Abstract

The purpose of research to describe the application of optimization programs empowerment fishing families in the district Wedung Demak on the field's Health, education, social, cultural and economic as well as describing its effectiveness in reducing poverty. Design research is a practical action (practical action research). The location of research is in the District Wedung Posdaya District of Demak. The primary resource is fishing families involved in target Posdaya, informal and non-formal community leaders. Collecting data by interview and observation. The validity of the data with confidence, perseverance, and honesty. Qualitative research data analysis with interactive model. The results showed empowerment fishing families with garbage bank program, early childhood parenting, family counseling aware of nutrition, marketing management training fish jerky products through packaging and product quality, assessed effectively empower families of fishermen. Fishing families have the opportunity to participate in development in the areas of health, education, economic and socio-cultural values are clean and healthy, so that they can improve a clean and healthy lifestyle, become self-sufficient families and families who can increase his income.Keywords:Coastal Community Empowerment Model, Family Empowerment Post, Non-formal Education

Abstract

This study exploring teachers' difficulties students when solving problems and teachers’ effort to help students overcome these difficulties. Classroom practices and strategies teachers used in their attempts to foster student problem solving success were also studied. Data included analyses of interview transcriptions of students and teachers' responses. Findings from teachers' responses showed students' abilities to read and understand the problem was the most frequently cited difficulty; standardized testing and text difficulties were the most cited causes of those difficulties. Data analysis showed that students were not successful at obtaining solutions for the following reasons (1) Lack of comprehension of the problem posed, (2) Lack of strategy knowledge; (3) Inability to translate the problem into a mathematical form; (4) Inability to use the correct mathematics; (5) Inappropriate strategy used, (6) Incorrect formulation of the mathematical form; (7) Computational errors; (9) Imperfect mathematical knowledge; and (10) Misinterpretation of the problem. Keywords:solving mathematicalproblems, difficulties, students, teacher

Abstract

The background for this study is the ability of a service under the mastery of technique, top service and the ability to serve cekis in a volleyball game where before conducting research there are a number of athletes who have so perfectly mastered, especially in the mastery of the technique, which occurred in mid-level women athletes (Intermediate) the ball club Volly in Sigli town. This study aims to develop a wide range of draft model design engineering practice, and to develop the initial product manufacturing, testing implement small group, large group test, and implement test the effectiveness of the product, so as to obtain results in the form of improved quality of training and technical mastery of athletes, particularly servicing over , lower servicing and cekis in volleyball game at the mid-level women athletes (Intermediate) Bolavolli club in the city of Sigli.Research development or better known as the research and development carried out at the club Bolavolli in Sigli town. The subjects of the study is the son of middle-level athletes, amounting to 22 athletes from the club volleyball PLN Pidie, and 22 athletes from Metro-Sigli volleyball club and volleyball club Corolla (Sigli Volleyball Club). Small group test phase carried out in club volleyball PLN Pidie, followed by a large group test conducted in volleyball club Metro-Sigli. While the implementation phase of product effectiveness test conducted in the Metro-club volleyball and club volleyball Sigli Corolla (Sigli Volleyball Club).This study was able to develop the skills training model figure mainly "service engineering practice models top, bottom and cekis services at the secondary level women athletes Bolavolli club in the city of Sigli. Results mastery of technical skills training model of servicing the top, bottom and cekis servicing obtained based on: 1) Summary data of the percentage of questionnaires and validation by a number of experts were obtained with an average score of 67% and 73%, and it was included in the category quite valid, it means the product service engineering skills training models above, below and cekis service so that it can be used and applied as a model practice guidelines on Bolavolli club mid-level women athletes (Intermediate). Percentage data model results are tested on small groups derived from the mastery of technical skills training model of the athletes which amounted to 81.10%, which means that a valid use, and a large group practice models gained mastery over the technical servicing and servicing under the bolavolli amounted to 85.34 % means that the product is valid to use, so it can be interpreted as if the models developed in real capable of delivering results, and extraordinary contribution accurate, especially in the mastery of technique training models servicing top, bottom and cekis services in bolavolli.Thus, to interpret the results of the development of a model figure for a given treatment group, in which case there is a significant difference between the groups before being given treatment when compared with the group after being given treatment. Based on data from the pretest-posttest athletes showed a mastery of the results of technical skills training models amounted to 62.27%, and thereafter the product models (the process of treatment) then the effect of increased very significantly to the mastery of technical skills training model products with obtaining results amounting to 67.27%. Differences in the form of percentage figures is a result of the result of the provision and application of product models (such as treatment), where the impact of a given product models and demonstrate a very remarkable effect significant at deeper levels, in terms of mastery of product models mainly servicing engineering practice models above , lower servicing and cekis in bolavolli.Keywords: design training models, bolavolli, servicing top, bottom servicing, cekis, treatment, and research and development, or R and D.

