Abstract

This research aims to determine how teachers implement the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in the Independent Curriculum in class V in elementary schools. This research was conducted at Jambi City State Elementary School (SD) 1/IV in the even semester in the academic year of 2022/2023. This research uses a qualitative research methodology with a phenomenological research type. Research data was obtained directly through data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation with the class V homeroom teachers, namely Mrs. S, Mr. AP, Mrs. NEP, Mr. VK, and Mrs. F. After carrying out a series of data collection techniques, the data was then analyzed using the method of Miles and Huberman: reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. This research shows that in implementing the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, teachers are guided by the guidebook to develop their ways of teaching them through several stages (2022). In the first stage, teachers understand the project for strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. Next, the teacher designs the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. Then, the teacher manages the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. Lastly, the teacher processes the assessment and reports the project results to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. This research concludes that the fifth-grade teacher at SDN 1/IV Jambi City has successfully implemented the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. It can be seen in the achievement of learning outcomes. Implementing the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students can be used as an example for other teachers to implement similar learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the contribution of Abbasid civilization to education both covering Abbasid history, policies related to scientific development, and developing educational institutions. This research is a literature research by emphasizing historical aspects with heuristics, criticism, interpretation and histography steps. The results of the study showed that there were several policies implemented by the government to develop science and civilization which included translation projects, rihlah 'ilmiyyah and  the construction of educational institutions which included libraries, kuttab, mosques, madrasas, art studios, bookstores, observatories, ribath and zawiyyah. When contextualized with Islamic education today, there are several alternatives offered by the Abbasid State. First, in addition to using a normative approach, an experimental approach in education is needed as a solutive alternative to facing industrial challenges.  Second, to form educated people, there needs to be a synergy of all elements, not just educational institutions.  Third, Islamic educational institutions must have a concentration in certain sciences on the basis of Islamic norms.

Abstract

At weddings, after the marriage contract is carried out, Muslims are encouraged to hold a walimatul 'ursy, or what is also known as a banquet. In holding a walimatul 'ursy, there are procedures so that it is by Islamic law. In Islam, it has been regulated that the lives of men and women are separate, meaning that no mixing (ikhțilat) is permitted, and it has been explained in the Al-Qur'an and hadith regarding the harm that occurs if you give khțilat. It must also be applied during the walimatul 'ursy. The separation between men and women in the walimatul 'ursy is called walimah infiṣal. This research aims to find out the views of Islamic law regarding walimah infiṣal. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach, and the researcher took four wedding organizers from the PANATACARA organization in Bandung City for research. The research results show that the implementation of walimah infiṣal is highly recommended to avoid mixing between men and women who are not mahram. This is carried out in three ways, namely separating the aisle, separating guests, and separating the food buffet between men and women. At weddings, after the marriage contract is carried out, Muslims are encouraged to hold a walimatul 'ursy, or what is also known as a banquet. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of risk management and explore the perceptions of risk owners about its impact. This research was conducted at the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, especially in the service unit for procuring goods and construction services, considering the large budget and the number of auction packages. The research was designed as qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection uses in-depth interviews to explore phenomena related to implementing risk management in these public sector organizations—data analysis using the Interactive Data Model. The research results show that implementing risk management is not only seen as a mere formality but as a necessity for the organization. In these public sector organizations, the effectiveness in implementing risk management is, on average, in the defined category, which means it is effective in creating and protecting organizational value. Although risk management is still carried out partially, the overall risk management system has begun to be structured and realized. On the other hand, there are still obstacles in risk management infrastructure, such as the unavailability of a risk management information system, limited understanding of risk management, and the absence of a specific budget related to risk management. In overcoming this problem, the solutions offered are to build a risk management information system, conduct education and training, and allocate a specific budget for risk management.
