Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilakukan suatu eksperimen pembentukan formasi pola dengan menggunakan Robot LEGO Mindstorms NXT. Pembentukan pola ini dilakukan secara bertahap dimulai dari pembentukan formasi pola yang lebih sederhana menuju kepada formasi pola yang lebih kompleks. Dalam penelitian ini, diterapkan konsep pembedaan peranan dalam pembentukan formasi pola poligon. Konsep pembedaan peranan ini diterapkan dengan menggunakan persamaan periodik. Selain itu, persamaan pembedaan peranan dibuat dengan fitur terbebas dari kondisi awal dari nilai variabel pembeda. Pembentukan formasi pola pada penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 3 tahapan, yaitu tahap penerapan persamaan, tahap penerapan robot simulasi, dan tahap penerapan perangkat robot. Pembentukan formasi pola yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini ada tiga macam, yaitu pembentukan formasi pola segitiga, pembentukan formasi pola segiempat / jajaran genjang, dan pembentukan formasi pola segilima.

Abstract

Tuna fish image classification is an important part to sort out the type and quality of the tuna based upon the shape. The image of tuna should have good segmentation results before entering the classification stage. It has uneven lighting and complex texture resulting in inappropriate segmentation. This research proposed method of automatic determination seeded random walker in the watershed region for tuna image segmentation. Random walker is a noise-resistant segmentation method that requires two types of seeds defined by the user, the seed pixels for background and seed pixels for the object. We evaluated the proposed method on 30 images of tuna using relative foreground area error (RAE), misclassification error (ME), and modified Hausdroff distances (MHD) evaluation methods with values of 4.38%, 1.34% and 1.11%, respectively. This suggests that the seeded random walker method is more effective than exiting methods for tuna image segmentation.

Abstract

Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is a nature-inspired optimization algorithm which is motivated by ants foraging behavior. Due to its favorable advantages, ACO has been widely used to solve several NP-hard problems, including edge detection. Since ACO initially distributes ants at random, it may cause imbalance ant distribution which later affects path discovery process. In this paper an adaptive ACO is proposed to optimize edge detection by adaptively distributing ant according to gradient analysis. Ants are adaptively distributed according to gradient ratio of each image regions. Region which has bigger gradient ratio, will have bigger number of ant distribution. Experiments are conducted using images from various datasets. Precision and recall are used to quantitatively evaluate performance of the proposed algorithm. Precision and recall of adaptive ACO reaches 76.98 % and 96.8 %. Whereas highest precision and recall for standard ACO are 69.74 % and 74.85 %. Experimental results show that the adaptive ACO outperforms standard ACO which randomly distributes ants.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas teknik segmentasi warna berbasis RGB Chromaticity Diagram ternormalisasi, untuk ekstraksi simbol dan karakter pada citra rambu lalu lintas. Teknik yang diusulkan adalah memisahkan warna biru pada latar belakang rambu petunjuk lalu lintas. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan histogram yang dikembangkan pada diagram kromatisitas untuk penentuan nilai ambang segmentasi secara otomatis. Selain itu, teknik morfologi citra dan proyeksi histogram digunakan untuk ekstraksi simbol dan karakter. Dari hasil eksperimen diperoleh bahwa teknik yang diusulkan dapat mengekstrak simbol dan karakter dengan rata-rata ekstraksi 97.3%. This research describes a normalized color segmentation technique based on RGB Chromaticity Diagram, for the extraction of symbols and characters in the image of the traffic signs. The proposed technique is to separate the blue color of the background traffic signs. This is done by using a histogram that was developed in the chromaticity diagram for the determination of the threshold value segmentation automatically. In addition, the image morphology technique and projection histogram are used for the extraction of symbols and characters. From the experimental results obtained that the proposed technique can extract symbols and characters with an average extraction is 97.3%.

Abstract

Geo-demographic analysis (GDA) is a useful method to analyze information based on location, utilizing several spatial analysis explicitly. One of the most efficient and commonly used method is Fuzzy Geographically Weighted Clustering (FGWC).  However, it has a limitation in obtaining local optimal solution in the centroid initialization. A novel approach integrating Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) with FGWC is proposed to obtain global optimal solution leading to better cluster quality. Several cluster validity indexes are used to compare the proposed methods with the FGWC using other optimization approaches. The study shows that the hybrid method FGWC-GSA provides better cluster quality. Furthermore, the method has been implemented in R package spatialClust.

Abstract

Multi – document as one of summarization type has become more challenging issue than single-document because its larger space and its different content of each document. Hence, some of optimization algorithms consider some criteria in producing the best summary, such as relevancy, content coverage, and diversity. Those weighted criteria based on the assumption that the multi-documents are already located in the same cluster. However, in a certain condition, multi-documents consist of many categories and need to be considered too. In this paper, we propose an inter and intra cluster which consist of four weighted criteria functions (coherence, coverage, diversity, and inter-cluster analysis) to be optimized by using SaDE (Self Adaptive Differential Evolution) to get the best summary result. Therefore, the proposed method will deal not only with the value of compactness quality of the cluster within but also the separation of each cluster. Experimental results on Text Analysis Conference (TAC) 2008 datasets yields better summaries results with average ROUGE-1 on precision, recall, and f - measure 0.77, 0.07, and 0.12 compared to another method that only consider the analysis of intra-cluster.

