Abstract

Reward and punishment are methods can be applied in educating children, both given by teachers and parents. Reward is an educational reaction to the good deeds that have been done by students. Reward as a methode of motivating children to do good and improve their achievements. Reward given is a pleasant feeling thatgives rise to the desire in the child to do good and better things in the future, but not to thicken the maternal nature. In contrast to the opposite, punishment is a sanction given to the child when making mistake. Abstract

This study is aimed to know the kinds of phonological interference happen on the English pronunciation of the students of an elementary school in Kediri, East Java. The data were collected by asking the students to read a passage, and this activity was audio-recorded. The data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative on content analysis. The result of the analysis showed that the phonological interference on the English pronunciation of the students was influenced by their Indonesian language system. It was found nineteen types of interference on the segmental aspects which consisted of nine vowel substitutions, two vowel shortenings and four consonant substitutions, two deletions of consonants and two additions of consonants. On the suprasegmental aspect (stress) there weretwenty misplaced stresses.Keywords;Phonological interference, segmental, suprasegmental.

Abstract

AbstractToday’s Javanese society, especially in the socio-religious field, is experiencing quite rapid development. One of the characteristics is that there are several new traditions which are more dominant about Islam. Therefore, the level of curiosity of the Javanese people towards the religious sciences is also increasing. The various traditions that exist among the Javanese are closer to the hearts of the whole community because they are in accordance with the cultural understanding that has existed since ancient times namely the respect / glory to the events of birth, marriage, and death. One tradition that developed in Javanese society is the fida 'tradition. Fida Tradition 'is a tradition which contains a dzikir event together to atone for the sins of people who have died by reciting surah al-ikhlas 100,000 times or tahlil 70,000 times. This situation, raises the writer's curiosity that the fida 'tradition in Javanese society that connects dhohir and ghoib is a part of scientific effort. This research belongs to the category of field research and literature research, where the writer conducts interviews with the kyai and also the writer seeks various references from several books, theses, journals, or documents that have a similar theme to the problem under study. From this research, it can be concluded that the fida 'tradition that exists in Javanese society in the perspective of Islamic law is a suggestion in the Islamic religion and there are a number of corroborating propositions.Keywords: Fida tradition; javanese community; islamic law

Abstract

Salah satu keterampilan membaca yang dikembangkan untuk pelajar adalah membaca bebas (perpustakaan). Tujuan dikembangkanya membaca bebas adalah untuk menumbuhkan kegemaran membaca, menambah pengetahuan dan rekreasi. Mengasah membaca bebas (perpustakaan) pada hakekatnya bertujuan untuk menanamkan kebiasaan membaca. Melalui tugas menulis pelajar dibimbing untuk terampil menggunakan bahasa Indonesia ragam tulis. Pengajar membimbing pelajar untuk terampil dan memiliki kompetensi dalam membaca bebas (perpustakaan) untuk menulis karya tulis ilmiah yang berguna untuk menunjang materi ajar yang lain. Tugas menulis dapat mengasah kemampuan pelajar dalam menjelaskan konsep membaca, melakukan proses pemahaman bacaan, mengetahui tujuan membaca, mampu menyimpulkan bacaan karya ilmiah dan mampu mengakses internet untuk memenuhi tugas menulis.Keywords; Minat siswa, membaca bebas, tugas menulis

Abstract

It starts from two hadith in Sunan Ibn Majah book related to the way of praying. The first hadith explains that the Prophet SAW prays without lifting hands except when istisqo’ prayer; meanwhile, the second hadith shows the Prophet’s instruction to shahabat to lift hand when absolutely praying. From those contradiction hadith, there are some problems as follows: 1) how is the quality of sanad and matan of those hadith of ibn Majah? 2) how is the hadith hujjah? 3) how is appropriate ta’wil toward those hadith? The methods used in this research are takhrīj al-ḥadīth and hadith contradiction (Mukhtalif al-ḥadīth) methods. The research findings are first the quality of sanad hadith ibn Majah no.1180 is ḥasan li dhātih, while the quality of sanad hadith ibn Majah no. 1181 is al-ḍa’īf; second, both hadith Ibn Majah no. 1180 and 1181 can become hujjah. However, the difference is that the first hadith can be the basis in taking law since the hadith status is ḥasan li dhātih. Meanwhile, the second hadith can become hujjah if its quality improve become hadith ḥasan li ghayrih with other hadith having similar meaning. Third, the contradiction of matan hadith Ibn Majah no. 1180 and 1181 shows various methods including in tanawwu’ fi al-‘ibādah category (diversity in praying). Abstract

