Abstract

Selection of IUD contraceptive methods especially in Indonesia during the last few years tends to decrease demand. These factors include physical, psychological, socio-cultural and religious factors, education level, knowledge, environment, economy, needs, service tariff, and support of husband / family. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to the interests of family planning acceptors using the IUD in Keude Panga Village Panga District 2017. This research is analytic, with cross sectional approach, the population in this study is all KB acceptor in Keude Panga Village Panga Subdistrict totaling 175 people. Sampling technique is done by quota sampling, the number of samples obtained 35 people. The data were collected on May 13th until 26th of May 2017. The data were analyzed using Chi-Square Test with 95% (P <0,05) significance. The result of the research shows that there is a correlation between mothers knowledge level with KB acceptor interest in using IUD with P value = 0,027, there is relation between family economic level with KB acceptor interest in using IUD with P value = 0,001. there is a relationship between husband support with KB acceptor interest in using IUD with P value = 0,007, there is relation between social culture with KB acceptor interest in using IUD with value P = 0,009. Conclusion in this study there is a meaningful relationship between knowledge, family economic level, husband support and socio-culture with interest of KB acceptors using IUD. Expected for the development of science so that the results of this study can be used as a reference in the development of better science and to conduct further research on contraceptive devices in the womb.Keywords: Knowledge, Education, Economic Level, Husband Support, Socio-Culture

Abstract

The existence of community health centers at the moment is still not in line with expectations and desires of the majority of society. Many people who are not satisfied with the services provided by the health workers, it can be seen from many of the patients who still complain. In addition, the attitude of health workers who offend even hurt the feelings of the patient, so that will further lower the level of confidence in the health service. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of outpatient satisfaction with services provided by the officer in general clinic of Public Health Services Center Kajhu Aceh Besar.This research is descriptive analytic with quantitative approach and cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all outpatients who visited in the general clinic of public health services Kajhu Aceh Besar, at least, 4 visits totaling 1508 patients. The sample in this study amounted to 98 people and sampling techniques performed by accidental sampling. This study was conducted on February 1 to 29 in 2008, held at the Public Health Services Center Kajhu Aceh Besar. Data collected by interview using a questionnaire to the respondents.The results of this study were obtained, there is no relationship between the variables availability of health facilities with outpatient satisfaction (p-value = 0.179; df = 1; alpha = 0.05). The relationship between the variables of achievement of health care, patient perception, acceptance of health care with outpatient satisfaction (p-value = 0.000; df = 1; alpha = 0.05). From the results of this research, it is recommended that public health officers can improve public health services in the future. In addition, it is expected that the government to immediately establish a public health services center that is located not far from residential areas, so it can be easily affordable for people who need medical care quickly.Keywords: Public Health, Satisfaction, Patient, Health Services

Abstract

Learning achievement is thehuman levelof the studentsin accepting, rejecting, andassess theinformation obtainedin the learning process. The are many factors manyfactorsthat influence the successprocess in the learning, such as learning motivationandfamily support. Students' motivationbecome a low, so the quality of achievement will be low. Therefore, the quality ofthestudents'learning achievementneeds to be increased continuously in order forstudentsto havea strongmotivation to learn, so that thelearning performancecan be achievedoptimally. In theirfamilystudents needed the  support of their parentsin achievinglearning achievement, because the supportandattentionwilldetermine thestudentsreached a highacademic achievement. The purposeof thisstudywas to determine the"influence of motivation andfamily supporton student achievementlevelIIProdiD-III MidwiferySTIKesU'BudiyahBanda Aceh". This research isanalyticwith cross sectional approach. The populationinthis study were allsecondlevel studentsProdiD-III Midwifery, amounting to 73people. The sampling techniquetotal samplingwithcriteriaentiresecondlevel studentsare activein thefourth semester ofthe academic year2012/2013is73people. The research instrumentused questionnairesandtranscripts. This study was conductedon 20August to24 August, 2013. The results of this analysis study showed that there is influence of motivation on student achievement in grades P-Value = 0.000 (P <0.05) and no family support influences on student achievement in grades P-Value = 0.000 (P <0.05) . Based on the results of this study concluded that there was a significant relationship between motivation and family support on student achievement. Expected as input to the students and families that motivation and family support plays an important role in improving student achievement.Keywords: Motivation, family support, academic achievement

