Abstract

This paper discussed the common link theory applied through the hadith about women as a source of slander which was considered false by Juynboll; associated with the discussion of the gharib nisbi hadith in the Muslim tradition. Common link, invented by Joseph Schact and developed by Juynboll, was interpreted as forgers or disseminators of hadith. Using theory of common link–the medium of criticism for sanad authenticity–that tended to claim the hadith was made by common link narrator, could be proved that one narrator was not always falsified the hadith. Therefore, future research was needed to investigate whether the narrator himself gets the hadith from his teacher indeed or not. In this case, this paper argued that common link theory was identical with gharib nisbi hadith in which a hadith initially narrated by some narrators, then narrated by one narrator in the middle of chain. Despite some hadith critics doubt about its validity, the discussion result was in line with al-Shafi'i who did not judge from the quantity of the narrators, but from the quality of the narrators.Tulisan ini membahas mengenai aplikasi teori common link melalui hadis tentang wanita sebagai sumber fitnah yang dianggap palsu oleh Juynboll dengan mengaitkan pada pembahasan hadis gharib nisbi dalam tradisi Muslim. Common link yang digagas oleh Joseph Schact dan dikembangkan oleh Juynboll secara sederhana dapat diartikan sebagai pemalsu atau penyebar hadis. Penggunaan teori common link sebagai media kritik otentitas sanad yang cenderung mengklaim bahwa hadis itu adalah buatan perawi common link dapat dijawab bahwa tak selamanya perawi tunggal itu memalsukan hadis. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya penelitian lebih lanjut apakah perawi itu benar-benar sendiri ketika mendapatkan hadis dari gurunya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tulisan ini berpandangan bahwa teori common link identik dengan sistem hadis gharib nisbi yaitu hadis yang pada awalnya diriwayatkan oleh beberapa perawi kemudian diriwayatkan oleh seorang perawi saja pada pertengahan jalur sanadnya. Meskipun beberapa kritikus hadis meragukan kevalidannya, hasil bahasan ini sejalan dengan pendapat al- al-Shafi'i yang tidak menilai dari kuantitas perawi, melainkan melihat dari kualitas perawi.

Abstract

The development of interpretation method and its approach have given place for academician to discuss about soul through scientific approach. It raises debate which has not been finished yet. In one side, there is a claim that this approach results inappropriate interpretation of Al-Qur’an. However, in other side, this approach can result contextual meaning of Al-Qur’an. Soul, the mysterious thing in life, can be used to be an object of research in science. Therefore, the research on the interpretation of Al-Qur’an through scientific approach results the definition of soul and the detection of its place which can be explained through scientific research. Keywords: Soul, interpretation of knowledge, scientific perspective

Abstract

The muslim are in happiness with the development of Islamic bank. If Islamic bank in Indonesia compared with Islamic bank all part of the world, Indonesia is the biggest one, biggest in totality of Islamic bank, biggest in totality of Customer, DPS, banker and biggest in totality of university which offers Islamic bank program. However it is very ironic lot of muslim respond it negatively. The fact shows us that muslim customers are lower than non muslim customers of Islamic bank. Really Islamic bank is a bank based on shariate principles in operationalization and has different characteristics and principles it compared with conventional bank. Principles of Islamic bank are 1. Opposed to usury, 2. Sell and by priority, 3. Mutual helping and corporation, 4. Justice and, 5. Corporation increasing achievement. In legality perspective Islamic bank clearly based on low, in operational activities, those are 1. Constitution and regulation of Indonesia bank, 2. Fatwa of DSN (Dewan Syari’ah Nasional) 3. Other conventional constitutional regulation, so Islamic bank is permitted in Islamic low, otherwise Islamic bank permitted in Islamic low, Islamic bank has many opportunities and some challenges and need best solution. Those challenges are 1. Limitation in human recourses, 2. Limitation in capital, 3. Limitation in socialization and education to community, 4. Limitation in loyalty of customer, 5. Abstract

Indonesian Islamic community is facing two unprofit concept. First, fundamentalism that has radical action. Second, liberalism that grows desakralization of religion. Those conditions have a big role to influence howthe sosiety act in religion, social, and politic. As a rahmah li al-‘alamin, Islam had offered a concept that full of solution from Rasulullah s alla Alla h ‘alaih wa sallama utterance. That concept gives someone’s Islamic indicator formula, not only be seen from identity, but also from their speak (lisan) and hands (yad). This article will explain the mean from utterance by integration-interconnection paradigm with communication psychology approachment and maudlu’i hadis. From this reseach, there’s an information that oral meaning is related in how to communicate, both of spoken or written. While yad meaning is a mufti’s knowledge, leader’s authorization, wealth of rich people, and prayers of the poor. That concept is related how someone’s speak and act well as their each proportion. Abstract

