Abstract

The cress (Lactuca sativa L.) is a horticultural plant that has a considerable selling prospect and value. The development of lettuce has the good prospect of supporting more people's nutrition, greater job opportunities, agribusiness development. The purpose of this study is to know how media volume affects the growth and production of lettuce. As for the benefit of this study, information to the community in particular about how the volume of soil on the growth and production of the lettuce plant can affect and provide effective soil volume information on growth and the product of the lettuce. The study used random group design methods (shelves). The study was conducted from May 26 to July 8 with six treatment, treatment of 40 g/5 kg (V1), 40 g/6 kg (V2), treatment of 40 g/7 kg (V3) treatment of 40 g/ 8 kg (V4), treatment of 40 g/9 kg (V5) and treatment of 40 g/ 10 kg (V6). In the test of media volume on the lettuce plant, application of media volume 40 g/ 5 kg soil results in the best growth on all the observable parameters: plant height (cm), leaf number (cm), root length (cm), total fresh weight (g), and total dry weight of the plant (g)

Abstract

Pokcoy mustard is one type of horticultural plant that is easy to cultivate, can grow optimally if they are planted on land that has high enough macro and micro nutrients. This study aims to determine the "Response of Growth and Yield of Pkacoy Mustard (Brassica chinensis L.) Due to Dosage of Manure and Concentration of Cattle Biourine. The method used is a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with factorial treatment with 2 treatment factors. Factor 1: Dosage of cow manure with 5 levels, namely K0 (without cow manure), K1 (30 gr/10 kg of soil), K2 (60 gr/10 kg of soil), K3 (90 g / 10 kg of soil), and K4 (120 g / 10 kg of soil). Factor 2: concentration of bovine biorin with 5 levels, namely B0 (without beef biorin), B1 (bovine biorin 80 ml/1 liter of water), B2 (160 ml/1 liter of water), B3 (240 ml/1 liter water), and B4 (320 ml/1 liter of water). The results showed that treatment (K4B4) with a dose of cow manure 120 g/10 kg of soil with a concentration of biourin 320 ml/1 liter of water gave the best growth compared to other treatments for all observation parameters such as plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands). , leaf area (cm²), total fresh weight (g), total oven dry weight (g), fresh weight without roots (g), and oven dry weight without roots (g). and the lowest was in the K0B0 treatment without a dose of manure and cow biourin concentration.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the production costs and revenues of strawberry farming and to analyze the profit and efficiency level of strawberry farming in Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. The analytical method used in this study was descriptive and quantitative analysis. The sampling method used the slovin method, namely the sampling of 26 farmers. The result of this research is that the annual production cost of Strawberry farming in Pancasari Village is IDR 22,623,500.00 per land area of 29 acres or IDR 78.012 million per hectare, with annual farming income of IDR 64,044,000.00 per 29 acres or IDR 220. 841,300.00 per hectare. The profit of Strawberry farming in Pancasari Village per year is Rp. 41,420,500.00 per land area of 29 acres, or Rp. 142,829,300.00 per hectare, with farming efficiency or R/C Ratio of 2.83