Abstract

Medical waste is a waste directly generated by medical activities at hospitals that classified as harmful and poisonous wastes and potentially endanger the hospital community that requires a systematic and sustainable management process in accordance with the policy of waste management according to the decree of Health Minister Number 1204/Menkes/SK/X/ on Hospital Health Environmental Requirements. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative method approach which aims to know and analyze the type of waste contained and waste management method applied by Putri Hijau Level II Hospital, Medan. In addition, the research sample is all parts and installation units related to waste management at Putri Hijau Level II Hospital, Medan. The data is analized to describe the type of waste and waste management method at Putri Hijau Level II Hospital, Medan. The result of this research showed that the waste at Putri Hijau Level II Hospital Medan is medical and non medical waste with garbages, rubbish, radioactive waste and liquid waste. Moreover, the process of liquid waste management at Tk Putri Hijau Level II Hospital Medan is still using the decree of Health Minister Republic of Indonesia Number 1204/year 2004 while the SOP that has been made has not been legalized and socialized. For liquid waste, the volume of liquid waste was generated in the average of 38 m3/day. The implementation of liquid waste management policy was applied according to SOP restricted in the Policy of Health Minister Republic of Indonesia Number 1204/ Menkes/ SK/ X/ 2004 on Hospital Health Environmental Requirements.Keywords: medical waste management, hospital waste

Abstract

The infant mortality rate is one indicator in determining thehealth status of children. Every year the death of the newborn or neonatalreached 37% of all deaths in children under five. Every day 8,000 newbornbabies around the world die from causes that can not be prevented. Themajority of all infant deaths, 75% occur in the first weeks of life andbetween 25% and 45% of these deaths occur within the first 24 hours of ababys life. The main causes of neonatal mortality or neonatal worldincluding premature infants born 29%, sepsis and pneumonia 25% and23% of the infants born with asphyxia and trauma, birth asphyxia occupiescause of infant mortality to third in the world in the early period of life(WHO , 2012). Abstract

The research objective is to determine the factors related to Posyandu cadres Activeness in Puskesmas Kutabaro working areas of Aceh Besar Districts in 2014. This study is analytical descriptive using cross-sectional design. The population is all cadres of Posyandu which the total amounts are 261 people. The samples in this study are 72 people by using proportional sampling technique followed by random sampling by drawing. The study was conducted on February, 6th-27th 2014 at Puskesmas Kuta Baro. The research results mention that by using statistic test result that there is no relation to the community support, no relation to the appreciation, no relation to the training, and no relation with the facilities, against the Activeness of the Posyandu cadres. The research are no relations among the community support, training and the facility available to Activeness of the Posyandu cadres the support, but there is a relation between the appreciation and Activeness of the Posyandu cadres. Keywords:Community Support, Facilities, Activeness, Training, Appreciation

Abstract

The incidence of premature birth and low birth weight due to maternal malnutrition (chronic energy malnutrition/ CED, which is characterized by upper arm circumference of less than 23.5 cm. the number of pregnant women in the region of Krueng Barona Jaya health centers in 2016 amounted to 347 people who suffered as much as CED 20 people. To determine the relationship of age, education, parity, spacing pregnancies and disease with the incidence of maternal hamil.penelitian CED analytic with case control design. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with a sample of 40 respondents (20 respondents as a control and 20 respondents as the case) the data collection was carried out in 24 - Juni 29, 2017 in pregnant women at health centers working area Krueng Barona Jaya, Aceh Besar. The data collected by using questionnaire, then performed the chi-square test with a confidence level of 95% and the limit of significance (α = 0.05). Age has a risk to the CED in pregnant women (p = 0.003) (OR = 13.5), educational risk to the occurrence of at CED in pregnant women (p = 0.001) (OR = 13.2), parity risk to the occurrence of CED in pregnant women (p = 0.024) (OR = 6.0), spacing pregnancies have against the SEZ in pregnant women and infectious diseases also have exposure to the CED in pregnant women (p = 0.000) (OR = 17.0) , Age, education, parity, birth spacing and the risk of infectious diseases provides an opportunity to CED in pregnant women in Puskesmas Krueng Barona Jaya, Aceh Besar Year 2017. Results of this study can be a benchmark for assessment of nutritional status of pregnant women, so expect future health workers able to detect early so as to minimize the incidence of CED in pregnant women.Keywords: age, education, parity, spacing pregnancies, chronic energy deficiency