Abstract

Implementasi algoritma Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) pada robot untuk pencarian sumber kebocoran gas memerlukan informasi posisi dari setiap robot. Penggunaan kamera memungkinkan untuk mendapatkan informasi posisi robot yang lebih absolut dan akurat dibandingkan dengan perangkat pencari informasi posisi lainnya. Paper ini memaparkan suatu metode yang akan digunakan untuk mencari posisi robot. Metode yang diajukan menggunakan beberapa teknik pengolahan citra, seperti, Color Filtering dan Blobs Filtering guna mengenali dan memperoleh posisi robot. Berdasarkan eksperimen yang telah dilakukan, metode ini mampu menentukan posisi absolut robot sehingga ia dapat menyediakan informasi posisi robot dalam implementasi algoritma PSO. Implementation of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm on the robot to search for the gas leakage source requires information of the position of each robot. The use of the camera allows the robot to obtain position information more accurate than the absolute position information of other search tools. This paper describes a method that will be used to locate the position of the robot. Proposed method uses several image processing techniques, such as, Color Filtering and Blobs Filtering in order to identify and obtain the robot position. Based on the experiments that have been performed, the method is capable of determining the absolute position of the robot so that it can provide position information of the robot in PSO algorithm implementation.

Abstract

Business software development with global team is increasing rapidly and the programming language as development tool takes the important role in the global web development. The real user friendly programming language should be written in local language for programmer who has native language is not in English. This paper presents our design of BAIK (Bahasa Anak Indonesia untuk Komputer)scripting language which syntax is modeled with Bahasa Indonesian for multitier web development. Researcher propose the implementation of Indonesian Parsing Engine and Binary Search Tree structure for memory allocation of variable and compose the language features that support basic Object Oriented Programming, Common Gateway Interface, HTML style manipulation and database connection. Our goal is to build real programming language from simple structure design for web development using Indonesian lexical words. Pengembangan bisnis perangkat lunak dalam tim berskala global meningkat dengan cepat dan bahasa pemrograman berperan penting dalam pengembangan web secara global. Bahasa pemrograman yang benar-benar ramah terhadap pengguna harus ditulis dalam bahasa lokal programmer yang bahasa ibunya bukan Bahasa Inggris. Paper ini menyajikan desain dari bahasa penulisan BAIK (Bahasa Anak Indonesia untuk Komputer), yang sintaksisnya dimodelkan dengan Bahasa Indonesia untuk pengembangan web multitier. Peneliti mengusulkan implementasi dari parsing engine Bahasa Indonesia dan struktur binary search tree untuk alokasi memori terhadap variabel, serta membuat fitur bahasa yang mendukung dasar pemrograman berbasis objek, common gateway interface, manipulasi gaya HTML, dan koneksi basis data. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan bahasa pemrograman yang sesungguhnya dan menggunakan desain struktur sederhana untuk pengembangan web dengan menggunakan kata-kata dari Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Image Segmentation is a process to separate between foreground and background. Segmentation process in low contrast image such as dental panoramic radiograph image is not easily determined. Image segmentation accuracy determines the success or failure of the final analysis process. The process of segmentation can occur ambiguity. This ambiguity is due to an ambiguous area if it is not selected as a region so it may have occurred cluster errors. To solve this ambiguity, we proposed a new region merging by iterated region merging process on dental panoramic radiograph image. The proposed method starts from the user marking and works iteratively to label the surrounding regions. In each iteration, the minimal gray-levels value is merged so the unknown regions significantly reduced. This experiment shows that the proposed method is effective with an average of ME and RAE of 0.04% and 0.06%.

Abstract

Tambak udang putih merupakan sebuah ekosistem buatan kompleks yang membutuhkan bantuan manusia untuk mempertahankan keseimbangan elemen-elemen pembentuknya. Permasalahan di dalamnya disebabkan oleh proses ekologis baik secara biologi, kimia, maupun fisika yang saling terkait. Sehingga untuk menghasilkan solusi optimal perlu diperhitungkan bagaimana keterhubungan antar elemen. Pengetahuan mengenai hubungan elemen-elemen tersebut umumnya dikuasai oleh pakar, tetapi tidak seluruh tambak mampu menyediakan pakar dalam budidayanya. Pengembangan sistem pakar dalam penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menjawab kebutuhan pakar di tambak udang menggunakan teknik klasifikasi. Pengetahuan pakar direpresentasikan dalam decision table dengan penggunaan multi atribut. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menghasilkan solusi dari berbagai variasi masalah yang mungkin terjadi di tambak seperti pakar dan fleksibel untuk dimodifikasi. White shrimp embankment is a complex artificial ecosystem that requires human intervention to maintain the balance of its constituent elements. The problems inside are caused by ecological processes therein, either biology, chemistry, and physics that are interlinked so as to produce the optimal solution needs to be taken into account how the connection between elements. Knowledge about the relationships among these elements is generally dominated by experts, but not all embankments are able to provide experts in the cultivation. Development of expert systems in this study aimed to answer the needs of experts in shrimp embankments using the classification technique. Expert knowledge is represented in a decision table with the use of multi attributes. The experimental results show that the system is capable of generating solutions from a variety of problems that may occur in embankments such as expert and versatile to be modified.