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pemberian skor pada setiap parameter yang digunakan dan memberikan bobot penimbang pada masing-masing parameter yang besarnya sesuai dengan pengaruhnya terhadap evaluasi lahan tanaman salak Gulapasir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan interpretasi citra pengindraan jauh dan data sekunder, kemudian dioverlay sehingga memberikan empat tingkat kesesuaian yaitu sangat sesuai (S1), sesuai (S2), kurang sesuai (S3) dan tidak sesuai (N). Penentuan lokasi kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman salak Gulapasir dilakukan dengan metode evaluasi lahan yang menggunakan citra satelit sebagai sumber data dan data sekunder sebagai data pendukung.Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG).Penetuan kesesuaian lahan dilakukan dengan teknik pengharkatan (scoring) masing-masing karakteristik lahan.Kesesuaian lahan mewakili kecocokan fisik lahan untuk suatu macam peruntukan dan penggunaan lahan mewakili ketersediaan lahannya. Peta yang dihasilkan terdiri dari peta kesesuaian iklim, kesesuaian tanah, kesesuaian ketinggian, kesesuaian iklim dan tanah, kesesuaian iklim, tanah, dan ketinggian.Berdasarkan kesesuaian iklim, luas wilayah sangat sesuai 4.184,84 km2, sesuai 1.318,65 km2 dan kurang sesuai 133.16 km2.Untuk kesesuaian tanah, luas wilayah sangat sesuai 2.575,14 km2, sesuai 592.76 km2 dan kurang sesuai 2.467,91 km2. Untuk kesesuaian ketinggian, luas wilayah sangat sesuai 2.732,37 km2, sesuai 1.558,4 km2, kurang sesuai 454,99 km2 dan tidak sesuai 890.9 km2. Untuk kesesuaian iklim dan tanah, luas wilayah sangat sesuai 3.505,05 km2, sesuai 2.018,46 km2 dan kurang sesuai 113.15 km2. Sedangkan untuk kesesuaian iklim, tanah, dan ketinggian, luas wilayah sangat sesuai mencapai 3.658,48 km2, sesuai 1.848,01 km2, kurang sesuai 112,55 km2, dan daerah tidak sesuai seluas 17,62 km2.