Abstract

Fear of public speaking is influenced by several factors, including the factor of emotional maturity and self efficacy factor. This study aims to investigate the relationship between emotional maturity and self efficacy with public speaking anxiety in students. This research was conductedat the University of Nusantara PGRI Kediri and by quantitative (correlational) research. Sample is student counseling about 132 people. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The type of instrument used in this study of Emotional Maturity scale, scale Self Efficacy and Anxiety scale public speaking using a Likerts caling models. The results showed there was no correlation between the emotional maturity in front of public speaking(rxy = -0,094); there is a relationship between Self Efficacy with Fear of public speaking ((rxy = -0,224); and there is a relationship between Emotional Maturity and Self Efficacy with Fear of public speaking (R = 0,043).Keywords: fear of public speaking, emotional maturity, self efficacy

Abstract

The results obtained from interview to 10 nursing mothers. When being asked about their opinion of the Breast Milk Bank, 2 women answered that Breast Milk Bank is the place to storage breast milk, because they got information from the health officers and browsed in internet. While 8 other women did not know about the Breast Milk Bank. The research was conducted to know about nursing mother perception about the breast milk bank in mother and child hospital in  Blang Padang Banda Aceh in 2013. The research was conducted on August, 24th – 30th, 2013. This is a descriptive study by using cross-sectional approach to 69 respondents who breastfeed by distributing questionnaires. The results showed that from 69 respondents, 41 people (59.4%) have a positive perception and 28 people (40.6%) have negative perceptions. It is meant that the available of Breast Milk Bank in Mother and Child Hospital in Blang Padang is positive. This result is expected to become the input and information for nursing mothers about Breast Milk Bank.Keywords: Perception, nursing mothers, Breast Milk Bank

Abstract

Preeclampsia has an impact on renal function. Preeclampsia may also be made more complicated by the presence of convulsions called eclampsia and resulted in many maternal deaths associated with hypertension, preeclampsia and eclampsia patients in the Meuraxa public hospital midwifery room in 2014 recorded 491 who gave birth to preeclamps cases of 30 and In the year 2015 recorded sebayak 560 people who gave birth with preeklamsi cases as many as 30 people, from this data there is an increase in 2015 as many as 69 people give birth. Research purpose: To know the effect of age, multiple pregnancy, and gravida on the incidence of preeclampsia at Meuraxa General Hospital at Banda Aceh 2014. This research is an analytical survey with Case Control design. The population in this study were all mothers who gave birth at the Meuraxa general hospital. The sample of this study were 40 people consisting of 20 cases and 20 controls. This research was conducted on 31 May to 7 June 2016. Data collection was done by using research form using secondary data. Then in the statistic using chi-quare, Ho is rejected if p- value> 0.05 and Ha is accepted if p- value <0.05. The results showed that based on the results of statistic obtained p-value = 0.001 means there is influence between maternal age with the incidence of preeclampsia and the results of OR 21,000. While the result of tesistatistik obtained p-value = 0.068 means there is no influence between multiple pregnancy with the incidence of preeclampsia and the value of OR 6,000. Then the results obtained tahistatistik p-value = 0.001 means there is the influence of gravida with the incidence of preeclampsia and OR value of 0.076. There is an influence of maternal age, no multiple pregnancy effects, there is a gravida effect with preeclampsia occurrence. For it is expected to pregnant women and maternity mothers to do prevention so as not to experience preeklamsi events and can provide new imformasi for educational institutions and for the next author who want to do the other research.Keywords: age, double pregnancy, and gravida on the preeclampsia
