Abstract

Indonesian local bananas are among the types favored by consumers because they have a good taste with a fresher aroma compared to imported bananas. However, local Indonesian bananas have a weakness because they have a high water content so that bananas have a relatively short shelf life. Maro Sebo Village is one of the villages located in the Jambi Luar Kota District, in the Muaro Jambi Regency that has the potential for banana commodities. This study offers an innovation in making banana chips with different flavors so that people who like this food don't feel bored because there are many people who like snacks. The achievement target of this activity is a change in mindset so that the efforts carried out by the women's farmer group in Maro Sebo Village are more business-oriented by providing an understanding of how to start a business of various flavors of banana chips so that they become useful products and open access to online-based sales. The results achieved from this activity are the issuance of PIRT (Food Home Industry) permits and changes in behavior, namely increasing the skills of farmer women's groups, young people, changes in business results, changes in income/profits, and changes in efficiency and effectiveness of production management.

Abstract

Since 2015 the Government of Indonesia has targeted ​​12.7 hectares land reform through the social forestry program (SFP).This paper traces village SFP beneficiaries and compares them to villages that have forests that did not receive SFP on the three islands of Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi in Indonesia. The empirical analysis used the Instrumental variable method and in-depth interviews. The findings of this study indicate that the existence of SFPs has not had a significant impact on the growth in the number of businesses and deforestation in both protected and production forests zone. The reason due to limited land due to restrictions on post-determination of social forests, the entrepreneurial capacity of forest managers, not yet integrated SFP with village programs, and low capital and utilization of forest product processing technology. Meanwhile, SFPhas not yet had an impact on deforestation because of the low quality of forest management planning and policy interventions related to forest planting in critical land that hasn’tbeen optimal yet.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To determine and analyze the social and economic characteristics of coffee farmers in Kuala Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. 2) To determine and analyze the effect of land area, capital and labor on coffee production, Kuala Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency by using multiple linear regression analysis tools. Based on the social and economic characteristics of Coffee Farmers in Kuala Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, it can be concluded that the average age of the Coffee Farmers is 39 years, the average number of dependents of Coffee Farmers is 2 dependents, the average working hours of Coffee Farmers is 3 hours, The average coffee production produced by coffee farmers is 57 kg, the average area of land owned by coffee farmers is 1.46 hectares, the average capital of coffee farmers is Rp. 187,400, the average workforce of Coffee Farmers is only 1 person and the average income of the respondents is Rp. 1,710,000 per month. Based on the results of multiple linear regression, it can be concluded that partially only the variables of land area and labor have a significant effect on coffee production in Kuala Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and explain how the role of human resource management in the career development of employees at PT. Atlas Resources Tbk South Jakarta. The research method used is to use a qualitative design with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. This research is a field research where the problem posed in this study is determined by the current problem, so for this research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. This study uses a phenomenological approach where the author will see a reality related to the role of human resource management in the career development of employees at PT Atlas Resources Tbk, South Jakarta. To determine the role of human resource management in employee career development indicators are used, the indicators used include fair treatment in a career, concern for direct superiors, information about various promotion opportunities, interest in being promoted, and level of satisfaction. Role can be defined as a distinctive behavior that characterizes each person in a work group or social context that has a large influence on an event, while career development is a formal effort to improve and add abilities that are expected to have an impact on the development and expansion of knowledge, thereby opening up the opportunity to get a position or title that satisfies the life of an employee. From the research results it is known that the role of human resource management in employee career development at PT. Atlas Resources Tbk is in accordance with their respective functions, that each line, each department has its own role and function in accordance with the existing organizational structure in the company. Therefore, employees must be managed properly, namely by helping employees plan their future careers in the company so that employees and the company can develop themselves to the maximum so that they can assist the organization in achieving predetermined organizational goals.

Abstract

Unemployment of educated workers is a problem in the workforce, especially in Jambi City. This study aims to: 1) analyze the characteristics of educated workforce in obtaining a job in Jambi City, 2) analyze the factors that affect the length of time to seek work for educated workers in obtaining a job in Jambi City. This research uses multiple linear regression formulation.The results showed that the characteristics of the educated workforce who became respondents according to the average age of educated workers, namely 28 years, the dominant gender of the respondents was male. According to the latest level of education of educated workers, the average is 15 years, the average work experience of educated workers is never worked, the income of parents of educated workers is Rp. 2,513,043 on average, and the average length of time looking for work for workers is Rp. educated workforce is 1 year. Based on the results of the study, it shows that education, parents' income, and work experience affect the length of time looking for work for educated workers in Jambi City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine partially the effect of the work environment on the performance of employees of the Trenggalek City Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD). To find out partially the effect of motivation on the performance of employees of the Trenggalek City Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD), and to know simultaneously the effect of the Work Environment and Motivation together on the performance of the employees of the Trenggalek City Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD). This research method uses a descriptive type with a quantitative approach. The analytical methods used in this research are validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, correlation test, multiple linear regression test, determination test and significant test (t test and f test). The results showed that partially the work environment has a positive effect on employee performance, this can be seen from the t-test with a t-value of 6.616 > 1.665 with a significance level of 0.000 this value is smaller than 0.5 (0.000 < 0.5). Partially, work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, this can be seen from the t test with a t-value of 5.642 > 1.665 with a significance level of 0.000 this value is greater than 0.5 (0.000 < 0.5). And Simultaneously the work environment and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this can be seen from the results of the F test with Fcount 29.416 and Ftable 3.10 (29.416 > 3.10). Thus it can be interpreted that the work environment and work motivation simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyze the impact of illegal gold mining (IGM) on social, economic, and environmental conditions as well as the problems faced by families in the IGM area; 2) Formulate strategies for handling the impact of IGM on family welfare. The research was conducted in Pangkalan Jambu District, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. The type of data used is primary data sourced from family respondents and informants in the area around mining. Data were collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The results of the analysis found that IGM activities in general have been able to grow new job opportunities and increase people's income. However, from social and environmental aspects, there are various negative impacts of IGM on family welfare. Therefore, in dealing with the impact of IGM on family welfare, three policy strategies are recommended, namely: 1) increasing family capacity; 2) strengthening the values ​​of local wisdom and social capital in society; 3) People's Mining Area and Small-Scale Mining programs. Abstract