Abstract

Getting students to learn and be confident has always challenged teachers and educationists. With the introduction of the subject of Instructional Design, teaching is now looked upon as a stepped process through which students must be taken through. To this end many teaching models have been proposed and used by teachers all over the world. At the same time, it has been noticed that students who take “ownership” of their learning are most likely to become independent learners. Also, with the huge rise in demand for tertiary level education all over the world and more so in developing countries like Bangladesh developing successful models to manage the wave of new students has become even more important. In Bangladesh, the increased demand is coming from rural students who have had a limited access to proper primary and secondary education available in the rural areas of Bangladesh. This has added to the challenge of being able to deliver teaching that can turn around students who have poor study and language skills. In this paper we propose a stepped teaching model based on verses from the Qur’an that talk about the brain. We apply this model to training 54 newly recruited teachers who have joined Daffodil International University in the semester of spring, 2015. The idea is the teachers should evaluate the model and if perceived effective use the model in their own teaching. Abstract

That background for this research is the ability in mastering the technical skills led mainly led slalom and pass in football where before conducting research there are a number of athletes who do not really optimal in mastering the technical skills, this has happened to the son of middle-level athletes in the School of Football (SSB ) in Banda Aceh. This study aims to developt a wide range of draft model design engineering skills training, preparing in the manufacture of the initial product, carry out test small group, large group test, and implement test the effectiveness of the product, so as to obtain results in the form of improved quality of training and technical mastery of athletes, especially herding slalom and pass the football at the middle school level athletes sons Football (SSB) in Banda Aceh.Research development or better known as the research and development carried out at the School of Football (SSB) Real Madrid Foundation RMF-Aceh, and the School of Football (SSB) Young Stars Banda Aceh. The subjects of the study is the son of middle-level athletes who numbered 44 athletes from SSB Real Madrid Foundation, and 22 athletes from Young Stars SSB Banda Aceh. Test phase was conducted in a small group of Young Stars SSB, followed by a large group test conducted in SSB Real Madrid Foundation Aceh. While the implementation phase of product effectiveness test conducted in SSB Real Madrid Foundation and the Young Stars SSB.This study was able to develop the skills training model figure terutamamodel herding techniques slalom skills training and pass the intermediate level athletes sons School Football (SSB) in Banda Aceh. Results mastery of skills training models herding techniques and pass the slalom obtained based on: 1) Summary data of the percentage of questionnaires and validation by a number of experts who obtained an average score of 67% and 73%, and it was included in the category of pretty valid, means that the product model of skill training and pass the slalom herding techniques in football can be used and applied as a model practice guidelines on SSB son of middle-level athletes. Percentage data model results in ujicobakan in small groups derived from mastery of technical skills training model of the athletes which amounted to 81.10%, which means that a valid use, and a large group gained mastery of skills training models herding techniques slalom and pass in football is at 85.34 % means that the product is valid to use, so it can be interpreted as if the models developed in real capable of delivering results, and a very remarkable contribution accurate, especially in the mastery of technical skills training models led slalom and pass in football.Thus, to interpret the results of the development of a model for a given treatment group, in which case there is a significant difference between the groups before being given treatment when compared with the group after being given treatment. Abstract

