Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze gender relations and the division of roles between men and women in the life of the Hubula tribe in Kampung Isaima, DIstrik Usilimo, Jayawijaya Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative ethnographic approach. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes the stages of data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results showed that there was participation in production and reproduction activities, husband and wife did the division of labor based on the consensus that they had previously discussed. However, despite the participation of men / husbands, the share of women in production and reproduction activities is still larger. Then in social activities, men take a bigger portion.

Abstract

This research, which is located in Merauke Regency, aims to identify two things; first, tracing the framework for developing tourist destinations based on local wisdom of the Marori Tribe, second, finding the correlation of local wisdom of the Marori Tribe which was adopted as a development of culture-based tourism in the Wasur National Park area, Merauke Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data was collected by means of interviews, literature studies, and documentation as a complement. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data display, as well as drawing conclusions and data verification (conclusion drawing and data verification). The results of this study state that the development of cultural tourism based on local wisdom carried out by the Marori Tribe in Wasur National Park has included all components in the framework of developing tourist destinations, namely attractions, accessibility, amenities, ancillary services, and institutions

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the work ethics of women vendors selling Noken Tribe Mee around Saga Mall Abepura, Kota Baru District is in 2022. This research uses a qualitative research method, this method seeks to understand and interpret the meaning of an event involving human behavior in certain situations. The sampling technique used in this research uses purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done through observational literature studies, in-depth interviews, snowballing documentation. Data analysis techniques include stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the work ethics of the women of the Mee Tribe noken sellers around Saga Mall Abepura, Kota Baru Subdistrict is seen in how they work by respecting time, choosing selling materials, serving customers or consumers, choosing a place to sell. The influence of the cultural values of the Mee Tribe mothers is very strong and has been a tradition passed down from generation to generation and has religious values or a strong belief in the Creator.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the process of Acculturation of Religion and Sacredness in the Lanny Tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. Then, analyzing the form of religious acculturation and sacredness in the Lanny tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. As well as uncovering the Implications of Acculturation of Religion and Sacredness to the Lanny Tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Determination of key informants is done in a snowball manner by determining key informants who guide the researcher in determining the next informant. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, and focus group discussions. Data analysis includes the stages of preparing data, reading all data, coding data, analyzing data, and interpreting data by putting it in the form of interpretive narratives. The results showed that the acculturation process was carried out with the process of introducing Christian religious teachings which was carried out peacefully and persuasively, even though there had been tension, but it did not last long. forms of acculturation that occur include substitution, syncretism, addition, deculturation, and rejection. These forms of acculturation experience their respective adjustments, both from traditional sacred practices and the Christian religion. The implications of acculturation have a very significant impact on changes in the lifestyle of the Lanny people, such as orientation in life.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis pada guru olahraga tingkat SMP di Kota Jayapura. Terdapat empat tahapan kegiatan yaitu persiapan, pendidikan atau pelatihan, penguatan, dan evaluasi yang dilakukan mulai dari bulan Juni hingga Oktober. Sebanyak 21 guru olahraga tingkat SMP di Kota Jayapura mengikuti kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan PkM menemukan bahwa sebanyak 85.71% peserta PkM menyatakan belum pernah menulis artikel dan sebanyak 90.48% belum pernah menulis buku. Sebanyak 90.5% peserta menyebutkan belum pernah menggunakan aplikasi references tools. Sebanyak 85% peserta dapat memahami dengan baik materi penulisan yang diberikan. Dua artikel ilmiah berhasil dibuat dan dipublikasikan oleh peserta PkM dalam jurnal nasional.

Abstract

AbstrakPelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen event di kalangan penggiat esports di Kota Jayapura, Papua. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan yang intensif dan partisipatif, melibatkan peserta dalam pembelajaran tentang manajemen event melalui teori dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pre-test dan post-test, serta analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis terkait tingkat pemahaman menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang dilaksanakan tidak memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Sungguhpun demikian, melalui kegiatan ini sudah berhasil diselenggarakan sebuah event esport di Jayapura. Peserta juga merespon positif kegiatan pengabdian ini dan mempersepsikan kegiatan tersebut sangat baik. Saran yang diberikan adalah diperlukan edukasi dan pendampingan yang lebih intensif agar pengembangan kapasitas pegiat esport di Jayapura meningkat sehingga pembangunan ekosistem esport lebih baik di masa mendatang. Kata kunci: esports; manajemen event; ekosistem esport. AbstractThis training aims to improve event management skills among esports activists in Jayapura City, Papua. The methods used in this activity include intensive and participatory training, involving participants in learning about event management through theory and hands-on practice. Evaluation was conducted using a quantitative approach with pre-test and post-test, as well as descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study related to the level of understanding showed that the training carried out did not have a significant impact on increasing participants' knowledge. Nevertheless, through this activity, an esports event in Jayapura has been successfully organized. Participants also responded positively to this service activity and perceived the activity as very good. The suggestion given is that more intensive education and mentoring are needed so that the capacity building of export activists in Jayapura increases so that the development of the esports ecosystem is better in the future. Keywords: esports; event management; esports ecosystem.