Abstract

Indonesia is a vast country and most of its inhabitants work as farmers because it is supported by adequate land area and is used to cultivate food crops and horticulture. In addition to the consumption of society, food crops are also very important role in improving the economy of the community. The first step taken by the farmers to obtain the maximum output is that the farmers must conduct seed identification before the farmer planting process firstly selects the seeds and physical selection of seeds and also the farmer must be observant in sorting the seed varieties to avoid the seeds or damaged seeds, dormancy of seeds and free seeds from disease so as to obtain superior and high yielding seeds. This study aims to determine the level of farmers' satisfaction in cultivating the seeds of the Hybrid Glutinous Maize F1, and to find out what the reasons for the farmers choose the seed of Hybrid Ketan F1 in Subak Buaji Kesiman Subdistrict, East Denpasar District.. This study used interview method of determining the respondents using random sampling method with the number of respondents as many as 30 people then the results tabulated and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that farmers' satisfaction level in using hybrid seeds F1 of 68.72% included in the category of satisfaction and the reason farmers use hybrid sticky rice seed is the age of plants and the shorter harvesting process is ± 2.5 months and provide satisfaction for farmers because it reduces maintenance costs so as to increase farmers' income.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) Effect of Seed Production Factor, urea fertilizer, ponska fertilizer, manure and labor in Kesiman Village, and (2) Efficient Use of Seed Production Factor, urea fertilizer, ponska fertilizer, manure, farm work at Kelurahan Kesiman Denpasar Timur. The research was conducted by survey / interview, in Kelurahan Kesiman, This location was chosen purposively (purponsive), whereas while the determination of respondents selected simple random sampling (Simple Random Sampling). The production function performed in this research is the "Cobb Douglas" Production Function. Meanwhile, to know the efficiency of the use of production factors is done with the production value and production price used. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the influence of input to production in farming shows that input of seed, urea fertilizer, manure, have a very significant effect on corn production, while the input of ponska fertilizer and labor is not significant. While efficiency of input input of seed, urea fertilizer, manure each value greater 1 (one) or not yet reached the efficiency of price.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the knowledge of farmers about jajar legowo planting system, the income of rice jajar legowo planting system, the productivity of rice jajar legowo planting system and the efficiency of rice jajar legowo planting system. The research was conducted in Subak Paang Kelurahan Penatih, the method used was extension method, survey and experiment. To know the impact of the application of jajar legowo planting system to increase income and productivity of rice farming, compared with unlived of rice jajar legowo planting system, to know the efficiency of rice usagei used R / C. The result of the research found (1) farmers almost half of them or 45% to know about the technology of jajar legowo planting system (2) revenues of rice farming with jajar legowo planting system increased by Rp 7,446,250 / land area or 40.22%; (3) productivity of rice farming with jajar legowo planting system can increase 2,225 kg / land area or 28,80% and (4) rice farming system of jajar legowo planting system more efficient than without jajar legowo planting system.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Type Biochar on Growth and Yield Plant Green Mustard (Brassica juncea L) On The Contaminated Land Wastewater In Subak Cuculan Kepaon village". Field research was conducted in Subak Cuculan Kepaon Village, South Denpasar District for 35 days from the date of December 26, 2016 until January 31, 2017. The study aims to determine the type of biochar most good for the growth and yield of green cabbage grown on land contaminated liquid waste , Research using Random Design (RBD) with 5 treatments, treatment biochar rice husk (B1), biochar chicken manure (B2), biochar coconut (B3), biochar mahogany (B4) and control (B0) of each treatment was repeated 5 times that number to 25. Where all treatments of chicken manure biochar treatment (B2) with a dose of 15 ton / ha gives good results most growth compared with the treatment of other biochar and highly significant (P <0.01) to the control (B0) for all parameters of observations such as plant height maximum, the number of maximum leaf, wet weight of the total crop per plant, fresh weight plant roots per plant, dry weight oven total crop per plant, dry weight oven plant roots per plant and treatment biochar chicken manure (B2) an increase of 35.6% against the results of the parameters total plant fresh weight per plant, and the resulting increase 153.6% to the total oven dry weight of plants per plant compared to the control (B0).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the treatment soaking seed mustard greens with PGPR and dosage of organic fertilizer against growth and crop mustard greens.The research was carried out in pots at the Subak Gangsang, the village of Marga Dajan Puri, Sub-district, Tabanan Regency, which lasted for 35 days calculated from the time of planting 15 August up to harvest 20 September 2016.The research of using random Random Draft Basic Design Group (RAK) factorial with three replicates. It's entirely contained 36 pot experiment.The results of the analysis of the statistics show that of the 12 treatment interaction between treatment soaking seed mustard greens with PGPR and dosage of organic fertilizer against growth and crop mustard greens (WxD) give different very real influence (P < 0.01) for most of the observed parameters, except against the parameters of plant root length-1 giving different influences isn't real (P 0.05 >). The duration of time of soaking of seed mustard greens with PGPR (W) gave significant effect (P <0,05) to very real (P <0,01) to most observed parameters, except for maximum plant height parameters, dry weight of root oven -1, dry weight of oven-economical plant-1, and economical wet weight of acre -1 which gives no significant effect (P> 0.05). The treatment of organic fertilizer dosage (D) gave no significant effect (P <0.05) on most parameters observed, except for the wet-root weight parameter of plant-1 which gave a very real effect (P <0.01)

Abstract

The aims of this study are finding out factors influencing demand, price,and cross elasticies of demand for bananas by fried merchant in Denpasar. The study focuses on fried merchant in Denpasar City including 70 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression considering economic, econometrics and statistics criteria.Based on the linear regression analysis, the demand model for bananas by fried merchant in Denpasar is lnY = -20,832 + 0,073 lnX1 – 0,076 lnX2 – 0,044 lnX3 + 0,49 lnX4 +1,025 lnX5 + 0,955 lnX6 – 0,025 lnX7 +µi.All independent variables are simultaneously significant affecting demand for bananas by fried merchant in Denpasar. Partially, prices of frying oils and income significantly affecting demand for bananas by fried merchant. Meanwhile, price of bananas, price of tofu, price of tempeh, price of flour, and cost of rent the place do not have significant effect on demand for bananas. Price elasticity of demand for bananas shows an inelastic figure (e<1), implying that demand for bananas is not responsive to the price changes. A positive sign in the value of the income elasticity indicates that banana is a normal good. Sign of the cross-price elasticity of tofu and tempeh prices was negative, referring that these goods are complementary to bananas.
