Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the process of Acculturation of Religion and Sacredness in the Lanny Tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. Then, analyzing the form of religious acculturation and sacredness in the Lanny tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. As well as uncovering the Implications of Acculturation of Religion and Sacredness to the Lanny Tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Determination of key informants is done in a snowball manner by determining key informants who guide the researcher in determining the next informant. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, and focus group discussions. Data analysis includes the stages of preparing data, reading all data, coding data, analyzing data, and interpreting data by putting it in the form of interpretive narratives. The results showed that the acculturation process was carried out with the process of introducing Christian religious teachings which was carried out peacefully and persuasively, even though there had been tension, but it did not last long. forms of acculturation that occur include substitution, syncretism, addition, deculturation, and rejection. These forms of acculturation experience their respective adjustments, both from traditional sacred practices and the Christian religion. The implications of acculturation have a very significant impact on changes in the lifestyle of the Lanny people, such as orientation in life.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal a professional description of promotion, supporting slot maxwin factors, and inhibiting factors, and a strategy for a promotion system that is in accordance with the work professionalism of the Public Works and Public Housing Office of West Papua Province can produce public service performance. The research approach used is a mixed method that combines a qualitative research approach, to see the depth of data through interviews and field observations, then a quantitative approach using statistical benchmarks or regression using survey methods. Qualitative data analysis includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification, and drawing conclusions. While the quantitative analysis is through the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test. The research results show that the mechanism is not yet transparent. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors that influence the professionalism of promotion are closely related to its internal and external dimensions. If the supporting factors cannot be optimized and the inhibiting factors cannot be handled properly, then promotion cannot be carried out professionally. Public Service Standards and Reputation can be described by the degree of achievement by examining the consistent aspects of achieving the goals supported by the presentation of the Public Service Index

Abstract

Social problems will continue to emerge unavoidably and at the same time will continue to affect the dimensions of everyone's life. Liquor is a type of drink that contains addictive substances (alcohol). This is what then makes every drink user sometimes commit criminal/deviant acts which are of course detrimental and troubling to society, such as bullying, fights, and domestic violence. the dangers of this liquor can not only be felt by certain persons but the behavior of the liquor harms many parties. This study aims to determine how the community responds to alcoholics in Hedam Village, Heram District, Jayapura City. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, the number of samples is 10, and the purposive sampling technique data collection methods observation, interviews, and documentation. qualitative data analysis namely data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal. The results that are known from this research are the public's response to the perpetrators of drinking, what are the effects of drinking. The conclusion is that alcohol can influence alcoholics so it has a harmful impact on oneself and others. Recommendations from the government and related institutions can take this behavior problem due to alcohol seriously because alcohol is one of the highest causes of crime and death in the Land of Papua.

Abstract

Customary rights owners, investors and the state are working groups that must uphold the principles of justice in PTFI's mining business, the state, the Amungme and Kamoro communities are working partners in mining exploration in Mimika, Papua. Profit sharing between parties I, II and III is regulated in a humane work agreement and no injustice should occur. However, the problem is that customary landowners only receive a partnership trust budget (social budget), which varies annually. For example, from 1994-2003 or 23 years of existence, the social budgeting distribution from PTFI amounted to 1.3 billion US dollars (managed by LPMAK). Partnership budget distributions of $634 and $662 million also occurred (managed by PTFI's Non Community Affair Dept.). Trust and partnership budget reached USD 437.3 in 2006 and 2007 increased to USD 480.3 also distributed by PTFI. Decreased, reaching USD 400.0 in 2010. This research has both academic and practical purposes. It is useful for socially just budget distribution. Then, the methodology used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was done through direct and indirect interviews. Samples, data analysis and management were conducted on the Amungme and Kamoro tribes as customary rights owners in Mimika, Papua. Research findings; PTFI, the state, the Amungme and Kamoro communities are not good partners in the mining business in Mimika, Papua.

Abstract

This article is the result of research on reformation of format leadership style in Mamberamo Tengah regency. The main problem of this research is to know how the formal leadership in this context (regent) and how the public service practice with base on “good governance” principle in development  for Mamberamo Tengah’s community.This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected by field observation, interview and literature study. The results show that so really need an action of reformation on regent’s formal leadership style as a head of Mamberamo Tengah area for the sake of “good governance” principle materialized in public service and development for local community. This is because in his leadership’s style that so prominently is toxic leadership that contradiction with local Indohoki77 memastikan bahwa semua permainan yang ditawarkan adalah adil dan transparan leadserhip culture values is Ap kain (Big Man) who is generous.