Abstract

Abstrak Mental atlet diyakini sebagai dimensi yang sangat menentukan prestasi atlet di lapangan. Namun sayangnya, belum banyak yang memahami bagaimana cara melatih mental atlet. Oleh karena itu, tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi tentang mode latihan mental yang disebut dengan mental toughness training circle (MTTC) pada guru olahraga di Jayapura. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu: edukasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Sebanyak 21 guru olahraga mengikuti kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta PkM memiliki keyakinan yang tinggi bahwa faktor mental adalah dimensi penting dalam olahraga, yaitu sebanyak 95.2% peserta yakin bahwa aspek mental sangat penting dan 4.8% menjawab penting. Peserta dapat memahami materi yang diberikan dengan baik dan peserta dapat mengaplikasikan program latihan mental, terutama berpikir positif dengan baik. Kata kunci: melatih mental; mental toughness training circle; guru olahraga. Abstract An athlete's mentality is believed to be a dimension that determines an athlete's performance on the field. But unfortunately, not many people understand how to train athletes mentally. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide education about a mental training mode called the mental toughness training circle (MTTC) to physical education teachers in Jayapura. This service activity is carried out through four stages, namely: education, training, mentoring, and evaluation. A total of 21 physical education teachers took part in this activity. The results of the activity show that PkM participants have a high belief that mental factors are an important dimension in sports, namely 95.2% of participants believe that the mental aspect is very important and 4.8% answered that it was important. The participants can understand the material provided well and they can apply mental training programs, especially positive thinking. Keywords: mental toughness training circle; mental training; physical education teacher.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide education and knowledge about understanding and recognizing the characteristics of the authenticity of Rupiah banknotes for the 2022 emission year in the activities of the Sunday school children of the Kingmi Eklesia Angkasa Church, Jayapura City in carrying out family, congregational and state economic activities. The methods used are lectures, discussions and questions and answers. This activity was welcomed by the church and the Sunday school children of the Kingmi Eklesia Angkasa Church, Jayapura City, gained knowledge about how to recognize genuine payment instruments.

Abstract

Oleh karena itu, tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan tentang cara mengukur mental toughness pada guru olahraga di Jayapura. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu: edukasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Sebanyak 21 guru olahraga mengikuti kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 90.5% menjawab tidak mengetahui instrumen terstandar dalam mengungkap mental atlet dan hanya 9.5% yang menjawab mengetahui. Melalui kegiatan ini, guru olahraga di kota Jayapura mengetahui beberapa instrumen terstandar dalam mengungkap mental toughness pada atlet. Selain itu, guru olahraga juga melakukan pengukuran aspek mental toughness pada atletnya dengan baik. Kata kunci: instrument mental atlet; mental toughness; guru olahraga. Abstract An athlete's mentality is believed to be a dimension that determines an athlete's performance on the field. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide education and training on how to measure mental toughness in physical education teachers in Jayapura. This service activity is carried out through four stages, namely: education, training, mentoring, and evaluation. A total of 21 physical education teachers participated in this activity. The results of the activity showed that as many as 90.5% answered that they did not know about standardized instruments for revealing athletes' mental health and only 9.5% answered that they knew. Through this activity, physical education teachers in the city of Jayapura learned about several standardized instruments for revealing mental toughness in athletes. Apart from that, the teachers also measured aspects of mental toughness in their athletes well. Keywords: athlete's mental instrument; mental toughness; physical education teacher.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk mengedukasi pentingnya menulis dan cara menulis yang mudah pada guru olahraga di MGMP PJOK SMP Kota Jayapura. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu: persiapan, pendidikan atau pelatihan, penguatan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan PkM menunjukkan sebanyak 21 guru olahraga tingkat SMP di Kota Jayapura, Papua, mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Sebanyak 80.95% atau 17 orang adalah guru olahraga laki-laki sedangkan 19.05% atau 4 orang adalah guru perempuan. Secara usia, rata-rata usia peserta PkM adalah 34.57 ± 10.62 tahun dengan usia guru yang termuda adalah 23 tahun sedangkan yang senior 57 tahun. Berdasarkan pengalaman, tampak bahwa rata-rata peserta memiliki pengalaman mengajar selama 8.95 tahun dan bahkan terdapat yang sudah mengajar 29 tahun. Sebanyak 85.71% peserta PkM menyatakan belum pernah menulis artikel dan sebanyak 90.48% belum pernah menulis buku. Sebanyak 90.5% peserta menyebutkan belum pernah menggunakan aplikasi references tools. Sebanyak 85% peserta dapat memahami dengan baik materi penulisan yang diberikan dan peserta sangat tertarik untuk membuat tulisan bertema olahraga pendidikan, olahraga rekreasi, serta olahraga prestasi.