This article discuss about inclusive education concept for children with disabilities. Based on Law No. 4  1997 on persons with disabilities,  This term used to the person who has a mental or physical difficulties and disorder, which may interfere with or be seen as a barrier and a barrier in performing normal activities such as deaf, blind and learning disabilities. Inclusive education is the provision of education system that provides opportunities for all learners who has the disorder and intelligence or special talent to participate in general education (PerMendikNas No. 70 2009). This study attempt to explain inclusive education for the children with disabilities referring to the results previous research. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the principal's strategy in leading teachers and employees in the utilization of various educational resources and the effortprincipals In overcoming obstacles to improve the quality of graduates at SMA N 12 Banda Aceh.This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The subjects in this study were principals, teachers, employees and the administration. School supervisors and school committees.The technique of collecting the data wereinterview,observation and documentation.The results of this study showed (1) the principal's strategy in improving the quality ofgraduates in SMA N 12 Banda Acehincluding performing the principal's task as EMASLIM, involving teachers in RPS, MGMP development, conduct teacher professional development and curriculum through workshop activities,study seminars and others. (2) In an effort to improve the quality of graduates at SMA N 12 Banda Aceh, the principal had made the use of various resources that exist professionally, strengthening teacher tasks / professionalism, and involving the community in order to successing the 12-year compulsory education program and the improvement of faith and piety to God Almighty. (3) The principal's strategy in overcoming barriers to quality improvement of graduates at SMA N 12 Banda Aceh, such as, by involving the community in school programs through school committees both quality improvement and fund handling, developing and improving teachers' understanding of the curriculum substance.Keywords: Management of principal's strategy and quality of graduates

Abstract

Program kepala sekolah yang efektif merupakan salah satu faktor penentu peningkatan mutu lulusan dan keberhasilan pendidikan di sekolah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program, strategi, kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu lulusan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah: kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, komite sekolah, waka pengajaran, ketua MGMP dan dewan guru. Hasil penelitan diperoleh: (1) program peningkatan mutu lulusan pendidikan dengan meningkatkan mutu proses mengajar guru, mengadakan pelatihan-pelatihan, kompetensi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, menerapkan manajemen terbuka, melakukan kerja sama dengan internal dan eksternal dengan baik, mendelegasikan tugas kepada bawahan dengan penuh tanggung jawab.  Kata kunci: Program Kepala Sekolah dan Mutu Lulusan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa hubungan antara penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group invetigasi dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 29 mahasiswa program studi farmasi semester pertama, dengan tingkat kemampuan awal dari mahasiswa berbeda secara signifikan. Dalam pelaksanaan studi ini digunakan 6 pertanyaan dari 15 pertanyaan tes MPI (Mathematical Processing Instrument) yang dikembangkan oleh Hegarty & Kozhevnikov dan angket (skala sikap) tipe Likert yang terdiri dari 14 item pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Adanya hubungan positif antara penggunaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dengan kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematis dan self-concept mahasiswa dalam tes MPI; dan (2) Adanya pendapat positif dari mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dalam memecahkan masalah matematis.Kata Kunci: Group Investigation, Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, Self-Concept

Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan suatu upaya yang dilakukan oleh seorang Instruktur atau fasilitator untuk membelajarkan peserta yang belajar. Pembelajaran di lembaga diklat semakin berkembang, dari pengajaran yang bersifat tradisional sampai pembelajaran dengan sistem modern. Sehingga dalam pembelajaran muncullah pengembangan teori pemrosesan informasi yang disebut dengan teori sibernatik yang mana teori ini mempelajari kegiatan belajar dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi sesuai dengan perkembangan IT diera modern. Dalam hal ini, ditemukannya implikasi dengan adanya penerapan teori sibernetik.
