Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To analyze economic growth, unemployment rates, education levels, labor force participation rates (TPAK) and poverty rates in Jambi Province districts / cities in 2013-2018. 2) To analyze the effect of economic growth, unemployment rate, education level and labor force participation rate (TPAK) on poverty levels in Jambi Province in 2013-2018. Based on the results of panel data regression, it can be concluded that economic growth, unemployment rate, education level and TPAK together have a significant effect on poverty levels in districts / cities in Jambi Province. Partially, the variable of economic growth and the level of education have a significant and negative effect on the level of poverty, while the variable unemployment rate and the level of labor force participation do not significantly influence the level of poverty in the districts / cities in Jambi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze trends in the HDI, Food Security Index, Government Spending in Education and Health between Provinces on the island of Sumatra. 2) analyze the influence of the Food Security Index, Government Expenditure in Education and Health on the Human Development Index on the island of Sumatra. This study uses secondary data available from the Food Security Agency and the Central Statistics Agency in 2014-2018. The method used is descriptive and quantitative methods using panel data analysis tools. This study found that: 1) the development of HDI in 10 Provinces of Sumatra increased each year but tended to be slow, the development of government spending in education and health in 10 Provinces of Sumatra fluctuated each year but was still in the minimum provisions of the regional budget, and the Index Food Security in 10 Provinces in Sumatra also experienced fluctuating developments. 2) the variable Food Security, Government Spending in the field of Education and Health partially and simultaneously has a significant positive effect on the Food Security Index.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To find out and analyze the development of per capita income, workers know the socioeconomic characteristics of the Batik Jambi home industry in DanauTeluk and Pelayangan districts. and 2) To determine the effect of capital, labor, age and length of business on the income of Batik Jambi home industry in Danau Teluk and Pelayangan districts. The data used in this study are primary data. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative method, multiple regression analysis tool with the OLS method. Based on the results of the simultaneous test that only the variable capital and partial labor have a significant effect on the income of the head of the family, while the age and length of the business variable does not significantly influence the income of the owner of the owner of the batik industry in Danau Teluk and Pelayangan District.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to determine and analyze the development of imports of consumer goods, capital goods, raw / auxiliary materials and Indonesia's GDP. (2) to determine and analyze the magnitude of the influence of imports of consumer goods, capital goods, raw / auxiliary materials on Indonesia's GDP. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method with multiple linear regression analysis tools with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this study indicate that the development of imports of consumer goods in Indonesia in 2000-2018 has increased on average every year, the development of imports of capital goods has increased on average annually higher than imports of consumer goods, the development of imports of raw / auxiliary materials has on average experienced increase every year and followed by the development of Indonesia's GDP which increases every year. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, Import of Consumer Goods has a significant effect on Indonesia’s GDP, imports of capital goods have a significant effect on Indonesia's GDP, imports of raw / auxiliary materials have no effect on Indonesia's GDP.

Abstract

Initially the general reason for working women was to help the family economy. This study aims to: 1) To analyze the social and economic characteristics of female traders selling vegetables at the Angso Duo market in Jambi City. 2) To analyze the contribution of income of women traders selling vegetables to family income. 3) To analyze the effect of operational capital, age, education level, number of dependents, hours of work and business locations of women traders selling vegetables in the Angso Duo market in Jambi City. The research analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis tools. Based on social characteristics, the average age of business traders is around 41-50 years, for the average education level of female traders is junior high school graduates and the average number of dependents owned by respondents in this study is 2-3 people. While the economic characteristics of women traders show that the average working hours of women traders is 7-8 hours, the average traders selling in strategic places, the average operating capital of women traders is Rp. 600,000 per month and the average income of vegetable traders is below Rp. 5,000,000. Based on the results of multiple linear regression, it can be concluded that partially only operating capital and location variables have a significant effect on the income of female traders.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social and economic conditions of rubber farmers in the Muhajirin Village, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency. In addition, it is also to analyze the factors that influence rubber production in Muhajirin Village, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained through a survey using a questionnaire. Samples of rubber farmers who were respondents in this study were 82 farmers. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive quantitative using multiple linear regression analysis tools. This study aims to analyzethe factors that have a significant influence in this study are land area, number of plants, number of tapping and labor. Furthermore, age of plant does not have a significant effect on the amount of rubber production in Muhajirin Village, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency

Abstract

The learning model commonly used in the History of Economic Thought course is a conventional model. This model is considered less in accordance with the characteristics of Generation Z who tend to like modern methods. The research method or evaluation carried out in this study is using student self-assessment. In self-assessment, students evaluate the overall process of learning action or action on concepts through performance outcomes or products. The project-based learning model (PjBL) is based on a constructivist learning theory based on the idea that students acquire knowledge based on their own experience. To complement PjBL innovation, it is accompanied by an ability assessment, namely Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Where HOTS requires students to build their own knowledge and apply knowledge so as to produce output that can be useful. The results of the study show that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model with Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) innovation has a very positive influence on increasing students' critical thinking power and can trigger students' enthusiasm and activeness in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the socioeconomic characteristics of female workers in pre-prosperous families who received PKH and To find out and analyze the effect of age, education, work experience and working hours of respondents on the income of women workers in pre-prosperous families who are PKH recipients in Alam Barajo District, Jambi City. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The method of analysis used in this research is the method of analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis method using a quantitative approach, and using multiple linear regression formulations. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variables of working hours, age, and work experience have a significant effect on the income of women workers in pre-prosperous families who are PKH recipients. Meanwhile, the level of education has an insignificant effect on the income of women workers in poor families who are PKH recipients in Jambi City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital, working hours, education, social and economy simultaneously on increasing income Trade Sector UKM in Sungai Penuh City and to know the social and economic development of UKM Trade sector in Sungai Penuh City. This research is a research with a quantitative approach with a population of 157 SMEs. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling in order to obtain a total sample of 113 samples. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Classical assumptions use normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The data analysis technique to answer the hypothesis uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the assumptions are. Social development affects the income of trading SMEs in Sungai Penuh City. variable working hours, capital, education, and labor have a significant effect on the income of trading SMEs in Sungai Penuh City partially. The four variables, namely working hours, education capital, and labor have an effect on the income of trading SMEs in Sungai Penuh City.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Increase community income which fluctuates after the Covid-19 pandemic through the provision of goat livestock assistance, (2) Provide knowledge to the community, especially breeders related to good livestock management, and (3) Provide understanding to the community in Olak Kemang Village in improving the potential quality of agricultural waste as goat feed. The method used is a descriptive and quantitative approach. A descriptive approach was taken to provide an overview of the conditions in Olak Kemang Village supported by field data related to counseling and socialization of livestock rearing management, training on processing agricultural waste as animal feed. The quantitative approach uses an investment analysis of the feasibility of the goat farming business and the socio-economic conditions of the community. The results of this activity show that quantitatively, the calculation of investment analysis and business feasibility can be described that the goat farming business provides a profit of Rp. 30,210,000 so that the average monthly income for each family head is Rp. 359,643. With a partner's level of satisfaction with this activity is more than 80%.
