Abstract

Soemarmo Hadi Saputro elections in Semarang in 2015 that was held in December to invite the attention of the mass media. How the People's Daily Java Soemarmo image framing events in the news ahead of Election 2015. This study aims to determine how the media in reporting the People's Daily Java Soemarmo as a candidate for mayor using the structure of syntax, script, thematic and rhetorical. This study used a qualitative descriptive, framing analysis techniques with models developed by Pan and Gerald Zhongdhang M.Kosicki. The results of analysis of this study is the People's Daily Java-related news framing Soemarmo as a candidate for mayor of Semarang to prioritize the elements of persona and the elements of what. Although the news framing Soemarmo forward the elements of who and what, the People's Daily Java still show neutrality and objectivity in reporting to display items of news by displaying completeness 5W + 1H.

Abstract

The aim of this study determines the communication pattern samin tribal culture to the community in Blora related teachings espoused, and know the pattern of tribal cultural communication to the outside community cumin cumin in Blora related teachings espoused. The theoretical basis of communication used the symbolic interactionism. This theory explains humans interact and exchange of meaning, create, send, receive symbol agreed. The method used is the in-depth interviews and observation. Researchers chose purposive sampling as a technique of sampling . The case study research in Samin Tribe and the village of Sambong Klopoduwur District of Banjarejo.

Abstract

Abstract

Advertising is currently getting a huge challenge. the number of ads , it is realized or not, effects on saturation of advertising. New era media presents new communications media to the community. This condition should be recognized by anyone working in the advertising, because the development of advertising is in line with a new media movement, so the expectansy of the intended market segment will be achieved better.Today, the challenge of a new style of advertising has been answered by the professions related to a new advertising which is driven by the appearance and the popularity of the new social media. One of the new profession known by and used in advertising is a Buzzer. The principle work of Buzzer is similar to WOM (Word Of Mouth). However, it should also be remembered that the selection of buzzer is also important, so that the purpose of advertising can be achieved.

Abstract

The presence of television advertising is a prayer one way to manufacturer for review introduce and selling products for society. Regarding the regulation of advertising especially cigarettes and tobacco products manufacturer in order to encourage creative hearts introducing more on audience their product . As a result , the creativity in the hearts smoking ads aimed lifting product image so not operate direct products display .Singer study originated from the interest against visualization advertisements Djarum 76 series java jin  has its own peculiarities compared to other products . Abstract

Every choice of meaning is ideologically motivated. Ideology is most effective when its working is least visible. Interpreting ideology in a text can be seen from the choice of vocabulary and its grammatical construction. To analyze it we need to interpret not just the text but also the relationship between text, and its social condition. According to Fairclough, they can be grouped in three steps, those are description, interpretation and explanation. The stage of description is concerned with formal properties of the text, the interpretation is concerned with the relationship between text and its interactions, the explanation is concerned with the relationship between interpretation and social context. This research aims to analysis the coverage about the revealed case of preferential treatment of Arthalyta Suryani, a convicted bribe, at Pondok Bambu detention written by two online media these are detikNews.com and kompas.com by analyzing their appraisal system and their intertextuality. From the data analysis, ideology of the two media about this case can be seen. The data is taken from the news posted on January the tenth to twelfth 2010.  The methods used to analyze the data are referential method, substitusional method and abductive inference method.     Referential method is to analyze appraisal system and discursivity intertextuality of the text. In order to make the analysis of appraisal system valid, the substitusional method is needed. Then abductive inference method is needed to analyze manifest intertextuality of the text. From the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that every media has its own way to state its ideology. The ideology has closed relation with target market that is the reader. DetikNews.com is strightforward and short news, with incisive vocabulary choices, they are related to news item genre that detikNews.com has, but this media is lack of intertextuality. It makes the news superficial. On the other way, kompas.com has a deep coverage and strong intertextuality, it is suitable for someone who wants comprehensive information.

Abstract

The Information Technologies are growing fast. One of them is Internet. There are various applications to share information offered in Internet. WebTV is one of them. WebTV is interactive television using Internet as its distribution media. WebTV can be watched all the time, both delay or direct broadcasting.There are some main benefits of WebTV compared with common television are: there are no competition in getting frequency, the consumers are not limited by time to watch their preferred programs, there is an interaction in internet in using such services as e-mail, chat, e-commerce, e-government, e-education, digital trend influences the compound of television and internet, One of the strategies used in television industry is increasing the brand image.

Abstract

Deadly accident at Tugu Tani Jakarta not only shows the human side of an event. Dissemination of information through mass media is no longer dominant in determining how the audience should act. The emergence of social networking sites opens new channels for the dissemination of public information that is more believable. The development of information technology not only marked by the turn of the communication device but coupled with changes in the behavior of human users. They are actively selecting and using various media to meet the information needs, socialize, trade, and show the existence. The position of the mass media is no longer dominant in determining the type of information and the consuming public dictates the type of information. Through a social networking site and diverse site audience and information providers are actively selecting and using various types of information. In this position the media as marginalized (decenter) and does not become a major reference source.