This article describes hadith memorizing tradition in pesantren Al-Fatah, Temboro, Karas Magetan, by studying the motive, purpose, and urgency of hadith memorization (tah}fi>z} al-H{adi>th) in the pesantren. This study employes qualitative research through phenomenology approach to understand the phenomena, especially the attitude and the experience of the pesantren’s community related to research and hadith memorization. In collecting the data, this study uses interview, observation, and documentation. Interview is used to explore data about the process, motive, and the purpose to be achieved in hadith memorizing in the pesantren Al-Fatah Temboro Karangrejo Magetan. Interview is done to teacher, kyai, and students involved in hadith memorizing program. Observation is done by observing directly in the learning process of hadith study included hadith memorizing. Then documentation is used to collect the data and documents related to the result of hadith memorizing. The findings show that the activity of hadith memorizing in the pesantren Al-Fatah has some motives namely to make students have common interaction with the Prophet’s hadith and to strengthen the basic argument with hadith. However, the use of memorization in understanding hadith to solve law problems is not practiced yet. Abstract

Mosque is a worship place for Muslim, especially for conducting prayer. Mosque is often called as Baitullah (Allah house) which has main function as a prayer place, pray, reciting Al-Qur’an, recitation and others worships. By analyzing historical data, this article explains that in Rasulullah era and early Islam generation, mosque has larger function, not only as a worship place, but also as a center of community’s activities as like learning place, economy development center, politic development center, dakwah center, and moral development center. Abstract

The position of the hadith in Islamic religious education becomes the basis and foundation for the concepts, framework and design of Islamic religious education, bearing in mind that the hadith gives more concrete reasons regarding the application of various activities that must be developed in Muslim life. and living framework. The method used in this study is the study of literature, namely by collecting various references in the form of books, books, documents and articles that are assembled with the themes discussed. Results: that the concept of Islamic education in the review of educational hadiths found and analyzed included: basic education, learning obligations, educational objectives, educational institutions, learning materials (education), learning methods, educators (teachers), students (students), women's education and evaluation learning. These ten become the basic framework in building Islamic religious education in accordance with the hadith of the Prophet. Abstract

This study is aims at finding some causes why some students became slow learners by employing the attribution theory proposed by Weiner.Regarding to Weiner’s theory, the researcher finds that slow learning among studens is strongly related to their attribution toward the success and failure during learning process. That is the reason why slow learning is likely to happen. Such cases happen when the students attribute their success and failure in learning based on external and internal factors so that stability and unstability are controallable. When the success is attributed by the external and internal factors and stability, the possibility to get success in the future is likely to happen again and the satisfation overwhelms the student. On the other hand, when the students fail during learning, it will make them to be embarrassed, to lose their dignity and to have negative assumption toward the failure in the future. In addition, the repeatly failure among the students might cause a phenomena which is commonly called learning  helplessness. Learning helplessness make the students not only to be a slow learner but also not to be able to complete the study.Key Words: Attribution, success, failure, external or internal, stability,                 learning helplessness.

Abstract

The view toward women as second class human after men has been happened a long time. This stigma is risen from culture side, not from religious side, since in Islam there is no difference between men and women positions. Each human are equal in their capacity as human being. However, in fact, some religious texts from al-Qur’an and Hadith that are textually, partially and tendentiously understood unfortunately become tools to demeaning women. This article discusses one hadith misoginis about women as the majority of hell inhabitant through takhrīj al-ḥadīth approach and based on contextual understanding.