Land conversion reduce the Green Open Space (RTH) and provoke environmental problems. In Law No.26/2007 every city must have RTH at least 30% of the total area. RTH Depok City currently only reaches 16.33%. The objectives of this study are (1) identify the public perception of the existence of RTH Taman Lembah Mawar, (2) estimate the Willingness to Pay (WTP), (3) identify the potential implementation of the Payment For Environmental Services (PES). The method used is a Likert scale, DC-CVM, and descriptive analysis. The results show that the public's perception of the existence of Lembah Mawar Park is very good. WTP is IDR 13,147/household/year. Factors that have a significant effect are bid, education level, income level, and distance. PES scheme can be carried out using a voluntary or mandatory scheme with a participation fee collection mechanism through an institution formed by the community and supervised by the City Government.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the strategy of social enterprise sustainability. This type of research is qualitative research. The object of this research is PT X with a total of 13 stakeholders as resource persons. Data collection using in-depth interview techniques. The analysis method uses content analysis. The findings are that businesses are run with social innovation and operating practices that are in line with sustainable development goals, although there are internal business challenges related to errors in governance, improvements are made through improving governance and focusing on social innovation, developing partnerships with communities and consumers in produce service products while solving social problems as well as being able to positively increase finances. The owner who is also the manager has applied the concept of an entrepreneurial cycle that is able to become a major factor in creating PT X's business sustainability. Research contributions to the SDG's are related to quality education (SDG’s 4), Decent work & economic growth (SDG's 8), infrastructure, industry & innovation (SDG's 9) and partnerships to achieve goals (SDG's17) and implement some of the provisions of international standards in ISO 26000 Keywords: Social Enterprise, Social Innovation, Community Involvement, Transformational Leadership Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis strategi keberlanjutan social enterprise. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Obyek penelitian ini adalah PT X dengan total narasumber stakeholder sebanyak 13 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tehnik wawancara mendalam. Metode analisis menggunakan analisa konten. Hasil temuan yaitu usaha yang dijalankan dengan inovasi sosial dan praktek operasi yang sejalan dengan dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan, meskipun terdapat tantangan bisnis internal terkait kekeliruan dalam tata kelola namun dilakukan pembenahan melalui perbaikan tata kelola serta fokus dalam inovasi sosial, mengembangkan kemitraan dengan komunitas dan konsumen dalam menghasilkan produk layanan sekaligus memecahkan masalah sosial serta mampu meningkatkan keuangan secara positif. Pemilik yang juga sebagai pengelola telah menerapkan konsep siklus kewirausahaan yang mampu menjadi faktor utama dalam menciptakan keberlanjutan bisnis PT X. Kontribusi penelitian pada SDG's terkait pendidikan bermutu (SDGs 4), Pekerjaan layak & pertumbuhan ekonomi (SDG's 8), infrastruktur, industri & inovasi (SDG's 9) dan kemitraan untuk mencapai tujuan (SDG's17) serta menerapkan sebagian ketentuan standar internasional dalam ISO 26000.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how corporate social responsibility (CSR) can create sustainable MSMEs. The donor institutions that become the object of research are Bank X and Bank Y, with those who interviewed are the person in charge of each donor agency for the empowerment of MSMEs, assistants or owners of MSMEs with a total of 11 MSMEs spread across Indonesia, and representatives of the beneficiary communities. The techniques in this research are from extracting primary data through interviews and extracting secondary data such as through donor agency reports. This study found several scopes of effective support in supporting the sustainability of MSMEs, some related to the process of donor agencies providing marketing assistance, training and mentoring. Future contributions that can be made for donor agencies are to be able to assess the needs of MSMEs before providing any assistance. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana corporate social responsibility (CSR) yang dapat menciptakan UMKM yang berkelanjutan. Lembaga donor yang akan menjadi objek penelitian yaitu Bank X dan Bank Y, dan yang akan diwawancara yaitu penanggung jawab dari masing-masing lembaga donor untuk pemberdayaan UMKM, pendamping atau pemilik UMKM dengan jumlah 11 UMKM yang tersebar dari lintas Indonesia, dan perwakilan masyarakat penerima manfaat. Penggalian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui wawancara dan penggalian data sekunder seperti melalui laporan lembaga donor. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa ruang lingkup dukungan yang efektif dalam mendukung keberlanjutan UMKM, beberapa yang berkaitan seperti proses lembaga donor memberikan bantuan pemasaran, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kontribusi kedepan yang dapat dilakukan bagi lembaga donor untuk bisa melakukan asesmen kebutuhan UMKM sebelum memberikan bantuan apapun.
