inquiry and free-modified   inquiry technique  (0.005 < 0.05), (2) there is influence  of high and low prior achievement  (0.000  < 0.05), (3) there is influence  of high  and  low students  creativity  (0.039  < 0.05),  (4) there  is influence  of high and low abstarction  skill  (0.014 < 0.05), (5) there is no interaction   between   guided   and free-modified     unquiry technique  with students  prior achievement  (0.043 < 0.05), (6) there is interaction  between guided and free-modified   unquiry technique  with students creativity  (0.043 < 0.05), (7) there  is interaction  between  guided  and free-modified    unquiry technique  with  students  abstraction   skill  (0.032  < 0.05),  (8) there  is no interaction   between   guided   and free-modified     unquiry   technique   with students  prior  achievement,   creativity   and  abstraction   skill  towards  the achievement  (0.595 > 0.05).Key words: guided inquiry technique, free-modified inquiry technique, experiment, achievement, prior achievement, creativity, abstraction skill