The labour and wage problems is one of central issues in the contemporary industrial economy. Wagework is the leading provider of tax-advantage consumer directed health, commuter and other employee benefi t. In order to compromise between employee and employer interest, the government set a minimum regional wage. Minimum wage policy in Indonesia is set based an a survey of decent living needs. Hizbut Tahrir is one of Islamic movement that calls to return to the practise of Islam in the all of life sides. Then, Hizbut Tahrir concerns to study of Islamic economy, especially the economy of Islamic state and public fi nance. Hizbut Tahrir has different opinion with other moslem economic about standard wage rates. Standard wage rates – refers Hizbut Tahrir opinions- is only based the work utility of labor. The basic living needs cannot be the standard of wage. The wage rate is prerogative right of employee and employer, described a agreement based the utility of work. This opinion different with mainstream moslem economic. Abstract

The terms in hadith study is often ambiguous and difficult to differentiate. As the terms of hadith, sunah, khabar, and atsar are often used at the same time. For hadith observers, it becomes serious problem and complicated since those terms have significant difference. Hence, the same usage of those terms cannot be accepted. One of the debatable issues in discussing hadith study is about disagreement in defining the term of hadith understanding. The hadith scholars mention it in three terms: fiqh al-ḥadith, fahm al-ḥadith dan naqd al-ḥadith. Each term has different perception related to its scope and limitation. One should be underlined that although those terms are different, the purposes are same namely hadith understanding activities. This article discusses the definition of fiqh al-ḥadith, fahm al-ḥadith dan naqd al-ḥadith and their sects and affiliation of hadith understanding. Abstract

Abstract: The research studies the tradition of recitation nariyah 4444 blessings in Islamic boarding school Al-Jihad Surabaya. The focus is on knowing the signification of selawat nariyah and its relevance as a means of tawasul. It is based field research, that is, concerning living hadits phenomena characterized by descriptive, qualitative and inductive study. It means that the research aimed at gaining general picture or the description about living hadits. The approach to be used in the study is phenomenological one combined with functional theory. It results that the developing tradition in the life of Al-Jihad people is living-hadits one. In addition, there are some principal hadits to be used as guide in the activity. Abstract

This article discusses the phenomenon of ambruk tradition in Ngesong, Tiron village, Banyakan-Kediri. Ngesong community has a tradition in which candidate of bridegroom and bride which have not been legal based on Islamic law and State law stay in one house. Through sociology approach, this article tries to investigate this socio-culture context. Ambruk tradition is a tradition done after engagement session and the decision of the marriage day by transferring the candidate of bridegroom to the family of the candidate of the bride. Ambruk tradition has two aspects namely helping works of the candidate of the parent in-law and staying in the parent in-law’s house.  In Islamic law perspective, ambruk tradition is prohibited; though helping the candidate of the parent in-law is permitted. Staying in the candidate of parent in law’s house although for helping them is ‘urf fasid since it is harmful and makes sin of khalwah and zina. Meanwhile, the afraid of making damage or sins must be prohibited. Abstract

This article aims at examining and analyzing contextually and critically the understanding on hadith as a comparison study between orientalism and Occidentalism’s understanding. The hadith understanding both critically and contextually has been existed and will continuously exist doing by whoever included orientalist and occidentalist which is considered fair as long as its has high objectivity and fulfill scientific research standard to avoid bias and personal purpose. The objectivity and scientific standard are such as commitment, can be tested and verified, trusted, objectivity, and can be used in general. Hadith contextualizing or the effort to interpret hadith based on its context and time is important to be done to answer the dynamic and progressive social reality. Abstract

Islam freed adherents make a selection from the church in the search for his true identity in this world. The phenomenon of the excitement of urban and rural communities to the Islamic religion more real . Sufism or dhikr (Dzikir, wirid) is done in the form of doctrine, understanding and spiritual practices by individuals for the purpose of self-purification, in order to achieve the approach to the God (Kholiq). Sufism of urban intends to bring peace of mind, happiness, relief and satisfaction. Sufism of urban known modern times, it founded the middle of business meetings with a suit and tie of neatly.
