One way to help preserve the Javanese language is through learning. To preserve the Javanese language, a deeper introduction is necessary so that it can be effectively applied in the surrounding environment. The issue faced is that students find Javanese language learning boring because teachers need to use instructional media that can enhance the quality of Javanese language education. The purpose of this research is to evaluate how effectively e-comic media improves the knowledge of 3rd-grade students in understanding Javanese folktales. This research employs a quasi-experimental and quantitative methodology. The non-equivalent control group design is the type of quasi-experimental approach used. The data collection method utilized is testing. Instrument tests used include validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level analysis, discriminative power, and distractor function. The prerequisite tests used are normality tests and homogeneity tests. The hypothesis test used is the T-test. According to the data, the experimental class outperformed the control class in terms of improvement. The experimental class achieved an average post-test score of 76.6, while the control class averaged 64.3. The experimental class showed a score increase of 21 points, or 37.77%, whereas the control class improved by 16.27%. These findings support the hypothesis that e-comic media positively affects student learning outcomes. Additionally, the school will adopt this media so it can be adapted to the narratives present in the relevant curriculum.

This research aims to develop ethnomathematics-based teaching materials on shapes for 3rd-grade elementary school students. The research method used is Thiagarajan’s 4D development model, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. In the define stage, initial-final analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and learning objective analysis were conducted. The design stage involves systematically organizing the content framework of the teaching materials, including the initial draft, format selection, and preparation of the teaching materials, resulting in the first draft. Validation assessments by experts and student response questionnaires were also conducted at this stage. The development stage involves creating ethnomathematics-based teaching materials, which mathematics experts evaluate. After obtaining validation assessments, the teaching materials were tested on 26 students of the 3rd-grade elementary school. The results of the validation by experts indicate that these teaching materials have a very high feasibility level. The students’ responses also showed that the teaching materials are very suitable. The dissemination stage involves distributing these teaching materials to more schools to gain broader feedback. Overall, the ethnomathematics-based teaching materials developed in this study are feasible and effective for teaching mathematics in 3rd-grade elementary schools. This research demonstrates excellent potential for enhancing students’ understanding of two-dimensional figure concepts through an ethnomathematics approach. This approach connects mathematics with local culture, making learning more relevant and engaging

A teacher’s creativity in the learning process is one of the supporting factors. However, some teachers must be more creative and willing to develop their teaching activities. This research uses a qualitative approach and collects descriptive data through observations, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results and discussion regarding the process of teachers’ creativity in conducting attractive learning at SDN Cilenggang 2 in South Tangerang City, it concluded that teachers have been creative in implementing attractive learning. The school also supports teachers’ creativity by providing adequate learning facilities and offering teaching training to help them enhance their creativity. However, the classroom educators have not fully discovered their imagination in increasing the learning interest of 5th-grade students at SDN Cilenggang 2 in South Tangerang City. Teachers have used learning media effectively for certain subjects, although for others, they have yet to use media that aligns with the appropriate model. Due to the lack of educational games for 5th-grade students, educators still need to fully use their imagination to create an attractive teaching and learning environment. Nonetheless, teachers have created a conducive learning atmosphere by frequently conducting homerooms and encouraging students to sing to alleviate boredom during classes.

This research examines how the Quizlet application and the PBL model can improve elementary students’ understanding of cultural diversity. The research targets the low level of global diversity awareness among 5th-grade students at SDN Sudimara 1 Tangerang despite implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. An experimental method was employed, using a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design with two student groups: a control group using traditional teaching methods and an experimental group utilizing Quizlet alongside the PBL paradigm. Researchers collected data through observations, interviews, and tests, including pretests and post-tests. The findings showed that the experimental group’s average post-test score was higher than the control group’s. The experimental group achieved an average post-test score of 84.48, while the control group reached an average of 73.08, a difference of 11.4 points. Additionally, the experimental group improved its average score from 66.04 to 84.48, whereas the control group increased from 58.44 to 73.08. The results indicate that the PBL model supported by Quizlet can help students understand global diversity better. According to this research, using the Quizlet application with the PBL paradigm can raise educational standards and enhance elementary students’ awareness of cultural diversity. Implementing this model in the educational process enables students to gain a deeper understanding of cultural diversity and fosters a stronger desire to learn.
